Thanks to “No One” and Daily Script read this draft of Marc Klein’s screenplay to Peter Mayle’s Book, A Good Year wherein a British investment broker inherits his uncle’s chateau and vineyard in Provence, where he spent much of his childhood. update: Dailyscript and “Donovan late of FMA” both point out that there are, in fact, two different drafts of A Good Year – one would be an early draft dated April, 2005 and the other would be a September, 2005 revised draft. “Donovan late of FMA” writes, Just letting you know, what you have online isn’t two halves of the same screenplay, it’s two (complete) drafts of the same screenplay. “Part One” is an early draft of A Good Year, while “Part Two” is some sort of revised production draft. But they’re both around 120 pages. I can understand you not opening the files to check anyway, it’s a boring film.

Donovan is right, I hadn’t opened the second one, yet. I’m still making may way through the first file. Thus far, I’ve found it charming and I’m still inclined to see this film even for nothing more than views of Provence and wine making. – Don
