MoviePoet.com announces the winners of the September 2009 short script competition. Weave a tale of horror, but make sure your killer or monster is female.

An old friend delivers a special gift in honor of a deceased friend.

Each month, Movie Poet runs a free online five page screenplay contest. On the first of each month a new contest is announced. During that month, you can enter your script. During the next month, you can read, vote, and comment on all the entries. Finally, during the third month, the results are announced.

    A financially broke female American teacher gets lured into the business of drug smuggling and travels to Pakistan to smuggle drugs back to US. She gets caught with drugs at Pakistani Airport. She very dramatically escapes from the authorities and vanishes in a densely populated country. The question is how long can she stay on the run without money or passport in a country full of strangers? 125 pages
