The main character will be a 17-year-old girl who has psychological problems and tries to overcome them, the girl also tries to understand why the world treats people so harshly, the girl also meets a girl her age who wants to kill herself. Certainly Kaufmanesque, however may be slightly self-indulgent. Just when I thought I had my finger on what the film was about, it shifted into something else. Entirely.
I don’t know how I feel about that, yet. What I do know is I haven’t seen anything like it.
PS- Those that believe the concept is a rehash of 8 1/2 are completely wrong.

Hi, I played the film backwards and I found it to be superbly palindromic. A story that presents Kaufman as playwright / Vermeer like artist (with visible simbolism, such as Samantha Morton in her headband), settled into his middle class environment, yet poverty stricken and full of self revilement.
I love it. The more I study it, the more I find to study.
