How I Met Your Mother teleplay and The Perfect Neighbor script - posted by Don

Thanks to Just A Guy in Hollywood the pilot teleplay of How I Met Your Mother is available to read in PDF format. That, of course, would be on the Teleplay page.

Thanks to Script Chick the draft script to Richard Dana Smith’s The Perfect Stranger (it was filmed as The Perfect Neighbor) script. That, of course, would be on the Movie Scripts page.

Ditto to what one34east says. The “How I Met Your Mother” pilot script isn’t available anymore, and “Just a Guy in Hollywood”‘s whole site seems to be gone, too. If anyone has the HIMYM script, please let us know how to find it! We’d be eternally grateful. Thanks.

    False Pretenses by Steve Meredith

A decade after David Chambers was acquitted of murdering his entire family, newspaper reporter Cooper Reed pays a visit to a man whom he previously thought was dead. That man is Sam Geary, who wrote several articles about the Chambers crime, and came dangerously close to uncovering the truth. Soon after meeting Sam, Cooper is caught in a game of cat and mouse, where the lines between truth, fiction, friend, and enemy, are all blurred. 15 pages
