Spec Scout – new site - posted by Don

Here is a new site I ran across.

Spec Scout is a site that combines a script coverage library with a scoring system designed to highlight the highest quality screenplays circulating Hollywood. They prepare coverage on all the recent sales, all the recent scripts to hit the market by agents/managers, and are also leveling the playing field for writers by promoting the highest scoring unrepped material from screenwriting competitions and elsewhere.

If anyone has any experirences with the site, let me know.

Hello, I am not a writer but helped a could of friends to put together scripts they were preparing for small Television movies over a decade ago. It gave me great inspiration to write my own adventure/fantasy story for a big screen movie. I have the script ready in a novel form NOT PUBLISHED. I am looking for someone who is interested to work with me to finalize the script for publication and also produce it for the movie.

    Expired Food by Simon Wiedemann

People explode when they eat expired food. At first the reason why this happens is a mystery, but it becomes apparent that people are dying because the more one says proverbs, the more likely they are to become true. ('You are what you eat' - gone off). Cats also die every time someone is curious. However, a wise old man thinks he knows how to save the world. 52 pages
