GOLF LINKS HOTEL - NIGHT A party is going on, flashing lights and dance music. STACEY CORLE walks through a crowd of dancing people to the entrance of the hotel. EXT. GOLF LINKS CAR PARK She sees a guy across the road; he's sat on the small metal fence around the giant golf course. She walks to the edge of the road, and shouts: - STACEY TIM? Is that you? The man turns around to reveal he is TIM FULLER. He stands up. TIM Hey, Stacey. Stacey quickly runs across the road to Tim. STACEY Hi, Tim, what're you doing out here? TIM Getting some peace. Tim steps over the fence and starts walking down the green. Stacey follows. STACEY I get what you mean, it's mad in there. TIM Well it is Siobhan's 18th, to her, it's a really special age. Being able to drink alcohol and all. STACEY Yeah, she gets to do everything she's been doing since she was 15. TIM [Laughs] Yeah, we had some fun times. STACEY Well, I guess it's time to grow up and move on. TIM Why did you dump me for Shaun? STACEY Tim, we were 13. Forget about it. TIM But why did you do it? STACEY Well, at the time, you were... well... err; you had the most hideous specs and you were like, so much of a... geek. TIM Then why did you ask me out? STACEY Well, I knew you fancied me... TIM So I was a last resort until Shaun came along? STACEY Well, Shaun was so cool and smart. TIM Smart? Why did he become a shop assistant then? STACEY Oh stop moaning, you sound like a frustrated cat. There's a long silence as they walk deeper into the darkness of the golf course. STACEY You know, I'd like to give it another go, if you want to TIM Really? STACEY Yeah. They turn to each other and their lips get closer, but suddenly a raindrop hits Stacey's hand. And she backs off. STACEY Shit! TIM [Sighs] Took the words right out of my mouth. STACEY It's starting to rain. TIM No bullshit! STACEY We better start heading back. Tim grabs her hand. TIM How's a bit of rain going to affect us? The rain grows much harder. TIM On second thoughts, let's go. They begin running, suddenly as if from nowhere, a flag [the one's they keep in the holes] whips out and hits Tim in the head, he falls side ways into the bunker. He grips his bloody head. Stacey turns around to see a person in a black hooded coat and a balaclava with the flag in his hands, he swings the flag at her but she ducks and falls over. Tim stands up behind the killer but the killer rams the flag backwards and the pointed part sticks into his chest and it comes out the other end. Stacey stands up and screams. The killer emerges Stacey; she makes a run for it. Running down the massive golf course, screaming. The killer walks after her in no rush. Stacey comes to trees at the other end of the golf course. CUT TO: INT. GOLF LINKS HOTEL SIOBHAN LOWELL walks up to AARON GARL with a blue 'wicked' in her hands. SIOBHAN Aaron, where's Stacey? AARON Don't know I haven't seen Tim either. SIOBHAN Oh, well that explains it. [Laughs] AARON Want to dance Siobhan? SIOBHAN Why sure good sir. They walk onto the dance floor. CUT TO: EXT. TREES Stacey runs through the trees, crying, branches scrape her face. Stacey's POV; running through the woods, pushing branches out of the way, suddenly the killer jumps out in front of her. He rams her up against a tree. STACEY [Crying] No, please. Leave me alone. She suddenly knees him in the balls, he growls and she pushes him over. She begins running again. After a while of running, she stops, realising the killer isn't following her. View from behind Stacey, the silhouette of the killer lowers himself down from a tree. Stacey turns around and screams. He kicks her in the stomach and she goes back into a tree. He rams the flag through her stomach and it comes through the other side of the tree. Close on the pointed end. A drip of blood drips down to the ground. MAIN TITLE SEQUENCE: END MAIN TITLE SEQUENCE. INT. GOLF LINKS HOTEL - SAME NIGHT The party is over and Siobhan is at the door thanking everyone for coming. But before he can escape, the killer drags him back into the library. He takes him to the photocopier and slams his face onto the copying screen. The sofa goes over backwards and lands on top of the killer, the wire loosens and Tasha slips out of it. She runs to the door and tries to open, but the padlocks are on. The killer is struggling to get the sofa off him. Tasha reaches up for the top padlock, then kneels down and opens the bottom one, but before she can escape, the killer drags her across the floor. He picks her up and throws her over the top of the over turned sofa. She stands to have the killer run into her. She fights with him and they fight their way to the window. SIOBHAN Oh shit I forgot... She opens her bag and takes out the pictures. She hands them to Coar. COAR Why didn't you tell me earlier? He stands. SIOBHAN I forgot in all the commotion. The funeral's tomorrow. COAR Yeah, but I lost my daughter. SIOBHAN Does your wife know? COAR You mean ex-wife? No, I better call her. SIOBHAN How about you let me call her? You're in no state to talk to her. He searches his pockets. COAR Yeah, would you? He keeps searching his pockets. Then he remembers. COAR Shit. SIOBHAN What? COAR I dropped my mobile in the hallway. SIOBHAN That's OK; I'll ask one of the police crew. Werstein walks over. WERSTEIN Well, I guess we know there's a killer now. Siobhan looks disgusted at him. She stands up. SIOBHAN Come with me will you? She leads him beside the ambulance. WERSTEIN What is it? She pushes him up against the side of the van. SIOBHAN Are you stupid or something? Detective Coar's daughter has just been murdered and you can only find them words to say to him? Coar walks over. COAR It's OK. He's right, this shouldn't effect this case. Lay off Siobhan. Everything will turn out fine. Now I'm going to get some breakfast made, toast? SIOBHAN OK. AARON Do you want me to sort some clothes out from your bags? SIOBHAN No, you're all right. Aaron smiles and leaves the bathroom. EXT. GRAVEYARD A funeral car with pictures of Terri, Stacey, Tim and Karl in the back, also there are lots of flowers. (The reason there are pictures is because the bodies were never found). This car is followed by a lot of other cars with family and friends of the deceased inside them. INT. CHURCH There are rows of people dressed in black. Siobhan, Aaron, Shaun and Jane-Marie are on the front row as well as the relatives. The pictures are in a row at the altar and other flowers are also placed at the altar. The priest walks up to the stand where readings are read. PRIEST The poor young people that we have come here to remember on this sad morning were the victims of a terrible crime, they would have wanted to be remembered together so we are going to place a memorial for them all. We should learn not to be sad that our brothers and sisters are gone, but that they were here, that they had a good life and that now they have left us to join a better place. Some of the deceased's good friends have requested to do a reading. The priest signals to Siobhan and Aaron. They make it up to the stand. SIOBHAN 'I have decided to read this poem because it reminds me of how all of them were. When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road your trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low, and the debts are high, And you want to smile but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest, if you must, but don't you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As everyone of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out...' Siobhan cuts off, her throat feels weak and she is obviously beginning to sob. Aaron saves the day and takes over. AARON 'Don't give up though the pace may seem slow- You may succeed with another blow. Success is failure turned inside out- The silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you can never tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far. So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit- It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.' And they never did quit, whenever we or anyone were going through a tough time they always tried to help. Kept the brave face and made sure that we did as well. He smiles. AARON They will be missed. Siobhan is now crying. EXT. GRAVEYARD The people are stood around the memorial. PRIEST Thank you all of you for attending this sad event. Relatives begin to thank people for coming. Siobhan spots Coar sat on the graveyard wall and walks over. SIOBHAN Hi. COAR Hi. I just came to see if you were OK. You were brave to read that reading. She sits next to him and takes out a packet of fags. She takes one and lights it. She then offers Coar one, he takes one and she lights it for him. SIOBHAN Me? Brave? You sure you watched the right ceremony? So when's Karen's ceremony? Coar hesitates. COAR We haven't decided. SIOBHAN Are you OK detective? COAR Please, call me Martin. I don't feel like the detective anymore, I feel part of this... like all your friends... Siobhan puts her hand on his shoulder. SIOBHAN You are my friend, Bruce. Aaron walks over. AARON I didn't know you went for older men... SIOBHAN Shut up. COAR Who're you calling old? Aaron sits down. AARON Can I have one of those? Siobhan takes her fag packet out and hands him a cigarette. She gives him the lighter and he lights it. AARON So you going to the party? SIOBHAN Don't know, I don't really believe in celebrating someone's death... AARON It's not celebrating their death; it's celebrating that they've gone to a better place. SIOBHAN [To Coar] You want to come? COAR Yeah sure, I'll drive us. He stands. SIOBHAN No, it's not today. COAR Why not? AARON Terri's got a sister in Belgium and she can't come today. COAR Why couldn't they reschedule the funeral? SIOBHAN Her sister said she'd come today, but some crash happened so she couldn't make it and it was all booked in the church. COAR Oh right, so when is it? AARON Tomorrow. He sits back down. COAR So, how long are we going to be here? SIOBHAN You can go if you're bored. COAR No not at all, I want to be here. Siobhan smiles. EXT. ROAD - EVENING A car pulls up to the curb and Coar is driving it. Siobhan is sat in the front passenger seat. SIOBHAN Thanks for the ride. COAR No problem. Aaron gets out from the backseat. Siobhan stops and turns to Aaron. SIOBHAN Well. AARON Well. SIOBHAN Well I suppose you can go now. AARON Um, well I could, but... [Hesitates] But I don't want to. Siobhan smiles. INT. LIVING ROOM SIOBHAN Well what do you want? WERSTEIN Shouldn't I be asking you that? SIOBHAN Huh? WERSTEIN Yeah, why did you break into the file room last night? SIOBHAN What? What are you talking about? He gets closer and points his finger warningly at her. WERSTEIN I don't know what you were looking for, but be sure that it doesn't happen again! SIOBHAN But I was here all night. WERSTEIN Bullshit! I know you where there! Aaron enters. AARON Actually, she was here all night. He walks into the bathroom. SIOBHAN Is that enough proof for you? WERSTEIN I know it was you, even if you have got your friends to stick up for you! He leaves. INT. HALLWAY - EARLY AFTERNOON Siobhan's door opens and Aaron, now fully dressed, walks out. Siobhan stands at the door. AARON Are you sure you'll be OK? SIOBHAN I'll be fine. He kisses her on the cheek. AARON Bye. SIOBHAN See you. He walks down the hall and exits. We notice a thirty-something plump woman stood in her doorway down the hall. She laughs. NEIGHBOUR Ha! You got a good 'un there, love. SIOBHAN Excuse me? NEIGHBOUR Don't you let him go eh? 'Cause once there gone, you aren't ever going to get another! Siobhan smiles. A man's voice comes from inside the woman's house. MAN Betty close that god damn door! We're not supplying heat for the whole floor! BETTY We don't have any heating, because who spent the central heating money on booze? I wish someone had given me the advice I gave you before I married him. Siobhan laughs. SIOBHAN It can't be that bad, surely? BETTY Oh no, we're past bad! She walks inside. The killer grabs her by her hair and shoves the knife into her stomach, she screams. Then her drags her by the hair to the window, he raises her and throws her through the glass window. EXT. OUTSIDE She falls down and lands on a table, which then snaps in half. Siobhan is still outside, but Aaron has gone. Siobhan sees the dead body and screams and then looks up. The killer is peering out of the window at her. The killer then disappears inside. SIOBHAN Shit! She runs to the gate but it is locked. SIOBHAN Damn where the fuck is Aaron? Then she freezes. Is Aaron the killer? She looks in through the window to the kitchen, the door opens and the killer looks straight at her. She looks for an escape route. She sees the Flower trellises up the side of the building and begins climbing up. The killer pushes against the locked door of the kitchen. Then his fist smashes the window and he climbs through. INT. HALLWAY Tasha and Coar both look at where the sound of the smashing came from. TASHA What was that? COAR I don't know. He walks a little towards a room. EXT. OUTSIDE Siobhan glances down and nervously tries to get up the trellises as quick as possible. Suddenly the killer begins rattling the trellis hysterically, the frame begins to loosen and break in his hand. Siobhan worries and tries her best to get up the side as quick as possible. She gets to the top and reaches across the wall to the open window. She can't reach and the wood is going to crumble down any minute. She feels the trellis start to go and grabs onto the plastic guttering along side of the roof. The woodwork falls down missing the killer by centimetres. Siobhan looks down at the ground beneath her, if she fell now she was sure to be dead! She shimmies along the gutter to the window. Once above the window she raises her feet over the window ledge and swings into the room. INT. ROOM She rolls on the floor a bit but manages to get her balance back and stand up. She sees the dead body of the man Joanne was with and shields her mouth with her hand. SIOBHAN Oh fuck I've got to get out of here! She runs to the door and slowly creaks it open. INT. LANDING She peeps out of the room, there's no one around so she slowly walks out of the room. Then She slowly walks to the top of the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, Coar and Tasha are still there. SIOBHAN Coar! Tasha! They both look up at her. TASHA Siobhan! Suddenly the killer jumps out and pushes Tasha onto the floor. Siobhan screams and runs down the stairs. Coar takes an umbrella from the door and hits the killer hard in the side of the head. The killer falls over and Tasha gets up. The killer gets to his feet and hurls at Coar with the knife, he opens up the umbrella and the killer runs into it. COAR Tasha! Siobhan! Go get out of here! The go for the door but the killer gets up and blocks the way. They worry and run upstairs. Leaving Coar and the killer to fight. They run to lots of doors and push them open looking inside. They come to another and run in. INT. ROOM Jane-Marie is stood at the window she turns around and screams. JANE-MARIE Jesus! You guys scared me! Have you seen Shaun? SIOBHAN You didn't know you where still here! Where did you last see Shaun? JANE-MARIE He heard something and looked out the window. A table had been totally snapped in half. He went out the window. SIOBHAN Shit! There's a killer in the house! He already killed Joanne! TASHA I think I know who it is Siobhan. SIOBHAN What? Why didn't you say? TASHA I broke into the police file room and looked up some files on Shaun... JANE-MARIE Why Shaun? TASHA I thought it was him! But what I in fact found was on Officer Werstein. SIOBHAN What? What did you find? TASHA His Mum and Dad were both murdered in their home when Werstein was 16. SIOBHAN Why does that help us? TASHA He was the only person there at the time. He said he was upstairs in his room when it happened. SIOBHAN Why wasn't he arrested then? TASHA Well because they believed his story. SIOBHAN But why would he want to kill us? WERSTEIN (O. S) Good question. They all turn to the doorway; Werstein is stood there with a small gun. WERSTEIN Why would I want to kill anyone? They look worried. SIOBHAN No one said for definite it was you. WERSTEIN No, except that noisy bitch! He looks at Tasha. WERSTEIN The only person I'd want to kill is you! You probably did all this! TASHA What? I was attacked! WERSTEIN Or so you say, no one else witnessed it! TASHA Fuck you! WERSTEIN No, fuck you! He points the gun at her and she looks worried. SIOBHAN Werstein put the gun down! WERSTEIN Why should I? COAR (O. S) Because we said so! He turns to Coar; Coar pushes the gun out of his hand and punches him in the nose. Werstein falls over onto the bed. Siobhan picks up the gun. She points it at them all individually shifting from one to the other quickly. SIOBHAN Listen who the hell is doing this? Then her face goes from angry and frustrated to shocked and open- mouthed. We see the gun slowly drop from her hands. SIOBHAN It's Aaron. TASHA What? But it could be Shaun or even Jane. JANE-MARIE Hey! SIOBHAN No because she was with Shaun when Terri was murdered. JANE-MARIE What? I-I wasn't with Shaun that night. Siobhan looks confused. SIOBHAN But, but Shaun said that's why he wasn't at work. JANE-MARIE Well he's a lying son of a bitch then! TASHA That means it could be either Shaun or Aaron. Siobhan glances down at the gun on the floor, so does Tasha, they both dive onto the floor to retrieve it. It ends up in Tasha's possession. She points it around the room. Werstein stands up off the bed. TASHA We have to stick together if we're going to find out who the killer is. JANE-MARIE Why can't we just leave? TASHA No one goes anywhere until we get this son of a bitch locked up! Aaron runs into the room and Tasha points the gun at him. He puts his hands up and backs away slowly. AARON Wow, hey calm down. What's going on? SIOBHAN You tell us! AARON Tell you what? Shaun walks into the room with a kitchen knife. SHAUN Tell them how you attacked me! AARON What? What the fuck are you talking about? SHAUN It's him Tasha! Shoot the motherfucker! Tasha is torn between decisions is it Shaun are Aaron? Coar looks like he's planning something. SHAUN He did, it's him. TASHA How do we know it's not you? SHAUN It's not. TASHA Then what's with the knife? SHAUN I grabbed it for protection. SIOBHAN Well where were you one the night when Terri was murdered? SHAUN With Jane. JENE-MARIE No you weren't! SHAUN What? Yes I was! SIOBHAN Stop! We need to sort this out! JANE-MARIE Eeny meeny miny mo? Tasha closes her eyes and fires randomly, it shoots towards Aaron and he jumps out of the way onto the floor. Tasha pulls the trigger again but the gun is out of bullets. TASHA What the fuck? AARON That's what I want to know, you were going to kill me! TASHA Get over it, Aaron. How often do you use this? She looks at Werstein. Suddenly Coar jumps onto Shaun's back and knocks him onto the floor. Shaun slashes out at Shaun and cuts into his chest but doesn't kill him. Coars rolls over onto his back. Shaun gets up to have Siobhan punch him in the face, he drops the knife and Siobhan picks it up. She points it at Shaun and Aaron who are both on the floor. SHAUN It's not me, that was self defence, he attacked me. SIOBHAN Who the fuck is doing this? AARON Siobhan, you know I wouldn't do this! I couldn't! Suddenly Shaun's foot lashes out and trips Siobhan up, she falls onto her back and drops the knife, Shaun picks it up and stands. SHAUN He's right, he could never do this; he's too soft. But me, I'm not! The room fills with shocked expressions. TASHA You? You sick bastard! JANE-MARIE What? Shaun? No, what are you saying. SHAUN You know what I'm saying. JANE-MARIE You don't love me do you? TASHA Is that all you're worried about? JANE-MARIE Shut up. SHAUN No Jane, you shut up! Shaun raises the knife as if about to throw it. Jane-Marie makes a run to the door. SHAUN Look out! He throws the knife and it plants itself into her chest, Siobhan gets off the floor and screams. Jane-Marie falls over dead. SIOBHAN How can you do that? She had nothing to do with it, you're just crazy! SHAUN Crazy for you Siobhan. SIOBHAN What's that suppose to mean? SHAUN Don't worry, you'll find out soon. Shaun takes a gun out of his pocket. SHAUN Now this is what I really need! We see Werstein slowly un-strapping a gun from a gun holder on his ankle. Without even looking at him, Shaun points the gun and shoots him dead between the eyes. He faces Coar and points the gun. SHAUN Now you've been a pain in my arse for ages! He shoots him in the chest. Coar falls onto the bed. Shaun points the gun at the remaining three people. AARON Why did you do all this? SHAUN Why? That's the question that always gets me in horror movies! Why can't someone just be psychotic? TASHA So you're just a psychopath? Shaun turns and points his gun at her. SHAUN Now I never said I didn't have a reason. So don't get smart with me bitch. SIOBHAN Whatever it was, I don't think it's so bad that you have to go on a killing spree! He points the gun at her head. SHAUN What would you know? This is your entire fault! SIOBHAN My fault? How is this my fault? SHAUN They always got in the way, you always wanted them around, I never had a chance to express my feelings to you! SIOBHAN Feelings? What are you talking about? SHAUN All the people you cared for, all the people you loved, well now they're gone, no more living in secrecy! SIOBHAN What, you and I? Never in a million years! Shaun's face fills with anger. SHAUN Now this is what pisses me off! I did all this for you! SIOBHAN You think this is what I wanted? You think I'd want all my friends dead just so I could be with you? Well there's something you should know, I never felt anything for you! Shaun growls in anger and pulls his fist back getting ready to hit Siobhan. But suddenly Aaron pushes him sideways onto the floor. Shaun drops the gun and they fight forcefully for a while. Siobhan dives down for the gun and picks it up. She pulls the top back but before she can take aim on him, Shaun pulls on her ankle and she falls over causing the gun to fly through the air into the centre of the room. Aaron looks face to face at Shaun. AARON You want her? Well I've got news for you! She's mine! He punches him in the face. Shaun throws him off onto the floor and scurries across the floor to the gun, he picks it up and sees Tasha running for the door, he shoots but we don't see where the bullet goes but Tasha falls over onto the floor on her front clutching her stomach. She doesn't move. SIOBHAN Tasha! Shaun stands and points the gun down at Siobhan. SHAUN One step closer to being together, Siobhan! SIOBHAN FUCK YOU! SHAUN Don't worry, Siobhan, I will do soon! He walks over to Aaron who is just getting up off the floor. SHAUN Are you ready Aaron? AARON Are you? He grabs a vase of flowers off a table and smashes it over Shaun's head. Water and flowers flow down his and he falls over with a bit of blood dripping from his head. He lays still. Aaron slowly walks over to Siobhan and helps her up to her feet. SIOBHAN Is he dead? They look over at him, but he is gone and in his place is a small puddle of blood. AARON Shit! Aaron paces quickly around the room. SIOBHAN Aaron? AARON Yeah? SIOBHAN Where's Tasha? He looks over at where Tasha once was; she is indeed gone. He walks over and realises and bullet hole in the doorframe. AARON The bullet never hit her! SIOBHAN Do you think she's part of it? AARON No, she was attacked or so she says. SIOBHAN We better go. She walks to the door and Shaun jumps out pointing the gun at her again. As his feet pass the gun holder on Werstein's ankle we see that the gun inside is gone. We zoom in on it. Shaun then points the gun at Aaron. SHAUN Finally I can get this over with! SIOBHAN NO! She jumps in and grabs Shaun's arms. She fights him causing the gun to point into the air. The gun shoots and hits the light and the room turns to darkness. Then Shaun leaps into Siobhan knocking her onto her back and causing Shaun to land on top of her. He sits up and points the gun at her head. SHAUN Don't make me kill you Siobhan. SIOBHAN Go on, Shaun; shoot me, here is your chance! He hesitates. SHAUN Don't press my button, girl! SIOBHAN I thought I'd already done that, isn't that why you're doing this? She pushes him off her chest and gets up. Her and Aaron run out of the room. INT. LANDING They run to the stairs and Siobhan runs down first with Aaron following. INT. HALLWAY They get to the bottom and turn towards the door, Tasha steps out in front of them with the gun. Siobhan screams and they turn back to the stairs and run up. TASHA No WAIT! She follows them. INT. LANDING Siobhan and Aaron run to the far side of the room and turn around. Tasha is just coming up the stairs she slowly approaches them. TASHA Listen, I'm not going to hurt anyone. Then the airing cupboard door behind her opens and Shaun steps out with his gun. SIOBHAN LOOK OUT! Tasha turns and points the gun. TASHA Except for maybe you! He points his gun. SHAUN Not if I kill you first. He fires at her but she jumps out of the way and clings onto the banister. Shaun walks over to her and hits her hard in the side of the head with the gun. She falls onto the floor and her eyes slowly close. He takes the gun from her hand and walks towards Siobhan and Aaron. He points one gun at each of them. SHAUN Now who to kill first? SIOBHAN You wouldn't! SHAUN I think I've already proved I have the courage to take lives, don't you? He smiles an evil grin. AARON You're a sick motherfucker! SHAUN That's right and you're a brave son of a bitch to say that to me. He grabs him by the neck and pushes him up against the wall. He puts the gun to his chest. SHAUN The heart or the head, take your pick! AARON The head, but not mine, YOURS! Suddenly a wooden chair hits Shaun in the back, he falls over, letting go of Aaron and dropping both guns. He looks up to see Tasha. SHAUN Bitch! He grabs a piece of wood off the floor and rattles it on her legs. She falls down onto floor and he hits her in the head with it. She falls flat on her back. He then stands and hits Aaron in the head as well, he also falls over. SHAUN There, in the head. Then he walks over to Siobhan who has her arms behind her back, she looks worried. He places his hand on her cheek. SHAUN Don't worry, now we can be together. SIOBHAN You wish. She pulls her arm from behind her back to reveal one of the guns in her hand; she presses it against his stomach. SIOBHAN You know I used to have a crush on you, but now you've ruined any chance of being with me! She pulls the trigger and he spits blood into her face. He pushes on the gun and lures him back towards the banister. She fires again and he hits the banister hard, it splinters, she then raises the gun for the third time to his chest. SIOBHAN Good-bye honey. She shoots him for the final time and the banister gives way causing him to fall down to the bottom of the stairs. Siobhan rushes to the side of the banister and looks down at Shaun's body. On angle: looking up on Siobhan staring down at Shaun. She walks over to Aaron who is still alive and helps him up. Tasha also gets up and walks towards them. SIOBHAN You're alive! TASHA Yeah well I don't feel like it. They all smile. SIOBHAN It's finally all over. Then Coar stumbles out of the room and over to them. He falls but Siobhan catches him in her arms. SIOBHAN Whoa take it easy! COAR Shit I'm glad this is all over! AARON Me too. We hear police sirens. COAR Typical, they arrive five years after it's finished! They slowly make their way down the stairs, stepping over Shaun's body. EXT. CAR PARK Police cars and ambulances are in the car park and most police have their doors open and are standing over the top of them with guns pointed. The barmaid is stood low behind one ambulance. The door of the hotel slowly opens and out step the four remaining survivors. SIOBHAN It's all - it's all over. The killer has been given a taste of his own medicine! The police and medics begin to relax. Aaron, Tasha and Coar walk into the car park and a police officer walks up to Siobhan. POLICEMAN Where are the bodies? A medic walks over. We see Coar walk up to the barmaid. COAR What took you so long? BARMAID They didn't believe me. COAR Did you say I sent you? BARMAID We got here as fast as we could OK? COAR So, you want to get a drink or something? BARMAID Is that a date proposal? COAR Indeed it is. BARMAID I'd be honoured. They walk away talking quietly towards the back doors of an ambulance. COAR So what's you name? BARMAID Jemima. COAR That's a beautiful name. JEMIMA You think so? I hate it. Aaron and Tasha walk over to an ambulance and sit in it. TASHA Think we can be quiet? He looks at her with a 'Don't be stupid' look on his face. TASHA I was joking! Back to the policeman and Siobhan. SIOBHAN ... And the killer; Shaun Ferloe, is at the bottom of the stairs. The medic interrupts. MEDIC Actually, we didn't find any body at the bottom of the stairs. SIOBHAN What? She runs back into the house. INT. HALLWAY She pushes past the people surrounding the bottom of the stairs and looks at the empty steps of the stairs. Her mouth drops open as we zoom in on the terrified look on her face.
