School Daze
Battle Ground: Merit Brown

Fade in-
The school courtyard. It is the beginning of noon.
Suddenly a grenade flies from off screen. Hits the
middle of the courtyard and detonates! Then the perky
happy school courtyard turns into a war zone! Barbed
wire dividing the middle of the courtyard, and places
where other explosions took place. Gray smoke lingers
in the air. There are 6th, 7th, and 8th graders on both
sides. Their dressed up in camouflage and army
clothes.
Cut to: a close up of a dirty and practically in
pieces sign. It says: Exploratory Wheel Allies. The
camera pulls back to reveal a lot of kids. Some we
know, Jeff, James, Brian, Justin and others... Then,
Alex walks up to Matt, he is the captain of their
team.
Alex-
Hello, sir! I'm Alex; I've just been
drafted into the Exploratory Wheel Allies, sir!
Matt-
Good, we need all the people we can get! Go over
there.
Alex goes to where Matt told him.
Matt-
(Talking to the group)
I am Captain Matt!... This is not just a simple feud!
This is a war! A war against the Band Allies! We will
prevail! We will win! Only if we all fight like a
team! Now lets go kick some Band a**!
Cut to: a tight shot of a battered up sign that says:
Band Allies. Camera pulls back to reveal Harley, he
is standing before group of battle kids.
Harley-
Men! I'm not sure if you noticed it or not, but were
at war! I'm General Harley, when I tell you to do
something you do it! The Exploratory Wheel Allies
think their better! But we will win!... we will kick
their buts! And I wanna see all of yawl fighting! Get
out there and destroy them! Dismissed!
All of the kids scatter to the battlefield.
Cut to: the Exploratory Wheel Allies' base.
Alex-
Hey James, how long have we been at war?
James-
A couple of weeks.
Alex-
Dang! We-
The sight of a grenade falling in his lap stops his
sentence. He picks it up.
Alex-
Uhhhh... Ummmmm... What do I do with this?
James-
Get rid of it!!!!
Alex throws it into the battlefield where it
detonates.
Matt-
Were under attack!!!!! Everyone, fall out!!!!!!
The kids all run to the battlefield. Camera pans up
to the war zone, there are kids behind barriers made
of sand bags throwing grenades and shooting guns.
Some kids are already bleeding on the ground, some
dead.
Cut to: overhead shot of a classroom, the kids are
watching the war on TV.
Reporter on TV-
I am you're I-TV reporter bringing you this
terrifying war! Some kids have died already as the
Band Allies executed a deadly attack! The Exploratory
Wheel Allies , or the E.W.A., have held them off for
several hours. We have just got word that they are
drafting more troops into the war! Of course, Band
kids will fight for the Band Allies, and Exploratory
Wheel kids will fight for the E.W.A.
Camera pans down to show a few kids talking. One is
named Logan, another is named Guy, and the last is
named Erica.
Logan-
I hope they don't draft mE into the war! I have
friends in the E.W.A. like Alex, and James and a lot
of others! Do you guy?
Guy-
No way Logan! I hate war! Besides I wanted to go to
the Exploratory Wheel anyway, my mom wanted me to
take Band!... what about you Erica?
Erica-
I don't know, I like a good fight but I have some
friends in the war too. My friend Holly is in Band,
but I don't think she wants to be drafted either! I
like the Exploratory Wheel and all but this war is
stupid!
Logan-
I just hope they don't draft me!
The Intercom-
This is an announcement! All kids in band, please
report to the band room! All the kids in the
Exploratory Wheel go to the gym! That is all.
Cut to: the battlefield. Alex, James, and Jeff are
behind a barrier. They are resting from the war.
Alex-
Man those chorus kids are lucky! They don't have to
be drafted into this thing!
Jeff-
Yeah, you're right! I think that everyone should be
included! But hey! Its almost as if were fighting for
our country in an anime!
James-
Heh! Cool!
Suddenly there is a small explosion next to them.
Jeff-
Are we under attack?
There is another explosion.
Alex-
My guess is yes.
Cut to: the gym. All of the Exploratory Wheel kids
are there with a kid named Shawn.
Shawn-
Ok! We are all here for one reason... to fight! You
have all been drafted! You're reinforcements! When
you're told to go to the battlefield you go!... now
everybody go get in gear!
The kids all go to their lockers. Matt then walks up
to Shawn.
Matt-
We need to barricade the door over there, or they can
just come in when ever they want!
Shawn-
You're right. Lets get on it.
Matt-
Lets?? You get on it!
Shawn-
Yes sir!
Cut to: Alex, Jeff & James in battle, their fireing
their weapons as they talk.
Alex-
I herd that we have some new recruits in the gym.
James-
Yeah, they come in when someone dies!
Jeff-
Good! We need some more soldiers!
Matt walks up to the three.
Matt-
Lt. Shawn needs some help; go to the gym and help.
Alex, Jeff & James-
Yes sir!
Cut to: the gym, Shawn is trying to barricade the
door. Then the three soldiers come up to him.
Alex-
Need some help sir?
Shawn-
No, just keep an eye on the recruits.
All of the new recruits are suited up and ready for
battle. They are sitting in the middle of the gym.
Suddenly, the gym doors open and tons of the Band
Allies poor into the room! Shooting their guns and
throwing grenades. Shawn try's to stop one of them
but then just gets killed by crossfire.
Alex-
Lt.!!!!!
Alex, Jeff & James all run into the Band Allie base
from the door they were trying to barricade (camera
follows). There are tons of men fireing at the three
battle men. Alex throws a grenade into the crowd of
enemies. It blows up, sending tons of enemies dead or
injured into the air.
Jeff-
Thanks Alex!
James-
Yeah, that was pretty good!
They all run into a portable (a classroom that isn't
attached to the main building of the school).
Cut to: inside of the portable. Harley is sitting
down with two dead guards at is feet and Jeff's
machine gun at his head.
Alex-
I think the captain will let him live, what do you
think James?
James-
I don't know, I mean he attacked our barracks full of
recruits and I think that the captain is pretty
ticked off!
Alex-
Bag 'em up and we'll drag him to base.
James pulls out a bag and puts it over Harley's head
and then ties him up with a small rope, and then they
leave the room.
Cut to: E.W.A. base, Matt is talking to a battle man.
Battle man-
Most of the reinforcements have been killed, others
wounded, and few operational, sir.
Matt-
Well, we'll have to do something.
Alex, Jeff & James approach them with Harley in a
bag.
Matt-
(Notices the other three kids with a p.o.w.)
Dismissed.
The battle man leaves.
Alex-
Sir we got out right after the attack in the gym, we
got General Harley!
Matt-
Good work private! You three make a good team. We've
been looking for a new Battle Squad. You three are
now Bravo Team! You guys will carry out missions to
help us against the Band Allies.
Jeff-
Cool!
James-
What do you want us to do with Harley?
Matt-
Take him to E.W.A. prison. We'll figure something
out.
Alex, Jeff & James-
Yes sir!
Bravo team takes Harley inside a door that has a sign
next to it that says: D 106-D 115.
Cut to: Bravo team going into a door, we can see a
little through the window, there are a bunch of
wounded prisoners. The door closes and a sign on it
says: D 108.
Cut to: inside of classroom. James drops Harley at
the feet of the guard.
Guard-
Who's this?
Alex-
This is General Harley; he is the leader of the Band
Allies. We're Bravo Team, we captured him.
Guard-
Bravo Team! I herd their the best battle squad in the
E.W.A.! their last members got killed in an explosion
in a portable.
James-
We know.
Jeff-
We're higher ranked than you, shouldn't you be
saluting us?
Guard-
You're right! I'm sorry sirs'.
He salutes them.
Alex-
Carry on.
Bravo Team leaves the room.
Cut to: the band room. Many kids are there. Their lt.
Is named Brandon.
Brandon-
Ok, yawl know you're gonna be in the war pretty soon,
right?
Logan-
Uh, lt. Brandon, do we have to enter the war?
Brandon-
Of course! Plus yawl need to keep a look out for
E.W.A. soldiers! We attacked their reinforcements;
it's likely they'll attack ours.
Suddenly (just as Brandon Suspected) the door
explodes. Smoke clears and the Bravo Team enters.
Brandon grabs a gun and begins to shoot. A bullet
skids James' shoulder, then he blows Brandon away.
Everyone else begins to shot the trio. Alex notices
Logan in hiding behind a piano. Alex races over
there.
Alex-
Logan! We need to get you out of here!
The stay low under big instruments as they go out the
other door at another side of the band room.
Cut to: a hallway, Alex and Logan are running. Then
Alex finds room: D 108.
Alex-
Go in there, I'll be there later.
Logan-
Ok.
Cut to: the band room. Jeff and James are holding off
what's left of the reinforcements of the Band Allies.
Then Alex runs into the room to help them.
Alex-
We need help!
James-
Yeah, but we can hold them off.
Jeff notices that some of the kids are leaving
through the other door.
Jeff-
Hey guys! Look, they're escaping!
Alex-
I guess they saw me and Logan leave.
James-
Huh?
Alex-
Never mind, lets get the he** out of here!
The Bravo Team runs out. (Camera follows) as they run
to the base. They meet Matt there.
Matt-
What are you doing here?!?!?
James-
Most of their reinforcements were killed, but they
were escaping, so we left.
Alex-
They have about as much troops as we do now.
Matt-
Well, I guess... Good work! Alright, find you guys a
barrier and start to fight!
Alex, Jeff & James-
Yes sir!!
They walk off screen.
Cut to: Guy stumbling toward the prison room.
Cut to: inside of the prison room. Everything is
quiet, then the door bust open as Guy comes in, he is
wounded by a gunshot to the side.
Guy-
Hey... Logan. (Looks at the guard) Guard, I herd the
get treated better here than they do at base
hospital.
The prison medic runs up to him and carry's him to a
small cot.
Guy-
Hey doc!
Medic-
Ok, you've been shot in the lung!
Guy-
No kiddin!
Logan runs up to Guy.
Logan-
Guy, are you ok?
Cut to: a barrier where the Bravo Team is.
James-
(While shooting his gun and throwing grenades)
I was wondering, what were you doing with Logan?
Alex-
(While he was shooting his gun and throwing grenades)
Logan's a kid who doesn't like fights, and I didn't
like to see him put into something where he would
have to fight or better yet kill someone!... I remember
sometime during the beginning of the year, he wore a
little cross that said "W.W.J.D." I know how he must
hate war, so when I saw him I thought of what Jesus
would do. Then I took him to the E.W.A. prison room.
Jeff-
(Doing the same thing)
Yeah, that was a good idea, Logan is a good kid.
Matt approaches them.
Alex-
What is it sir?
Matt-
Go help the men in the gym. They need it.
Bravo Team-
Yes sir!!
Cut to: inside of what used to be a gym but now is a
base hospital. Many lie dead, others sit up wounded
and some are just plain terrified. Bravo Team
walkinto the door.
Alex-
Is that door barricaded?
Someone off screen-
Yeah!
Alex-
Good. We don't need another attack.
James-
I think the Band Allies have it barricaded on their
side too.
Alex-
Heh! Cool.
Jeff-
Alex, isn't that Brian?
Alex looks over and sees Brian lieing down with some
gauze wrapped around his shoulder with blood seeping
through it. They walk over to him.
Brian-
Hi guys.
Jeff-
Are you ok?
Brian-
Oh, this? I barely felt the bullet.
Alex-
It's ok Brian you can tell us.
James-
You weren't drafted before yawl were told to come
here?
Brian-
Nope, I really didn't feel like getting shot... looks
like I failed to dodge it.
Alex-
Medic!
A medic comes up to them from off screen.
Medic-
What?
Alex-
Is this kid gonna be alright?
Medic-
(Pulls him away from James, Jeff & Brian)
he'll be ok, but it's gonna be a long time before
he's in the war again.
Alex-
Why? It's just a gunshot wound.
Medic-
It's more than that... See, the Band Allies laced their
bullets with some kind of poison. We've yet to figure
out a cure.
Alex-
Wait a minute! James had a bullet skid his shoulder!
Medic-
Well, it looks like Bravo Team is gonna be looking
for a new member soon.
Alex-
What?!?!? You gotta be kiddin me!
Medic-
We've been doing research for the past few hours. We
still haven't found anything out.
Alex-
You need to keep researching or you'll find you're
self in the middle of that battlefield with out a
barrier!
Medic-
Yes sir!!
Alex walks back to the others.
James-
Well?
Alex-
Well, I found out something interesting...
Jeff-
What?
Alex-
I'll tell you later... James, you need to stay here... Ya
know to help people out...
James-
What?? No!
Alex-
YES!
James-
Ok, ok.
Alex-
Jeff why don't you stay here for a few minutes, I
have to make a stop some ware real quick.
Jeff-
Ok.
Cut to: the prison room. Guy is still lieing down on
a cot with Logan and the medic around him. Then Alex
walks in.
Logan-
Alex!
Alex-
Logan, I need you to help me.
Notices Guy.
Alex-
Guy!... Are you allright?
Guy-
Not really.
Alex-
You're lucky you didn't get shot by one of you're
men!
Guy-
Huh?
Alex-
Never mind. Logan, get suited up and come with me.
Alex drops a duffle bag at Logan's feet.
Alex-
Don't worry, you wont be in the war or killing
anybody.
Logan-
Ok.
Cut to: the gym. James, Jeff & Brian are sitting
together, then Alex and Logan come up.
Alex-
Hey Jeff, we need to go.
Jeff-
Ok, hey Logan.
Logan-
Hi Jeff.
Cut to: the Cafeteria. The new Bravo Team (with is
just Alex, Jeff & Logan) are on a new mission.
Alex-
Ok, the Band Allies poisoned their bullets. So I'm
sure we'll find something to help people that got
shot in here.
They walk into the kitchen. (Camera follows)
Jeff-
What's this?
He picks up a bucket of something.
Alex-
Yesterday's lunch. But the Band Allies may as well
laced their bullets with that.
Logan-
Heh.
Alex opens a fridge and fog spreds everyware. Then we
can see a pan with some kind of liquid in it. He
pulls it out.
Alex-
What's this.
Then we can see that there are bullets soaking in it.
Jeff-
The poison!
Logan-
Yeah!
Alex-
What is that liquid?
Logan-
Lets go to the science lab use the scanner.
Jeff-
Yeah! They have this machine that if you slide
something through it; it tells you what the compound
is.
Alex-
Good idea! Lets go!
They run off screen.
Cut to: the science lab, Alex pours some of the
liquid into a small cup and puts it into the machine.
Alex-
It's a mixture of....... Sour milk, and garbage?
Jeff & Logan-
Huh?
Alex-
We need to get down to base hospital!
Jeff-
Right!
They run off screen.
Cut to: the gym. A medic is working in some kind of
chemistry lab. Then the "new" Bravo Team runs up to
him.
Medic-
What is it Bravo Team?
Alex-
Well, we found out what the poison was.
Medic-
What?
Logan-
Liquid garbage.
Medic-
Huh?
Jeff-
It is! All you need to do is just clean out their
system with water!... oh, and get the bullets out of
them.
Medic-
Yes sir!!
Alex, Jeff & Logan walk over to James & Brian.
(Camera follows)
James-
I'm poisoned yawl!
Alex-
Not of long, we figured out how to help you guys!
Brian-
Really!
Logan-
Yeah!
Cut to: a black screen with the following sentence
spurred: A few days later...
Cut to: the battleground. All of Bravo Team is behind
a barrier (without Logan).
James-
(While shooting his gun & throwing grenades)
I wish Brian could be part of our team!
Jeff-
(Doing the same)
Yeah, he would have been a good fighter!
Alex-
(Doing the same)
Well, at least he is on a battle squad.
James-
(Doing the same_
I still can't believe that all of the prisoners broke
out.
Alex-
(Doing the same)
Yeah, but Logan is in the war.
Jeff-
(Doing the same)
Really, how?
Alex-
(Doing the same)
Band Allies put him in the Intelligence Squad.
Jeff-
(Doing the same)
He still doesn't belong in the war.
James-
(Doing the same)
What's Brian's battle squad's name?
Alex-
(Doing the same)
I think its Eagle Squad.
Jeff-
(Doing the same)
What barrier are they at?
Alex-
(Resting)

James-
(Resting)
What's ours?
Alex-

Jeff-

Cool.
Suddenly the ground shakes, as an explosion was herd.
James-
What was that?
Alex-
I don't know, maybe a grenade exploding!!!!
Then Matt runs up to them.
Matt-
Guys that was barrier 27, Eagle Squad is gone!
Alex-
What?!?!?!?
Jeff-
What do you want us to do?
Matt-
Yawl need to go to their supply portable and blow it
away!
Bravo Team-
Yes sir!!
Matt leaves then Bravo team leaves.
Cut to: a large portable. There are two guards at the
door. Then a Bravo Team comes up and hides behind a
large bush. Alex pulls out a grenade.
Alex-
This is for Brian!
He pulls out the key and throws the grenade at the
two guards and it then explodes explodes, rendering
the guards dead.
Alex-
Lets go!
James-
Allrightty.
They run into the portable.
Cut to: inside of the portable. There are tons of
guns and grenades, sandbags to make barriers, tents
to set up a camp someware, and barbed wire for other
things. But most of the supply was guns and grenades.
James-
They may as well call the Merit Brown Elective Feud:
W.W.III!
Alex-
Yup!
Jeff-
Lets just arm some of those grenades and blow this
place up.
Alex-
It's gonna be a heck of an explosion!
James-
It sure will!
Alex-
Well, there are some detonators over there. We could
arm those and set them of when we get out. That
explosian would set of the other grenades and fire
the guns or something.
Jeff-
Cool!
James-
Lets get started.
Cut to: a black screen. The following sentence is
spurred:
About ten minutes later...
Cut to: out side of the portable. Bravo Team walks
out of the door, Alex has a small remote control.
They all get a good distance from it.
Alex-
Well, here's one very, very big step towards
defeating the Band Allies.
James & Jeff-
Blow it away!!!!!!!!!!!
Alex-
Good-bye!!!
Alex hits the button and they run like crazy. About
five seconds after he hit the button, it exploded!
The commotion brought about 4 kids to see what had
happened. When they noticed Bravo Team, they started
shooting. Then Bravo Team ran, of course, the other
guys chased them.
Cut to: the E.W.A. base. Matt is sitting at a desk,
then Bravo Team comes running up and startles Matt.
Alex-
Get ready sir, we're about to have some company!
Matt-
Did you get rid of the supply portable?
Alex-
Yes sir!!
Matt-
Good work soldiers... ok, go inform some men.
Alex-
Yes sir!!
Bravo Team runs off screen. Then Matt walks over to a
few men.
Matt-
Guys, if some Band Allies run up and attack, hold
them off.
The soldiers-
Yes sir!!
Cut to: Bravo Team. They are talking to some
soldiers.
Alex-
Go to the north entrance of the base. There are some
enemies about to attack.
One of the soldiers-
Allright.
The soldiers run off screen. Alex looks over.
Alex-
Hey guys, go to the north entrance, you'll find out
when you get there.
Alex-
(Talking to the rest of Bravo Team)
Lets go.
Cut to: the north entrance. A bunch of soldiers are
holding off a bunch off Band Allies. Then Bravo Team
comes up to them to help them. Then matt walks up to
Bravo Team.
Matt-
Guys, you're just wasted here.
Alex-
Okaayy...
Matt-
Go to the enemy base; take out any thing you see!
Portables, men, camps! We couldn't do this earlier.
Last time we tried, the team died.
James-
Great way to fill our confidence sir.
Matt-
Well, at least this time we have a chance, they don't
have many supplies. Ya know, ammo.
Alex-
Right. Well, lets go guys.
Matt-
Oh, and Alex... You're in command of this mission.
Alex-
Yes sir!!
Bravo Team runs off screen.
Cut to: the Band Allie Base. Bravo Team is running on
a sidewalk.
Alex-
This is our biggest mission!
Jeff-
I know, I'm still surprised he but you in command of
the mission!
James-
Yeah! I mean you've only been in the war for a few
days!
Suddenly a grenade explodes close to them.
Alex-
Look out!!!!
They duck behind a big bush. Then a few Band Allies
walk up.
Soldier #1-
I guess their dead.
Soldier #2-
Maybe.
Soldier #3-
I don't think we hit then at all!
He points out Bravo Team's footprints on the sidewalk
and the black spot where the grenade hit on the grass
a little bit away from the sidewalk.
Soldier #1-
What the?!?!?
Soldier #3-
They're still alive!!!!
Soldier #2-
They'll destroy us!
Soldier #1-
I think their the ones who took out all of our
supplies!
Soldier #3-
They are, didn't you notice the patch that said
"Bravo Team" on their shoulder?... Bravo Team is the
best battle squad in the E.W.A.!
Alex throws a grenade at their feet.
Soldier #1-
(Notices it)
Look ou-
it explodes. Then, Bravo Team gets up and resume
walking. Then they approach a portable.
Alex-
Ok, get a grenade, pull the key and throw it under
that portable.
Jeff-
Ok.
James-
This is gonna be cool!
They all do what Alex said to do. Then the portable
explodes into a fireball.
James-
Cool!
Alex-
It was, wasn't it.... We need to find their backup
supplies.
Jeff-
It's most likely at their battle base. That's where
we keep ours.
James-
Yeah, all of our supplies are in the locker room.
They wouldn't find it there... But Jeff's right, they
probably have some more at their side of the
battleground.
Alex-
Well, lets go see.
They run off screen.
Cut to: the Band Allies battle field side. There are
a bunch of crates that have different names on them...
such as: Grenades and Ammo. There are about 19
different kids battling. Then, Bravo Team sneaks up;
the other kids don't see them.
Alex-
Ok. On the count of three, shoot anything you see
over there... not me! Just them, and those crates.
James & Jeff-
Alright.
Alex-
1... 2... 3!!
They start to fire; the other 19 men start to drop
like flies. Then there is 12 of them. The 12 men then
begin to shot back. They have a short war. Them Alex
pulls out a grenade, arms it, and throws it over by
one of the crates that says: Grenades.
Alex-
Get out of here!!! Go! Go! Goooo!!!! '
Bravo Team runs out of the small camp. The grenade
then explodes; the last 12 men are dead.
Cut to: the north entrance of the E.W.A. base. There
is about 5 Band Allies being held off. Suddenly the 5
men fall dead. When the fall down, we can see Bravo
Team with their guns pointed forward. Then Matt comes
into view.
Matt-
(To Bravo Team)
Good work men! I just herd about the big attack at
the Band Allie base!
Alex-
Talk to General Harley, get him to sign a peace
treaty or something, we've pretty much taken them
out....
Matt-
Yawl are gonna get the best school service!
Bravo Team-
Thank you sir!!
Fade cut to: the cafeteria. The rest of the school is
assembled to witness the signing of the Peace Treaty.
Alex is with Matt.
Alex-
How did you get him to agree?
Matt-
Well, it wasn't easy... It took a gun to the head but
we got him to!
Alex-
Heh.
Everyone claps because the treaty has been signed and
the war is over.
Fade cut to: a large picture. It's Bravo Team. There
is an inscription below it. It reads: "The End of a
War, The Beginning of a New Adventure... Life."
Fade out-
Roll end credits.
