STACEY CORLE walks through a crowd of dancing people to the entrance
	of the hotel.

	EXT. GOLF LINKS CAR PARK

She sees a guy across the road; he's sat on the small metal fence
	around the giant golf course.

She walks to the edge of the road, and shouts: -

					STACEY
			TIM? Is that you?

The man turns around to reveal he is TIM FULLER.
	He stands up.

					TIM
			Hey, Stacey.

Stacey quickly runs across the road to Tim.

					STACEY
Hi, Tim, what're you doing out here?

					TIM
			Getting some peace.

Tim steps over the fence and starts walking down the green. Stacey
	follows.

					STACEY
I get what you mean, it's mad in there.

					TIM
Well it is Siobhan's 18th, to her, it's a really
special age. Being able to drink alcohol
	 		and all.

					STACEY
Yeah, she gets to do everything she's
been doing since she was 15.

	TIM
				[Laughs]
Yeah, we had some fun times.

					STACEY
Well, I guess it's time to grow up and
			move on.

					TIM
Why did you dump me for Shaun?

					STACEY
Tim, we were 13. Forget about it.

					TIM
But why did you do it?

					STACEY
Well, at the time, you were... well...
err; you had the most hideous specs
and you were like, so much of a...
	 		geek.

					TIM
Then why did you ask me out?

					STACEY
Well, I knew you fancied me...

					TIM
So I was a last resort until Shaun
			came along?

					STACEY
Well, Shaun was so cool and smart.

					TIM
Smart? Why did he become a shop
			assistant then?

					STACEY
Oh stop moaning, you sound like a
			frustrated cat.

There's a long silence as they walk deeper into the darkness of the
	golf course.

					STACEY
You know, I'd like to give it another go,
			if you want to

					TIM
			Really?

					STACEY
			Yeah.

They turn to each other and their lips get closer, but suddenly a
raindrop hits Stacey's hand. And she backs off.

					STACEY
			Shit!

					TIM
				[Sighs]
Took the words right out of my mouth.

					STACEY
			It's starting to rain.

					TIM
			No bullshit!

					STACEY
			We better start heading back.

	Tim grabs her hand.

					TIM
How's a bit of rain going to affect us?

	The rain grows much harder.

	  				TIM
			On second thoughts, let's go.

They begin running, suddenly as if from nowhere, a flag [the one's
they keep in the holes] whips out and hits Tim in the head, he falls
side ways into the bunker. He grips his bloody head.
Stacey turns around to see a person in a black hooded coat and a
balaclava with the flag in his hands, he swings the flag at her but
she ducks and falls over. Tim stands up behind the killer but the
killer rams the flag backwards and the pointed part sticks into his
chest and it comes out the other end. Stacey stands up and screams.
The killer emerges Stacey; she makes a run for it.
Running down the massive golf course, screaming. The killer walks
	after her in no rush.
Stacey comes to trees at the other end of the golf course.

											CUT TO:

	INT. GOLF LINKS HOTEL

SIOBHAN LOWELL walks up to AARON GARL with a blue 'wicked' in her
	hands.

					SIOBHAN
			Aaron, where's Stacey?

					AARON
			Don't know I haven't seen Tim either.

					SIOBHAN
			Oh, well that explains it.
				[Laughs]

					AARON
			Want to dance Siobhan?

					SIOBHAN
			Why sure good sir.

They walk onto the dance floor.

											CUT TO:

	EXT. TREES

Stacey runs through the trees, crying, branches scrape her face.

Stacey's POV; running through the woods, pushing branches out of the
way, suddenly the killer jumps out in front of her.

He rams her up against a tree.

					STACEY
				[Crying]
			No, please. Leave me alone.

She suddenly knees him in the balls, he growls and she pushes him
	over. She begins running again.
After a while of running, she stops, realising the killer isn't
	following her.

View from behind Stacey, the silhouette of the killer lowers himself
down from a tree. Stacey turns around and screams. He kicks her in
the stomach and she goes back into a tree. He rams the flag through
her stomach and it comes through the other side of the tree.

Close on the pointed end. A drip of blood drips down to the ground.

	MAIN TITLE SEQUENCE:

	END MAIN TITLE SEQUENCE.

INT. GOLF LINKS HOTEL - SAME NIGHT

The party is over and Siobhan is at the door thanking everyone for
	coming. Aaron comes to her.

					AARON
Tim and Stacey still haven't turned up.

					SIOBHAN
			They might have left early.

					AARON
They would have told us; they're not like that.

					SIOBHAN
Well, I'll ring up Stacey's house.

					AARON
			What about Tim?

					JANINE
			He might be with her.

					AARON
Yeah, I guess your right. I'll see you tomorrow.

					SIOBHAN
Not sure you will, think I'll have a lie in. What time
			is it?

					AARON
				[Looks at watch]
			Almost twenty past two.

					SIOBHAN
			I'll see you.

					AARON
			Right *YAWN* bye.

INT. STACEY'S HOUSE - NEXT MORNING

Zoom in on phone, it rings, a shadow passes over it. The phone rings
for a while then the machine comes on.

					RECORDED STACEY
Hi, it's Stacey; I can't come to the phone right now,
so leave a message after the beep.

	*BEEP*

					SIOBHAN ON PHONE
Stacey? This is the 5th message I've left. Why'd
you leave so early last night? Well, err call me
			back K?

	FADE OUT.
FADE BACK IN ON STACEY'S FLAT DOOR.

Siobhan knocks on it and it opens. She walks in and everything is all
over the floor and things have been broken.

					SIOBHAN
			Oh shit.

She walks through the mess. She takes out her mobile and dials a
number. She puts her phone to her ear.

					SIOBHAN
Hello? Police? This is Siobhan Lowell, I'm reporting
a suspected robbery, yeah it's room 20 in the flat block
down Carla road, yeah see you.

moans. The phone continues to ring. The answering machine comes on.

					SIOBHAN ON MACHINE
Why do I keep getting the machine? Wake your lazy
			arse up you lazy bast-

Aaron leans over and picks up the phone.

					AARON
			OK, OK, what is it?

					SIOBHAN
			I'm at Stacey's flat.

					AARON
			She turned up yet?

					SIOBHAN
No, not yet. Her flat has been ransacked.

					AARON
You're joking! Has anything gone missing?

					SIOBHAN
			Yeah Stacey.

	Aaron sighs.

					AARON
I'm sure she'll turn up. I got to go, bye.

	INT. STACEY'S FLAT

The police have now arrived and are looking around.

					SIOBHAN
			Bye.

She hangs up. A police detective walks over.

					DETECTIVE
			Siobhan?

					SIOBHAN
			Yes?

					DETECTIVE
I'm Detective Coar we've found something.

He takes her over to the answering machine.

					DET. COAR
			Play it.

Someone presses play on the machine.

					STACEY'S MUM
Hi, Stacey, it's mum, the bedroom's all set up you can
			come
			and stay now. Bye.

					SIOBHAN
Oh right. But that doesn't explain the ransacking.

					DET. COAR
Yes, but it explains the disappearance.
I think it's best you left.

					SIOBHAN
			Oh, OK.

	Siobhan leaves the flat.

	INT. SAINSBURYS - EVENING

Siobhan walks through the shop, pushing a trolley. SHAUN FERLOE walks
up to her with a pricing gun.

					SHAUN
Siobhan, have you heard from Stacey?

					SIOBHAN
Oh, hi Shaun. No, she's at her mothers.

					SHAUN
I spoke to her mother on my lunch break.
			she never turned up.

					SIOBHAN
I think something's happened to her. Her
			flat has been ransacked.

					SHAUN
What do you think has happened to her?

	SIOBHAN
I dread to think, but I'm going to find out!

					SHAUN
Well, if you see Terri, tell her I can't meet
her tonight, I have to work.

					SIOBHAN
			Can't you ring her up?

	SHAUN
I've got no credit on my phone.

					SIOBHAN
			OK, see you, Shaun.

					SHAUN
			Bye.

	INT. TERRI'S FLAT

TERRI ADREN is at the bathroom mirror putting mascara on. She
finishes and puts the mascara into her handbag. She then takes out
	some lipstick.
The phone rings so she goes into the hall and picks it up.

					TERRI
			Hello Shaun.

					SIOBHAN
Well that's a new answer I've never got to
			a phone call.

					TERRI
Oh, hi Siobhan. He can't come can he?

					SIOBHAN
			No, sorry, Terri.

					TERRI
				[Throws herself onto the settee]
Well, thanks for telling me, bye.

					SIOBHAN
			Bye.

She stands and puts the phone down. She walks into the kitchen and
takes the chicken out of the oven. She tips it into the bin, shoves
the tray into the sink, turns the cooker off and walks into the
living room. A video is on top of the TV. She takes it and shoves it
into the tape recorder. She grabs the remote and sits on the sofa.
She presses a button on the remote and the screen with all them
numbers and the name of the movie comes on.
At the bottom, it says... 'Moulin Rouge'

	Fade out...

	Fade in...

It is now very dark through the window and the credits are rolling
now on the TV. Terri is asleep, sprawled out on the sofa. The credits
end and the screen goes fuzzy. Terri wakes up. She sits up and wipes
her eyes. She yawns and gets to her feet. She walks to the video
recorder and presses the 'Eject' button. The video comes out, she
pulls on it and all the tape inside it stretches out, it's ruined.

					TERRI
			SHIT! NO!

She pulls the whole video out and tries to wind the tape back in.

View on the block of knives on the kitchen side. All the knives are
	in it.

View back on Terri winding the tape in.

When we go back to the block of knives, one is missing.

View behind Terri, a shadow falls over her. Terri sees the shadow on
the TV screen. She slowly turns.

					TERRI
			Shaun?

She turns fully and sees the killer! He raises the kitchen knife.
Terri screams. The killer lunges the knife at Terri, she jumps away
and the killer knocks the TV off its table, it smashes. The phone
	rings. Terri picks it up.

					TERRI
HELP ME! SOMEBODY! CALL THE POLICE!

					SIOBHAN
TERRI? What's wrong? What's going on?

	TERRI
			CALL THE POLICE!

The killer slashes the phone line in half.

	EXT. SAINSBURY'S CAR PARK

Siobhan runs up to the entrance and runs in. She runs up to the main
	desk.

			this morning.

					SIOBHAN
But, he told me he had to work, he told me
			to tell his girlfriend.

					WOMAN
Sorry, I don't know what to say, he's not here.

Things start to piece together into Siobhan's head. She gasps.

					WOMAN
			What is it?

					SIOBHAN
			I've got to go.

She runs out of the shop.

	INT. TERRI'S FLAT

The killer punches Terri hard and she slides over the kitchen side
onto the cold tiled floor. She backs back into a cupboard. The killer
lifts her up by the neck.

View of the knife swinging back

	 INT. HALLWAY

Siobhan comes to Terri's door and begins banging on the door. Inside
	she hears screaming.

					SIOBHAN
			TERRI!

	INT. TERRI'S FLAT

The knife is pulled from Terri's chest and pierced back in several
times as Siobhan bangs hysterically on the door.

	INT. HALLWAY

Siobhan is still up against the door, banging on it. The door flies
open, knocking her onto the floor where she lies unconscious. The
killer drags her into the room.

	FADE TO BLACKNESS...

	INT. HOSPITAL ROOM

Siobhan is led on the hospital bed; she wakes up to see Shaun by her
	bedside.

					SHAUN
			You OK?

Siobhan sits bolt upright staring nervously at him.

					SIOBHAN
			Where were you last night?

					SHAUN
			I told you, working.

					SIOBHAN
I called in you weren't there!

Shaun bows his head in shame.

					SIOBHAN
			Where were you?

	Silence.

					SIOBHAN
			WHERE?

					SHAUN
			I heard you!

He takes his wallet out and opens it. He hands it to Siobhan.
She looks at the picture; it shows Shaun and another woman.
	Siobhan is shocked.

					SHAUN
Her name is Jane-Marie, Jane-Marie Hughes.
It's been going on for a month now.

					SIOBHAN
			I thought... I...

					SHAUN
			I know what you thought.

					SIOBHAN
Do you believe me when I say there's a killer on
			the loose?

	Shaun looks nervous.

					SHAUN
			Well, I...

					SIOBHAN
Stacey's flat was ransacked, explain that, explain
			the phone call.

					SHAUN
			What phone call?

					SIOBHAN
I rang Terri up last night and I heard her
screaming and shouting 'Call the police.'

					SHAUN
Oh god, have you told the police?

					SIOBHAN
			I've been unconscious remember?

					SHAUN
			Oh right, yeah.

					SIOBHAN
			Get them in here.

Suddenly JANE-MARIE HUGHES bustles in with some balloons. She looks
	shocked and so does Siobhan.

					JANE-MARIE
Oh, when your mum said you were at the
			hospital, I thought...

					SHAUN
			Hi, Jane.

					SIOBHAN
			Hi, Jane.

					JANE-MARIE
				[To Siobhan]
			Well, want some balloons?

	INT. CAFé

Siobhan is sat at a table and so are Shaun and Jane-Marie.

					JANE-MARIE
			You were cheating on me?

					SIOBHAN
No, he was cheating on her.

					JANE-MARIE
			I was the other woman?

Siobhan looks amused, but sips her cappuccino to cover up her
	amusement.
KARL GERMONT comes over with his coffee.

					KARL
			Hi, guys.

					SIOBHAN
			Hi Karl.

					SHAUN
			Hi Karl.

					JANE-MARIE
			May I be excused?

	She runs into the toilets.
Aaron enters. He walks over to them.

					AARON
			Hi. Who was that?

					SIOBHAN
You mean the hysterical bitch that ran into
			the loo?

					AARON
			Yeah.

					KARL
			Shaun's girlfriend

					AARON
			That wasn't Terri.

					SIOBHAN
Yeah, it was Shaun's other girlfriend.

					AARON
			Two girlfriends? Far out!

					SIOBHAN
			Well, one girlfriend now.

					SHAUN
Siobhan thinks Terri has been murdered.

					SIOBHAN
Not thinks, knows. And so have Stacey and Tim.

					AARON
There's been nought in the papers.

					SIOBHAN
That's because he keeps covering it up. He
			attacked me last night.

					SHAUN
We don't know that was him. That could have
been an alive Terri opening the door and when
she saw you, brought you in and put you on the
			sofa.

					SIOBHAN
Why would she leave without calling the hospital?

					SHAUN
Siobhan, this is bullshit! There is no killer!

					SIOBHAN
You haven't been attacked! Tell me where Stacey is
			then?

					SHAUN
She may have gone to stay with friends.

					SIOBHAN
Without telling her mum or us?

					SHAUN
Siobhan, just lay off, they'll turn up!

	Jane-Marie comes back in.

					JANE-MARIE
			I'm ready to go.

	She leaves.

					SHAUN
			I'll see you guys.

	He leaves as well.

					KARL
			Dick head. You OK, Siobhan?

					SIOBHAN
			Fine. You believe me, right?

	They hesitate.

					KARL
			Yeah, course we do.

She looks at Aaron, he puts his hands over hers.

					AARON
I'll always back you up, Siobhan.

She smiles. TASHA MORGE walks over in her waitress outfit.

					TASHA
Hey, Aaron, I'm off early want to buy me
			a drink?

					AARON
			Sure, Tasha.

He stares at her as if in a trance. Siobhan looks jealous. Tasha
	walks away.

					SIOBHAN
			You'll regret that, she's poison.

					KARL
And the hint of jealousy grows.

					SIOBHAN
			What?

					KARL
Don't deny it. You were totally jealous.

	Aaron stands.

					AARON
Well, I'm sorry; I've already got someone. Too
			late!

					SIOBHAN
			What? I am not jealous!

					KARL
			Bullshit!

	INT. KITCHEN OF CAFé

	Tasha walks through the kitchen. She goes to her locker and opens it;
she takes her apron off and shoves it into her locker. Her boss,
	SHERYL DEGREEN walks over.

					SHERYL
			What are you doing?

					TASHA
			I'm off early.

					SHERYL
			You're not.

					TASHA
			Well I am now.

					SHERYL
If you walk out that door, you will not be
			coming back!

					TASHA
Am I supposed to act interested?

She grabs her bag and leaves.

					SHERYL
			BITCH! DON'T COME BACK.

Tasha sticks her middle finger up at her.
Sheryl walks over and leans on a wall near a door. The door opens and
	the killer pulls Sheryl in.

	INT. PUB - EARLY EVENING

Jane-Marie is sat at a table. She seems very unhappy. Shaun comes
over with their drinks; he stretches out his arm to give Jane-Marie
her drink. She ignores him and he puts the drink down in front of her
then sits down next to her. He takes a sip of his drink. Jane-Marie
just sits there still and silent.

					SHAUN
			I'm sorry OK?

					JANE-MARIE
Sorry? Isn't that a bit late?

					SHAUN
			It won't happen again.

					JANE-MARIE
			Damn well it won't!

					SHAUN
I don't know how to make it up to you.

					JANE-MARIE
Well think fast, I'm turning over in my head whether
			to leave you.

Shaun stands and puts his coat on.

					JANE-MARIE
			Where are you going?

					SHAUN
			I'm taking you out.

					JANE-MARIE
			But we're already out.

					SHAUN
			I'm taking you out properly.

					JANE-MARIE
			To a restaurant?

					SHAUN
			That's right.

Jane-Marie stands and grabs her coat. They are about to leave when...

	   				MAN
			Mate?

Shaun turns and looks at the man.

					SHAUN
			Yeah?

					MAN
			You drinking those?

	He points to their drinks.

					SHAUN
			No, help yourself mate.

					MAN
			Thanks.

Shaun and Jane-Marie leave as the man and his friends help themselves
	to their drinks.

	EXT. ROAD

A car pulls up in front of a large building.

	INT. CAR

Aaron is in the driving seat and Tasha is with him. She leans over
and starts kissing him. She pulls away.

					TASHA
			Want to come upstairs for...

					AARON
Coffee? No one's ever pulled that trick on
me without vodka and a shag, so I'd love to.

They get out of the car and climb the steps to the door. They enter
and go to Tasha's room door. She takes out a key and unlocks the
	door.

	INT. TASHA'S ROOM

Tasha enters, closes the door and pushes Aaron up onto the wall,
kissing him. She drops the keys and takes off her coat, throwing that
	on the floor as well.
They make their way into the small living room and lie down on the
	sofa. Still kissing romantically.

	INT. KAREN COAR'S FLAT

KAREN COAR (Det. Martin Coar's daughter) is sat on her sofa eating a
packet of crisps whilst watching TV. We hear a door creaking. Karen
turns her head to see who came in but no one is there and the door is
	just open.
She stands up and walks to the door, she looks outside into the empty
hallway. Suddenly Karl jumps out behind her and touches her shoulder,
	she jumps and turns around.

					KAREN
			KARL!

She thumps him in the chest. He is laughing.

					KAREN
			Don't do that!

					KARL
			Sorry, sorry!

					KAREN
			So, what're you doing here?

She goes back and sits down on the sofa.

					KARL
			I wanted to see you.

					KAREN
So what're you really doing here?

					KARL
I wanted to see if you want to go out.

					KAREN
That sounds more like it, you want to go out
			and get pissed.

					KARL
Come on its Sunday. We always used to go out
			on Sunday.

					KAREN
If you want to go and get drunk you can do that
yourself unless you need someone to hold your
			hand?

					KARL
More like someone to carry me out.

					KAREN
I don't feel like going out.

					KARL
Fine I'll stay here with you then.

Karen smiles and Karl sits down next to her.

					KARL
			So what're we watching?

Karl is very disappointed. Karen sighs.

					KAREN
			The beers in the fridge.

					KARL
			Nice one!

Karl gets up and walks into the kitchen.

	INT. FANCY RESTAURANT

Shaun and Jane-Marie walk in and sit at a table. They start looking
through their menus. A waiter comes over.

					WAITER
Have you decided what you will be eating?

	Shaun looks up at him.

					SHAUN
I'll have a roast chicken and salad.

					JANE-MARIE
Ooh me too. And we'll have a bottle of your most
			expensive wine!

	Shaun's eyes dart to her.

					WAITER
			And for desert?

					JANE-MARIE
We'll both have a double helping of your strawberry
			ice cream sundae.

					WAITER
			Good choice.

The waiter takes the menus off them and walks away.

					SHAUN
Are you trying to empty my wallet?

					JANE-MARIE
Of course and when we get home I think we'll order
			a Chinese takeaway.

					SHAUN
What? This meal has already mutilated my life
			savings!

					JANE-MARIE
Well I could always find someone else.

					SHAUN
			No!

	INT. SIOBHAN'S FLAT

The door opens and in comes Siobhan. She doesn't seem very happy. She
walks into the kitchen and puts the kettle on. She takes out a cup
and puts a teabag in it. She goes and opens the fridge, taking out
	some milk.
The kettle finishes boiling, so she grabs a teaspoon from the drawer
and pours the boiling water into the cup. She stirs it and pours in
some milk, just as there is a knock on the door. She puts the
teaspoon into the sink and takes her cup of tea to the door. She
	looks through the peeping hole.

Siobhan's POV: its Detective Coar and some other guy.

She opens the door and lets them in.

					SIOBHAN
What can I do you for?

					DET. COAR
Ms. Lowell, this is my partner, Detective
Chris Werstein. You're going to have to
come down to the station with us.

					SIOBHAN
			What?

COAR takes the cup from her and Werstein handcuffs her hands behind
	her back.

					SIOBHAN
			What are you doing?

					DET. WERSTEIN
Ms. Siobhan Lowell, we are arresting you
under suspicion of murder, you do not have
to say anything, but anything you do say
will be mentioned in the court of law. However
it will harm your defence if you fail to answer
when questioned something you will later rely
			on in court.

					SIOBHAN
			What's going? Murder?

					DET. COAR
You'll do well to keep quiet, Ms. Lowell.

	INT. SHAUN'S FLAT

Jane-Marie wakes up in bed and Shaun isn't next to her. She gets up
out of the bed and walks to the door.

	INT. LIVING ROOM

Jane-Marie walks in. A smash is heard causing Jane-Marie to jump
	slightly.

	     				JANE-MARIE
				(Very quiet)
			Shaun? Are you here?

She walks to a coffee table and picks up a vase. She slowly walks to
the kitchen doorway and looks inside; there is smashed crockery all
over the floor from a plate that has fallen. Jane-Marie slowly looks
	around. Nothing. Then...

					SHAUN
			Oh shit what happened?

She jumps and drops the vase. It also smashes.

					JANE-MARIE
Fuck would you not do that?

					SHAUN
Well we better start clearing up the mess.

Shaun walks to the fridge, stretches up and grabs a dustpan and brush
off the top of the fridge. He leans down and starts clearing up the
	mess.

					SHAUN
			How did it happen?

					JANE-MARIE
I don't know, it must have been on the edge and
			fallen off the side.

					SHAUN
So what was with the vase?

					JANE-MARIE
I thought someone was here. Where were you?

					SHAUN
I just got up to go to the bog. Go back to bed if
			you want.

					JANE-MARIE
			You sure?

					SHAUN
			Yeah go ahead.

	She goes back to bed.

	EXT. POLICE STATION CAR PARK

A police car pulls up and Coar gets out of the driving seat, Werstein
gets out the other side and opens the back door so Siobhan can get
out. Siobhan just looks at him.

					WERSTEIN
			You can get out now.

	Siobhan sighs and gets out.

					SIOBHAN
This is a mistake, I didn't kill anyone.

					WERSTEIN
We'll decide whether you're innocent thank you
			very much.

	They walk into the station.

	INT. INVESTIGATION ROOM

Coar and Werstein stand behind the mirror sided glass. They are
looking in on Siobhan. Coar enters the room where Siobhan is sat
down. Coar presses the button on the recorder.

					COAR
Interrogation started at five minutes past ten PM.

					SIOBHAN
Why the hell am I here?

					COAR
			Well, Terri Adren's next-door neighbour
claims she saw someone of your
description at Terri's door around the time
that we suspect she was murdered.

					SIOBHAN
			So she was murdered?

					COAR
We're not sure. But we think.

					SIOBHAN
So you want my side of the story?

					COAR
Was it you? I mean were you there?

					SIOBHAN
Yes, it was. This is how it was... I met up
with her boyfriend Shaun in Sainsburys,
			where he works...

					COAR
Why did you meet up with him?

					SIOBHAN
Stacey Corle's mother had rang him up to say
that Stacey had never arrived at her house, I
assume you know Stacey isn't at her mothers?

					COAR
			Yes.

					SIOBHAN
Anyway, he told me to tell Terri that he couldn't
see her because he was working. So after I'd
finished shopping I rang up Terri and told her.
Later I rang her up to see if she was all right. She's
very sensitive, see. And I got a scream for an answer
she was shouting call the police. I panicked I ran
into sainsburys to tell Shaun. But he wasn't there.
He'd been having an affair. So I called the police.

					COAR
Can you explain why you were at Stacey's hou-?

					SIOBHAN
				[Beginning to sob]
I've known Terri all my life. And Shaun, and to
think that fuck was sleeping with someone else
whilst his girlfriend was being murdered.

					COAR
We can finish this interview later if you like?

Siobhan nods and wipes her eyes.

					COAR
Tape paused at ten minutes past ten PM.

	He pauses the tape.

	INT. POLICE HALLWAY

Coar exits the room and Werstein walks up to him. They start walking
	down the hall.

					WERSTEIN
			Has she confessed?

					COAR
			It's not her.

					WERSTEIN
			What?

					COAR
If she was acting, she should win an Oscar.

					WERSTEIN
Anyone can act convincingly if their future
			is on the line.

					COAR
			Listen, Chris. I believe her!

					WERSTEIN
			Well, I don't!

					COAR
[Stops walking and turns to him]
This is my case too. You don't take her down
unless you convince me she's guilty!

Werstein storms off and Coar carries on walking.

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE TASHA'S FLAT - MORNING

Tasha's door opens and Aaron comes out. Tasha stands at the door with
	a quilt around.

					TASHA
You sure you have to go?

					AARON
I've got a job and so do you.

					TASHA
			Not anymore.

He kisses her and leaves. She goes back into her flat.
Aaron comes out of the building onto the pavement; it is raining so
he puts his jacket over his head. He runs into Siobhan who
accidentally burns him with her cigarette.

					AARON
			AAH CRAP!

					SIOBHAN
			Oh sorry, Aaron.

	She throws the fag away.

					AARON
No problem. I didn't know you smoked.

					SIOBHAN
Yeah well, I've been up since one in the
			morning.

					AARON
			Why?

					SIOBHAN
I was arrested they think I killed Terri, Stacey
			and Tim.

					AARON
You? So have they found the bodies?

					SIOBHAN
No but they suspect they've been murdered.
They're trying to find Shaun to question him.

					AARON
So do they believe your story?

					SIOBHAN
Yeah, I think. So did you have a good time
			with Tasha?

					AARON
			Oh, don't Siobhan!

					SIOBHAN
			What?

They come to 'CAT'S CAB SERVICE'.

					AARON
			Well I'll see you later.

	He walks into the building.

					SIOBHAN
			Bye.

	INT. SIOBHAN'S FLAT

Siobhan comes in and locks the door behind her. She walks into the
kitchen and picks up the cup of tea; she goes and tips it down the
sink. She puts her bag down on the table and takes her coat off. She
goes into the bathroom and closes the door on us.

	INT. BATHROOM

Siobhan is in the shower and the curtain is pulled across so we can't
see anything except her head above the curtain. She has her back to
the door and is running her fingers through her hair. The sound of a
creaking door is heard and Siobhan turns around. The door is wide
	open.
Close on her feet stepping out of the shower, she wraps a towel
around herself before we see the naked truth. She slowly walks out of
the bathroom into the living room. There is nothing there so she
walks into her bedroom, she checks to see no one is inside and goes
in, closing the door behind her. As she does the killer rushes past
	her door.

	INT. BEDROOM

Siobhan is fully dressed now. She walks to the door and enters the
	living room.

	INT. LIVING ROOM

She goes and leans over the sofa to check no one's behind it. Then
the killer comes up behind her and throws her onto the floor, she
trips him up and runs into the bathroom. The door splinters as the
knife comes in. Siobhan wastes no time and runs to the window. She
opens the small window and realises there is no chance of escape.

	INT. LIVING ROOM

The killer pulls the knife back out. Suddenly there is a knock on the
front door. The killer turns to the door.

					SIOBHAN
			HELP ME!!!

Suddenly thumps come on the door and the door swings open. In comes
	JEROME FERDEWS, Siobhan's next-door neighbour.
The killer is nowhere in sight.

					JEROME
			SIOBHAN?

	INT. BATHROOM

	Siobhan turns to the door.

					SIOBHAN
			Jerome?

She goes and opens the door slowly.

					SIOBHAN
			JEROME!

She is about to walk to him when the killer jumps up behind him.

					SIOBHAN
			JEROME! WATCH OUT!

The killer stabs him in the back and he yells in pain. He sticks out
his arm to Siobhan and falls over. Siobhan cries. The killer then
looks up at her. The killer runs at her so she moves and pushes him
into the wall. She runs out of the room and down the stairs.

	EXT. ROAD - STILL RAINING

Siobhan runs across the road, narrowly being missed by cars. One car
skids and ends up on the path. But Siobhan keeps running without
	looking back.

	EXT. FLATBLOCK DOOR

Siobhan presses the button that says 'Aaron Garl rm. 22'

					AARON ON MACHINE
			Yes?

					SIOBHAN
				[Shivering in the cold rain]
Aaron, it's me. I didn't know where else to
			go.

					AARON
			Come in.

The beep is heard and she walks through the door.

	INT. AARON'S FLAT - LATER

Siobhan is sat on the sofa with a blanket around her. Aaron comes
over with a cup of Hot Chocolate.

					SIOBHAN
			Thanks.

					AARON
I called the police; they'll be around there
			about now.

The phone rings. Aaron answers it.

					AARON
			Hello?

					DET. COAR
Detective Coar here, we didn't find a body.

					AARON
			You didn't? Hold on.

He takes the phone away from his ear.

					AARON
			Siobhan...

					SIOBHAN
			Um?

					AARON
			They didn't find a body.

Siobhan's mouth drops. She gets up and takes the phone.

					SIOBHAN
			Hello?

					DET. COAR
Siobhan, we didn't find a body, but your flat
			has also been ransacked.

					SIOBHAN
Well, detective, do you believe me?

					DET. COAR
			I can't say.

					SIOBHAN
Do you or do you not?

					DET. COAR
Yes. But it doesn't matter what I think.

					SIOBHAN
			Well, it does to me.

	FADE TO BLACKNESS...

INT. AARON'S FLAT - EVEN LATER

Siobhan is sat on the sofa, the TV is on and Siobhan is asleep. A
newspaper full of pictures of flats for sale is lying on her knee.
The door opens, but it is on the chain. Aaron knocks on the door.

					AARON
			Siobhan!

Siobhan awakens and sees Aaron peeping through the slit of view down
	the side of the door.
She gets up and walks to the door.

					SIOBHAN
			Hi Aaron, sorry about that

					AARON
			That's OK.

She unhooks the chain. Aaron comes in with a bag of shopping. He puts
the bag on the side and walks to the sofa. He picks up the newspaper.

					AARON
			You're looking for another place?

Siobhan who has gone and put the kettle on turns around

	 				SIOBHAN
Well, I can't go back there, Aaron.

					AARON
But all these flats are in Liverpool!

	Siobhan bows her head.

					SIOBHAN
I was going to tell you.

					AARON
What, when the removal came? Siobhan
you can't run away from your problems.

Siobhan goes to him and grabs the paper from his hands.

					SIOBHAN
So, you think I should stay and let him kill
			me?

					AARON
			What? No! I just...

					SIOBHAN
It's not the same for you!

					AARON
Well, what's that supposed to mean? They're
			my friends as well!

Siobhan walks into the bedroom and slams the door behind her. Aaron
walks up to the door and starts shouting in.

					AARON
Siobhan! I'm sorry. Just come out and talk.

INT. PUBLIC LIBRARY - NIGHT - EMPTY

Karl is sat at a computer. There is a large table with two rows of
computers on each side. Karl is in a chat room, talking to someone.

	CHATROOM: -

	KARL: ASL?

	LILA: 19/?/BEHIND YOU

He stands and swings around. No one.

LILA: Made u luk. I'm close.

Karl begins walking around the computers, on the other row after
walking halfway down. He sees a computer on with the same chat room
	on.

The line on the screen reads: -

	LILA: Look behind u!

He turns and the killer swings a knife at him. He ducks, narrowly
being missed by the knife. He pushes the killer over and runs through
the isles of bookcases, he makes it to the librarian's desk she isn't
sat there. He walks around the desk; the woman is led on the floor
with a slashed throat. He runs to the door, which is chained from the
outside, he grabs the lamp off the librarian's desk and throws it
through the window. But before he can escape, the killer drags him
back into the library. He takes him to the photocopier and slams his
face onto the copying screen. He slams the lid down several times and
presses the 'copy' button, still slamming the lid down. Several
copies of Karl's bashed up face come out of the copier.

	INT. AARON'S FLAT - MORNING

Aaron is asleep on the sofa with a quilt over him. Siobhan comes into
the living room from the bedroom. She is wearing just a T-shirt. She
	yawns and wipes her eyes. She notices the letter at the front door;
she goes and picks up the big brown envelope. On it, it says...
	Siobhan and Aaron.
	Room 22.

It has no stamp, so it must have been hand delivered.
Siobhan tears it open and pulls out its contents. It is the pictures
of Karl's face from the copier. Siobhan gasps and is almost sick. She
	drops the pictures.

	EXT. SAINSBURYS CAR PARK

Shaun's car pulls up. Jane-Marie is driving and Shaun is in the
	passenger seat.

					SHAUN
			I'll see you later OK?

					JANE-MARIE
			OK.

He pecks her on the cheek.
Shaun gets out and walks into Sainsburys. Jane-Marie drives away. She
drives out of the car park and almost crashes into another car. She
	screams.

					JANE-MARIE
	 		Crazy son of a bitch!

	INT. OTHER CAR

Siobhan is driving. She carries on driving as if nothing has
	happened.

	INT. POLICE STATION CAR PARK

Siobhan pulls up and gets out. She runs inside the police station.

	INT. TASHA'S FLAT

Tasha is on the sofa, applying nail varnish to her toenails, the TV
	is on. The phone rings.

					TASHA
			Crap.

She puts down the nail varnish bottle and picks up the phone.

					TASHA
			Hello?

					WOMANS VOICE
Tash, why aren't you in work?

					TASHA
			What? I quit.

					WOMANS VOICE
			You did?

					TASHA
I did, Karen, I told Sheryl.

					KAREN
Sheryl has quit too she disappeared. She left
us a note saying she'd quit and was going to
stay with her friends in Liverpool.

					TASHA
Quit? Sheryl? She worked so hard for that job,
			she wouldn't just quit.

					KAREN

			Well she has.

					TASHA
Listen, Kaz. I think she's gone missing. A few of
my boyfriend's friends are beginning to go missing.

					KAREN
Well, Karl didn't come back to the flat last night.

					TASHA
			Karl Germont?

					KAREN
			Yeah. You know him?

					TASHA
That's one of my boyfriend's friends.

View on hand pulling on phone wire, the phone goes dead.

					TASHA
			Kaz? Are you there, Karen?

Suddenly the killer jumps from behind the sofa and wraps the phone
wire around Tasha's neck. Tasha struggles and tries to loosen the
wire. She puts her feet on the floor and pushes back hard. The sofa
goes over backwards and lands on top of the killer, the wire loosens
and Tasha slips out of it. She runs to the door and tries to open,
	but the padlocks are on.
The killer is struggling to get the sofa off him. Tasha reaches up
for the top padlock, then kneels down and opens the bottom one, but
before she can escape, the killer drags her across the floor. He
picks her up and throws her over the top of the over turned sofa. She
stands to have the killer run into her. She fights with him and they
fight their way to the window. The killer pushes her into the window,
which shatters; she drags him through the window.

	INT. ALLEY

They fall on to some bin bags. Tasha gets up and runs.

	INT. POLICE STATION

Siobhan is talking to the receptionist.

					RECEPTIONIST
Who is it you want to speak with?

					SIOBHAN
			Detective Coar.

					RECEPTIONIST
			Is it essential?

					SIOBHAN
			YES!

Tasha runs into the station. Her blouse is torn and she looks a mess.
Siobhan turns to see what all the commotion is about.

					TASHA
			HELP ME!

Siobhan runs over to her and calms her down.

					SIOBHAN
			Tasha! What's wrong?

					TASHA
Someone was at my house! He tried to kill me!

					SIOBHAN
			Its OK, come with me.

She walks to the reception desk and carries on her conversation with
	the receptionist.

	INT. DET. COAR'S OFFICE

Coar is sat at his desk eating sandwiches from a paper bag. He is
	also reading through files.
The door opens and a woman enters.

					WOMAN
			Hey Martin...

					COAR
			Yeah?

					WOMAN
Some girl is requesting to speak with you.

					COAR
			Siobhan?

					WOMAN
I think that's what she said her name was.

Coar stands and closes the files he's been looking through.

					COAR
Thanks Maggie, I'll come and see to her.

Maggie exits and Coar follows her out.

	INT. INVESTIGATION ROOM

Siobhan is sat at the table talking to Coar.

					SIOBHAN
			Now do you believe me?

					COAR
We have no evidence that it's a killer, it could
			have been a robber.

					SIOBHAN
Robbers try to kill people do they?

					COAR
The only evidence we have is; all these flats
			being ransacked.

	Siobhan stands in anger.

					SIOBHAN
Do they train police to be fucking blind?

					COAR
			Calm down.

					SIOBHAN
NO! You've seen what happened to Tasha! Do
			you think I'm lying?

					COAR
			Ms. Morge...

					SIOBHAN
			Who?

					COAR
Tasha, has a criminal record for possession
			of drugs...

					SIOBHAN
What, so for a few wrongs you're going to
			forget about this?

					COAR
			A few? Sixteen arrests...

					SIOBHAN
That's beside the point. You told me you
			believed me.

					COAR
And I do, but the clues are few.

					SIOBHAN
What, so it's coincidence that both me and
Tasha have told you we'd been attacked?

					COAR
What did you come here for anyway?

					SIOBHAN
			Oh shit I forgot...

She opens her bag and takes out the pictures. She hands them to Coar.

					COAR
Why didn't you tell me earlier?

	He stands.

					SIOBHAN
I forgot in all the commotion.

					COAR
			What's his name?

	 				SIOBHAN
			Karl.

					COAR
			Germont?

					SIOBHAN
Yeah I think, I didn't know him very well.

	He goes to the door.

					SIOBHAN
			Where are you going?

					COAR
Wait here, I really need to talk to someone.

					SIOBHAN
			No, what's going on?

Siobhan follows him out of the room.

	INT. HALLWAY

Coar comes out of the room and takes out his mobile phone; he dials a
number just as Siobhan comes out.

	INT. KAREN COAR'S FLAT

	The phone rings. Karen answers.

					KAREN
			Hello?

					COAR
			Hi Karen. It's me.

					KAREN
Oh hi dad. I'm a bit worried. Karl hasn't come
	  		home.

					COAR
I've... I've got pictures of Karl...

					KAREN
			What kind of pictures?

					COAR
			Pictures of him err, dead.

	Karen gasps.

					COAR
			Karen? Are you OK.

	Karen drops the phone.

	INT. POLICE HALLWAY

Coar and Siobhan are still there.

					COAR
			Karen?

A deadly shriek comes from the phone.

					COAR
			FUCK!

					SIOBHAN
			What is it?

Coar drops the phone and begins running down the hallway, pushing
people out of the way. Siobhan follows him at a fast pace.

	INT. KAREN'S FLAT

The killer is sat on Karen's stomach. He raises the knife.

					KAREN
			NO!

She frantically shuffles and tries to throw the killer off her

	INT. POLICE CAR PARK

Coar comes and jumps into his car. Siobhan follows and quickly gets
	in the back.

					COAR
			What are you doing?

					SIOBHAN
			What's going on?

He speeds out of the car park and down the road.

	INT. KAREN'S FLAT

Karen is now on her feet. She grabs a vase off the windowsill and
throws it at the killer who dodges it. He runs over to her and grabs
her, he stabs her in the stomach and she spits blood into his hood.
	He takes it out and repeats this process. He looks out of the window;
the room is quite high up, Coar's car pulls up outside. The killer
picks Karen up and throws her through the glass.

	EXT. ROAD

Coar gets out and sees Karen falling from the window.

					COAR
			NNNNNOOOOO!!!!!

Siobhan gets out as Karen hits the pavement. Siobhan looks at her and
screams. Coar runs frantically to his daughter's body. He hugs her
	and starts crying.

					COAR
			No, please, god no!

Siobhan looks very emotional. She starts crying as well.

	EXT. SAME ROAD - NIGHT

A body covered with a sheet is being lifted on a stretcher and taken
to an ambulance. There is a police car as well and Coar and Siobhan
are leant on it, Siobhan has her arm around his shoulder.

					SIOBHAN
			I'm sorry.

					COAR
			She was my only child.

					SIOBHAN
I lost a lot of my friends as well. The funeral's
			tomorrow.

					COAR
Yeah, but I lost my daughter.

					SIOBHAN
			Does your wife know?

					COAR
You mean ex-wife? No, I better call her.

					SIOBHAN
How about you let me call her? You're in
no state to talk to her.

	He searches his pockets.

					COAR
			Yeah, would you?

He keeps searching his pockets. Then he remembers.

					COAR
			Shit.

					SIOBHAN
			What?

					COAR
I dropped my mobile in the hallway.

					SIOBHAN
That's OK; I'll ask one of the police crew.

	Werstein walks over.

					WERSTEIN
Well, I guess we know there's a killer now.

Siobhan looks disgusted at him. She stands up.

					SIOBHAN
			Come with me will you?

She leads him beside the ambulance.

					WERSTEIN
			What is it?

She pushes him up against the side of the van.

					SIOBHAN
Are you stupid or something? Detective
Coar's daughter has just been murdered
and you can only find them words to say
			to him?

	Coar walks over.

					COAR
			It's OK. He's right, this shouldn't effect
			this case. Lay off Siobhan.

					SIOBHAN
Detective, you don't have to carry on.

					COAR
I want to, I want to find the person who
			killed Karen.

She agrees and turns back to Werstein.

					SIOBHAN
			Let me use your mobile.

					WERSTEIN
			What for?

					SIOBHAN
			Give it to me!

					WERSTEIN
			No!

					COAR
			Just let her.

He hands her the mobile phone. And she walks into a quieter area of
	the street.

INT. AARON'S FLAT - NEXT MORNING

Siobhan is stood at the mirror in the bathroom. She wipes her face
with a sponge and rinses the soap away. She seems very tired and sad.
A tear runs down her cheek. The door opens and she quickly wipes her
eyes. It is Aaron and he sees how sad she is.

					AARON
I collected your stuff from your flat.

					SIOBHAN
			Thanks.

Aaron walks to her and puts his hand on her shoulder.

					AARON
If it's too much for you, you don't have to go,
	  		they'll understand.

					SIOBHAN
			No I want to go.

					AARON
It'll be OK. Everything will turn out fine. Now
I'm going to get some breakfast made, toast?

					SIOBHAN
			OK.

					AARON
Do you want me to sort some clothes out from
			your bags?

					SIOBHAN
			No, you're all right.

Aaron smiles and leaves the bathroom.

	EXT. GRAVEYARD

A funeral car with pictures of Terri, Stacey, Tim and Karl in the
back, also there are lots of flowers. (The reason there are pictures
is because the bodies were never found).
This car is followed by a lot of other cars with family and friends
	of the deceased inside them.

	INT. CHURCH

There are rows of people dressed in black. Siobhan, Aaron, Shaun and
Jane-Marie are on the front row as well as the relatives. The
pictures are in a row at the altar and other flowers are also placed
at the altar. The priest walks up to the stand where readings are
	read.

					PRIEST
The poor young people that we have come
here to remember on this sad
morning were the victims of a terrible crime,
they would have wanted to be
remembered together so we are going to place a
			memorial for them all.
We should learn not to be sad that our brothers
and sisters are gone, but that they were here, that
they had a good life and that now they have left
us to join a better place. Some of the deceased's
good friends have requested to do a reading.

The priest signals to Siobhan and Aaron. They make it up to the
	stand.

					SIOBHAN
'I have decided to read this poem because it
reminds me of how all of them were.
When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road your trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out...'

Siobhan cuts off, her throat feels weak and she is obviously
beginning to sob. Aaron saves the day and takes over.

					AARON
'Don't give up though the pace may seem slow-
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out-
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far.
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.'
And they never did quit, whenever we or
anyone were going through a tough time
they always tried to help. Kept the brave face
and made sure that we did as well.

	He smiles.

					AARON
			They will be missed.

	Siobhan is now crying.

	EXT. GRAVEYARD

The people are stood around the memorial.

					PRIEST
Thank you all of you for attending this
			sad event.

Relatives begin to thank people for coming. Siobhan spots Coar sat on
the graveyard wall and walks over.

					SIOBHAN
			Hi.

	COAR
Hi. I just came to see if you were OK. You
were brave to read that reading.

She sits next to him and takes out a packet of fags. She takes one
and lights it. She then offers Coar one, he takes one and she lights
	it for him.

					SIOBHAN
Me? Brave? You sure you watched the right
			ceremony? So when's Karen's ceremony?

	Coar hesitates.

					COAR
			We haven't decided.

					SIOBHAN
			Are you OK detective?

					COAR
Please, call me Martin. I don't feel like the
detective anymore, I feel part of this... like
			all your friends...

Siobhan puts her hand on his shoulder.

					SIOBHAN
			You are my friend, Bruce.

	Aaron walks over.

					AARON
I didn't know you went for older men...

					SIOBHAN
			Shut up.

					COAR
			Who're you calling old?

	Aaron sits down.

					AARON
Can I have one of those?

Siobhan takes her fag packet out and hands him a cigarette. She gives
him the lighter and he lights it.

					AARON
So you going to the party?

					SIOBHAN
Don't know, I don't really believe in celebrating
			someone's death...

					AARON
It's not celebrating their death; it's celebrating
that they've gone to a better place.

					SIOBHAN
				[To Coar]
			You want to come?

					COAR
			Yeah sure, I'll drive us.

	He stands.

					SIOBHAN
			No, it's not today.

					COAR
			Why not?

					AARON
Terri's got a sister in Belgium and she can't
			come today.

					COAR
Why couldn't they reschedule the funeral?

	SIOBHAN
Her sister said she'd come today, but some crash
happened so she couldn't make it and it was all
			booked in the church.

					COAR
Oh right, so when is it?

					AARON
			Tomorrow.

	He sits back down.

					COAR
So, how long are we going to be here?

					SIOBHAN
You can go if you're bored.

					COAR
No not at all, I want to be here.

	Siobhan smiles.

	EXT. ROAD - EVENING

A car pulls up to the curb and Coar is driving it. Siobhan is sat in
	the front passenger seat.

					SIOBHAN
			Thanks for the ride.

					COAR
			No problem.

Aaron gets out from the backseat.

					SIOBHAN
			Well, goodnight.

She gets out onto the pavement.
					COAR
			Goodnight.

	He drives away.

	INT. HALLWAY

Siobhan and Aaron walk side by side down the hall and come to
Siobhan's flat room door. Siobhan stops and turns to Aaron.

					SIOBHAN
			Well.

					AARON
			Well.

					SIOBHAN
Well I suppose you can go now.

					AARON
			Um, well I could, but...
				[Hesitates]
	  		But I don't want to.

Siobhan smiles. Aaron romantically begins kissing her. She responds
very willingly. She pulls away for a second and opens her door. She
	smiles and leads Aaron inside.

	FADE OUT...

INT. POLICE FILEROOM - SAME NIGHT

Detective Werstein is looking through a file cabinet drawer. A
banging noise is heard off screen. Werstein looks up.

Werstein's POV; He looks down the empty corridor of the file
	cabinets.

					WERSTEIN
			Hello?

	Silence.
					WERSTEIN
			Is someone there?

He slowly begins to walk down the corridor. He looks down every empty
corner. Then he picks up pace, he turns a corner and sees a drawer
open with papers hanging out. One piece of paper floats slowly to the
ground. Someone has been there very recently. Werstein gasps.

	INT. SIOBHAN'S BEDROOM - MORNING

Aaron is led in the bed; Siobhan is asleep with her head perched on
his chest. Hard thumps come upon the front door and Siobhan awakens.
She yawns loudly and looks at Aaron, who is still asleep. She gets
out of the bed, dressed in only a t-shirt.

	INT. CORRIDOR

Werstein is at the door. Siobhan opens it.

					SIOBHAN
			Oh, not you.

	She sighs.

					WERSTEIN
I didn't expect a good answer, can I come in.

					SIOBHAN
			I suppose so.

She lets him in and closes the door.

	INT. LIVING ROOM

					SIOBHAN
	Well what do you want?

			WERSTEIN
Shouldn't I be asking you that?

			SIOBHAN
	Huh?

	WERSTEIN
Yeah, why did you break into the file room
	                          last night?

					SIOBHAN
What? What are you talking about?

He gets closer and points his finger warningly at her.

					WERSTEIN
I don't know what you were looking for,
but be sure that it doesn't happen again!

					SIOBHAN
But I was here all night.

					WERSTEIN
Bullshit! I know you where there!

	Aaron enters.

					AARON
Actually, she was here all night.

	He walks into the bathroom.

					SIOBHAN
Is that enough proof for you?

					WERSTEIN
I know it was you, even if you have got
your friends to stick up for you!

	He leaves.

	INT. HALLWAY - EARLY AFTERNOON

Siobhan's door opens and Aaron, now fully dressed, walks out. Siobhan
	stands at the door.

					AARON
Are you sure you'll be OK?

					SIOBHAN
			I'll be fine.

He kisses her on the cheek.

					AARON
			Bye.

					SIOBHAN
			See you.

He walks down the hall and exits. We notice a thirty-something plump
woman stood in her doorway down the hall. She laughs.

					NEIGHBOUR
Ha! You got a good 'un there, love.

					SIOBHAN
			Excuse me?

					NEIGHBOUR
Don't you let him go eh? 'Cause once there gone,
you aren't ever going to get another!

	Siobhan smiles.
A man's voice comes from inside the woman's house.

					MAN
Betty close that god damn door! We're not supplying
			heat for the whole floor!

					BETTY
We don't have any heating, because who spent the
central heating money on booze? I wish someone
had given me the advice I gave you before I married
			him.

	Siobhan laughs.

					SIOBHAN
It can't be that bad, surely?

					BETTY
			Oh no, we're past bad!

She walks inside. Siobhan stays outside for a second. She doesn't
seem too sure that Aaron is the right one. She doesn't even know
	whether she can trust him.

	EXT. ROAD

Aaron walks out of the flat block onto the path. Tasha appears.

					AARON
			Oh, hi Tasha.

She slaps him hard on the face.

					AARON
			Ouch.

					TASHA
			How could you?

					AARON
			What?

					TASHA
Can you honestly tell me you didn't sleep
	with Siobhan?

	Silence.

					TASHA
			Exactly what I thought!

	She storms away.

	INT. SHAUN'S FLAT

Jane-Marie is led in the bed. She awakens. She looks around for
Shaun. Shaun walks in with a tray with toast and a drink of coffee on
	it.

					SHAUN
			Breakfast?

	She sits up in bed.

					JANE-MARIE
Wow! Shaun, you can make breakfast?

					SHAUN
Ha, ha. It's more of a sorry for how I
			treated you.

					JANE-MARIE
That's OK. Where were you last night?

					SHAUN
I had to go to find my dad, my mum rung,
he'd been out drinking and never came home.

					JANE-MARIE
			Did you find him?

					SHAUN
			Yeah.

					JANE-MARIE
Good. So what time is the funeral gathering
			on?

					SHAUN
Ages yet. You sure you want to come?

					JANE-MARIE
			Yeah.

	INT. CAFé

Tasha is sat at a table stirring her coffee with a plastic spoon.
Coar enters and walks over. He sits opposite from her on the table.

					COAR
Ms. Morge, I have a bit of a bone to pick with
			you.

Tasha carries on stirring without looking up.

	TASHA
			I'm listening.

					COAR
Detective Werstein reported a robbery at the
police station last night. Know anything?

					TASHA
No, now could you fuck off? I'm already pissed
			off!

					COAR
			You better not be lying!

					TASHA
I said 'fuck off' didn't I? Or was I talking to
			myself?

					COAR
			You better watch you mouth!

Tasha sarcastically tries to look down at her lips.

					TASHA
			Sorry, it's far too difficult.

					COAR
			I'm not finished with you.

					TASHA
No? Well I'm finish with you, this conversation
is over, now go in peace.

Coar looks at her angrily but gets up and leaves.

the front door. She walks inside.

	INT. LOUNGE

Siobhan walks in, tables are being set up and beverages are being put
on them. Aaron walks over to Siobhan.

					AARON
			Hi, Siobhan.

					SIOBHAN
			Hi.

	She rolls up her sleeves.

					SIOBHAN
			So, how can I help?

	AARON
We're really just setting up food at the moment.

					SIOBHAN
Just think, last week we were celebrating my
			18th, now we're doing this.

					AARON
A bad thing usually follows good things.

She puts her arm around him and they walk to the tables.

					SIOBHAN
			Or many bad things.

	INT. MARINA

A crowd of people come down a hall and into the big seating area.
They split and go different ways, among them is an attractive blonde
JOANNE ADREN (Terri's sister from Belgium). She walks fast with the
heavy suitcase. In the rush her suitcase falls wide open and her
	things fall over the floor.

					JOANNE
				(In strong Dutch accent)
			Shit.

She kneels down to pick things up and a male passer-by kneels down
	and helps her.

					MAN
			Need any help?

					JOANNE
			Oh thank you.

They start packing the things into the case.

					MAN
			Are you from around here?

					JOANNE
No, just flew over from Belgium.

					MAN
			Oh right.

They finish packing the things in and stand up.

					JOANNE
			Thank you.

					MAN
			No problem.

					JOANNE
			Crap!

	She slaps her head.

					MAN
			What is it?

					JOANNE
I left my car on the ship. I better hurry to get it!

					MAN
You forgot your car? You better hurry to get it then.

					JOANNE
Yeah, I suppose I might see you around?

					MAN
			Maybe you will, bye.

He walks away leaving Joanne disappointed.

	JOANNE
Stuff you then, they come on all nice and don't
even ask to see you again!

She runs fast to get her car.

EXT. CAR PARK - EARLY EVENING

Everything is set up and Siobhan walks out of the front entrance.
	Aaron follows.

					AARON
			Where're you going?

					SIOBHAN
I'm picking up Shaun and his... woman.

					AARON
			Well, I'm staying here.

					SIOBHAN
OK, see you in a bit.

					AARON
			Bye.

Siobhan gets into her car and drives away.

	INT. SHAUN'S FLAT

Shaun and Jane-Marie are all ready now.

					SHAUN
Siobhan should be coming to pick us up in a bit.

					JANE-MARIE
Should we go downstairs and wait?

					SHAUN
			Yeah OK.

	They leave the room.

	INT. CAFé

The café is empty except from Tasha still sat in the corner. A half
eaten sandwich is on a plate in front of her and she looks tired. A
	young waitress comes over.

					WAITRESS
Tasha, we were supposed to close at six and
			it's now 6:15.

					TASHA
			Oh right. Thanks.

She gets up and walks out.

	EXT. STREET

Tasha walks down the dark streets. She turns and walks a while down
the pavement. She sees a car pull up across the road and Siobhan gets
out of it. Tasha rages towards Siobhan. Siobhan sees her.

					SIOBHAN
			Hi Tasha.

Tasha pushes her up to the railings of the fence. Siobhan looks
	shocked.

					SIOBHAN
What the hell are you doing?

					TASHA
You bitch! You just couldn't let me be happy,
			could you?

					SIOBHAN
			What are you talking about?

					TASHA
			I'm talking about Aaron!

Siobhan doesn't know what to say.

					SIOBHAN
			I-I'm sorry.

					TASHA
Oh, you're sorry? Well that makes everything
			right don't it?

	Shaun comes out with Jane-Marie.

					SHAUN
			What's going on?

	Siobhan pushes Tasha away.

					SIOBHAN
			Nothing! Let's go.

Siobhan, Shaun and Jane-Marie get into the car.

					SIOBHAN
			You coming or what?

					TASHA
			Is Aaron there?

					SIOBHAN
			Yeah.

					TASHA
			Yeah, I'm coming.

Tasha gets in and the car drives away.

EXT. GOLF LINKS HOTEL CAR PARK

An open top red Ferrari pulls up. The door opens Joanne steps out,
Terri's sister from Belgium. Another car pulls up right near where
Joanne is standing she is startled. The car door opens and Coar steps
	out.

					COAR
			I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention.

					JOANNE
				[In strong Dutch accent]
That's no problem at all, no damage done!

					COAR
I'm Martin Coar and I'm guessing you are
			Terri's sister?

					JOANNE
			How did you know?

Coar closes the door and enables the alarm.

					COAR
Some friends of Terri's told me she had a
	sister in Belgium.

			JOANNE
	Oh right, well I'm Joanne.

He walks over to her and they shake hands.

					COAR
Well it isn't the best time to say this but welcome
	to London, Joanne.

			JOANNE
	Thanks.

			COAR
So are you OK? About your sister and all?

			JOANNE
Well it's taking a while to get over but I'll be fine.

			COAR
Well I lost my daughter, she was murdered too.

			JOANNE
I suppose we could both use a shoulder to cry on.

Siobhan's car pulls up near Joanne and Coar interrupting them.

					JOANNE
			That's twice in ten minutes!

Siobhan and the others get out and close the doors.

					SIOBHAN
Oh, hi detective, who's your friend?

					COAR
Oh this is Terri's sister, Joanne.

					SIOBHAN
			Hi.

					JOANNE
			Oh hello.

Shaun bows his head. Joanne walks over to him and slaps her hands on
each cheek as if about to give him a big kiss.

					JOANNE
Shaun honey! This must be hard for you
with Terri being your girlfriend and all!

					TASHA
				[Sarcastically.
			Yeah, really hard.

					JOANNE
			What?

She sees that Shaun is holding hands with Jane-Marie.

					JOANNE
What's this? Found someone else already?

	The rest look nervous.

					TASHA
Actually he found her before Terri was killed.

					JOANNE
			What? An affair?

					TASHA
			That's right!

Joanne is shocked she slaps Shaun hard on the face.

					JANE-MARIE
			HEY!

					JOANNE
And you can stay out of it you slut!

					JANE-MARIE
			What did you just say?

Siobhan, Coar and Tasha make their way to the entrance of the hotel
whilst Jane-Marie and Joanne carry on fighting.

					SIOBHAN
Why do you always have to be so bitchy?

					TASHA
			Hey, life's too short!

	INT. LOUNGE

They walk in. Easy listening music is being played on the stereo
system and lots of relatives to the deceased are sat in the chairs.
Most are reflecting on past memories. Siobhan walks over to one
	relative.

					SIOBHAN
			Mrs. Adren?

					MRS. ADREN
			Yes dear?

					SIOBHAN
			Joanne is outside...

					MRS. ADREN
			Thanks love.

She gets up off her chair.

					TASHA
And Shaun and his new girlfriend are there as well.

Mrs. Adren looks quite hurt and sad and walks out into the car park.

					SIOBHAN
				[Looking at her cruelly]
Are you trying to fuck things up?

					TASHA
You fucked things up with Aaron and me.

	Aaron walks over.

					TASHA
			Speak of the devil.

					AARON
			Hi, Tasha...

					TASHA
Don't say hi to me you creep!

She storms away. Then Joanne walks in, her hair is all messed up and
her mother is forcing her in.

					JOANNE
Mum, I can handle this myself!

Then we see why she is being forced in when Jane-Marie storms in, she
is very steamed up and is being held back by Shaun for she is trying
to get to Joanne to beat her up.

					JANE-MARIE
Get here you foreign piece of shit! Fight like a man,
	well woman.

	Joanne walks into Aaron.

					JOANNE
			Ooh Aaron! Haven't you grown?

					SIOBHAN
			Back off big-boobs!

Joanne looks at her viciously and walks away.

					AARON
			Thanks Siobhan.

					SIOBHAN
			For what?

					AARON
For saving me, any closer and I would have been
			possessed.

	She thumps him jokingly.

	INT. HALLWAY

Joanne walks up to the banister at the bottom of the stairs and leans
on it, then an attractive man walks up the stairs, he glimpses at her
and she looks at him as if in a trance. Then he walks up the rest of
the stairs. She looks to see if anyone is looking then quickly
	follows him up.

	INT. LANDING

She follows him to his door and he invites her in, she walks in and
	closes the door.

	INT. LADIES TOILETS

Tasha is sat on the bog, but she isn't doing her business, she is
just sitting on the toilet with the lid and seat down and hasn't got
her pants down. She is smoking a fag. Then we hear the toilets
entrance creek open and footsteps enter the room. Then a hand pushes
on the door, which Tasha is behind.

					TASHA
			This one's taken.

Then the thuds begin to come harder.

					TASHA
What the fuck? Get out of here, someone's in here!

Then the door flies open and the killer is stood there. Tasha screams
and kicks the door back into him, he falls and lands on the sinks.
Tasha gets out of the cubicle and makes a run for it, but the killer
trips her up, she falls on the tiles. The killer grabs her and turns
her onto her back, he takes out the knife and raises it high but
Tasha burns the cigarette end onto his cheek. He growls with pain and
grabs his face. Tasha pushes him over onto his back and gets up, she
	runs through the door.

	INT. LOUNGE

She runs through the crowd of people up to Siobhan.

					SIOBHAN
			Tasha what is it?

					TASHA
			He's here!

					AARON
			Who's here?

					TASHA
			The killer!

					SIOBHAN
			Where is he?

					TASHA
			In the toilets!

Siobhan rushes to the toilets door. But she hesitates to go inside.

					TASHA
What are you waiting for? Let's go and see
			who this guy is!

					SIOBHAN
			Call the police!

Tasha runs to the payphone and picks it up, she searches her pockets
and pulls out a twenty-pence, she puts it into the phone. But she
doesn't hear the tone, she looks down at the wire connecting the
	phone, it has been cut.

					TASHA
			Shit!

She throws the phone down and looks around desperately. She sees a
fire alarm, she smashes the glass and the alarm goes off.

					BARMAID
OK, everyone please go to the car park.

She comes from behind the bar and guides people out. Everyone exits
the building accept for Tasha who rushes to the toilets. A chain is
chaining the handle of the door to the handle of the men's door. She
	grabs the padlock.

					TASHA
			Shit!

Then the door is pushed slightly open, making Tasha jump. It's just
Siobhan, the chains are blocking her from opening the door fully.

					TASHA
			Siobhan! It's chained!

					SIOBHAN
			He's not in here!

	INT. TOILETS

Aaron is searching around for anything to open the door with whilst
Siobhan talks to Tasha. He sees that the window isn't locked.

					AARON
			Siobhan! The window's open!

					SIOBHAN
Excellent! Tasha, look out, we'll be with you in
			a sec.

					TASHA
			OK, take care of yourself.

Siobhan walks to the window, Aaron climbs out.

	EXT. OUTSIDE

There are plastic chairs and tables around. Aaron lands on the low
down concrete. He goes and grabs a chair and puts it underneath the
window so Siobhan jumps down onto it. He helps her down.

					AARON
Don't move I'm going to see if I can find a way in.

He walks down the alley to a gate and opens it. Siobhan waits
	nervously

	EXT. CAR PARK

Many people have got into their cars and drove away leaving only a
few people and the bar maid left.

					MRS. ADREN
I can't take this; take me home will you, Jim?

Mrs. Adren and Mr. Adren walk to their car and it leaves. Also Coar
is there, he and the barmaid are now the only people left. The
	barmaid looks baffled.

					COAR
			Is something wrong?

					BARMAID
			There's no fire or smoke.

Coar realises what's happening. He hands the barmaid his car keys.

					COAR
Take my car, the blue one, go and get the
police, tell them that Coar sent you.

					BARMAID
			What's happening?

					COAR
			Just go!

The barmaid goes to his car and gets in. Coar walks up to the
entrance and tries to push it open but it's locked.

	INT. HALLWAY

Tasha is stood near the door; suddenly Coar's rolled up fist smashes
through the window making Tasha scream.

					TASHA
			COAR! Hurry get in!

He climbs through the broken glass.

	INT. ROOM

Joanne is in a dressing gown and the attractive man in is the bed.

					JOANNE
Are you sure you have fire drills all the time?

					MAN
Come on get back in bed.

She walks to the bed but then the door bursts open and the killer is
at the door with the knife. Joanne screams. The killer shuts the door
behind him and turns the key, locking the door. He approaches but the
	man gets in the way.

					MAN
			Get away from her!

The killer shakes his head and pierces the knife into his stomach; he
pulls it up to his chest. The man spits blood into his face. After
making sure the man was dead, the killer goes over to Joanne. Joanne
	screams.

					JOANNE
Get away from me you bastard!

The killer grabs her by her hair and shoves the knife into her
stomach, she screams. Then her drags her by the hair to the window,
he raises her and throws her through the glass window.

	EXT. OUTSIDE

She falls down and lands on a table, which then snaps in half.
Siobhan is still outside, but Aaron has gone. Siobhan sees the dead
body and screams and then looks up. The killer is peering out of the
window at her. The killer then disappears inside.

					SIOBHAN
			Shit!

She runs to the gate but it is locked.

					SIOBHAN
Damn where the fuck is Aaron?

Then she freezes. Is Aaron the killer? She looks in through the
window to the kitchen, the door opens and the killer looks straight
at her. She looks for an escape route. She sees the
Flower trellises up the side of the building and begins climbing up.
The killer pushes against the locked door of the kitchen. Then his
fist smashes the window and he climbs through.

	INT. HALLWAY

Tasha and Coar both look at where the sound of the smashing came
	from.

					TASHA
			What was that?

					COAR
			I don't know.

He walks a little towards a room.

	EXT. OUTSIDE

Siobhan glances down and nervously tries to get up the trellises as
quick as possible. Suddenly the killer begins rattling the trellis
hysterically, the frame begins to loosen and break in his hand.
Siobhan worries and tries her best to get up the side as quick as
possible. She gets to the top and reaches across the wall to the open
window. She can't reach and the wood is going to crumble down any
minute. She feels the trellis start to go and grabs onto the plastic
guttering along side of the roof. The woodwork falls down missing the
killer by centimetres. Siobhan looks down at the ground beneath her,
if she fell now she was sure to be dead! She shimmies along the
gutter to the window. Once above the window she raises her feet over
the window ledge and swings into the room.

	INT. ROOM

She rolls on the floor a bit but manages to get her balance back and
stand up. She sees the dead body of the man Joanne was with and
shields her mouth with her hand.

					SIOBHAN
Oh fuck I've got to get out of here!

She runs to the door and slowly creaks it open.

	INT. LANDING

She peeps out of the room, there's no one around so she slowly walks
	out of the room. Then
She slowly walks to the top of the stairs. At the bottom of the
stairs, Coar and Tasha are still there.

					SIOBHAN
			Coar! Tasha!

They both look up at her.

					TASHA
			Siobhan!

Suddenly the killer jumps out and pushes Tasha onto the floor.
Siobhan screams and runs down the stairs. Coar takes an umbrella from
the door and hits the killer hard in the side of the head. The killer
falls over and Tasha gets up. The killer gets to his feet and hurls
at Coar with the knife, he opens up the umbrella and the killer runs
	into it.

					COAR
Tasha! Siobhan! Go get out of here!

The go for the door but the killer gets up and blocks the way. They
worry and run upstairs. Leaving Coar and the killer to fight. They
run to lots of doors and push them open looking inside. They come to
	another and run in.

	INT. ROOM

Jane-Marie is stood at the window she turns around and screams.

					JANE-MARIE
Jesus! You guys scared me! Have you seen Shaun?

					SIOBHAN
You didn't know you where still here! Where did
			you last see Shaun?

					JANE-MARIE
He heard something and looked out the window. A
table had been totally snapped in half. He went out
			the window.

					SIOBHAN
Shit! There's a killer in the house! He already killed
			Joanne!

					TASHA
I think I know who it is Siobhan.

					SIOBHAN
			What? Why didn't you say?

					TASHA
I broke into the police file room and looked up some
			files on Shaun...

					JANE-MARIE
			Why Shaun?

					TASHA
I thought it was him! But what I in fact found was on
			Officer Werstein.

					SIOBHAN
			What? What did you find?

					TASHA
His Mum and Dad were both murdered in their
			home when Werstein was 16.

					SIOBHAN
			Why does that help us?

					TASHA
He was the only person there at the time. He said
he was upstairs in his room when it happened.

					SIOBHAN
			Why wasn't he arrested then?

					TASHA
Well because they believed his story.

					SIOBHAN
But why would he want to kill us?

					WERSTEIN (O. S)
			Good question.

They all turn to the doorway; Werstein is stood there with a small
	gun.

					WERSTEIN
Why would I want to kill anyone?

	They look worried.

					SIOBHAN
No one said for definite it was you.

					WERSTEIN
			No, except that noisy bitch!

	He looks at Tasha.

					WERSTEIN
The only person I'd want to kill is you! You probably
			did all this!

					TASHA
			What? I was attacked!

					WERSTEIN
Or so you say, no one else witnessed it!

					TASHA
			Fuck you!

					WERSTEIN
			No, fuck you!

He points the gun at her and she looks worried.

					SIOBHAN
			Werstein put the gun down!

					WERSTEIN
			Why should I?

					COAR (O. S)
			Because we said so!

He turns to Coar; Coar pushes the gun out of his hand and punches him
in the nose. Werstein falls over onto the bed. Siobhan picks up the
gun. She points it at them all individually shifting from one to the
	other quickly.

					SIOBHAN
Listen who the hell is doing this?

Then her face goes from angry and frustrated to shocked and open-
mouthed. We see the gun slowly drop from her hands.

					SIOBHAN
			It's Aaron.

					TASHA
What? But it could be Shaun or even Jane.

					JANE-MARIE
			Hey!

					SIOBHAN
No because she was with Shaun when Terri
			was murdered.

					JANE-MARIE
What? I-I wasn't with Shaun that night.

	Siobhan looks confused.

					SIOBHAN
But, but Shaun said that's why he wasn't at work.

					JANE-MARIE
Well he's a lying son of a bitch then!

					TASHA
That means it could be either Shaun or Aaron.

Siobhan glances down at the gun on the floor, so does Tasha, they
both dive onto the floor to retrieve it. It ends up in Tasha's
possession. She points it around the room. Werstein stands up off the
	bed.

					TASHA
We have to stick together if we're going to find
			out who the killer is.

					JANE-MARIE
			Why can't we just leave?

					TASHA
No one goes anywhere until we get this son of
			a bitch locked up!

Aaron runs into the room and Tasha points the gun at him. He puts his
hands up and backs away slowly.

					AARON
Wow, hey calm down. What's going on?

					SIOBHAN
			You tell us!

					AARON
			Tell you what?

Shaun walks into the room with a kitchen knife.

					SHAUN
Tell them how you attacked me!

					AARON
What? What the fuck are you talking about?

					SHAUN
It's him Tasha! Shoot the motherfucker!

Tasha is torn between decisions is it Shaun are Aaron? Coar looks
	like he's planning something.

					SHAUN
			He did, it's him.

					TASHA
How do we know it's not you?

					SHAUN
			It's not.

					TASHA
			Then what's with the knife?

					SHAUN
			I grabbed it for protection.

					SIOBHAN
Well where were you one the night when Terri
			was murdered?

					SHAUN
			With Jane.

					JENE-MARIE
			No you weren't!

					SHAUN
			What? Yes I was!

					SIOBHAN
Stop! We need to sort this out!

					JANE-MARIE
			Eeny meeny miny mo?

Tasha closes her eyes and fires randomly, it shoots towards Aaron and
he jumps out of the way onto the floor. Tasha pulls the trigger again
but the gun is out of bullets.

					TASHA
			What the fuck?

					AARON
That's what I want to know, you were going
			to kill me!

					TASHA
Get over it, Aaron. How often do you use this?

She looks at Werstein. Suddenly Coar jumps onto Shaun's back and
knocks him onto the floor. Shaun slashes out at Shaun and cuts into
his chest but doesn't kill him. Coars rolls over onto his back. Shaun
gets up to have Siobhan punch him in the face, he drops the knife and
Siobhan picks it up. She points it at Shaun and Aaron who are both on
	the floor.

					SHAUN
It's not me, that was self defence, he attacked me.

					SIOBHAN
Who the fuck is doing this?

					AARON
			Siobhan, you know I wouldn't do this! I couldn't!

Suddenly Shaun's foot lashes out and trips Siobhan up, she falls onto
her back and drops the knife, Shaun picks it up and stands.

					SHAUN
He's right, he could never do this; he's too soft.
			But me, I'm not!

The room fills with shocked expressions.

					TASHA
			You? You sick bastard!

					JANE-MARIE
What? Shaun? No, what are you saying.

					SHAUN
	 		You know what I'm saying.

					JANE-MARIE
You don't love me do you?

					TASHA
Is that all you're worried about?

					JANE-MARIE
			Shut up.

					SHAUN
			No Jane, you shut up!

Shaun raises the knife as if about to throw it.
Jane-Marie makes a run to the door.

					SHAUN
			Look out!

He throws the knife and it plants itself into her chest, Siobhan gets
off the floor and screams. Jane-Marie falls over dead.

					SIOBHAN
How can you do that? She had nothing to do
	  		with it, you're just crazy!

					SHAUN
			Crazy for you Siobhan.

					SIOBHAN
			What's that suppose to mean?

					SHAUN
Don't worry, you'll find out soon.

Shaun takes a gun out of his pocket.

					SHAUN
Now this is what I really need!

We see Werstein slowly un-strapping a gun from a gun holder on his
ankle. Without even looking at him, Shaun points the gun and shoots
him dead between the eyes. He faces Coar and points the gun.

					SHAUN
Now you've been a pain in my arse for ages!

He shoots him in the chest. Coar falls onto the bed. Shaun points the
gun at the remaining three people.

					AARON
Why did you do all this?

					SHAUN
Why? That's the question that always gets me
in horror movies! Why can't someone just be
			psychotic?

					TASHA
			So you're just a psychopath?

Shaun turns and points his gun at her.

					SHAUN
Now I never said I didn't have a reason. So
don't get smart with me bitch.

					SIOBHAN
Whatever it was, I don't think it's so bad that
you have to go on a killing spree!

He points the gun at her head.

					SHAUN
What would you know? This is your entire fault!

					SIOBHAN
My fault? How is this my fault?

					SHAUN
They always got in the way, you always wanted
them around, I never had a chance to express my
			feelings to you!

					SIOBHAN
Feelings? What are you talking about?

					SHAUN
All the people you cared for, all the people you
loved, well now they're gone, no more living in
			secrecy!

					SIOBHAN
What, you and I? Never in a million years!

	Shaun's face fills with anger.

					SHAUN
Now this is what pisses me off! I did all this
			for you!

					SIOBHAN
You think this is what I wanted? You think
I'd want all my friends dead just so I could
be with you? Well there's something you
should know, I never felt anything for you!

Shaun growls in anger and pulls his fist back getting ready to hit
Siobhan. But suddenly Aaron pushes him sideways onto the floor. Shaun
drops the gun and they fight forcefully for a while.
Siobhan dives down for the gun and picks it up. She pulls the top
back but before she can take aim on him, Shaun pulls on her ankle and
she falls over causing the gun to fly through the air into the centre
of the room. Aaron looks face to face at Shaun.

					AARON
You want her? Well I've got news for you! She's
			mine!

He punches him in the face. Shaun throws him off onto the floor and
scurries across the floor to the gun, he picks it up and sees Tasha
running for the door, he shoots but we don't see where the bullet
goes but Tasha falls over onto the floor on her front clutching her
	stomach. She doesn't move.

					SIOBHAN
			Tasha!

Shaun stands and points the gun down at Siobhan.

					SHAUN
One step closer to being together, Siobhan!

					SIOBHAN
			FUCK YOU!

					SHAUN
Don't worry, Siobhan, I will do soon!

He walks over to Aaron who is just getting up off the floor.

					SHAUN
			Are you ready Aaron?

					AARON
			Are you?

He grabs a vase of flowers off a table and smashes it over Shaun's
head. Water and flowers flow down his and he falls over with a bit of
blood dripping from his head. He lays still. Aaron slowly walks over
to Siobhan and helps her up to her feet.

					SIOBHAN
			Is he dead?

They look over at him, but he is gone and in his place is a small
	puddle of blood.

					AARON
			Shit!

Aaron paces quickly around the room.

					SIOBHAN
			Aaron?

					AARON
			Yeah?

					SIOBHAN
			Where's Tasha?

He looks over at where Tasha once was; she is indeed gone. He walks
over and realises and bullet hole in the doorframe.

					AARON
			The bullet never hit her!

					SIOBHAN
Do you think she's part of it?

					AARON
No, she was attacked or so she says.

					SIOBHAN
			We better go.

She walks to the door and Shaun jumps out pointing the gun at her
again. As his feet pass the gun holder on Werstein's ankle we see
that the gun inside is gone. We zoom in on it.
Shaun then points the gun at Aaron.

					SHAUN
Finally I can get this over with!

					SIOBHAN
			NO!

She jumps in and grabs Shaun's arms. She fights him causing the gun
to point into the air. The gun shoots and hits the light and the room
turns to darkness. Then Shaun leaps into Siobhan knocking her onto
her back and causing Shaun to land on top of her. He sits up and
points the gun at her head.

					SHAUN
Don't make me kill you Siobhan.

					SIOBHAN
Go on, Shaun; shoot me, here is your chance!

	He hesitates.

					SHAUN
			Don't press my button, girl!

					SIOBHAN
I thought I'd already done that, isn't that why
			you're doing this?

She pushes him off her chest and gets up. Her and Aaron run out of
	the room.

	INT. LANDING

They run to the stairs and Siobhan runs down first with Aaron
	following.

	INT. HALLWAY

They get to the bottom and turn towards the door, Tasha steps out in
front of them with the gun. Siobhan screams and they turn back to the
	stairs and run up.

					TASHA
			No WAIT!

	She follows them.

	INT. LANDING

Siobhan and Aaron run to the far side of the room and turn around.
Tasha is just coming up the stairs she slowly approaches them.

					TASHA
Listen, I'm not going to hurt anyone.

Then the airing cupboard door behind her opens and Shaun steps out
	with his gun.

					SIOBHAN
			LOOK OUT!

Tasha turns and points the gun.

					TASHA
			Except for maybe you!

	He points his gun.

					SHAUN
Not if I kill you first.

He fires at her but she jumps out of the way and clings onto the
banister. Shaun walks over to her and hits her hard in the side of
the head with the gun. She falls onto the floor and her eyes slowly
close. He takes the gun from her hand and walks towards Siobhan and
Aaron. He points one gun at each of them.

					SHAUN
			Now who to kill first?

					SIOBHAN
			You wouldn't!

					SHAUN
I think I've already proved I have the courage
			to take lives, don't you?

	He smiles an evil grin.

					AARON
			You're a sick motherfucker!

					SHAUN
That's right and you're a brave son of a bitch
			to say that to me.

He grabs him by the neck and pushes him up against the wall. He puts
	the gun to his chest.

					SHAUN
The heart or the head, take your pick!

					AARON
The head, but not mine, YOURS!

Suddenly a wooden chair hits Shaun in the back, he falls over,
letting go of Aaron and dropping both guns. He looks up to see Tasha.

					SHAUN
			Bitch!

He grabs a piece of wood off the floor and rattles it on her legs.
She falls down onto floor and he hits her in the head with it. She
falls flat on her back. He then stands and hits Aaron in the head as
	well, he also falls over.

					SHAUN
			There, in the head.

Then he walks over to Siobhan who has her arms behind her back, she
looks worried. He places his hand on her cheek.

					SHAUN
Don't worry, now we can be together.

					SIOBHAN
			You wish.

She pulls her arm from behind her back to reveal one of the guns in
her hand; she presses it against his stomach.

					SIOBHAN
You know I used to have a crush on you, but now
you've ruined any chance of being with me!

She pulls the trigger and he spits blood into her face. He pushes on
the gun and lures him back towards the banister. She fires again and
he hits the banister hard, it splinters, she then raises the gun for
the third time to his chest.

	SIOBHAN
			Good-bye honey.

She shoots him for the final time and the banister gives way causing
him to fall down to the bottom of the stairs. Siobhan rushes to the
side of the banister and looks down at Shaun's body. On angle:
looking up on Siobhan staring down at Shaun.
She walks over to Aaron who is still alive and helps him up. Tasha
also gets up and walks towards them.

					SIOBHAN
			You're alive!

					TASHA
Yeah well I don't feel like it.

	They all smile.

					SIOBHAN
			It's finally all over.

Then Coar stumbles out of the room and over to them. He falls but
Siobhan catches him in her arms.

					SIOBHAN
			Whoa take it easy!

					COAR
Shit I'm glad this is all over!

					AARON
			Me too.

	We hear police sirens.

					COAR
Typical, they arrive five years after it's finished!

They slowly make their way down the stairs, stepping over Shaun's
	body.

	EXT. CAR PARK

Police cars and ambulances are in the car park and most police have
their doors open and are standing over the top of them with guns
pointed. The barmaid is stood low behind one ambulance. The door of
the hotel slowly opens and out step the four remaining survivors.

					SIOBHAN
It's all - it's all over. The killer has been given a
			taste of his own medicine!

The police and medics begin to relax. Aaron, Tasha and Coar walk into
the car park and a police officer walks up to Siobhan.

					POLICEMAN
			Where are the bodies?

	A medic walks over.

We see Coar walk up to the barmaid.

					COAR
			What took you so long?

					BARMAID
			They didn't believe me.

					COAR
Did you say I sent you?

					BARMAID
We got here as fast as we could OK?

					COAR
So, you want to get a drink or something?

					BARMAID
			Is that a date proposal?

					COAR
			Indeed it is.

					BARMAID
			I'd be honoured.

They walk away talking quietly towards the back doors of an
	ambulance.

					COAR
			So what's you name?

					BARMAID
			Jemima.

					COAR
			 That's a beautiful name.

					JEMIMA
You think so? I hate it.

Aaron and Tasha walk over to an ambulance and sit in it.

					TASHA
			Think we can be quiet?

He looks at her with a 'Don't be stupid' look on his face.

					TASHA
			I was joking!

Back to the policeman and Siobhan.

					SIOBHAN
... And the killer; Shaun Ferloe, is at the bottom
			of the stairs.

	The medic interrupts.

					MEDIC
Actually, we didn't find any body at the bottom of
			the stairs.

					SIOBHAN
			What?

She runs back into the house.

	INT. HALLWAY

She pushes past the people surrounding the bottom of the stairs and
looks at the empty steps of the stairs. Her mouth drops open as we
zoom in on the terrified look on her face.
