Thanks to Trevor for the heads up on the “Raiders Story Conference Transcript” (7MB in PDF format). This 125 page transcript documents the five day story conference in 1978 between Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Lawrence Kasdan for a little film called Raiders of the Lost Ark.
If you don’t want to download the transcript (it is hosted on a “sendspace” site), I’d highly recommend Mystery Man’s blog post where he has a number of excerpts from the transcript and commentary on the discussion from which he gleens 10 Screenwriting Lessons. – Don
