Bounty Hunter

The proffession of the Bounty Hunter has descended from the early middle ages and was practiced by policemen, guards and villains.

The second day of April, a bank in the small town of Mt. Kenobi was robbed by a man named Frankie Roth, A known criminal associated with hitman Sid Meier, The man who assassinated Elton John Jr. III, son of the daughter of the Man formerly known as Prince... But something went terribly wrong...

Roth had the bad luck to just see a black cat cross the street, so he had To spit three times over his left shoulder but, doing this, he stumbled over a Dead man and ran beneath a ladder, simultaneously tripping on his shoelaces into a donut shop were his keys slid over a table and smashed a nearby mirror. Within a second Roth had 67 pistols pointed at him, this because he had to rob a bank on the national donut day. But Roth was quick on his feet to tell a lawyer joke. All the cops laughed and Roth ran the hell out of there.

But one officer, Officer Barbrady didn’t understand the joke so he ran after him to ask for an explanation to the joke. Being awfully clumpsy, Barbrady slipped on a banana accidently shooting himself in the foot. The other 66 cops heard this and ran to his rescue. Since barbrady hadn’t passed kindergarden they didn’t understand a word he said and thought Roth was the shooter.

66 pistols was simultaneously fired at the poor bank robber, of course, all of them missed. Roth was now sure of his escape and ran into an alley to hide the money. Unfortunately he hid them into the banks servicehatch. The second after he realised his mistake and dived after. Roth, not exactly being the weightwatcher of the year got stuck. It took 67 cops to pull him out of the hatch and he lost 5 pounds. He was interrogated by the police for hours but he managed to hold his mouth shut. But then they used their best torture-tool, Officer Barbrady singing the National Anthem. This made him tell them all about organised crime in and around Chicago. He was later released and was free to go home.

But one of his collegues had monitored everything he did from a microphone that was hidden in his butt. When he was walking home, his collegue shot him 25 times in his back. Unfortunately, a girl named Padmé saw the hole thing. Now, the mafia started looking for her but they couldn´t find her anywhere. So, they went to Mace Windu, Bounty hunter...

EXT. Mafia building – Day

Mace Windu walks into the building.

INT. Mafia Building – Day

Camera follows Mace Windu into an office where The Godfather, Joey Tribbiani is waiting for him (facing the window).

MACE WINDU

So, what can I do for you today godfather?

JOEY TRIBBIANI

You can help me track down a young woman, Padmé Katarn.

MACE WINDU

Katarn?! That´s the name of...

TRIBBIANI

The name of who?

MACE WINDU

The name of my old girlfriend. I thought she had moved to Seattle! Damn, I was so worried about her, I was sleepless when I went after her!

TRIBBIANI

I hope this doesn´t change your perception of the mission?

MACE WINDU

I´m not sure...

TRIBBIANI

What do you mean, not sure?! You know, I have known you for a long time Mace...

MACE WINDU

So...?

TRIBBIANI

So, you don´t just walk out on me Mace! I need your help!

MACE WINDU

I´m sorry Joey, I can´t bring her in, I know you to well by this time.

TRIBBIANI

Then we´ll just have to find someone who will, won´t we?! Get out!

MACE WINDU

Hmmm...

Mace Windu exits the room and Tribbiani´s “right hand man”, Joe Pantoliano, walks in.

PANTOLIANO

What was that all about boss?

TRIBBIANI

We just lost our best Bounty Hunter...

PANTOLIANO

That´s allways the thing with the ex-coppers, they can´t be trusted. So, what are you gonna do about it?

TRIBBIANI

I´m gonna make him an offer he can´t refuse...

Fade out...

EXT. PALM´s house – Evening

Camera follows a car on the way to PALM´s house. It stops just outside the door and Mace Windu exits.

INT. PALM´s house – Evening

The door opens and Mace Windu goes in. Everything is very quiet. He goes towards the kitchen where a man in a skimask is standing. He is holding an MP5 in his hand hand is searching the fridge for some food. Mace Windu sneaks up behind him and pushes his head into the fridge. Then he slams the door three times into the man´s head so that he falls down on the floor. But when he is reaching for his weapon Mace Windu pulls his gun and shoots the villain in his forhead. The camera switches to another villain, that turns around just as he´s on his way to search under the bed, where Padmé is hidden. When he walks out of the room, the camera PAN down to the floor, revealing Padme´s location. Mace Windu hears the villain coming down in the stairs and hides beneath them. When the villain is heading for the kitchen, Mace Windu sneaks up from behind him and twists his neck. Then he drags him into the kitchen. Then he carefully walks up the stairs to the second floor. He starts searching it and finds Padmé under the bed.

PADME

Mace?! What the hell are you doing here?!

MACE WINDU

I´ve come to save you Padme, and if we don´t get going now, i´m not gonna do a good job!

PADME

Okay, but you ow me an explanation!

MACE WINDU

Just keep close to me, and you´ll be safe.

They walk down the stairs and goes for the door.

EXT. PALM´s house – Evening

The door opens and Padme and Mace Windu runs out. But just as they come out, a black car pulls up on the on the driveway and out comes two more men with skimasks and a third man, Joe Pantoliano.

PANTOLIANO

Get them!

MACE WINDU

Crap! Run!

Padme and Mace Windu runs out on the street followed by the two masked guys. They run all the way down to the valley(dalen i billeberga). Here, they hide under a giant tree that has collapsed. When the two masked guys comes into the valley, they split up. One of them follows the small river and the other one comes right for Padme and Mace. But as he walks right past them, Mace sneaks up from behind him. He gets ready to grab his neck and twist it, but accidently steps on a stick and breaks it. The villain hears this and turns around. Then he punches Mace in the face. Then he tries to kick Mace but he dodges it by grabbing his leg and twists it so that he falls down on the ground. But, then he kicks Mace so that he falls down and the villain rise up. But just as he´s going to shoot Mace, Padmé hits him in the back of his head with a pole. This actually kills him and Padmé helps Mace to get up on his feet again.

MACE WINDU

Thanks Padmé, you saved my life! How can I ever repay you?!

PADME

You saved my life a while ago, you can see this as me repaying you!

MACE WINDU

Well, we better get out of her before that other guy get´s here...

They run to the train platform and run across the tracks. After a while, they come to a parking lot where thay steal a car and drive away...

EXT. Porch at EMIL´s house – Night

Padmé and Mace Windu are sitting on the stairs, talking.

PADME

So, doesn´t anyone live here anymore?

MACE

No, a while ago it was used by WITSEC, because of its remote location.

PADME

WITSEC?

MACE

The Witness Security Program. If you would have contacted the police they would have placed you in a house just like this one, and maby they would have given you a couple of officers to watch over you.

PADME

So, am I safe here with you?

MACE

Oh your safe alright! I have installed state of the art technology in this house and the surrounding area. You don´t have to worry about anything.

PADME

Ok! Ok! So where do I sleep tonight?

MACE

You sleep up there(pointing at a window in the upper roof). And I´ll stay down here and keep watch. I think we can expect some company pretty soon.

PADME

Then why are we still sitting here? Shouldn´t we go inside?

MACE

........Okay, let´s go. I have som equipment I have to show to you....

INT. EMIL´s house – Night

The camera films up the ladder as they are pulling it up. Next angle: Up with them. Mace kneels on the floor and opens a bag. He starts pulling things out of it such as binoculars, guns, cameras,infrared beams and so on... He loads a gun and gives it to Padmé.

MACE

Do you know how to use one of these?

PADME

Of course I do! I have TV to you know...

MACE

Well, it´s not exactly like firing a gun in Hollywood! For the first, your ammo is limited, secondly, killing someone is not always easy, even if it´s a bad guy!

PADME

I suppose your right, I´ll only use it when the situation is critical...

MACE

Believe me when I say this: With these guys, the situation is always critical... Just try to stay out of sight and you´ll be alright...

Mace starts to install some of the equipment he has brought and Padmé is sitting on the floor, waiting for something to happen. Fade out...

EXT. EMIL´s house, the road – Night

A car stops at the crossroads and four men jump out of it. They start running towards the house and hides in the bushes.

Zoom in on one of the infrared sensors while one of the masked guys walks by it.

INT. EMIL´s house, the loft – Night

The alarm go´s of. Mace crawls towards Padmé and wakes her up.

PADME

Mace? What´s wrong?

MACE

They´re here...

Padmé grabs her gun and hides behind an edge. Mace crawls out on a ledge and aims at the front door.

EXT. EMIL´s house – Night

The masked men take positions, one sniper on the hill,one man opening the front door, one covering him and one guy by the the back door. The door opens amd we see the masked men enter through Mace´s infrared goggles. They slowly walk into the room and look everywhere. One of the men lifts up his mask and leans towards the other man. Closeup on their faces.

MASKED MAN 1

You try to get up on the roof, it´s the only way up to the loft..(wisper)

MASKED MAN 2

Okay, watch out...(wisper)

He slowly walks out of the house and Mace sees his chance. He throws a hammer to the far end of the room. When it impacts against the wall, the masked man turns around and Mace quickly grabs the ladder and slides it down the ledge. The ladder hits the masked man so that he falls to the ground. Mace slowly climbs down the ladder to see if the villain´s dead. When he reaches the ground he aim´s he´s gun at the masked man. But he put´s it away just as fast and stands ontop of the masked man instead. He puts his arms around the masked mans head but just as he is going to twist his neck the masked man wakes up and throws Mace over his shoulder. They tumble around on the ground and Padmé tries to get a clear shot but it´s impossible. But the sniper on the hill outside sees his chance and takes it. A shot is fired and everything is quiet after that.

PADME

MACE!!! MACE!!! Are you OK?!!!

Mace is lying ontop of the masked man and none of them are moving. She climbs down the ladder to see if Mace is alright. She reaches the ground and shakes him. Mace utters a small sigh.

PADME

MACE! Your alive!

MACE

Yeah, that sniper hit my shoulder but the bullet... it passed right...through me and hit his...(checking)..head... or at least that´s what it used to be...

PADME

Come on, we have got to get out of here, it´s not safe!

MACE

Your right, there are two more of those guys on there way in here..

PADME

How do you know that?

MACE

´Cause these guy´s are ex-cops, and so am I...

PADME

SWAT?

MACE

Exactly. We should expect at least one from the roof, the other one, I don´t know...

PADME

So why the hell did you quit your job? Isn´t it well payed?

MACE

I´ll have to tell you that one later, right now I´m more worried about that second guy, and where he is...

PADME

Come on, get up we have to take care of these guys... And I can´t do it alone!

MACE

Okay, help me up. Hide over there(pointing at the side of a doorhole).

Padmé follows Mace´s instruction´s and stands by the doorhole. Mace sits down on the other side of the room and aim´s at the doorhole. Then, a masked man comes sneaking out of the dark room behind the doorhole. Mace pulls the trigger but he has forgotten to unlock the safe on the gun. So, the gun clicks and in the huge silence, this is heard by the masked man who points his gun in the direction that Mace is hiding in. Fortunately, Padmé steps out from behind the wall and fires a couple of shots into masked man´s back. He falls to the ground. Then the hear the window on the loft being opened and they look up. Shots are heard in the background and Padme and Mace runs out through the bak door. They run to the front of the house and surprise the waiting sniper. Mace fires a couple of shots right at him and kill´s him. Padmé fires the rest of her clip at the guy on the roof so that he falls down the roof backwards. This whole sequence is followed by some kind of a victory song. Padmé and Mace move closer together. But as they are on there way to kiss eachother, a shot is heard. Padme gasps and falls to the ground and Mace quickly sits down besides her. Frustrated he starts to cry while he´s bent over her body on the ground. Behind him som applauding can be heard. Camera: Pan up from his face as he become angry. Pan reveals Tribbiani and Pantoliano. Mace changes he´s face to a very angry face and turns around.

MACE

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TRIBBIANI

Oh I´m sorry old buddy, she had to go, and you know our reasons.

PANTOLIANO

Good work taking out the whole squad, good thing it wasn`t our men!

MACE

What the hell do you mean...?

TRIBBIANI

You and your little girlfriend here just executed squad 905, from the Chicago Police Department. They were tipped of by an anonymous call that a famous terrorist was hangin´ around here...

MACE

You´re a fuckin´ asshole Tribbiani, you always was...

PANTOLIANO

Now, now, don´t go blaming us for this! Your the one who started it all by choosing to betray the family just to help a stupid girl!

MACE

Your gonna pay for this, and you know it!

A shot echoes in the air and Pantoliano falls to the ground.

MACE & TRIBBIANI

What the...?

The camera focals on the Padmé, who is holding a smoking gun. She pulls the trigger but nothing happens, her clip is empty! Tribbiani runs towards the crossroads and Mace runs towards a moped that is parked in the garage. He starts it and get´s ready to drive off.

MACE

I love you...(he sais with ha smile on his face)

Padmé smiles and nods.

Mace drives after Tribbiani who has just started his car. Tribbiani drives off at full speed with Mace right behind him. But when Mace realises that he´s losing him he takes a shortcut over the field. He drives back on the road and is now in front of Tribbiani. Mace starts to shoot at the car so that Tribbiani looses the control of it and pulls the handbrake. Mace climbs off the moped and slowly starts walking toward the car. But suddenly it comes right at him and he has to throw himself of the road. But, when the car passes him he takes a good aim at the petrol-tank and fires the gun which results in a huge explosion(use the burning car footage from doom´s hill or an exploding car from another movie). Mace picks up his phone.

MACE

911? I have an emergency....

Fade out...

EXT. Plaza in Kågeröd – Day (underlined: 2 months later)

Mace is sitting on a bench, waiting. Padmé comes walking towards him.

PADME

Hi honey, phone, for you!

MACE

(get cell-phone from Padmé)

Yes? Convicted robber huh? Cutter Slade? That´s a wierd name! Okay, we´ll take him!

PADME

How did it go sweetie?

MACE

Hehe, isn´t it amazing how much people will pay to get someone brought in these days?!

Mace gets up and together they jump into the backseat of a car and drives off.

Fade out. – End Credits.
