Movie Poet – July short script winners


MoviePoet.com announces the winners of the July 2010 short script competition. White Out. Keep your pages as white as possible; action and dialogue are limited to two lines at a time.

“Numbers” by Matias Caruso ~ First Place
Two strangers with claircognizant abilities meet at a bar, learning shocking secrets about each other.

“Fleeting Immortality” by Jon Hill ~ Second Place
A murdered woman gains a little supernatural help in her quest for vengeance

“Recital” by Travis DeStein & Paul de Vrijer ~ Third Place
A boy tries to save his grandfather when Death itself comes for them.

Each month, Movie Poet runs a free online five page screenplay contest. On the first of each month a new contest is announced. During that month, you can enter your script. During the next month, you can read, vote, and comment on all the entries. Finally, during the third month, the results are announced.
