We FADE IN on SPACE. Slowly, the camera moves through the stars as we hear the 
voice of KRILLIK ALKAR. 

KRILLIK
When people look to the future, the most common thing they see is a bright and 
beautiful future. They see a future with flying cars and super-powered robots. 

We FLASH CUT to exactly what Krillik speaks of, flying cars and super-powered 
robots. 

KILLIK
I'm here to tell them they're wrong. 

A FLASH OF LIGHT and we CUT to a series of images showing a DRASTICALLY 
different future. This future is a DIRTY and DEPRESSING future. 

KRILLIK 
The year 2028 is nothing but a dishevled mess of decaying buildings and 
psychotic lunatics. The future--your bright and beautiful future--is just as 
shitty as the past. The only thing that has changed is religion. In 2015, all 
religion was abolished. From top to bottom, it was declared that all religion 
is dead. There was no God, no heaven...nothing. The only thing above that blue 
blanket of clouds was just that...clouds. Or so they said. The real point is 
that only one religion exists now...Alpha. The only god you're allowed to 
believe in is the Alpha God. If you don't follow the ways of Alpha...

FLASH CUT to a MAN falling to the ground. The man has a bullet in his head.

KRILLIK
(cont'd)
...you die. According to the governments and higher-ups, this is the religion 
we all must follow. According to them, it will keep the peace. I think they're 
wrong. Ironic that they say this religion will keep the peace...and all it did 
was cause chaos. 

We FLASH CUT to a series of images showing a LARGE BUILDING, the ALPHA 
PROTECTION AGENCY to be more precise.

KRILLIK
I am Krillik Alkar. I'm an officer for the APA, Alpha Protection Agency. Our 
main goal is to make sure people have faith in the Alpha God. I can't say I 
agreed with the whole Alpha God thing, but my back was against the wall.

FADE OUT. 

The MAIN TITLES begin to display over the DARKNESS.

As they come to a close, we FADE TO a DECAYING and DIRTY apartment building. 

EXT. APARTMENT BUILDING - MID-DAY

A JET BLACK CAR pulls up outside the building. The doors open and THREE MEN in 
RED and BLUE outfits exit. They are Krillik, DARAS RAO and CAILA ONARA. 

Krillik is about 6'1 with LONG WHITE HAIR. Daras is about 6'1 with LONG BLUE 
HAIR. Caila is about 6'2 with SHORT BLACK HAIR. 

They all make their way to the building. 

INT. APARTMENT BUILDING, APARTMENT 3B

A MAN by the name of LARS SURA cowers in the corner. He shivers with fright, 
knowing that the APA is coming for him. There is a tense silence until Lars 
takes off. He comes out into the hallway and hears Krillik and his partners 
coming up the stairs. He takes off the opposite way.

INT. APARTMENT 3F

He bursts into a FEMALE'S apartment and hides here.

INT. APARTMENT 3B

Krillik kicks the door open, sending Daras and Caila in. They enter the 
apartment and begin tearing stuff up, searching for him. Krillik enters and 
looks around as Caila and Daras tear the place up. After a moment, Daras walks 
up to him.

DARAS
He's not here.

They hear a DOOR SLAM from outside. Krillik rushes out to see Lars gunning 
down the stairs which lead out of the apartment building. Krillik looks back 
into his apartment to Daras and Caila.

KRILLIK
I've got him...

INT. FRONT HALL

As Lars makes his way down to the front desk, he looks up and sees Krillik 
leaping over the stairs. Krillik lands directly in front of him and delivers a 
STIFF KICK to the chest of Lars. As Lars lays here, Krillik pulls out his 
HANDGUN. The APA doesn't use some sort of futuristic laser guns, they just use 
normal handguns.
 
KRILLIK
Lars Sura, since you have shown no belief in the Alpha God, you are to be 
terminated immediately. Non-believers are not tolerated. May the Alpha God 
have mercy on your soul.

Krillik points the gun and fires two shots, SPLATTERING blood against the 
wall. Krillik holsters his gun as Daras and Caila walk down the stairs. They 
both look to Krillik, but only Daras speaks.

DARAS
What should we do with the body?

KRILLIK
Leave it. The Alpha God will do what he wishes to it.

Krillik exits, but stops when Caila speaks up.

CAILA
You still believe the Alpha God is a male?

KRILLIK
Until I see further proof, I'll believe only what I wish to. 

INT. KRILLIK'S APARTMENT

Krillik enters his apartment and sees his wife, NAYLA ALKAR. Krillik and Nayla 
embrace, but Krillik is the one who is holding tighter. Nayla takes note of 
this.

NAYLA
What's wrong? 

KRILLIK
This charade. I can't keep it up any longer. How long is it going to go on 
until they find out my true beliefs. Me being part of the APA won't help 
matters, either. 

They break from the embrace.

NAYLA
Krillik, you're not a bad person. In fact, you're the most honest person I 
know. In all of this hypocricy, you're the only one who's saying that all this 
is bullshit.

KRILLIK
But there's you, too.

Nayla smiles.

NAYLA
Yes. But you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. What can you do to stop this?

KRILLIK
I know the Alpha God does not exist. It isn't possible. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
But if the Alpha God does exist, I have betrayed him. I will have been the one 
who was blind.

A silence is shared between them until Krillik kisses Nayla, then walks off.

INT. APA HEADQUARTERS, KLAR RAM'S OFFICE

We see KLAR RAM, the current leader of the APA, sitting in his chair. As he 
sits here, there is a knock on the door.

KLAR
Come...

The door opens and Krillik enters. He stands in front of Klar and salutes. 

KLAR
Krillik, how can I help you?

KRILLIK
I have a question. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
Has there ever been a...mutiny?

KLAR
A mutiny?

KRILLIK
A betrayal...someone who didn't believe in the Alpha God.

Klar rises from his seat and half-smiles.

KLAR
Yes...once. His name was Domar Vika. He was always one to point out the holes 
and inconcistencies in the Alpha God legends despite there never being any. As 
time went on, he grew further and further apart from the Alpha God. He began 
sharing prophecies and visions of his own.

A beat.

KRILLIK
What prophecies?

KLAR
He said that on October 24th, 2028, Rymar would rise up and destroy the Alpha 
God. 

KRILLIK
That's three days from now.

KLAR
I woudln't mark it on my calender. Anyway, he went on and on with all this 
until he finally left the APA. He sought refuge on Varana Six. We sent a squad 
of soldiers, but they couldn't find him.

A beat.

KRILLIK
Why haven't I heard about this?

KLAR
You don't expect us to tell our soldiers everything, right?

Krillik smirks.

KRILLIK
I guess not. 

A beat.

KLAR
Why the interest?

KRILLIK
No reason. I was just...curious...

KLAR
Is that all you needed?

KRILLIK 
Yes, sir.

KLAR
(smiling)
Fine. 

KRILLIK
(V.O.)
If he's still on Varana Six, it's possible I could--

INT. KRILLIK'S APARTMENT

KRILLIK
(cont'd)
--find him and get his help.

Krillik sits with Nayla.

NAYLA 
Are you sure about this? Varana Six is all the way in the Taai system.

KRILLIK
I'm sure. It's something I need to do. If I can find this Domar Vika guy, I 
might be able to get some answers.

A silence.

EXT. VARANA SIX - NIGHT

A SMALL SPACE CRUISER glides toward Varana Six. The cruiser belongs to 
Krillik.

INT. COCKPIT

As Krillik overlooks the planet, the ship's computer begins speaking. The 
voice of the computer is FEMALE, but CHILD LIKE. It sounds innocent. The 
computer's name is JENNY. The voice of the child should be enough to make the 
audience automatically fall in love with the character. The audience should 
relate to her right from the start.

JENNY
Where are we going, Krillik?

KRILLIK
Varana Six.

JENNY
Why?

KRILLIK
To find someone.

JENNY
Who?

KRILLIK
Someone important.

EXT. VARANA SIX - NIGHT

As the ship draws closer, a SMALL BLUE CRUISER zips past Krillik's ship and 
sits directly behind him. It begins firing lasers at Krillik. What follows is 
an exciting and fast chase through the planet. It goes on for a while until 
the ship rams into Krillik's, knocking him off course and onto the planet. 

Varana Six is a DUSTY and SAND-FILLED planet. 

Krillik's ship skids across the ground and halts here. The cockpit opens and 
Krillik exits, looking around for the ship. Without warning, a MAN in a BLACK 
CLOAK leaps up and tackles Krillik. They tumble across the dirt until Krillik 
kicks him off. The rise and run at each other. 

Krillik ducks the punch and kicks the man in the knee, then delivers a hard 
right hand to his stomach.
Krillik swings, but misses. The man knees him in the gut and kicks him in the 
chest. The man runs at Krillik, who front flips over him and kicks him in the 
back. As the man rises, Krillik quickly pulls out his handgun and points it 
directly at the man's face. In this tense stand-off, the man pulls the cloak 
off of his head, revealing a man with LONG BLONDE HAIR. This is DOMAR VIKA. 

DOMAR
Why have you come to my planet?

KRILLIK
I'm looking for someone.

DOMAR
There's no one on this planet but me.

Krillik lowers his gun and holsters it.

KRILLIK
Domar Vika?

Domar is confused.

DOMAR
How do you know my name?

KRILLIK
I'm Krillik Alkar. I work for the APA.

DOMAR
I see. So Klar sent you here after me, huh?

KRILLIK
No. I came here by myself...for answers...

DOMAR
I stopped answering questions years ago.

Domar turns and puts his hood back on. 

DOMAR
But I can make an exception. Follow me. 

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

The hut is filled with pictures from Domar's days in the APA. Domar throws his 
cloak on the chair, revealing the various SCARS and CUTS on his body. He sits 
down and looks to Krillik with a grin.

DOMAR
So why did you come here?

KRILLIK
I need answers. I need to know if the Alpha God exists.

DOMAR
Yes, he does. He does exist. However, there also exists another god. He's 
taken on various names in the past. The Devil, Satan, you name it. The Alpha 
God is no different. He was once the God that was worshiped in the bible of 
years past. But just like human beings, evolution took over and he was given a 
new name over the years. Satan evolved into Rymar just as God evolved into the 
Alpha God. 

KRILLIK
So they've just changed the names of the Devil and God?

DOMAR
Correct.

A beat.

KRILLIK
How do you know all of this?

DOMAR
I know because I must. There's no other explanation to give you. Even if I 
wanted to give you an explanation, I couldn't. I just know. I was born with 
this knowledge. 

KRILLIK
So then there is a war coming?

DOMAR
Absolutely. The war between the Alpha God and Rymar is closing fast. In only 
three days-- 

Domar stops and looks outside, it is now the morning of the next day. He 
corrects himself.

DOMAR
(cont'd)
--two days, the fate of the world will be at stake. 
   
KRILLIK
Why?

DOMAR
If, by some chance, Rymar wins this battle, he will be unstoppable...no one 
will be able to stop him. The Alpha God's son is not only his son, he's his 
protector. Without his son, the Alpha God becomes weak. The Alpha God won't be 
able to, normal human beings such as myself and you won't be able to. The very 
existence of human life rests with the Alpha God. 

A beat.

DOMAR
Well, sort of...

KRILLIK
What do you mean?

DOMAR
Surely you've thought of a war between God and the Devil?

Krillik nods.

DOMAR
How do you think a battle like that would be fought?

A beat.

DOMAR
Their sons.

KRILLIK
Sons?

DOMAR
The son of the Alpha God and the son of Rymar will do the battle, not the gods 
themselves. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
And who are the sons?

DOMAR
Now that's something I do not know. If someone had all the answers, problems 
like this would cease to be. The only thing we can do from here is to 
wait...and hope...

EXT. VARANA SIX - NIGHT

We FADE TO a beautiful ESTABLISHING SHOT of Varana Six before FADING OUT.

SCREEN CAPTION
October 20th, 2028. Two Days Remain.
 
FADE IN.

INT. APA HEADQUARTERS, KLAR'S OFFICE

Daras and Caila sit in Klar's office.

KLAR
You haven't seen him?

DARAS
Not since yesterday. 

KLAR
What about Nayla?

CAILA
I suppose she could know.

KLAR
I want to know where he is. Him asking me about mutiny and then suddenly 
disappearing doesn't sit well with me.

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Krillik looks at various of Domar's pictures as Domar loads all of his weapons 
with ammunition. Krillik takes note of a picture with Domar and an ATTRACTIVE 
YOUNG WOMAN.

KRILLIK
Who's this?

DOMAR
That's...my wife...

A beat.

DOMAR
...Aria...

KRILLLIK
She's beautiful.

DOMAR
Thank you.

Domar lowers his head.

DOMAR
She...died. 

KRILLIK
Oh...I...uh...

Domar half smiles.

DOMAR
It's okay.

A beat.

DOMAR
She was...the most...beautiful woman I had ever seen. She was always 
smiling...always happy and full of life. Her spirit...her hope...was never 
down. Six years ago, she was diagnosed with a rare virus.

Domar's eyes begin to water up.

DOMAR
It just kept eating away at her...and at me. She fought for two straight years 
before she died. She died right in my arms. But she shouldn't have been taken. 
She shouldn't have been taken away.

A tear streams down Domar's cheek. He quickly wipes it away as if not to let 
Krillik see that he's crying.

DOMAR
She was good...and gentle...and she never hurt anyone. 

Domar looks directly at Krillik.

DOMAR
If you have someone special, Krillik, don't let her go. It can happen in an 
instant...the snap of a finger. 

A pause is shared between them until Domar breaks it.

DOMAR
So...do you have someone special?

A beat.

KRILLIK
Yes. Her name is--

INT. KRILLIK'S APARTMENT

Krillik is interrupted by the sound of Daras screaming.

DARAS
--Nayla!!

Daras is pointing his gun at Nayla.

DARAS
Where is he?! Answer me, god damnit!!

Caila stands in the background, feeling somewhat bad about doing this to 
Nayla. 

DARAS
Tell me where he is!

Nayla doesn't respond. 

DARAS
God damnit!

Daras rises and looks to Caila.

DARAS
You can wait outside.

CAILA
What are you going to do?

DARAS
Just fucking go!!

Caila looks to Nayla, then to Daras. He exits with a look of worry.

EXT. INKAL LAKE, VARANA SIX - MORNING

Krillik and Domar stand in front of the beautiful INKAL LAKE. Inkal Lake is a 
river of BRIGHT RED WATER.
Krillik breaks the silence.

KRILLIK
Why is the river red?

DOMAR
I don't know. It's been red since I got here. I wondered that too.

A beat.

DOMAR
What's your computer's name? 

KRILLIK
What?

DOMAR
Your computer. Don't tell me the APA has stopped naming computers?

A beat.

KRILLIK
Jenny.

A slight pause.

KRILLIK
It's named after my daughter. She died during child birth. 

DOMAR
I'm sorry.

Krillik nods.

DOMAR
I always wanted to have children. It was something I wanted since I was a kid, 
but I realize now how hard it would've been for that child to deal with their 
mother's death. 

A beat.

DOMAR
It took a bit of damage back there, you should check it out.

INT. KRILLIK'S SHIP, COCKPIT

The cockpit opens and Krillik turns the power on. Jenny greets him.

JENNY
Hello, Krillik.

KRILLIK
Hi, Jenny. How's the ship?

JENNY
It's a little banged up, but it should be alright. Did you find the man you 
were searching for?

KRILLIK
Yes.

JENNY
Good. Can we go home now, Krillik? 

KRILLIK
Soon, Jenny. Soon.

INT. HALLWAY, OUTSIDE OF KRILLIK'S APARTMENT

Caila stands outside for a moment until the door opens. Daras exits.

DARAS
Varana Six. He's looking for Domar Vika. 

Daras gives a glance back inside the apartment, then heads off.

CAILA
What did you do to her?

DARAS
What I had to.

Caila looks inside the apartment and sees Nayla with various BRUISES on her 
face, as well as a BLOODIED NOSE. Caila smiles to her, and she smiles back.

INT. KRILLIK'S SHIP, COCKPIT

Krillik works on the ship as Jenny speaks.

JENNY
Krillik?

KRILLIK
Yes?

JENNY
Do you know who I like?

KRILLIK
Who?

JENNY
That woman...Nayla. Is she your girlfriend?

KRILLIK
She's my wife, Jenny. I'm glad you like her.

JENNY
I wish I had someone like that. Someone who loved me.

KRILLIK
You do, Jenny. I do.

JENNY
No, I mean someone like a boyfriend.

A beat.

KRILLIK
I tell you what, Jenny, I'll be your boyfriend. 

Almost as if reacting to this, the ship lights up with a BRIGHT GREEN LIGHT.

JENNY
Really? You'd be my boyfriend? But isn't that wrong? 

KRILLIK
No, Jenny, I'm a different kind of boyfriend.

JENNY
How?

KRILLIK
Me being husband to Nayla is different than being boyfriend to you. 

JENNY
You mean it?

KRILLIK
Yes.

JENNY
I love you, Krillik.

Krillik smiles.

KRILLIK
I love you too, Jenny.

JENNY
Wow. I've never heard someone say it back to me before.

INT. APA HEADQUARTER'S, KLAR'S OFFICE

Daras and Caila stand in front of Klar's desk.

KLAR
Varana Six? 

Klar becomes angered.

KLAR
He's looking for Domar. 

A beat.

KLAR
Kill them both.

DARAS
But they--

KLAR
(interrupting)
Just...do it.

Daras and Caila begin to exit, but Klar stops them.

KLAR
Wait...

They turn.

KLAR
Send Otaro instead. 

Daras and Caila look to eachother, then to Klar.

EXT. INKAL LAKE, VARANA SIX - DAY

Domar overlooks the lake as Krillik walks up to him.

KRILLIK
I wanna ask you something.

Domar doesn't turn to face him.

DOMAR
Go ahead.

A beat.

KRILLIK
Are you Rymar's son?

DOMAR
(turning around)
What?

KRILLIK
You just seem to know a little too much unless you're heavily involved.

DOMAR
What are you talking about? Rymar is a vicious, brutal being who--

KRILLIK
(interrupting)
And how would you know all this unless you were somehow involved with him?

A beat.

DOMAR
I don't appreciate being interrogated like this.

KRILLIK
It's not an interrogation...it's just a question.

DOMAR
And I have an answer. No.

Domar walks off towards his hut.

INT. APA HEADQUARTERS, KLAR'S OFFICE

As Klar sits in his office, the door opens. Klar connects eyes with someone 
OFF-SCREEN. 

KLAR
I figured you'd already be at Varana Six.
 
The CAMERA shifts away and we get a CLOSE-UP on OTARO TAKESHI, a beautiful 
JAPANESE assassin. She is armed to the teeth with KNIVES attatched to her 
elbows, as well as THROWING KNIVES attatched to various HOLSTERS. She also has 
dual pistols on either side of her waist. 

OTARO
(in Japanese subtitled)
I wanted to make sure you were confident in this decision.

KLAR
You know I prefer your English over your Japanese.

Otaro smiles and begins speaking in English. 

OTARO
So you're sure?

KLAR
Absolutely. I don't care who they are. They die.

OTARO
It could be a foolish decision, you know? The last thing you want to do is 
upset the Alpha God by killing his child. 

KLAR
It makes no difference to me. They'll just need some other way to fight their 
battles. Maybe they could fight the battle themselves instead of hiding behind 
their children.

OTARO
Agreed. So you're positive, then?

KLAR
Have I ever been wrong before?

Otaro exits, but answers Klar's question on the way out.

OTARO
Yes. 

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Domar sits on his bed as Krillik enters. A slight pause is shared until 
Krillik breaks it.

KRILLIK
I'm...sorry about before. It's just that...all of this is so confusing. I 
mean, this shit is just crazy. 

DOMAR
I know. It can really take it's toll on you.

Domar rises.

DOMAR
Listen, just forget about before. It's done...it's in the past.

A beat.

DOMAR
Have you ever heard the story of Tarax?

KRILLIK
No.

DOMAR
Tarax was an ancient god of the Taai civilization. The system this planet is 
in is named after him. Anyway, Tarax had many followers, but the one he truly 
cared about was named Oraa. Tarax and Oraa were joined together by a common 
bond, the deaths of their wives and children. Their friendship grew for ten 
years until something terrible happened.

KRILLIK
What?

DOMAR
Tarax was told that a traitor was among his ranks. He was also told that the 
traitor was someone he knew, someone he trusted. Despite many warnings, he 
wouldn't believe that Oraa was the one. It was only a matter of time before 
they were split apart...became mortal enemies. It finally came to a head when 
the battle between them erupted. It spread across many planets and worlds. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
Who won?

DOMAR
To be blunt; Oraa. He had brutally beaten Tarax to death in the heat of the 
battle. 

KRILLIK
So...the bad guy won?

DOMAR
Not exactly. The real point of the story is that Oraa wasn't the traitor. In 
fact, there was no traitor. The only thing that split them apart was paranoia, 
not betrayal. 

A long pause is shared between them. Domar breaks it.

DOMAR
(standing up)
Well, it's getting late, we should probably get some sleep. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
Domar...

Domar turns to him.

KRILLIK
...I want you to know that I hope we don't become like Oraa and Tarax.

Domar smiles thinly.

DOMAR
I don't either.

EXT. DOMAR'S HUT - NIGHT

We STEADY on the hut and FADE OUT.
 
SCREEN CAPTION
October 23rd, 2028. One Day Remains.

FADE IN.

EXT. SPACE

A SMALL WHITE CRUISER flies past the screen.

INT. COCKPIT

Otaro sits in the cockpit. We STEADY on her face before FADING to a shot of 
Nayla. There is a BRIGHT WHITE HUE surrounding the SCREEN. 

The camera SWINGS up her body to her face. The camera then SWINGS upward where 
we see a FULL SHOT of her. As she lays on seemingly thin air, a RIVER OF BLOOD 
begins to form around her. She begins to fall toward the river. 

She splashes into the river. The splash sends the blood upward into the screen 
as we SMASH CUT to Krillik rising up from sleeping in Domar's hut.
 
KRILLIK
NO!!

He looks around as Domar wakes up as well.

DOMAR
What's wrong?

Krillik is in shock, not sure what to make out of the dream.

KRILLIK
I...I saw Nayla...

DOMAR
Your wife?

He nods.

KRILLIK
She...was falling towards a river...it was a river of blood. I...

A beat.

KRILLIK
I have to go get her. 

DOMAR
Now? 

KRILLIK
Yes. I'll be back. And once I'm back...

A beat. 

The stare they give each other is almost like silent communication. They give 
a nod, then Krillik exits. Domar watches him exit, then rises. He kneels down 
and extends his hand forward. A BRIGHT RED LIGHT begins to emit from it. 
Slowly, it forms into the shape of a MAN. This man is about 6'4 with LONG 
BROWN HAIR. He is RYMAR. Rymar looks to Domar, his son, with a grin.

RYMAR
Domar, my son, what is your progress?

DOMAR
We've hit a snag. He has gone. 

RYMAR
Where?

DOMAR
For his wife.

RYMAR
Why has he done this?

DOMAR
To protect her. He thinks bringing her here would be safe.

RYMAR
The son of the Alpha God has taken a wife.

DOMAR
Speaking of which, I'm interested to know how it has been concealed from him 
so many years.

RYMAR
The Alpha God was intent on my destruction, but he knew that the 
responsibility would be too much even for the son of the Alpha God. Planting 
false memories is something we should all learn. 

A beat.

RYMAR
Krillik has no idea how powerful he is. The strength which is inside his body 
is phenomenal. I've always envied the Alpha God for that.

DOMAR
I am stronger though, right?

RYMAR
Of course. He is no match for you.

DOMAR
I want to kill him now.

RYMAR
It looks like someone has already taken your place.

EXT. VARANA SIX - MORNING

Krillik heads for his ship. As he nears it--

THWIP!!!

Krillik hears this sound and jumps to attention. A KNIFE lands SWIFTLY inside 
the ground in front of him. He turns just as Otaro leaps out from seemingly 
out of nowhere and begins hurling knives at him. Krillik takes off as the 
knives stick in the dirt behind him.

Krillik leaps forward and pulls out his handgun just as Otaro hurls a knife. 
He turns in mid-air and points the gun.

BLAM!!

The bullet flies forward and connects with the knife, veering it off course. 
Krillik lands and rolls into a crouched position. He points the weapon at her. 
Otaro walks forward while HURLING knives at Krillik. Krillik steps back while 
shooting, KNOCKING the knives away. Otaro finally sees her opening and flips 
forward.

She lands directly behind him, but Krillik is ready and elbows her directly in 
the face. She stumbles back as Krillik turns and points his gun at her.

CLICK!!

Otaro spins and kicks the gun away and unsheathes a KNIFE.

SLICE!!

Otaro slices into his face. The BLOOD drips from Krillik's face and onto the 
ground as Otaro kicks him in the chest. Krillik lands on the ground as Otaro 
unholsters both pistols. She aims them both directly at him.

OTARO
I have no--

Krillik doesn't even let her finish. He kicks one gun away across the area as 
Otaro fires a shot from the other gun. It misses and Krillik kicks her away. 
Krillik grabs her wrist and kicks her in the stomach, knocking her back and 
forcing her to drop the gun on the ground. Krillik tries a punch, but Otaro 
grabs his hand and kicks him HARD in the stomach.

Otaro swings, but Krillik ducks and UPPERCUTS her. She stumbles back as 
Krillik tries for a right hand. Otaro ducks and performs a STIFF KICK to 
Krillik's face. Otaro walks over and picks up one of her guns. She aims it at 
him.

KRILLIK
Who are you?

OTARO
I am Otaro Takeshi. I have been sent by the APA.

KRILLIK
What do you want?

A beat.

OTARO
Your life. A simple request, don't you think?

KRILLIK
Why do they want to kill me?

OTARO
Because you are--

Domar finishes the sentace from OFF SCREEN.

DOMAR
(off-screen)
--the son of the Alpha God.

Krillik looks to Domar with confusion.

KRILLIK
What?

DOMAR
(to Otaro)
Go ahead, tell him. Tell him about the Alpha God planting false memories in 
his own son.

Otaro looks to Domar, then to Krillik.

OTARO
This is true. You are the son of the Alpha God.

KRILLIK
That's impossible. My father died when I was thirteen.

OTARO
Stop being so close-minded. You need to think outside of your own world for 
once. 

DOMAR
The Alpha God was soley focused on one thing...my father's destruction. 

KRILLIK
Your father?

A beat.

KRILLIK
Rymar?

Domar nods.

KRILLIK
You betrayed me! You said you weren't involved with him!

DOMAR
The battle between the son of the Alpha God and the son of Rymar is closing 
fast, but I see no reason to delay the progress...no reason to slow the 
evolution.

OTARO
No. I have strict orders to kill him. I must kill him.

DOMAR
(smiling)
You? You have no idea how powerful he is. The abilites and powers that both of 
us have stored inside our bodies is monumental. Flight, strength...

KRILLIK
Flight? I can't fly?

DOMAR
You've just not explored it. In short, you and I are the living Superman of 
this century. We're a comic book come to life. Your primitive firearms and 
blades against either of us is a lopsided contest.
  
A beat.

OTARO
Let's find out...

Otaro hurls a knife out of nowhere. Domar raises his hand SWIFTLY and catches 
the knife by the BLADE. He holds the knife for a moment before grinning.

DOMAR
Nice try.

Domar hurls it back quickly, the knife sticking in Otaro's throat. She 
stumbles back as the blood TRICKLES down her throat. She falls to her knees, 
then falls on her stomach, dead. Domar looks to Otaro's dead body, then to 
Krillik.

KRILLIK
You lied to me. You lied right to my face.

DOMAR
So what...

KRILLIK
You're a sonofabitch...

DOMAR
(smiling)
Yes. I am.

A beat.

KRILLIK
I have to check on Nayla.

DOMAR
I won't stop you, but you do know that tomorrow is the day, right? Tomorrow is 
October 24th, 2028. 

KRILLIK
I'm not fighting you.

DOMAR
You'll change your mind.

KRILLIK
You probably made up everything. Your wife, your time in the APA. Hell, you 
probably made up that story about Tarax and Oraa.

DOMAR
No. I did have a wife, and she did die. I was in the APA. I infiltrated the 
orginization under direct orders from my father. And the Tarax and Oraa story 
is true. The only thing I actually lied about was who my father was. 

Krillik turns and heads for his ship.

INT. COCKPIT

Krillik enters the ship as Jenny speaks up.

JENNY
Where are we going, Krillik?

KRILLIK
Home.

JENNY
Is your friend coming?

KRILLIK
No. He's not my friend.

JENNY
Why?

KRILLIK
Because he's not who I thought he was. I thought he was my friend, but he's 
betrayed me. I have go home to see Nayla.

A beat.

KRILLIK
I hope she's okay.

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Domar speaks with Rymar.

RYMAR
It is hard to believe that the day is so close. It seems like it's been an 
eternity waiting.

DOMAR
I am anxiously awaiting tomorrow.

RYMAR
We all are, Domar. The Alpha God's days are numbered. Once you kill Krillik, 
no one will be able to protect him. And believe me, Rymar, you are going to 
win. My expectations of this battle, this...epic battle, are nothing short of 
spectacular. You will make me proud...right?

DOMAR
Absolutely. I have been preparing for this my whole life. I will not let you 
down.

INT. APA HEADQUARTERS, KLAR RAM'S OFFICE

Caila stands in Klar's office.

CAILA
He beat an innocent woman, Klar! I didn't think you would condone something 
like this.

KLAR
I don't, but the need to find Krillik was imperitive. I--

Suddenly, Daras bursts in.

DARAS
Otaro Takeshi is dead!!

KLAR
What?

DARAS
We got a signal from her saying she'd found Domar and Krillik, but when a team 
got there, they found nothing but Otaro's dead body. 

KLAR
Damn.

DARAS
What should we do?

Klar thinks for a moment, then rises from his chair.

KLAR
Get my ship ready, I'm going to Varana Six.

CAILA
Do you really think that's wise?

KLAR
No, but I don't have a choice.

INT. KRILLIK'S APARTMENT 

Krillik enters with a look of worry.

KRILLIK
Nayla?!

No response.

KRILLIK
Nayla?!

Krillik kicks the door open to their bedroom and sees Nayla on their bed. She 
rises up from the bed and looks to Krillik.

NAYLA
Krillik! You're back!

They embrace and share a passionate kiss. Krillik sees the bruises on her face 
and becomes worried.

KRILLIK
What happened?

NAYLA
It was Daras.

KRILLIK
What?

NAYLA
He came looking for you. He...

KRILLIK
Daras did this?

She nods. Krillik becomes angered.

KRILLIK
Alright...so this is how it ends. This is how I finally take down the APA.

A beat.

NAYLA 
Did you find Domar Vika?

KRILLIK
Oh yeah, I found him.

NAYLA
What's wrong?

KRILLIK
I...it's a really long story, and I can't explain it right now. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
Nayla, I'm going to be gone for the rest of today and probably all of 
tomorrow, and unless I'm lucky, I may be gone forever.

NAYLA
Why?

KRILLIK
I can't explain it right now. I don't have enough time. I'm going to take you 
to your mother's, then I'm going to deal with something.

NAYLA
Deal with what?

KRILLIK
Our future...the future that I want us both to have. I'm going to take down 
the APA.

NAYLA
Why?

KRILLIK
Because of the hypocricy that they practice. I have to do it.

EXT. VARANA SIX - DAY

A SMALL SILVER CRUISER speeds into Varana Six. 

INT. COCKPIT

Klar sits in the cockpit. He looks down towards Varana Six.

KLAR
(quietly, to himself)
I know you're down there, Domar. 

EXT. VARANA SIX - DAY

The cruiser heads for Varana Six.

EXT. APA HEADQUARTERS - DAY

Krillik steps into the FRAME and looks up at the APA Headquarters. He clenches 
his hand into a balled fist and walks forward.

INT. APA HEADQUARTERS

As the APA seems somewhat busy, Krillik enters. He overlooks the place as 
Caila spots him. Caila runs over to him.

CAILA
Krillik? What have you been doing?

Krillik doesn't even answer Caila's question, he just asks his own.

KRILLIK
Did you know?

CAILA
Know what?

Krillik grabs Caila in anger and slams him against the wall. He gets an 
obvious reaction from everyone, as they stop and look at the activity.

KRILLIK
You know what I'm talking about you bastard! Did you or did you not know I was 
the son of the Alpha God?!

CAILA
Well...yes...I knew...

KRILLIK
And why didn't you tell me?

CAILA
It was my job, Krillik. If I told you, I would have been fired.

KRILLIK 
Why the hell did the APA hire me if they knew who I was?

A beat.

CAILA
Insurance.

KRILLIK
What?

Krillik lowers him down.

CAILA
They obviously knew the war was coming, so the only way to protect anyone is 
to make sure you have the right player on your team...for lack of a better 
phrase...

Krillik backs away from Caila.

KRILLIK
Where's Daras?

CAILA
Daras? What do you want him for?

KRILLIK
If you saw what he did to Nayla, you'd want to kill him, too.

CAILA
Oh...right...

KRILLIK
What to you mean, "Oh...right."?

CAILA 
Well, I didn't see him do it...but I saw the aftermath.

A beat.

KRILLIK
I'm going after him. I want Daras.

CAILA
Come on, Krillik, don't do anything stupid.

KRILLIK
I don't have to worry about doing anything stupid anymore. Tomorrow, the fate 
of the world rests in my hands. If I fail, I at least know I got some 
retribution for Nayla. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
(sternly)
Where is he?

CAILA
He's in Klar's office.

KRILLIK
Klar...that's someone else I wanted to see.

CAILA
He's gone.

KRILLIK
Where?

CAILA
Varana Six. He went looking for Domar. I think the--

Suddenly, a voice on the loud-speaker erupts.

VOICE
Attention! Attention! There is an unwanted subject in the APA headquarters. He 
is considered dangerous. Use any means neccecary.

A beat.

KRILLIK
(to Caila)
If I'm supposed to fight Domar, then why are they trying to kill me?

CAILA
They're stupid enough to think they can fight him themselves.

KRILLIK
Well, I'm not going down until I find Daras. I just need to know one thing.

CAILA
Sure.

KRILLIK
Are you with me?

A beat.

KRILLIK
(sternly)
Are you with me?

A beat.

CAILA
Yes. I'm with you all the way. 

KRILLIK
Good.

From upstairs, a LARGE amount of SECURITY GUARDS begin to file in. These 
security guards are dressed in all BLACK uniforms. They all carry M4 RIFLES. 

KRILLIK
(to Caila)
Let's go.

INT. APA HEADQUARTERS, SECURITY ROOM

Daras watches the security cameras locked on Krillik.

DARAS
He wants a fight? I'll give him one.

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Klar makes his way through the hut before hearing a VOICE behind him.

VOICE
(off-screen)
If someone looks inside your--

Klar turns SWIFTLY and comes face to face with Domar.

DOMAR
(cont'd)
--soul, chances are they'll find out just what kind of person you are. And, 
Klar, I have looked inside your soul. The only thing I see is a man who is 
delusional. I see a man who thinks he would have a shot at taking down the son 
of Rymar. The evolution of man and machine was always so vast in movies and tv 
shows. Did you ever notice that? You look at science fiction shows and movies, 
and they always have the humans in gigantic space ships, flying cars... 

A beat.

DOMAR
Do you really think that you'll ever evolve past what you are now? I hate to 
burst that bubble of yours...but you won't. I hate to be cynical, but I love 
to be right. Do you think that man will evolve past what you've created now? 
As of the year 2028, the evolution of man has stopped. There will be no more 
major advances in science. There won't be a cure for HIV, there won't be a 
cure for cancer...not even a cure for the common fucking cold. Get used to 
this, because this...is it.

INT. APA HEADQUARTERS

The security guards pile in and surround Krillik and Caila. All except one, 
who keeps a STEADY AIM on Krillik from the second floor above. In the tense 
silence, Krillik leaps up into the air and lands on the LARGE SECOND-FLOOR 
above him. He runs forward and kicks the security guard's gun upwards, 
knocking it high into the air. He grabs the guard and hurls him forward into a 
LARGE number of guards heading for him, knocking them down. In true action 
hero fashion, he grabs the gun just as it comes down and turns, SPRAYING 
BULLETS at the group of guards coming up behind him. 
  
They tumble to the ground in a POOL OF BLOOD as we SWIFTLY PAN down and see 
Caila. He is involved in a somewhat less flashy-firefight than Krillik. As he 
hides behind a PILLAR using one of the dropped guns one of the guards used, he 
rolls out and SPRAYS bullets, killing several guards.

DOMAR
(V.O.)
Once I kill Krillik, once the day of--

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

DOMAR
(cont'd)
--reckoning comes, this world, the world you call home, will be ours. It will 
no longer belong to you, it will belong to Rymar.

A beat.

KLAR
What about the Alpha God?

DOMAR
What about him?

KLAR
Even if you kill Krillik, the Alpha God is sure to retaliate.

DOMAR
So what if he does? He wouldn't stand a chance against myself or my father 
once Krillik is dead. It's almost time, Klar. We are only one day away. But I 
can't take the chance of you ruining everything.  

INT. APA HEADQUARTERS

Krillik and Caila come out into a split hallway, one hall leading left and one 
leading right. There's also a third hallway directly in front of them which 
leads to Klar Ram's office. From the hallways on the left and right of Krillik 
and Caila emerge a group of gurard's. Krillik and Caila look to each other, 
then nod. They turn in opposite directions and fire their rifles.

CLICK!!

CLICK!!

They're both out of bullets. Krillik looks to Caila and points to the hallway 
in front of them.

KRILLIK
Go. Go find Daras. I'll deal with this.

CAILA
What do you want me to do when I find him?

A beat.

KRILLIK
To be honest, I don't know...

Caila runs down the hallway as Krillik glances down both hallways. The guards 
slowly make their way towards Krillik. As they near him, Krillik runs and 
front flips over the group of guards as the others let loose with their 
rifles. Krillik rises up quickly and runs down the hallway. 

INT. APA HEADQUARTER'S, KLAR RAM'S OFFICE

As Daras sits in Klar's chair, Caila enters. 

DARAS
So...you're helping Krillik?

CAILA
Yes. I'm not ashamed of it.

DARAS
Well, you should be. The fact that you would help someone like Krillik is 
unthinkable. Before, you were dead set on taking him down. Now, you help him?

CAILA
I don't need an exuse. You can't take him down anyway. Don't you get it? He's 
the son of the Alpha God. There's no possible way to take him down.

DARAS
We'll see about that.

INT. TRAINING ROOM

This training room was used to train APA soldiers. Krillik enters the room and 
looks around as he hears the guard's coming down the hallway for him. Krillik 
stocks up, attatching a RIFLE to the strap on his left knee, PISTOLS holstered 
on his belt, UZI'S and a SWORD on his back. 

CAILA
(V.O.)
He's beginning to realize--

INT. APA HEADQUARTER'S, KLAR RAM'S OFFICE 

CAILA
(cont'd)
--just how powerful he is. He won't be able to be stopped. You can throw all 
the security guard's you want at him. The only blood that will be spilled is 
theirs. I have no doubt that's happening right now.

INT. TRAINING ROOM

BOOM!!!

The door is blasted open from a GRENADE LAUNCHER. As the guards, 25 of them to 
be exact, pile in, Krillik just stands there. As they all point their rifles 
at Krillik, an epic score begins to build, a heart-wrenching chorus behind it. 
As the tense silence ensues, a slight grin appears on Krillik's face. 

He suddenly back flips into the air while spraying bullets from his dual 
Uzi's. The guards take cover, but four are taken down. Krillik lands and 
slowly walks forward while shooting, taking down five guards in the process. 

CLICK!!

The Uzi's are empty. Krillik takes off and unholsters his pistols. The guards 
let loose as Krillik does a beautiful handspring into a backflip. Once on his 
feet, Krillik front flips over the guards. He turns and fires, killing six 
guards. Krillik then performs a spinning back kick into the face of a guard. 
He then turns and fires two bullets into his chest to kill him. 

CLICK!!

One gun is empty. He hurls it away and drops to his knees, shooting what 
little bullets are left in the gun to take down four guards. Suddenly, one of 
the five remaining guards loads the grenade launcher on his rifle. 

Krillik throws his pistol away and unstraps his rifle. Krillik fires just at 
the same time the guard fires his grenade. The guard falls to the ground as 
Krillik thinks on his feet and spins, kicking the grenade back at the four 
remaining guards.

BOOM!!!

The grenade explodes, killing the four guards. In the silence, Krillik 
overlooks all of the dead guards in the room. The blood splattered everywhere, 
the guns scattered across the floor, the bullet shells on the floor. He picks 
up one of the dropped rifles and runs off. 

INT. APA HEADQUARTER'S, KLAR RAM'S OFFICE

Krillik busts in and sees Caila on the ground. Caila is bleeding badly. He 
looks at Daras, who has a smile on his face.

DARAS
I was wondering when you'd get here. I guess Caila was right, there's no 
stopping you. But killing me seems pointless, wouldn't you say? I mean, you're 
real enemy is Rymar. He's really the only man who can destroy you. You are 
exact opposites. You have to be together...in life and death...

A beat.

DARAS
The choice is yours, but I warn you that--

RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT!!!!

The bullets rip through Daras' body as he stumbles back and falls to the 
ground, dead. As Daras lays there dead, Krillik walks over and kneels down to 
Caila. 

CAILA
(weak)
I wanted to help you, I wanted to be with you all the way.

KRILLIK
You were. We took the fight all the way to Daras, and won. We won.

CAILA
You won. I didn't do anything. You pulled the trigger, not me.

A beat.

CAILA
Good luck...against Rymar. But I don't think you'll need it.

KRILLIK
Thanks, Caila. 

CAILA
Krillik, I just want you to know that I've always thought of you as a brother. 
I've always looked at you as a member of my second family. 

KRILLIK
Me too, Caila. Me too.

CAILA
Goodbye...Krillik...

Caila slowly closes his eyes, then dies. Krillik looks to Daras, then to 
Caila. He rises and exits the room.

EXT. DOMAR'S HUT - MID-DAY

The door leading into the hut is knocked open as Klar is thrown out. He rolls 
across the ground as Domar exits and slowly walks toward him.

DOMAR
Tomorrow, Krillik and I will engage in our battle. It's a shame you won't be 
around long enough to see it. 

Klar rises and runs at Domar. To Domar's surprise, Klar is actually able to 
take him down. The tumble across the ground until Domar kicks him off. They 
rise at the same time, but Klar is met with a vicious right hand to the face. 
He stumbles back as Domar walks towards him and kicks him in the stomach.

DOMAR
It will be nothing like this. The battle will be epic, gigantic...

Domar turns and trips Klar with a leg-sweep.

DOMAR
It will dwarf anything mankind has ever faced. It will make World War II look 
like a picnic. It will make Vietnam look like a day in the park. It will make 
the War Of Taai look like a--

Klar has had enough and jumps up. He grabs Domar.

KLAR
Shut up!!

Klar knees him in the gut and punches him in the face. As Klar goes for 
another punch, Domar grabs his arm and spins, locking it into a sort of 
submission move. 

CRACK!!

Domar shatters Klar's arm. Klar screams in agony and stumbles back, grabbing 
his broken arm. As Klar lays here, an erie chrous begins to play in the 
background. There's no music behind it, just a chorus singing. We FADE TO--

Domar viciously beating Klar in the face. The chorus plays over these bloody 
and savage images. In SLOW-MOTION, Klar falls to the ground, his face a 
CRIMSON RED. The chorus continues as Domar speaks.

DOMAR
The time of Rymar has arrived. Once Krillik is defeated, we will take the 
Alpha God down ourselves. He will be powerless. It's only a matter of time. 
The era of Rymar is closing fast.

INT. KRILLIK'S SHIP, COCKPIT

Krillik sits in the ship as Jenny speaks to him.

JENNY
What's wrong, Krillik? You look sad.

KRILLIK
I am sad.

JENNY
Why?

KRILLIK
Someone I cared about is dead. 

A beat.

JENNY 
Why do people die, Krillik?

KRILLIK
It's just something that happens. There's not a real explanation why.

JENNY
I wish people didn't have to die, Krillik. When will I die, Krillik?

KRILLIK
Never.

JENNY
Why?

KRILLIK
You're a computer, Jenny. You won't die. When I'm long dead, you'll probably 
be a computer to someone else.

JENNY
But I don't want you to die, Krillik!

KRILLIK
I can't help it, Jenny. By tomorrow, I might be dead.

JENNY 
Why?

KRILLIK
Tomorrow is when I come face to face with my own mortality. That's something 
you'll never have to do, Jenny. It's something that you won't ever have to 
deal with.

JENNY
Please don't die, Krillik. Please...

The ship begins to glow a BRIGHT BLUE, signaling sadness. 

KRILLIK
Jenny, I'll be back tomorrow. I won't die.

JENNY
Promise?

A beat.

KRILLIK
Promise.

JENNY
I love you, Krillik.

KRILLIK
I love you too, Jenny.

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Domar speaks with his father, Rymar.

DOMAR
Father, Klar Ram is dead. I've killed him.

RYMAR
Very good. 

A beat.

DOMAR
What do you see in the future?

RYMAR
I see death...I see chaos. I see Krillik laying on the ground, you standing 
over him. I see your battle being very similar to the battle of Tarax and 
Oraa. A battle that spreads across many worlds. A battle that is do or die. 
The end result will determine who will own Earth, who will rule it. 

DOMAR
That will be me.

RYMAR
I hope so.

INT. KRILLIK'S APARTMENT 

Krillik enters and leans against the door. He slides down onto the floor, now 
sitting against the door. A tear streams down his cheek. As he sits here, he 
hears a voice.

VOICE
Krillik...

Krillik looks around, but sees nothing.

VOICE
Krillik...

Krillik can find no source of the voice. He rises up and walks through the 
house.

VOICE
Krillik...

KRILLIK
Who are you?
 
VOICE
I am you're father...

In front of Krillik appears the image of the ALPHA GOD. He is about 6'1 with 
LONG WHITE HAIR. 

KRILLIK
Father?

ALPHA
It's been so long since I've seen you...so many years.

KRILLIK
Why? Why plant false memories? I could've handled it.

ALPHA
I'm afraid not, Krillik. The responsibility, the mere thought, of being the 
son of a god is powerful. Any son of a god, whether it's me or not, has a huge 
responsibility. Every god will have enemies, and mine is Rymar.

A beat.

KRILLIK
What happened?

ALPHA
Rymar used to be my friend. He used to be a person I trusted, a person I would 
tell all of my problems to. He would always be there to help me. But over the 
years, he grew arrogant. He became cocky and smug. But that wasn't how we grew 
to hate each other, it was his betrayal.

KRILLIK
Betrayal?

ALPHA
Yes. You see, the original thought of God was that he lived in the sky and 
watched over all that he created. This was true, I do watch from the sky. And 
the original thought of Satan was that he controlled Hell, the underworld 
below the Earth. This is also true. Rymar controls Hell. Over the years, it 
became evident that Rymar was arrogant as well as a traitor. He created Hell 
without my permission and sided against me. 

A beat.

ALPHA
We became mortal enemies and were split to our own places of rule. I 
controlled Heaven, or Alpha as it's called now, and he controlled Hell. The 
years passed and we both married and had children. I had you, and he had 
Domar. History is repeating itself. Rymar and I were split, just as you and 
Domar are now.

KRILLIK
Mortal enemies...like Tarax and Oraa.

ALPHA
Very similar to Tarax and Oraa. 

A beat.

ALPHA
Krillik, you must win. You must win this battle. If you don't, Earth, the 
human race, everything will be destroyed. If Rymar and Domar are able to 
freely roam, the proverbial apocalypse will come to pass. 

KRILLIK
But why can't you stop them?

ALPHA
Rymar and I have grown weak over the years. Even if we wanted to, we couldn't 
do the battle ourselves. Our weak and fragile bodies would break before the 
first shot was thrown. 

A beat.

ALPHA
Krillik, once you defeat Domar, it will all be yours. Alpha...or Heaven or 
whatever you wish to call it, will be yours to rule and do with what you wish. 
If, however, you wish not to rule from up here, it would be possible for you 
to rule from--

KRILLIK
Rule? I don't want to rule. I'm not a ruler.

ALPHA
It's your destiny, Krillik. As my son, you're destiny is to take my place.

KRILLIK
What if I don't want to follow it?

A beat.

ALPHA
The last thing I want to do is control you, so I'll let you make the decision. 
If...no, when you win, I'll give you a choice. You can come up here, and 
rule...

KRILLIK
And Nayla?

ALPHA
Nayla, too. Or, you can go back to believing...whatever you want to believe. 
You can go back to your life as Krillik Alkar, son of Morka Alkar. Or you can 
become the successor to the Alpha God...your father.

A beat.

ALPHA
The choice is yours, and I won't love you any less if you choose to not rule. 

KRILLIK
I don't know...I don't know what I should do.

ALPHA
You have plenty of time to decide, Krillik. You must not show fear when you 
come face to face with Domar. Do not show fear.

KRILLIK

ALPHA
Everyone fears something.

A beat.

KRILLIK
Well, I do have something I fear.

ALPHA
What's that?

KRILLIK
A dream I had. I had a dream that Nayla was falling...

ALPHA
Falling where?

KRILLIK
She...she was falling, and rose pedals were all around her. Then she fell into 
a river of blood...and then I...I woke up...

ALPHA
It is possible that you have been given the power of future.

KRILLIK
Power of future?

ALPHA
Just as the name implies, the power to see into the future.

KRILLIK
Are you telling me I'm seeing Nayla die?

ALPHA
It's possible. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
Domar said I could fly. Is that true?

ALPHA
Yes. Domar was absolutely honest on that. You can fly. 

KRILLIK
He said we were like Superman...a living comic book.

ALPHA
Yes...to a certain point, you are. You have flight, strength and speed. 

Alpha grins slightly.

ALPHA
The only thing missing is heat vision and x-ray vision. 

KRILLIK
This isn't funny, Alpha.

ALPHA
Please, Krillik...call me...dad.

Krillik sighs.

KRILLIK
Fine. This isn't funny...dad...

A beat.

ALPHA
That...sounds nice.

A beat.

ALPHA
Well, the--

Krillik puts his hands up, signaling for Alpha to stop speaking.

KRILLIK
Wait.

We hear a FAINT sound of HELICOPTER BLADES. It begins to get louder.

KRILLIK
Do you hear that?

ALPHA
APA helicopters. They're coming for you.

KRILLIK
Why?

ALPHA
I'll simply rely on what Caila said...they think they have a shot at taking 
Domar down themselves. They don't think they need you. 

A MAN'S VOICE erupts from a bullhorn from the helicopter.

MAN
(off-screen, on bullhorn)
Krillik Alkar!! Exit the building and surrender now!! 

Krillik and Alpha give each other a stare, then Krillik takes off.

MAN
This is your one and only warning!!

INT. HELICOPTER

The man operating the bullhorn turns to the pilot.

MAN
Forget it, the people in this building are expendable. I want him taken down!

INT. APARTMENT BUILDING, HALLWAY

Krillik runs down the hallway.

RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT!!!!

Bullets tear through the hallway, barely missing Krillik. The bullets chase 
Krillik down the hallway, SHATTERING the cement walls. 

EXT. APARTMENT BUILDING, ROOF - MID-DAY

The rain pours down as Krillik makes his way onto the roof and spots the 
helicopter. As the rain drenches Krillik, the gunner aims the mounted machine 
gun at him. Krillik takes off down the roof for the helicopter. The gunner 
lets loose, spraying bullets at Krillik. Krillik rolls to avoid them. 

In SLOW-MOTION, Krillik leaps off the roof and towards the helicopter. There's 
no music behind the jump, it's just the ambient noise of rain, wind and the 
helicopter blades. 

CRING!!!
 
Krillik lands and grabs onto the tail of the helicopter. The helicopter spins 
out of control, but Krillik is able to hang on. The helicopter spins around 
out of control for about ten seconds until Krillik notices that it is going to 
crash into the apartment building. 

BOOM!!!

The helicopter smashes into the building just as Krillik leaps off. As Krillik 
falls to certain doom, he suddenly stops himself. To his delight, Krillik is 
floating. He zips around the sky with a big smile on his face.

KRILLIK
(to himself)
So it's true...I can fly.

EXT. VARANA SIX - MID-DAY

Almost as if they can feel what the other is thinking, Domar is flying through 
Varana Six. He floats down to his hut and walks in.

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Domar enters and kneels down, the image of Rymar appearing in front of him.

RYMAR
Krillik has discovered flight. The final piece is in place. The only thing we 
need to do now is wait.

DOMAR
Father, I have an idea. It's something that will give me power over Krillik. 

RYMAR
You already have power over him.

DOMAR
Yes...but this would easily make him vulnerable. It's not an attack on his 
physical being, it's an attack on his heart.

EXT. NEW YORK STREETS - MID-DAY

Krillik walks down the streets, the rain still pouring. As he walks, there is 
a FLASH of LIGHT. 

SMASH CUT TO:
Silent footage. Black and white. 

We see Krillik and Domar trading blows, then CUT TO:

Krillik and Domar have ahold of each other's shirts. They fly through the air 
while still holding each other, trading punches. Domar hurls Krillik away into 
a building.

FADE OUT.
FADE IN.

We come back to Krillik. He steps back and remembers what Alpha said.

ALPHA
(V.O.)
It is possible that you have been given the power of future. Just as the name 
implies, the power to see into the future.

He looks up and sees the exact building that Domar threw him into in the 
vision. 

INT. KRILLIK'S SHIP, COCKPIT

Krillik enters the ship and presses a few buttons, causing Jenny to awake from 
her down time.

KRILLIK
Hi, Jenny.

JENNY
Hi, Krillik. 

Jenny takes note of Krillik's silence.

JENNY
What's wrong?

KRILLIK
I've gotta tell you something, Jenny.

JENNY
What?

A beat.

KRILLIK
I have to do something tomorrow. 

JENNY
Do what?

KRILLIK
I have to do something that could split us. It's something that...well, we 
might not see each other again if I don't do it right.

JENNY
But...

KRILLIK
I can't help it. If I run away from this now, it will only cause more 
problems.

JENNY
But I don't want you to go away.

The ship begins to glow blue again.

KRILLIK
Remember what I told you earlier, Jenny? Do you remember?

JENNY
Yes. I remember.

KRILLIK
I have to come face to face with someone who wants me dead.

JENNY
Who would want you do die?

KRILLIK
Someone who hates me. It's someone who would love nothing more for me to die.

JENNY
What am I gonna do without you, Krillik?

KRILLIK
I'll be coming back, Jenny. But just in case I don't, I want you to take good 
care of Nayla. Okay?

JENNY
Okay.

EXT. NEW YORK STREETS - NIGHT

Krillik sits on a street corner, the rain drenching him.

KRILLIK
(to himself)
He'll die. I will kill him. 

As Krillik sits here, a STUTTERING OLD WOMAN comes walking up to him.

OLD WOMAN
She was covered in blood, the doves behind her. The blood ran down her body, 
her face a crimson red.

Krillik looks at her with confusion. She is speaking quotes from the Alpha 
Bible.

OLD WOMAN
She grabbed her lovers hand as she knew she was going to die. The kiss they 
shared was the last. Her body went limp, and she was dead. 

The old woman has a crooked smile, with many teeth missing, and the ones that 
aren't missing are in terrible shape. A pause is shared between them until the 
old woman walks off. 

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Nayla sits in the hut, tied up.

NAYLA
Let me go!!

Domar is somewhat annoyed with her as he prepares himself for the battle. He 
places his BRIGHT RED METAL GLOVES on. 

NAYLA
LET ME GO!!!

DOMAR
Shut up!!

Domar turns and backhands Nayla. Domar looks at her with anger for a moment, 
then exits. 

INT. APARTMENT BUILDING

Krillik enters and walks through the destroyed building. Pieces of the 
helicopter ROTOR lay on the floor, as well as the DOORS and SHATTERED GLASS. 
Krillik walks up to the owner.

KRILLIK
I'm sorry.

OWNER
It wasn't your fault. 

Krillik sighs, knowing that it was his fault.

OWNER
Maybe it's just as well. 

KRILLIK
Why do you say that?

OWNER
I've been wanting to sell this building to somebody else. 

A beat.

OWNER
Well, it really doesn't matter now. Who's gonna buy it now? I still wonder 
what the hell happened. I was just sitting down here, and all of a sudden, I 
hear the helicopter from outside. Then they...

He then remembers what the man in the helicopter shouted...Krillik Alkar.

OWNER
Wait...he said your name. He wanted you.

KRILLIK
The APA was coming after me.

OWNER
But why? Don't you have faith in the Alpha God?

KRILLIK
I used to think he didn't exist, but now I'm sure of it. 

OWNER
How?

KRILLIK
You wouldn't believe me if I told you. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
What time is it?

The owner glances at his watch.

OWNER
11:58.

KRILLIK
It's almost time.

OWNER
Time for what?

KRILLIK
Something I have to do. Can I stay here tonight?

OWNER
I'm not sure about letting someone stay here who almost destroyed my building.

KRILLIK
Why? You said you were gonna sell it anyway. Let it be someone else's problem. 
I need to rest up for tomorrow.

A beat.

OWNER
Alright. Go ahead.

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Domar enters the hut and picks up one of Otaro Takeshi's knives. He brings it 
close to his arm and LIGHTLY cuts into it. BLOOD drips down from the cut. He 
turns to Nayla.

NAYLA
What do you want?!

DOMAR
I just want Krillik.

NAYLA
Why do you want Krillik?

DOMAR
Don't tell me he hasn't told you yet?

NAYLA
What?

DOMAR
Sit back and I'll tell you what your husband must have been too afraid to tell 
you.

FADE OUT.

SCREEN CAPTION
October 24th, 2028. 

FADE IN.

INT. KRILLIK'S APARTMENT

Krillik lays in his bed.

SCREEN CAPTION
7:18 AM.

As he lays here, the same HOLOGRAPHIC image of the Alpha God from earlier 
appears. 

ALPHA
Krillik...

Krillik opens his eyes and turns. 

ALPHA
Did you get any sleep?

KRILLIK
No. 

A beat.

ALPHA
It's time, Krillik. Domar is waiting. 

KRILLIK
I'm afraid. I know I said I fear nothing, but that was a lie. I...

A tear streams down his cheek.

KRILLIK
I'm...I'm afraid. I'm afraid of what will happen.

ALPHA
Don't be, Krillik. I will be watching...I will guide you...

INT. KRILLIK'S SHIP, COCKPIT

Krillik enters and turns the ship on.

JENNY
Hi, Krillik.

KRILLIK
It's time, Jenny. The thing we talked about is getting ready to happen. 

JENNY
Please...be careful, Krillik.

KRILLIK
I will, Jenny.

The ship takes off.

INT. DOMAR'S HUT

Domar kicks the door open and drags Nayla kicking and screaming out of the 
hut.

NAYLA
Let me go!! Stop it!!

EXT. VARANA SIX - MORNING

Krillik's ship makes it's way towards Varana Six. 

EXT. INKAL LAKE - MORNING

Domar drags her towards the lake and BURIES her FACE into it, trying to drown 
her. Domar laughs as she tries to get away, but Domar simply overpowers her.

KRILLIK
(off-screen)
DOMAR!!!!

He turns just as Krillik comes flying in and punches Domar, knocking him back 
a good distance. Krillik pulls Nayla out, spitting up the water. 

KRILLIK
Are you alright? 

NAYLA
(coughing)
I'm fine.

KRILLIK
I'm sorry, Nayla. I'm sorry I let him hurt you.

NAYLA
I knew you would come. 

A beat.

NAYLA
He told me...about...you know...

KRILLIK
I was going to tell you after this. The--

Suddenly, Domar flies in and grabs Krillik. They fly through the air, grabbing 
each other. They trade punches until Domar leans back and delivers a HARD 
headbutt to Krillik. Domar then flies back to Nayla, grabbing her. He takes 
her up high into the air above the RED lake. Krillik floats up and connects 
eyes with Domar.

KRILLIK
Let her go, Domar! She doesn't have anything to do with this.

DOMAR
She's got everything to do with it. Maybe she's not directly involved, but 
she's the one thing you care about the most. She's nothing more than a weapon 
I can use to keep you at bay. 

KRILLIK
Why are you using her? This is between us, Domar. This is between you and me. 
We need to settle it...

A beat.

KRILLIK
...now...

DOMAR
Perhaps your right. Maybe she doesn't matter. And if she doesn't matter, 
there's no reason I can't just...let go.

KRILLIK
No!

Domar drops her towards Inkal Lake. As she nears it, we CUT to a SHOT directly 
ABOVE Nayla. Krillik zips ahead to try and grab her, but he's too late. Nayla 
splahes into the water, sending a group of DOVES flying behind the IMAGE of 
the river. Krillik dive-bombs into the river and grabs Nayla. As Domar 
watches, Krillik comes bursting out of the water and sets her down. As Nayla 
is soaked in the red water, Krillik wipes her face. They both rise.

BANG!!!

Nayla stumbles forward, a BULLET piercing through her body. She falls OUT OF 
FRAME, revealing Domar pointing one of Otaro Takeshi's guns. Krillik grabs her 
before she hits the ground. Domar hurls the gun away. Krillik looks directly 
in Nayla's eyes. 

NAYLA
(weak)
She was covered in blood, the doves behind her. The blood ran down her body, 
her face a crimson red. 

Nayla grabs Krillik's hand, holding it in her own.

NAYLA
(weak)
She grabbed her lovers hand as she knew she was going to die.

Krillik leans forward and shares a passionate kiss with Nayla.

NAYLA
(weak)
The kiss they shared was the last. Her body...

Nayla doesn't finish it, she simply closes her eyes and dies.

KRILLIK
...went limp...and she was dead.

A tear streams down Krillik's cheek. He gently lays her down and rises, 
connecting eyes with Domar.

DOMAR
Don't blame me, blame the Alpha Bible. Perhaps now you'll take what the Alpha 
Bible says more seriously. It's a book of prophecies. It said the son of the 
Alpha God's wife would be killed by his most hated enemy.

A beat.

KRILLIK
It also says that the son of the Alpha God kills his most hated enemy. 

Domar half smiles.

DOMAR
That's the part of the book I always hated. I say we change that.

Domar glances over at Inkal Lake, then back to Krillik.

DOMAR
You know, I did lie about Inkal Lake. It wasn't like this when I got here. Do 
you remember what the Alpha Bible said about a river of blood?

A beat.

KRILLIK
A river of blood formed over night, only to be explained when the two warriors 
crossed paths. 

DOMAR
Exactly. It did form over night. When I got to Varana Six, it was just a big 
whole in the ground. When the APA came looking for me, it's no surprise that I 
simply destroyed them. 

KRILLIK
What are you saying?

DOMAR
Yes. Inkal Lake is nothing more than the blood of APA soldiers. 

A beat.

KRILLIK 
Inkal...the Taai word for blood. Blood Lake.

DOMAR
Blood Lake...where the son of the Alpha God's nemesis is supposed to be taken 
after his defeat. However, once the battle is finished, the only person at the 
bottom of Inkal Lake will be you. I'm partial to calling Blood Lake though. 

A beat.

DOMAR
So...what have you been seeing?

KRILLIK
What are you talking about?

DOMAR
I know you've been given the power of future. That's something I seemed to 
have been left out on.

Krillik becomes angered.

KRILLIK
We've been been fucking around with this for three days now. This is it, 
there's no bullshitting anymore. It's time that one of us shows just who we 
are. It's time that we both just stop this shit and do it. 

DOMAR
Well, aren't we impatient?

KRILLIK
I've been thinking over the past three days that if I lose, there's no way I'm 
going down by myself. If you beat me, your ass is going with me.

DOMAR
I applaud your--

Suddenly, Krillik sprints off towards Domar. Domar is ready and zips into the 
air. He takes off across Varana Six. Krillik follows.

EXT. VARANA SIX SKYLINE - MORNING

Domar flies through the sky, Krillik close behind him. As they make their way 
through the sky, Domar puts on the breaks and turns. Krillik isn't phased and 
simply crashes into him. They trade punches back and forth. Krillik rears back 
and delivers a hard punch, knocking Domar loose. He stops himself in mid-air 
and zips towads Krillik. Krillik ducks his punch and delivers his own, 
knocking Domar into the air and back down again. 

Domar falls to the ground and Krillik gives chase. As Krillik chases him, he 
realizes that Domar is playing possum. Domar turns back up and flies at 
Krillik full steam. Domar lays into Krillik with a hard shot. Krillik flies 
back into the air. Krillik falls to the ground and lands with a hard THUD. As 
he rises, he looks up and sees Domar heading straight for him. Krillik thinks 
quickly and back flips, avoiding Domar. 

BOOM!!

Domar misses Krillik and all of the force behind his attack is wasted on the 
ground. Domar rises up from the CRATER he formed in the ground. As they stare 
each other down, Domar suddenly zips up into the air. Krillik looks up and 
sees that Domar has practically disappeared. In this silence, Krillik realizes 
where he's going.

KRILLIK
He's heading for Earth. He wants to finish it there.

EXT. NEW YORK SKYLINE - MORNING

As Domar stands on a building rooftop, we hear Krillik.

KRILLIK
(off-screen)
Domar!!

Domar turns as Krillik floats down and lands on the roof.

KRILLIK
Why here? Why finish it here?

DOMAR
It's perfect. Varana Six is much too bare and boring for a battle of this 
size. With a battleground this big, you open up so many possibilities. 

A beat.

DOMAR
You know, I've just been reminded of my tenth birthday. Most children ask 
their parents for footballs or toy trains. What did I ask for? A planet. Ever 
since I was nine years old, I always wanted a planet of my own to rule. Once I 
beat you, that long overdue wish will finally come true. This is the 
finale...the climax. Are you ready? 

After a moment of silence, Domar takes to the air. Krillik flies up and 
collides with him. They fly through the sky, trading HARD right hands. In this 
struggle, Domar unleashes a powerful knee to the gut, then simply hurls 
Krillik away. Krillik flies through the air before smashing into a large 
building. As Domar stares at the large hole in the building, Krillik comes 
speeding out like a bullet and crashes into him.

The fly through the air and crash into a building. The smash through all the 
way to the other side of the building and plummet to the ground. They land 
with a hard CRASH. The impact of their crash causes a large TREMOR. For added 
bonus, the camera shakes and moves as if being effected by their crash. They 
rise and run at each other. Krillik blocks the right hand and delivers his 
own, knocking Domar back. Domar flies through the air and lands on the front 
end of a car, flipping it up into the air. The car lands on the ground. 

Showing no respect for the safety of the driver, Domar picks the car up and 
hurls it directly at Krillik. Krillik flies forward and catches the car, 
letting it down gently. As he looks up, Domar comes speeding at him. Krillik 
returns the favor.

BOOM!!!

The collide like two freight trains. Both of them fly back and land on the 
ground. They slowly rise to their feet. 

DOMAR
You see what I mean? A city this big is the perfect compliment to our final 
battle. Only here will it be decided...only here...

Krillik runs forward and punches, but Domar ducks. Domar swings and misses as 
well. Both of them rear back, putting every bit of strength they can into 
their punches. Their fists meet each other's faces at the same time, knocking 
both of them back. Krillik rises and sees Domar flying towards him. Krillik 
zips up into the air and crashes into him. They fly through the air, trading 
punches. Krillik hurls Domar away. Domar stops himself in mid-air and zips 
forward, crashing into the back of Krillik. Krillik turns and delivers a hard 
shot to Domar's face. Domar flies back through the air and onto the street. He 
rises as Krillik floats down.

DOMAR
I've grown tired of this place. I want a new location.

Domar flies into the air, then smirks.

DOMAR
I just realized how childish that sounded, asking for a new place to fight.

Domar smiles then zips up into the air. 

EXT. CONSTRUCTION YARD - AFTERNOON
            
Krillik flies in and lands. He looks around, searching for Domar.

KRILLIK
Domar!!

He hears a RUSTLE and turns quickly, seeing Domar. 

KRILLIK
This is it, Domar. No more running. 

DOMAR
Who's running? I'm not running. I'm simply trying to keep the battle from 
getting stale. Fighting in the same place is far too boring. Why do you think 
we've moved from Varana Six to the streets of New York to here? But this isn't 
the end. I have a special place in mind for the end. It's perfect.

KRILLIK
Where?

DOMAR
It's a secret. If I told you, it wouldn't be so interesting would it?

Domar runs forward and grabs Krillik, kneeing him in the gut. He spins and 
hurls Krillik across the yard. Krillik smashes into a pile of working 
materials. As Domar runs for the pile, Krillik bursts out with a STEEL PIPE 
and whacks Domar, knocking him backwards. Krillik runs forward and, in SLOW-
MOTION, collides with Domar. They grab each others shirts, punching each 
other. 

The epic score builds as Krillik grabs ahold of Domar's belt and hurls him 
away. We resume FULL-SPEED as Domar crashes into a pile of materials. Mere 
seconds later, Domar flies out from it, screaming.

DOMAR
Pathetic!!!

Domar zips down and, once again in SLOW-MOTION, collides with Krillik. They 
trade punches until Domar slams Krillik into a SUPPORT BEAM holding up the 
unfinished building. The beam simply CRUMBLES and the buidling becomes 
unstable. As it teeters upon destruction, Krillik takes ahold of Domar and 
returns the favor, slamming him into the other SUPPORT BEAM. The unfinished 
building simply collapses under it's own weight, burying Domar and Krillik.

In the tense silence, a HAND begins to SLOWLY protrude from the RUBBLE. We 
know that this is Domar's hand by the RED METAL GLOVE he put on earlier. Domar 
pulls himself from the wreckage and stumbles to the ground. He overlooks the 
destruction and seems shocked.

DOMAR
(surprised)
I did it. I beat him. I actually beat him. I actually beat--

Suddenly, Krillik bursts up through the rubble and floats high above him. His 
TATTERED CLOTHES and SCARRED, BLOODIED body make him look like a true warrior 
as he stares at Domar. Domar is also war-torn, with several SCARS and CUTS 
among his body. 
 
DOMAR
I should have known. I should have known it was too good to be true. 

Domar rises and walks across the rubble.

DOMAR
I've not been disappointed by the battle as of yet. It has already rivaled the 
battle of Tarax and Oraa.

KRILLIK
How would you know?

DOMAR
Well, I've only read about that particular battle, but this one has simply 
dwarfed that by it's sheer scope alone. We're creating history here, Krillik. 
The Holy War between God and The Devil, or Alpha God and Rymar, has finally 
come to fruition. Two things will happen from this.

A beat.

DOMAR
The first thing is the proverbial apocalypse...the end of mankind. The coming 
of Rymar signals the end of the world...doomsday. The second is peace. If good 
triumphs over evil, which so many people are stupid enough to believe always 
happens, the world will be at peace. No more war...no more disease. 

A beat.
 
DOMAR
I've heard you're undecided about whether or not you want to rule this 
place...to take your father's place. Just think about what would happen if you 
didn't. If you didn't, the same horrors humans face today would continue. 
Cancer, HIV...they would all continue. But you, you could stop them. You are 
truly a miracle, Krillik. You would save people from darkness and their own 
personal horrors.

KRILLIK
What are you doing? Why are you trying to convinve me to rule?

DOMAR
I'm not convinving you, I'm just telling you what you won't be able to do. 
None of that will happen, Krillik. You won't be able to save anyone. You'll be 
laying dead at my feet before you can do any of that. 

Domar suddenly flies up and crashes into Krillik. They fly upwards and out of 
the construction yard.

EXT. NEW YORK SKYLINE - AFTERNOON

They continue upwards, through the CLOUDS. After a moment of silence, they 
come faling through. As they nosedive towards the ground, Krillik delivers 
three solid right hands to Domar. They seperate and float in front of each 
other, then fly forward. Domar ducks Krillik's punch and delivers his own. 
Krillik returns the favor. They trade right hands until Domar ducks and rears 
back, putting a great amount of strength behind it. 

BOOM!!

The CAMERA, as well as the area surrounding them, SHAKES and RUMBLES upon it's 
impact as Krillik flies backwards a tremendous distance. 
  
EXT. NEW YORK STREETS - AFTERNOON

Krillik lands with a THUNDEROUS thud, causing a SMALL CRATER in the ground. 
Domar floats down towards him with a somewhat confused look. He looks Krillik 
directly in the eyes as he stands up.

DOMAR 
Are you holding back?

KRILLIK
No.

DOMAR
Good. Because I--
 
Suddenly, Krillik runs forward and grabs Domar. They collide as Krillik 
headbutts Domar. Domar stumbles back, dazed by it. Krillik steps back and 
flies up and executes a complete loop, coming full-circle with Domar. With a 
loud and epic war cry, Krillik lays into Domar with a devastating right hand. 
Domar flies back and slams into a building, causing a LARGE hole in it. As 
Krillik looks up at the hole, the RUBBLE falls away and Domar comes tumbling 
out. He lands on the ground with a THUD. Krillik walks over to him and picks 
him up by his shirt. He holds him up into the air and rears his arm back. 

Krillik throws his arm forward with a tremendous amount of velocity. As 
Krillik's hand nears his face, Domar's hand rises up, grabbing his fist. Domar 
lowers himself and tries for a left hand. But Krillik simply grabs his fist 
with his free hand. They stare each other directly in the face in the 
struggle, protecting themselves from what would surely be a tremendous shot. 
They push into each other, sweat dripping from their faces, their bodies weak 
from the battle. The score builds in the background, an epic chorus behind it. 

They finally break it and grab each other by the shirt. We enter SLOW-MOTION 
as they spin around, Krillik slamming Domar into a building. Domar pushes him 
away and returns the favor, slamming Krillik into the same building. Krillik 
pushes out and spins, taking Domar across the street and slamming him directly 
into the building. They trade off doing this for a moment before Domar slams 
Krillik so hard, he slumps to the ground. Domar stumbles to the ground. Both 
of them lay here, entirely spent of energy. After a few moments, they slowly 
rise to their feet. They stare each other down as Domar begins to quote the 
Alpha Bible.

DOMAR
The warriors had come to the apex. They'd come to the conlcusion. Both of them 
spent...

Krillik continues it.

KRILLIK
...both of them bloodied. 

They take off for each other, screaming. They collide, causing a LARGE RUMBLE. 
They stumble back until Krillik nails a right hand. Domar returns the favor 
with one of his own. They trade right hands for a moment until they both rear 
back, fists clenched. 

BOOM!!!

The force causes a LARGE EARTHQUAKE. The buildings SHAKE and CRUMBLE as we:

FADE OUT.

We hear the FIZZLE of RADIO STATIONS until stopping on a news report. We hear 
the voice of KAREN MILLER.

KAREN
(V.O.)
I'm Karen Miller with a special report. The full-scale war which struck New 
York has finally come to a stop. Two men, who eye witnesses claimed could fly 
and had tremendous strength, fought all over New York with no sings of slowing 
down. Scientists and experts say that this could have very well been the Holy 
War between the son of the Alpha God and the son of Rymar. Nothing is 
confirmed, but stay with us for more.

FADE IN.

We see Krillik and Domar laying next to each other. Solem chorus music fills 
the air as we STEADY on Krillik. He opens his eyes for a moment, seeing the 
people crowding around him. 

Suddenly, BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT surrounds Krillik. The people step back as 
Krillik's body floats up through the light into the sky.

WHITE OUT TO:

Krillik's face, extreme close-up. We PAN away and see the faces of many MEN 
and WOMEN. Surrounding the faces is a WHITE HUE, similar to the dream sequence 
with Nayla. We hear the Alpha God and a WOMAN'S VOICE as we FADE OUT.

ALPHA
(V.O.)
I should have expected this. The length and strain of the battle might have 
been too much for him.

WOMAN'S VOICE
What about Domar?

ALPHA 
Dead.

WOMAN
Will Krillik survive?

ALPHA
All we can do is wait...and hope. 

FADE OUT.

We FADE IN on Krillik. He is laying in front of a LARGE group of people. 
Standing in front of them is the Alpha God. Krillik rises, a pained look on 
his face.

ALPHA
How do you feel?

KRILLIK
I feel...hurt.

ALPHA
As you should. Your battle with Domar lasted quite a while. 

KRILLIK
Domar...is he...

Alpha nods.

ALPHA
Yes. Dead.

The group of people begin to applaud and cheer for Krillik. He smiles 
slightly.

ALPHA
But now you must decide, Krillik.

KRILLIK
Decide what?

ALPHA
You must decide whether or not you will take my place. The choice is yours, 
and no one here will respect you any less if you don't. 

A beat.

KRILLIK
I...

ALPHA
Just know that I will love and watch over you no matter what you do.

A beat.

KRILLIK
I...will. I have to. I have to do it for myself...

Krillik glances at the the group of people, then to his father.

KRILLIK
...and for all of you. I have to do it.

ALPHA
Very well. Now you must fulfill the rest of the prophecy.

A beat.

KRILLIK
Blood Lake.

ALPHA
Yes.

EXT. BLOOD LAKE - DAY

Krillik walks down the dusty trail towards the lake, holding Domar's body in 
his arms. Somber piano music fills the air as he kneels down and places 
Domar's body in the water.

KRILLIK
His body drifted into Blood Lake. His spirit belonged to the Earth, his body 
to the lake.

Domar drifts down to the lake and out of Krillik's sight. Krillik stands up 
and looks up, only to realize he's not at Blood Lake anymore. He is in an 
entirely different place. Surrounding him is a BRIGHT RED AREA with GOLD and 
BLUE lines RUNNING through it. He wanders through with a confused look on his 
face before hearing a LOUD and BOOMING VOICE.

VOICE
Taai!!

A few seconds later, the voice is heard again.

VOICE
Taai!!

A beat.

VOICE
It has finally started. Only in death can you find peace, and only in 
life...can you find death.

We CLOSE in on Krillik's face, the chorus building, THEN:

BLACK OUT.
