More unproduced scripts

Hey Folks,

On the Unproduced Scripts page we have thirty new or revised scripts up.

You might be interested in following the adventures Chris who is a story board artist working on his first script.

Apparently, I’m a spammer. At least that is what my hosting provider thinks. E-mails sent out on my simpyscripts.com domain are kicked back to me as “UBE’s” Unsolicited Bulk Emails. Apparently, some spammer or other party wishing me ill-will has been using simplyscripts.com in their email address whilst sending out spam. The result. The legitimate me can’t get many emails out. So, for those of you who never received the SimplyScripts Newsletter or notification about your script being posted, you may want to check your Junk Mail folder and add ‘webmaster(at)simplyscripts.com to your ‘trusted’ list. I don’t send spam. I do, however, send crappy newsletters. You are always welcome to unsubscribe. Sigh. - Don

Scripts for the One Week Challenge are live!

Time to get reading. The scripts for the One Week Challenge in which writers were asked to write a thriller in a week on the topic of this boat. The entries are in. Check out the scripts and talk about ‘em on the discussion board.

This month’s One Week Challenge is sponsored by:

iScript.com - They turn scripts into mp3s! You upload a script - they record it using professional readers and picky sound editors - you download your iScript! Burn CDs, listen on your iPod, submit it to execs, producers, agents. Now people can hear your script while driving, jogging or relaxing.

Resident Evil Game, Unproduced Scripts and Tick, Tock on the OWC

Resident Evil: Extinction is coming soon to theaters. Up until a couple of years ago, I wasn’t a big fan of the Zombie/Horror genre. I came across George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead on Archive.org and the rest is history. I’ve burned through about all movies of the zombie genre that I can get my hands on. Check out this great public service film What to do in a Zombie Attack. While waiting for the latest Resident Evil movie, play the Resident Evil game.

The world as we know it, no longer exists. The Earth now belongs to the Undead. The key to survival in this new world is to keep moving…

A small resistance survives by scavenging abandoned towns for whatever fuel is still left. With all of the surrounding cities sucked dry of fuel, your only chance of reaching Alaska (and finding other survivors) is to scour Las Vegas for any remaining fuel.

Choose your convoy vehicles and make your way through Las Vegas in search of survivors and fuel. In each level you will be given a mission that describes where you must drive your convoy. Once you’ve reached the mission point, use the weapons you’ve collected to defend your convoy against blood thirsty zombies. Check out the game here.

Over on the Unproduced Scripts page we have eleven new or revised scripts up. I have a few more to get up before I start to unleash the scripts for the One Week Challenge. - Don
