LINES, a 2020 Writer’s Tournament script, makes its official premiere at the Virtual UCLAx Film Festival in a couple of weeks.
For those that enjoy festivals, this one is entirely online. You can get tickets at the following link, as well as watch a trailer for the festival. (There are several shots from LINES in the trailer, though you won’t know which they are!)
Also, you’ll have the opportunity to vote for LINES for the Audience Choice Award! (Should we earn your vote. Which I hope we will.)

The Challenge: Write a 3-6 page properly formatted screenplay depicting some sort of global (or natural) disaster. Open genre. Here’s the catch… This story must be told from a found footage perspective.

‘Bad Connection’ follows a down-on-her-luck waitress, played by Dana Davis (“Prom Night” “The Morning Show”, “The Rookie”) who discovers a snuff film on the stolen cell phone she purchased.
