Watchmen scripts - post author admin

Thanks to “David” for the heads up on these three fantastic finds on the ‘net. Watchmen Comic Movie.com has scored three two different drafts of the upcoming Watchmen movie. Granted, the 1989 Sam Hamm version has been floating around the ‘net for ages.

Watchmen (Alex Tse) – 2006 draft script by Alex Tse – hosted by: Watchmen Comic Movie.com – in pdf format

Watchmen (David Hayter) – 2003 unproduced draft script by David Hayter – hosted by: Watchmen Comic Movie.com – in pdf format

Watchmen (Sam Hamm) – 1989 unproduced draft script by Sam Hamm – hosted by: Watchmen Comic Movie.com – in pdf format

In a gritty and alternate 1985 the glory days of costumed vigilantes have been brought to a close by a government crackdown, but after one of the masked veterans is brutally murdered an investigation into the killer is initiated. The reunited heroes set out to prevent their own destruction, but in doing so discover a deeper and far more diabolical plot. Based on WATCHMEN, the best-selling, highly-influential, critically-acclaimed 1987 graphic novel written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons.

Night of the Comet transcript - post author admin

I was cruising Joblo.com’s Top 10 Movie Cheerleaders when I came across this fantastic site for the 80’s cult classic Night of the Comet. Night of the Comet was one of the quintessential 80’s movies with big hair and shoulder pads. I was delighted to find an excellent transcript (not script ) of the movie on the download page. It is in PDF format and very well done. For those of you not well versed in Night of the Comet, it is about Two girls from the Valley wake up to find that a passing comet has eradicated their world and left behind a mysterious red-dust and a pack of cannibal mutants. With the help of a friendly truck driver, the girls save the earth from a villainous “think tank,” karate chop their way through flesh-eating zombies, and, of course, find time to go to the mall.

You can find this and other excellent transcripts (they are decents reads and follow the movie dialogu exactly) on the Movie Transcripts page. – Don
