Melanie's Magic Stones by Denis Daloisio

(Adventure, Family, Fantasy) - This is a family film for "children" of all ages. It begins with Melanie Mills, age ten, playing a game of fetch with her two year old terrier in the torn up back yard of the home her parents have just purchased. During the game of fetch, her dog, Pepper, unearths an old bottle from the ground. Melanie inspects it and discovers it contains some small stones. Upon closer examination, she finds a worn label on the small bottle. It reads, in essence, that the stones inside are of magic quality and are apparently almost three hundred years old. (fdr)
