The Last Resort by Katrina Rodriguez

(Horror) - The camping trip is a "last resort" attempt to make some progress in dealing with problems of the seven teens, ranging from sexual abuse, to drug use, to paranoias. They'll spend the weekend addressing these issues, away from the pressures of home, school, and society in general. As the night moves on, they begin to disappear one by one, each murdered in grisly fashion. They don't know who is after them and why, but it's clear the killer won't stop until they're all dead. The Trial of Mumia Abu Jamal by Kevin Cooper

(Thriller) - "The Trial of Mumia Abu Jamal," first premiered in New York City on June 22, 1995, as a "play within a play." An interesting format of storytelling which allowed the audience to interact with the actors and be an intricate part of the production. After a six week run off-Broadway, "The Trial of Mumia Abu Jamal" came to a close in August of the same year. However we were requested by several organizations to hold another run of the production. Ironically we agreed to just a day after Mumia was granted a stay of execution. (doc)

Everything is fine until people start turning up dead all linked as being a part of more of the killings that have to do with Sidney. Who could possibly want her dead this time? (doc)

Tormented by Patrick Donahue

(Horror) - EDDIE and ANNA's free-spirited, honeymoon drive through the countryside stops being fun when they're pulled over for reckless driving. The "arresting officer" is actually MICK, a small town sheriff who needs blood for his deathly ill brother dying from a rare blood disease. Mick handcuffs Eddie, beats him, throws him into the trunk of his own car and pushes the car into a lake. He takes Anna to the abandoned mobile home where he lives and processes his victims.

With only a limited supply of air in the trunk, Eddie must free himself, make it to dry land and find his wife before it's too late. Still handcuffed, Eddie manages to find Anna and with his feet as his only weapons, he overpowers Mick who winds up being sucked into the tree chipper and fittingly turned into fish bait. (rtf)
