Just in Time (was Cupidity) filmed - post author admin

Congratulation to the *new* Mike Shelton (Now with Beard!). His short work Cupidity (6 pages, PDF format) has been filmed as Just in Time. The Cupidity script is available here, and serves as a pretty good example of how a film can go through changes via development and collaboration with a director.

Barry’s got a plan and a line, but is that enough to get him a date?

Board members can hop over here and let Mike know what you think. – Don

The end of the year marked with 32 original scripts - post author admin

Apologies for the lack of updates. If you are a follower of the Discussion Board you will see that I’ve posted up a few unproduced scripts every few days. All the scripts posted over the last couple of weeks are now available over on the Unproduced Scripts page. Of the 32 scripts available for your reading there is Cornetto’s The Fairy that wouldn’t Fly which is about (wait for it) a fairy that wouldn’t fly. Zack has Red Snow a short, historical horror piece that takes place in 1939 Germany where the hunters become hunted. And there is Xavier’s short Gunslinger: An Old Time Hitman which is based upon his longer short Gunslinger. It is a western and there are guns in it.

Not doing it for you? There are more. A lot more over on the Unproduced Scripts page. You can also go back to the previous weeks scripts or the week before that for more. You could go back to nearly Five Years of original works posted to the ‘net if you wanted to.

Best wishes to all in the New Year and Good Luck with your work. – Don

Sixty original scripts - post author admin

Major script dump on the Unproduced Scripts page. I’ve gotten up a couple week’s backlog and still have a bit to go. If you are keen on reading the latest original unproduced works from writer’s on the ‘net, you might want to check out the Unproduced section of the Discussion Board. Most of the new works posted appear on the discussion board several days before appear on the Unproduced Scripts page.

There is Praveen’s Gold Runners a short where two men find themselves in the middle of a drug deal gone horribly wrong, a mob war, and a hunt for stolen gold.

Jayrex has a short The Envelope where Joe receives bad news that tips him over the edge.

Elwood, McClung, Shelton and Wiebe have their short anthology Buckets of Blood part II which are several horror shorts which I suspect are NOT about butterflies and daisies, unless the butterflies and daisies are spurting blood. [Seriously, folks. Do not come to me all pissed off because you read Buckets of Blood and were all freaked out at the horror and carnage. Generally speaking the title and the log line are a pretty good indication of what you are getting into.]

Not grooving to any of this? There are fifty-seven more waiting for you on the Unproduced Scripts page. – Don
