52 Weeks, 52 Screenplays - post author admin

This is a neat idea. Pick 52 popular, award-winning, influential screenplays and read and blog on one a week for a year. That is what 52Screenplays.com has done. His first script for review is 2001 A Space Odyssey.

For other “top” screenplays, you can also check out the WGA Top 101 Scripts – Don

Transformers Script makes another appearance on the ‘net. - post author admin

Thanks to Chris for the second heads up that an early draft of Transformers has made an appearance on the ‘net, again. Written by John Rogers with revisions by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (in IMDB it has John Rogers as contributing only the story with Alex and Roberto as screenwriters). There is an indirect link on the Movie Scripts Page. – Don

Stagknight - post author admin

Currently in post-production, Stagknight boasts better kills, hotter babes, more laughs and one of the most original horror villains ever seen. The script is up at Horrorlair as well as a number of stills and behind the scene pictures on the set. You can read the script on the Movie Scripts page.

On another note, I am way behind in getting unproduced scripts up. I hope to get a batch of them out tonight. – Don

Transformers! More than meets the eye. Early draft of transformers script – removed - post author admin

Thanks to Chris for the heads up that The Realm Toys has an early, early draft of Transformers up. So early that it is called Prime Directive written by John Rogers with revisions by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (in IMDB it has John Rogers as contributing only the story with Alex and Roberto as screenwriters). If you want to navigate in as Chris directed me, go to The Realm Toys, click on “movies/tv” in the top level nav and then click on the sub page “Peter Cullen is Optimus”. Please do poke around The Realm Toys a bit. They got a new look up. Great stuff there. If you don’t want to poke around, just hit the Movie Scripts page and Bob’s your uncle.

Note: Transformers script is not longer available on The Realm Toys. You can, however, read a review of the script at LatinoReview

By the way, Dragon Con is coming up. I won’t be there since I blew this year’s allowance on a week at the beach where I swam, built incredible sand castles (which got washed away by the rising tide, but trust me, they were magnificent) and read His Majesty’s Dragon by Naomi Novik and Pompeii by Robert Harris (yes, I know how it ends… they all die.

Got a Triple Feature going tonight. Can’t decide between Irreversible, Ichi the Killer or Freeway? Have “Trip F” give you a hand. Short reviews to help you decide what rent to watch. – Don
