Loop Video(Western) - Bass Reeves was born a slave in 1838 in Paris Texas. After the Civil War freed the slaves, he was the first Black man deputized as a U.S. Marshal West of the Mississippi. He worked for Judge Isaac Parker, the famous “hanging Judge” out of Fort Smith Arkansas from 1875 until Oklahoma attained statehood in 1907. Reeves made over 3,000 arrests in his time as a US Marshal and killed only 14 outlaws. The story focuses on the toughest arrest Reeves ever made, that of his own son, for murder! 109 pages (pdf - formatting:

Bastard, The by

Simply Scripts(Western) - A child and a gunman wander through the uncivilized West in this surreal, violent Western. {Comments: This is the script to a straight-to-video film I made a few years ago. It really isn't written in what most would consider a proper screenplay format, but this was due to the fact that it's a film heavily reliant on visuals and odd imagery.} (rtf - formatting:

In 1872, a small group escaped from the reservation and headed back to their homeland. With the army in pursuit, they fled to the Land of Burnt Out Fires, a lava bed formed by an extinct volcano. Captain Jack and his small band of about 150 poorly armed warriors was able to hold out for six months battling the U.S. cavalry. (pdf - formatting:
