She had been known for her intelligence and beauty, but more famously, she became known for bathing in the blood of virgins during the latter half of the sixteenth century. On December 30, 1610. A band of soldiers led by Elizabeth's own cousin, raided Castle Csejthe at night. The terrible sights in the castle horrified them. A dead girl was laying in the main hall, drained of blood, another girl, who had her body pierced, was still alive. In the dungeon they later discovered, were several girls waiting in prison cells, some of whose bodies had been tortured. Below the castle, they found the bodies of some 50 dead girls. This film will serve as a retelling of a legend, rather than a true historical picture, since to this day; most of the facts remain a mystery. The film will chronicle her life, starting at the age of nine; when a band of peasant rebels, led by Doszer, raided Castle Ecsed in 1569. There, Elizabeth watched her sisters get slaughtered right before her eyes.
