EXT. FIELDS OF MABISS - OUTER RIM - DAY

Fade In.

The scene fades into view on a field full of golden wheat ready for 
harvest. We run across it and then finally slow down when an object 
appears in the view. We zoom - into it slowly and see that the object 
is in fact a person - YUKIO.

CAPTION: FIELDS OF MABISS - OUTER RIM

He sits on the ground amongst the golden plants meditating. We circle 
him and watch, as he doesn't move a muscle. From beyond him a rush of 
leaves and dust brush past him. We close - up on his eyes and in a 
sudden motion they open wide. He senses something wrong.

He jumps up onto his feet and moves into a run. He begins to get faster 
until his legs are just a blur. Echoed images behind him of his body 
can be seen as the camera begins to struggle to catch up and YUKIO 
speeds off into the distance. 
Cut To: City

A city landscape now fills our scene. WYVERN and DRAGONSHIP cruisers 
fly around in formations and squadrons as we see the images of the 
destruction during battle.

As we move in closer we see what the problem is. The city is being 
attacked by a swarm of Daemons called the PHYLANCH. Thousands of the 
winged creatures attack the cruisers and we see that the creatures 
overrun the ships and many are destroyed.

CAPTION: SYCAPTIUS CITY - PRESENT DAY
Cut To: Dragonship Neviathon

The bridge of the DRAGONSHIP NEVIATHON stands in our view. Most of the 
crew we do not recognise, some are in fact new and very young but there 
is one we do know. It is BASHO, commander of this vessel. He stands in 
front of a large view screen that sits on the front wall. He watches as 
many of the ships in the battle are destroyed or taken over by the 
creatures.

BASHO (to an OFFICER)
STATUS?

OFFICER #1
More of them on their way. We appear
To be losing men and ships rapidly sir.

BASHO (to himself)
What would Yukio do at a time like this?

YUKIO (from behind)
He'd get out there and bloody well fight.

BASHO spins round as YUKIO walks through into the room now in full 
uniform. A smile spreads on both their faces as they embrace as old 
friends do.

BASHO
Thought you were in Mabiss on leave.

YUKIO
I was.

BASHO
Good to see you old friend.

YUKIO
It's been a while. Nice place, but what the
Hell are you doing here, you should be out 
There leading a squadron.

BASHO (shrugs)
They put me on this.

YUKIO (smile widens)
So what do I have to do to get into a cruiser
Around here?

BASHO (laughs)
Right this way.

YUKIO follows BASHO out of the room as we...
Cut To: Wyvern Bay

ENGINEERS run around the bay frantic as they struggle to get the PILOTS 
out into the skies. From out of the airlock entrance a swarm of the 
creatures break in. The shields turn into the flames of an explosion as 
they fly in to attack. They first attack the men in the bay and then 
blow up some of the cruisers that are ready for take off. YUKIO and 
BASHO run into the bay. They stop near the entrance to the lift and 
watch as men die as they battle with the daemons. ENGINEERS grab for 
some guns that sit on the surrounding walls and other objects they find 
lying around the bay but still they don't stand a chance against them.

One of the creatures drops down from above ready to attack BASHO and 
YUKIO. BASHO lifts his hand and a ball of green psi-energy hits the 
daemon ripping it apart. It lands in two halves either side of BASHO.

YUKIO
Bloody hell!

BASHO grabs YUKIO and they run down behind a broken section of WYVERN. 
A MAN already hides in there; he wears a world war one fighter pilots 
uniform.

BASHO
What's happening down here Sopwith?

SOPWITH (MAN)
The blasted things are trying to destroy life.

YUKIO
Could they be trying to cause another opening?

BASHO
We've gotta stop this.

YUKIO (to SOPWITH)
Where are all the cruisers?

SOPWITH
I know where there's one not damaged.
Follow me.

BASHO (hits another Daemon)
GOOD LUCK!

YUKIO and SOPWITH make a run for it. They dive behind the cruiser as 
another DAEMON fires at them. YUKIO fires back and hit it with his 
psychic energy.

SOPWITH covers him and fires at the DAEMONS with his pistol. YUKIO 
climbs in and gets the controls ready for take off. He looks at BASHO 
and nods then closes the hatch above him.

YUKIO begins take off and flies out of the opening as some of the 
creatures follow close behind shooting some kind of green acid at his 
ship. He dodges it and speeds up as he is met by more of the creatures.

From behind him another explosion rips through BASHO's ship. YUKIO 
turns and watches as flames burn through the ships exterior. He turns 
back just in time to miss a collision with another WYVERN. He darts up 
and spins but as he does, the daemons hit the other WYVERN and it is 
destroyed.

YUKIO
That was too close.

Two more creatures appear in front of him. He spins again to dodge more 
of the acid and then focuses his energy through the two front cannons 
and fires. He misses narrowly and they swoop round for another attack 
joining with the remaining group still following behind.

He shoots again and misses his target but by some blind luck hits 
another. WYVERNS rush around as they battle against the daemons. 
Explosions and balls of flame surround YUKIO as more ships are 
destroyed or are being destroyed just as BASHO's was.

YUKIO
These things are harder to kill than
Basho's Utyuk.

BASHO (v.o)
Hey, I heard that.

YUKIO looks around for BASHO startled by the sudden radio outburst. He 
spots another WYVERN cruiser as it flies up into view from the bottom 
right.

YUKIO
I thought you were dead.

BASHO (v.o)
Lucky escape.

BASHO shoots and hits two of the creatures. He misses the third and 
swerves to the left to miss it as it sets a collision course with his 
ship.

He splits up from YUKIO and joins a cluster of WYVERNS chasing some of 
the creatures. They turn round and shoot at them. One WYVERN is shot 
and the exterior rots away as the acid eats through the metal. It dives 
and then finally explodes falling rapidly towards the city. BASHO and 
the others shoot back but only hit one of them.

Another cluster of the daemons fly in to chase BASHO and his team from 
above. He is suddenly surrounded as the cluster he was chasing begins 
to attack also. The ships stop and the creatures shoot their acid. It 
hits and eats through BASHO's left wing. Alarms and sirens burst into 
life as BASHO's cruiser loses its power. He presses buttons on the 
panel in front of him but nothing stops the ship from falling.

The creatures come closer for their final attack on BASHO. Suddenly 
from above YUKIO flies in and shoots the creatures killing those 
behind. He turns and comes in for a second sweep attack. The creatures 
turn to YUKIO and charge at him leaving the other ships. They fire at 
him and YUKIO spins to dodge the acid as he fires his energy and 
destroys the daemons.

YUKIO
How ya' doin'?

BASHO (v.o)
Urm... 
...Total system failure so...
...Couldn't be better.

YUKIO
Want any help?

BASHO (as his system crashes) (v.o)
Help would be good right now.

YUKIO presses a button on his panel and his energy is focused on a new 
device. A beam is fired at BASHO's ship and it is pulled toward 
YUKIO's. The beam solidifies and now it seems both ships have become 
one.

BASHO
Very Impressive.

His power returns and he regains full control of the cruiser. They fly 
off to rejoin the squadron. More of the creatures seem to appear and 
are instantly attracted to the new ship. They attack it as soon as they 
see it. The ship turns left and misses the acid, then right to dodge 
some more. They shoot all four of the cannons and kill all of the 
approaching creatures. They turn and sweep in on another cluster, fire 
on them and destroy over half of them.

In the distance we see that the remaining creatures turn and flee from 
the city as even more are destroyed by the remaining cruisers. As the 
city is slowly saved from the daemons we...
Cut To: Titles

INT. MONASTERY - DAY

BASHO and YUKIO walk side by side down a long dark corridor smiling. 
They walk through a pair of doors that open by themselves into a large 
room. In the centre of the room stand KENSKEI, TSUMETA and MIKO. MIKO 
sees YUKIO and immediately runs into his arms. He picks her up and 
swings her round as they hug. They stare into each other's eyes as he 
puts her hands into his and smiles.

CAPTION: VOX MONASTERY

KENSKEI
I gather you had a pleasant trip.

BASHO (laughs)
Couldn't be better.

TSUMETA (walks up to YUKIO)
I don't suppose you have one of those for me?

YUKIO and his father embrace. The others look at them questioningly 
then shrug it off. KENSKEI smiles and nods his approval to YUKIO.

YUKIO
So what have I missed?

KENSKEI
A few surveillance missions, a battle, oh and
Miko getting her wings.

YUKIO looks at her shocked. He walks around her and feels her back. He 
smiles and wraps his arms tighter round her to give her another cuddle.

YUKIO
Why didn't you tell me?

MIKO
I wanted to surprise you.

BASHO
Where's Satori?

TSUMETA
He's on a mission.

YUKIO (shocked)
You gave Satori a mission?
Things really have changed around here.

TSUMETA
We have another little surprise for you.
Cut To: MONASTERY - LANDING BAY - DAY

MIKO and YUKIO both watch as a WYVERN flies in and lands. YUKIO watches 
as the door opens and a younger MAN walks down and over to them.

MIKO
This is the surprise?

YUKIO (stares at the MAN)
This is the surprise. It's my brother.

MAN
Hello Yukio.

YUKIO 
Tyler.

TYLER (MAN)
No embrace or welcome?

YUKIO
Why should I, I'm still mad at you for breaking
My omega console.

TYLER
That was seven years ago.

YUKIO
How's mother?

TYLER
Fine as always, she misses you though, can't
See why.

YUKIO
Do you have your dispatches?

TYLER (hands him a slip of paper)
Here you go.

YUKIO unfolds the slip and reads down then looks at them in horror.

MIKO
What is it?

YUKIO (hands over the slip)
Read it.

MIKO (reads)
Commanding officer: Yukio Nasamuri.

TYLER (stands to attention suddenly)
Sir.

YUKIO
That is gonna be changed.
Fade Out.

EXT. FOREST - NIGHT

Fire burns high. We zoom out from the flames and see people dancing 
round the large fire. Golden sparks fly up into the air. Swirls and 
spirals of energy then closely follow them.

CAPTION: GANGRET FOREST

Drums can be heard as they dance around the fire as a tribe would. 
Another person walks slowly towards the fire wearing a brown monks 
robe. 

Two more of the MEN lift the robe and we discover that it is a girl. 
She now wears a makeshift cotton bikini. The energy circles her and 
then spirals off. One of the swirls moves up to the camera and hits it 
creating a golden flash as we then...
Fade Into: HOUSE - EXTERIOR

We slowly move along a corridor. A door slowly edges open and we see a 
family - the father, mother and two girls, both twins.

CAPTION: NASBETH - OUTER RIM - 2032

'Happy Birthday' can be heard sung by the parents of the family.

PARENTS
Happy birthday to Miko and Oni...
...Happy birthday to you.

The two girls blow out the candles on the cake and then their mother 
cuts them both a piece. MIKO sits eating hers smiling as ONI takes a 
piece, puts it on her fork and flicks it at her sister.

MIKO
Mum, she's flicking it at me.

MOTHER
Don't do that Oni.

ONI ignores her MOTHER and does it again. It hits her in the side of 
the face.

MIKO
Mum tell her.

MOTHER
Go to your room.

ONI gets up, pushes the plate off the table so it smashes on the floor 
and storms up to her room where she then slams the door. Her FATHER 
watches her wonderingly.

FATHER
I'll go see what's wrong with her.

He goes upstairs and knocks on her door. He hears nothing from the 
other side but edges the door open anyway. He sees ONI sitting on the 
edge of the bed sulking and leans against the door.

FATHER
And what was that all about?

ONI
Go away.

MIKO and her MOTHER move towards the stairs and listen to them from 
downstairs. Suddenly a loud and sharp scream fills ONI'S room. It is 
followed closely by a big red flash of light and her FATHER flies out 
of the door and is thrust against the wall. He then drops to his knees 
and falls sideways down the stairs.

He lands at the bottom and her MOTHER screams as we move closer to see 
him. His chest is open and his insides are scattered around him. ONI 
stares from upstairs with a big grin on her face and MIKO stares up at 
her sister in shock.
Fade Into: DRACONIS - MIKO'S QUARTERS - NIGHT

MIKO screams and jumps out of bed. Sweat drips down her face as she 
pants heavily. A tear runs down her left cheek.

MIKO (whispers)
Oni.
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - MESS HALL - DAY

YUKIO walks in and picks up a tray. He moves over to the counter and 
picks up a bowl of some kind of oat and fruit mix.

CAPTION: DRAGONSHIP DRACONIS

YUKIO
You'd think the food would get better.

He turns and sees MIKO. She plays with her food in the bowl. He walks 
over to her places his tray next to hers and cuddles her up.

YUKIO
You had another bad dream didn't you?

MIKO
Uh-huh.

YUKIO
Come on, what was it about?

MIKO
My father.

YUKIO
What happened?

MIKO
When my sister and I were very young, on our
Tenth birthday Oni and my father had a fight.
She killed him.

A tear runs down her cheek and she turns into his arms. He hugs her 
tight as she sobs.

MIKO
The officials took her away and that was
The last time I saw her, except in my dreams.
Before leaving she said she'd come back for
Me. I began having the nightmares and then they
Stopped until now. I think this may be a
Warning.

BASHO walks up and sits opposite. He looks at MIKO and drops his head 
slightly instantly realising what has happened.

BASHO
Do you want me to make you something to
Get rid of the nightmares?

MIKO
No it's ok. I can handle it.

YUKIO
Any missions yet?

BASHO
Still nothing. It's not usually this
Quiet.

YUKIO
Still no sign of Satori?

BASHO
No not yet.
Cut To: FOREST - DAY

We see a thatch hut standing alone in the view. We zoom in and go 
inside to see SATORI lying on the bed. He is tied to it as if he is a 
prisoner. 

He wakes suddenly and startled he tries to move and struggles with the 
ropes holding him. The cloth door is pulled back and ONI walks in 
wearing nothing but a red kimono. 

SATORI'S attention suddenly moves to her. He can't believe his eyes. 
She stands over him looking incredibly seductive and sexy.

SATORI
Miko?

ONI
Close but wrong.

SATORI
Who are you?

ONI
My name is Oni Takagi.

SATORI
Your Miko's sister?

ONI
Correct. 

SATORI
What do you want with me?

ONI
Don't worry; you won't be alive for long.

She moves to the table next to him and picks up a knife. She then sits 
down next to him and he struggles more. She puts two fingers to his 
lips and as if by magic it calms him instantly.

She then takes the knife and moves it over his scar. It begins to glow 
white then suddenly the knife flips out of her hand and lands on the 
ground behind her. SATORI pants scared.

ONI
You are.

SATORI
What do you want with me?

ONI
You'll know in good time.

She gets up and walks out. SATORI closes his eyes and begins to glow 
with yellow energy. It moves along the ropes holding him and begins to 
get brighter. 

The energy bursts and then flashes away but the ropes stay the same. 
ONI walks back in and laughs.

ONI
No use trying to escape.
Cut To: DRACONIS - HOLOSUITE - DAY

BASHO stands in front of a crowd of TEMPLARS. YUKIO, MIKO, TSUMETA and 
KENSKEI are among the crowd. WANG walks in and stands by the door 
awaiting the presentation.

BASHO
As you can see the new development is
Finally complete.

YUKIO
What is it?

BASHO
A new training facility, we can use it to
Train new recruits, ourselves, and also try out
Various different scenarios for any situation
We may come across.

WANG
In other words a wecweation activity.

BASHO
Have faith sir; this may prove to be quite useful.

BASHO turns and winks at MIKO who smiles back. YUKIO walks over to the 
controls and inspects them carefully.

YUKIO
So how does it work and what does it do?

BASHO
It produces a holographic scenario that we
Can work from in order to train or as Wang so
Finely put wecweation.

The others laugh and WANG storms out angrily. BASHO then moves over to 
the controls and types in a code.

BASHO
Pick something.

YUKIO
What like?

BASHO
Anything, the great wars if you want.

YUKIO
Ok, the...
...Battle of Macris.

BASHO types in another code and the doors open. He urges the crowd 
forward and they walk inside.

An explosion fills our view and the crowd immediately dive in all 
directions out of the way of the flames. BASHO and YUKIO walk in behind 
them. 

YUKIO can't believe his eyes. He looks around and sees the trenches, 
the WYVERN cruisers flying; some shot down by enemy aircraft, the 
DRAGONSHIPS blowing enemy aircraft out of the sky. BASHO stands next to 
him smiling. He presses another button on a control pad on the other 
side of the door and the images disappear to leave a blank, black room.

TSUMETA
Very impressive, I'll have to try this
Out for myself.

The rest walk out after TSUMETA. MIKO, YUKIO and BASHO stay behind.

BASHO
Ready for a little game?

MIKO
What kind?

BASHO types in another code and a sports court appears around them. 
Robots walk onto the court dressed in their teams' kit of blue and 
purple. BASHO takes off his cloak so now all he's in is his trousers 
and black shirt. YUKIO and MIKO do the same.

YUKIO
Oh Nakanoball.

The robots scatter into their formation and a hatch opens above them in 
the centre of the court. YUKIO stands ready on the left; BASHO stands 
ready in the centre and MIKO on the right. A small white ball drops 
down from the hatch and the robots charge at the three TEMPLARS.

BASHO jumps up and summersaults over one of the robots. He catches the 
ball and a green glow of energy spreads underneath his feet. He no 
longer touches the floor but instead floats above it as he moves. He 
places the ball in front of him on the floor and holds his arm out. 
From the sideline what looks like a hockey stick flies into his hand. 
He uses it to control the ball. 

A robot comes forward to tackle him. BASHO passes left to YUKIO who 
catches the ball in his stick, spins to dodge another robot and flies 
along the court as his purple field of power spreads underneath his 
feet.

Another robot flies along the court into YUKIO from the side and knocks 
him into the wall on the sidelines. It spins round with the ball and 
flies along. It then passes to another in the centre. BASHO flies back 
towards it to try and tackle but the robot passes to another who shoots 
at MIKO in goal. MIKO holds her hands out and stops the ball in motion. 

She then puts it back on the ground and passes back to YUKIO who passes 
to BASHO. Three robots charge at him from three separate directions. He 
stops and looks for an open space in front of him but there is none. He 
spreads his legs and passes back to MIKO who takes it round him and 
past the robots. She spins to dodge another and passes to the right to 
YUKIO.

YUKIO holds his stick up to the ball, which has flown a little too 
high. It stops in mid-air and drops to the ground softly. He spins 
round to bring it forward and shoots. The robot dives to save but 
misses and the ball hits the net.

A board flashes up 1 - 0. Both teams move back into their positions and 
the hatch opens again. It drops the ball down and a robot catches it in 
its stick, swings it round and throws it towards the goal. MIKO stops 
it from going in, drops it onto the ground and passes to BASHO.

Another robot moves into its path before BASHO can get it and passes 
down to one of his teammates who catches it and shoots. MIKO is too 
late this time and the robots score.

They move back into position and the hatch above drops another ball. 
YUKIO catches it and passes over to MIKO who has now moved out of goal. 
She flies forward and then jumps over a robot. The robot snatches the 
ball and quickly shoots.

The goal is empty. The ball flies through the air getting faster as it 
moves. YUKIO spins and looks, then flies towards it but he's too far 
away. MIKO lands and spins round but she's further than YUKIO.

Suddenly out of nowhere BASHO flies in from the side and throws his 
stick forward. It blocks the balls path and the ball lands on the 
ground just before the goal line. BASHO flies towards it, picks his 
stick up and moves the ball forward where another two robots meet him. 
He sees a gap between them and hits the ball just between them directly 
in front. MIKO catches it and takes it forward more. She passes over to 
YUKIO on her right and he shoots but the robot saves it quickly. 

The ball flies through the air and hits the ground. MIKO dives left to 
get it and swing her stick to shoot. The ball moves along the ground 
and in slow motion the robot dives to save but the ball moves 
underneath and into the net.

A buzzer sounds and the game ends. The board above them reads 2 - 1, 
the TEMPLARS win. From behind they hear clapping coming from the door. 
They turn and see KENSKEI. He was watching the game.

KENSKEI
Very good.

MIKO
Thought everyone left.

KENSKEI
I came back to watch. Have you ever thought
Of playing league?

YUKIO
What for the ship?

BASHO
Thought has crossed my mind but we've had
So many attacks.

KENSKEI
They're hasn't been one for days, go sign
Up.

They look at each other and shrug.

YUKIO
The things you get us into.
Fade Out.

EXT. GANGRET FOREST - NIGHT

Drums can be heard in the background. SATORI is brought out of the hut 
by two of the MONKS. He's taken to ONI who stands on a platform between 
two large poles. SATORIS marched up the platform and stands facing her.

ONI
I suppose now you know what I'm going to do

SATORI
You're going to give me my power.

ONI
Yes. I'm going to give you your destiny.
Soon you will be Ratsuko again.

He smiles at her and she smiles back then kisses her finger and places 
it on his nose. The MONKS tie him to the two poles as she moves away. 
They then move away and the clouds gather overhead.

The MONKS begin to chant again and thunder strikes. A black mist swirls 
around him and engulfs him. Lightning strikes the mist and the drums 
bang once more and everything goes quiet. They watch as the mist fades 
away leaving SATORI there unconscious.

ONI walks slowly up to him as he stirs and cuts the ropes holding him 
to the poles. He drops to his knees then moans as if possessed. His 
head lifts slowly and he looks deep into her eyes and smiles. A bolt of 
gold lightning flashes in his eyes as we...
Fade Into: DRACONIS - CORRIDOR - NIGHT

BASHO stands by the wall. A piece of paper is pinned to it. He writes 
his name and the names of YUKIO and MIKO onto the list. 

Suddenly he sees something in his mind, another vision. We also see it. 
A WYVERN lands in the bay unsteadily and the doors open down. SATORI 
hobbles out and falls down the steps onto the bay.

BASHO drops the pen and runs down the corridor and then through a door. 
He turns left and pushes a button by the door. The doors open and he 
jumps into the elevator. He pushes another button and the doors close 
and the lift begins to move.

The doors open again and BASHO runs down another corridor and then 
through another door that leads to the WYVERN bay.

Just as in his vision he sees the WYVERN land. The doors open and he 
rushes towards them. SATORI falls out and BASHO quickly catches him.
Cut To: DRACONIS - MEDI-BAY

A DOCTOR moves away from SATORI who lies unconscious on the bed. A cold 
compress has been placed on his forehead. The DOCTOR moves the razor 
device over his scar and then away again. He looks at a panel on the 
console.

BASHO
How is he?

DOCTOR
He's goin' to be fine, just needs rest.

BASHO
What do you think could of caused this?

DOCTOR
Might have been something to do with what he
Was investigating perhaps, I put it down to
Fatigue though.

BASHO walks out of the room and stands in the corridor for a while. 
YUKIO runs down and slows next to him.

YUKIO
What happened?

BASHO
He's fine; he's just worked himself
Too hard.

YUKIO
Bloody fool.
Cut To: DRACONIS - BRIDGE

MIA sits at her console. She types and watches a screen where the words 
come up on a blue background. Suddenly the power goes down and the 
screen flickers off.

MIA
Damn.

She tries to switch it back on but nothing happens. She presses a 
switch on her console but again nothing happens.

MIA
Draconis?

No answer. A shadow appears behind her. It walks up closer and stops 
just behind her, she doesn't notice.

MIA (on com)
Tsumeta...
Kenskei...
Can anyone hear me?

Again no answer, suddenly hands wrap around her face muffling her 
scream and then they snap her neck. She falls down on the floor beside 
her chair and dies as we...
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - BRIDGE - DAY

MIA lies dead on the floor by her chair. The power has returned now and 
TSUMETA, KENSKEI and WANG crowd round to investigate. WANG uses a 
stream of his psychic energy on her neck but nothing can be found, just 
the red marks from when it snapped.

WANG
No fingerpwints.

KENSKEI
Nobody leaves the ship until the killer is 
Found.
Cut To: DRACONIS - MESS HALL

TYLER sits at a table. He plays with a bowl of UTYUK. YUKIO and MIKO 
walk in and sit opposite him.

TYLER (looks up at YUKIO)
Did you get it sorted?

YUKIO
No they still want me as your commanding
Officer. It appears I'll be a good
Influence on you.

MIKO
I see you've found the Utyuk.

TYLER
Oh that's what it's called.

BASHO rushes up to them and sits next to TYLER.

BASHO
Have you heard what happened during the power
Failure?

TYLER
Who's this?

YUKIO
This is Basho, a friend.
(to BASHO)
No what happened?

BASHO
Mia was murdered. 

MIKO
By who?

BASHO

TSUMETA sits at his desk. KENSKEI sits next to him on the desk itself. 
YUKIO, MIKO and BASHO stand to attention in front of them.

TSUMETA
I gather you're here because of last night.

BASHO
We heard about Mia's death.

TSUMETA
I know it wasn't you three I want you to check
It out, find clues.

KENSKEI
We want to know who killed her quickly before
This happens again. When you find the killer
Dispose of it quickly.

They nod and turn to walk out. They walk through the doors where TYLER 
waits for them. 

YUKIO
I thought I told you to go and train.

TYLER
I want to help.

BASHO
Who is this?

YUKIO
My brother Tyler.

BASHO
New cadet?

MIKO
Yea, nothing but trouble too.

TYLER
Let me help.

YUKIO
You're not trained to handle this kind of thing.
Go and train with the others in the holosuite.

Cut To: DRACONIS - MEDI-BAY

SATORI still lies unconscious. A beep signifies that he is still alive 
and his heart still beats. We close - in to his face as an evil smile 
moves across his expression.

ONI (v.o) (inside SATORI'S head)
Good work my lord.

SATORI (v.o)
All for you my Queen.
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - BRIDGE - DAY

BASHO and YUKIO check around the murder site. MIA'S body has now been 
removed but nothing else has been touched. An outline has been drawn 
out to mark where her body was.

MIKO checks the console files and what she had been looking at before 
her death. The blue screen flashes up and MIKO reads through it.

YUKIO
Anything useful?

MIKO
Only a report, nothing worth noting.

She switches the screen off and joins the others by the murder site. 
BASHO looks underneath the chair. He moves his fingers over a charred 
line.

BASHO
Something's been burnt into the floor here.

YUKIO
What is it?

BASHO uncovers more of it. He uncovers more lines joined to it, burnt 
into the floor.

BASHO
It's an eye.

MIKO
We'd better report this to Kenskei.
Cut To: DRACONIS - KENSKEI'S QUARTERS

BASHO stands to attention in front of KENSKEI who walks around. 

KENSKEI
An eye you say?

BASHO
Yes sir. It was burnt into the wood.

KENSKEI
Did it have three tear shapes just underneath 
it?

BASHO
Yes sir, three very close to each other.

KENSKEI
It's the mark left by one very powerful
Sorcerer. His name was Ratsuko
He was banished a very long time ago.
When we banished his spirit we took away
His power and sent it to the heavens for their
Keeping. 
(walks around and thinks)
It can't be him, we burnt his body during the
Execution.

BASHO
Could it be someone taking on the form of his
Spirit?

KENSKEI
No, we banished it from all existence.

KENSKEI sits down by his desk and continues to think. His eyes suddenly 
widen as he remembers.

KENSKEI
He had a son.

BASHO
A son?

KENSKEI
Yes, when we caught Ratsuko he hid his son
Away so we couldn't banish him as well.

BASHO
Could it be that he's still alive?

KENSKEI
We need to find the killer quick.

BASHO
What happens if we don't?

KENSKEI
All that Ratsuko wanted was world domination.
I would expect that his son now wants the same
As well as revenge for his father. If we don't
Find him soon more will die.
Cut To: DRACONIS - TSUMETA'S QUARTERS

KENSKEI walks in and finds TSUMETA writing at his desk. TSUMETA looks 
up at him questioningly.

KENSKEI
We have a problem.

TSUMETA
I gather it has something to do with the 
Murder.

KENSKEI
Basho found the sign of Ratsuko burnt into the
Floor. His son is among us.

TSUMETA
More will die we have to catch him.

KENSKEI
It seems he is after revenge for the death
Of his father, we have to protect the ones who
Killed the sorcerer.

TSUMETA
Mia was among us when we performed the rites.
You, Wang or me could be next.

KENSKEI
What about Kako?

TSUMETA (stares into KENSKEI'S eyes)
We have to go back.
Fade Out.

EXT. HALOKO TOWN - CONO PROVINCE

DRACONIS flies quickly around green hills tall, surrounding the small 
town of Haloko. 

CAPTION: HALOKO TOWN - CONO PROVINCE

The large DRAGONSHIP stands in the air over part of the town. People 
point and stare up at it as from behind a WYVERN cruiser flies out and 
circles the town for a few moments. 

It comes down to land just by a small house. A WOMAN opens the door and 
walks down. The WYVERN doors open up and TSUMETA walks out. KENSKEI, 
MIKO, YUKIO and BASHO closely follow him.

TSUMETA stands staring at the WOMAN who stops and stares back. The 
others stop a little behind and watch as the WOMAN opens the gate to 
her garden and runs into TSUMETA'S arms. They hug each other tightly.

WOMAN
I missed you.

TSUMETA
I missed you too Kako.

KAKO (woman)
You should've called.

TSUMETA (looks into her eyes)
You're in grave danger.

KAKO (smiles)
I know.

She looks over and sees YUKIO smiling. MIKO stands beside him holding 
his hand. KAKO rushes up to him and they hug.

YUKIO
Hello Mother.

KAKO
I see you made Templar.

YUKIO
How did you know you were in danger?

KAKO
A gift. I can sense it.
(looks over at MIKO)
And who's this?

YUKIO
Mum, I'd like you to meet Miko Takagi.

KAKO (shakes MIKO'S hand)
Pleasure.

From within the shadows of the WYVERN we see a person. It watches the 
group on land carefully as the walk into the house. The door to the

INT. KAKO'S HOUSE - DAY

TSUMETA, YUKIO, BASHO and KENSKEI sit around a large table in KAKO'S 
dining room. Coffee mugs are placed on the table near each of the 
TEMPLARS. KAKO stands in the kitchen over a large bowl that sits 
warming on a stove. She stirs the contents with a big wooden spoon.

TSUMETA gets up out of his chair, walks over to her and wraps his arms 
around her waist as she cooks.

KAKO
Do you know how long it's been since you last
Did this?

TSUMETA
Too long.

KAKO
What exactly is after us this time?

TSUMETA (playfully)
Kako are you losing your touch?

KAKO
Tell me.

TSUMETA
Do you remember when you were an officer?

KAKO

KAKO (moves near the window and whispers.)

KAKO (turns to him shocked)

TSUMETA
Murdered. The killer left a mark burnt into the 
Floor...

KAKO
...The eye of Ratsuko.

TSUMETA
We have to get you to safety.

KAKO
You think I might be next?

TSUMETA
We don't know who's next, but I'm not taking any
Chances.

KAKO thinks for a while then turns back to TSUMETA as he begins to walk 
away.

KAKO
He had a son.

KENSKEI
We couldn't be sure of that.

KAKO
No, he did. I saw him, tall, short black hair,
Golden eyes.

TSUMETA (looks at KENSKEI)
Satori.

BASHO
Can't be he's in the infirmary.

TSUMETA
Yukio, Miko, you two go back to the ship and
Check on Satori. Just to be safe.

YUKIO
You think it could be?

TSUMETA
It's a good chance.
Fade Into: KAKO'S HOUSE - EXTERIOR

YUKIO and MIKO board the WYVERN. KAKO kisses her son before he boards. 
They prepare the ship and take off leaving the others behind on the 
ground.

We follow the WYVERN. The sun begins to set in the distance. It turns 
and flies into the WYVERN bay inside DRACONIS. It lands on the bay as

Fade Into: KAKO'S HOUSE - INTERIOR - NIGHT

All the lights inside the rooms are off. The moonlight is the only 
light we see through the windows. A shadowy figure walks the floor. We 
follow it as if slowly goes through one room after another. 
Cut To: KAKO'S ROOM

KAKO sleeps softly in her bed. Outside we see another shadowy figure 
walking along the corridor as if patrolling. It goes downstairs where 
it meets the other figure.

TSUMETA
Anything?

BASHO
Still quiet sir.

TSUMETA
Good. Get some rest.

BASHO nods and then passes TSUMETA and goes upstairs.
Cut To: DRACONIS - CORRIDOR - NIGHT

YUKIO and MIKO walk along a corridor and turn left. They go through a 
pair of double doors, which lead to the front room of the medi-bay. 

They turn left into another room and switch the light on. Light 
flickers and then fills the room.

DOCTOR
Excuse me?

YUKIO and MIKO both turn to see the DOCTOR walking up to them.

DOCTOR
What are you doing here?

YUKIO
We're here to check on Satori, Tsumeta's
Orders.

DOCTOR
Follow me.

They follow him down the room where they turn left. The doctor opens a 
wooden door and flicks the light switch on the side of the wall. They 
peer in to find to their horror the bed empty.

YUKIO and MIKO both run back down the room and out of the infirmary. 
YUKIO presses his COM as we...
Cut To: KAKO'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM

TSUMETA walks in to find KENSKEI patrolling the area. KENSKEI turns and 
sees TSUMETA, he nods. A faint beep sounds from his COM.

KENSKEI
Yes?

YUKIO
Satori he's not...

Screams from upstairs fill the house. TSUMETA and KENSKEI both look up 
the stairs, then at each other. They run up them and along to KAKO'S 
room. BASHO is already standing in the doorway. He flicks the light and 
KAKO lies in the bed. TSUMETA edges nearer to see her lying still, eyes 
open. 

He shakes his head and tears drip from his eyes. He picks her up into 
his arms and she lies limp, dead. He cuddles her as he cries. 

KENSKEI walks in slowly and looks on the wall above the bed. The eye of 
RATSUKO has been burnt into it. His COM beeps again.

KENSKEI (saddened)
Yes?

YUKIO
Satori is missing.

KENSKEI
We know.

YUKIO
How?

KENSKEI
I think you'd better come.
Fade Out.

EXT. KAKO'S HOUSE - GARDEN - DAY

The scene fades in slowly. TEMPLARS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY stand around a 
hole in the ground. WANG stands at the far end of this in a white robe.

A small band at the edge of the scene plays slow, soft music. We pan 
round to the house. TSUMETA and YUKIO lead the precession. They carry 
the front end of the coffin slowly, TYLER and KENSKEI at the rear. MIKO 
stands among the crowd at the grave watching YUKIO. BASHO stands 
opposite also watching him as tears roll down his cheeks.

They carry the coffin up to the grave and place it carefully on a 
contraption above the grave that then slowly takes it down into the 
ground.

The band stops playing and everyone is silent as they watch it go down 
into the grave. MIKO comforts YUKIO the best she can as YUKIO stares 
angrily ahead. BASHO watches YUKIO from the other side as we slowly...
Fade Out.

YUKIO (v.o) (whispers)
I will get my revenge.

INT. DRACONIS - YUKIO'S QUARTERS - DAY

YUKIO slams a trunk open angrily. TSUMETA stands at the door and 
watches as he throws various weapons out of the trunk onto the bed. He 
throws a broadsword, a couple of small daggers and another couple of 
larger knifes.

TSUMETA
Let me guess, you're gonna' go after Satori
And kill him in the only fashion you know
Correct?

YUKIO
I will have my revenge.

TSUMETA
You think that's the best way to go about
It? Haven't you learnt nothing boy?

YUKIO
What do you care? You couldn't even be 
Bothered to show for ten years.

TSUMETA (grabs YUKIO and pins him to the wall)
It doesn't mean I didn't love all of you.
I was protecting you in the best way I knew how.

YUKIO (angrily stares at him)
Like you protected her.

TSUMETA backs away and out of the room.

TSUMETA
How dare you? I loved your mother.

TSUMETA storms off leaving YUKIO as he drops to the ground and cries.
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - BASHO'S QUARTERS - NIGHT

BASHO sits at his desk. He writes on what looks like thick parchment. 
The lamp next to him, giving off the only light in the room flickers 
and goes out.

BASHO (looks at it)
Hmm, that's weird. I only changed it
Yesterday.

He gets up and walks over to the light switch. He flicks it and the 
light comes on with a flash, filling the room. He walks back over to 
his desk and sits back down. Suddenly the light goes out again.

BASHO
Draconis?

No answer. His green psychic energy flashes and fills his body giving 
light. The door opens and YUKIO walks in glowing with his purple 
energy.

BASHO
What's going on?

YUKIO
I don't know, we'd better go find out.

BASHO follows YUKIO down the corridor towards the bridge. All of the 
power has gone down on the ship. On the floor in random places they see 
dead TEMPLARS and OFFICERS. They have no marks on them.

MIKO runs out and joins them. She grabs hold of YUKIO'S hand and he 
guides her through the dead, following BASHO.

MIKO
What could have caused this?

YUKIO
I haven't got a clue.

BASHO
An Entity Daemon?

YUKIO
They're extinct.

BASHO
Oh yea, I knew that.

They walk onto the bridge to find the crew held hostage by MONKS in 
brown hooded robes. We can't see their faces. The power flashes back on 
and we can see TSUMETA and KENSKEI are among the crew held hostage.

YUKIO
Oh that's why.

TSUMETA (to MONKS)
You can't escape.

MONK (female voice)
Oh I think we can quite easily.

She takes down her hood. We see ONI standing, smiling at MIKO. MIKO 
stares back at her in shock at seeing her sister again.

ONI (smiles)
Surprised to see me?

KENSKEI (whispers)
Oni.

MIKO
Oni, what do you want?

YUKIO turns and stares at MIKO then back at ONI.

ONI
I told you I'd come back for you.

YUKIO pulls MIKO behind him and uses himself as her protection. 

YUKIO
Don't worry they won't escape alive.

ONI
On the contrary Yukio, I'm not really here.
I'm just an illusion.

She bows mockingly and BASHO throws a ball of green energy. It flies 
through her and hits a console behind, killing an OFFICER in the 
explosion.

ONI
I did warn you Basho.

She holds up her hands and a bolt of red lightning flashes. She drops 
her hands back down to her sides and BASHO is thrust back into the 
wall, electricity running through his body as he drops slowly to the 
floor. The energy fades from his body and he is left on the floor 
panting for breath.

TSUMETA
What do you want her for?

ONI
The end of the world. Well, the end of the
World as you know it.

MIKO
After all these years your mind is still on one
Thing. You want to rule and you want me to give
You your powers back.

ONI
Very good Miko aren't we perceptive today?
Now come, I haven't got all day.

MIKO
And if I don't?

ONI
Then I will kill your friends. Don't try me,
You know I will.

MIKO looks at each one of them in turn. KENSKEI shakes his head but 
MIKO then looks down and begins to move towards her sister.

YUKIO (stops MIKO)
No, we'll stand and fight.

MIKO (touches his arm and looks into his eyes)
It's ok I'll be fine.

She kisses him and walks down to her sister. In a bright red flash they 
all disappear leaving dead OFFICERS, TSUMETA, KENSKEI, YUKIO and BASHO 
who gets up slowly, still in pain. YUKIO rushes down to where MIKO last 
stood and feels around searching for something.

YUKIO (angrily)
Get a search running.

KENSKEI
It won't do any...

YUKIO
...JUST DO IT!

He glows with his energy and then storms out. The others stand and 
watch as we...
Cut To: DRACONIS - YUKIO'S QUARTERS - NIGHT

YUKIO sits at his desk. A console stands on the desktop and he flicks 
through files. In the background KENSKEI walks in. He sits on the bed 
and stares at YUKIO.

YUKIO (without turning)
Well?

KENSKEI 
We have to talk.

YUKIO (turns and looks at him)
Is the search running?

KENSKEI
Yes.

YUKIO
Why do they take everything I love away from me?

KENSKEI
Its not you. Miko was forced to do things when she
Was very young. They were to do with her own 
Protection.

YUKIO
Go on.

KENSKEI
They were born in a sanctuary not far from here.
When Oni was born a Monk took her away. She was
Given a power that would make her evil. Her parents
Didn't know of this but I did. I am their
Godfather. 

YUKIO
Oni used the power to kill her father?

KENSKEI
Yes. Wang and I took her and kept her locked
Away so she couldn't do anymore harm. Miko and
Her mother was kept under our protection.
Oni escaped her cell and killed the Templars
Guarding her. Something needed to be done and the
Only one that could help us was Miko. We made her
Take Oni's powers away, that was when the visions
Started and Miko lost her mind.

YUKIO
She told me about the nightmares. They came back
A few days ago.

KENSKEI
The dreams are a sign telling her that soon her 
Sister will return.

YUKIO
What happened after the ritual?

KENSKEI
We were under attack. The Monks came back for
Their child of evil. We were overrun and they
Took her away. We ran searches but she couldn't
Be found. We thought it was over until today.

YUKIO
What happens if we don't get Miko back?

KENSKEI
Oni will torture her until she gets her power
Back. Once she does she will kill her and become
Ruler of this world.

YUKIO (thinks)
Something tells me she's not alone.

KENSKEI
What do you mean?

YUKIO
I don't think its only Oni we're fighting here.

KENSKEI
Satori?

YUKIO nods. KENSKEI gets up and walks towards the door.

KENSKEI
I'll keep trying with the search. You try and
Get some rest.

He walks out and YUKIO goes back to the screen. He stops and thinks for 
a while. He closes his eyes and his energy flashes once, anger filling 
his body.

YUKIO
I need to get out of here.

He folds down the screen of the console, gets up and walks out.
Cut To: DRACONIS - HOLOSUITE - NIGHT

YUKIO walks along a forest path, leaves crunch under his feet with each 
step. He has no weapons on him. All he has is his white training shirt 
and trousers and boots.

From behind a DAEMON fires a bolt of red energy. He senses this and 
dives out of the way, the bolt hits a tree, which explodes in a ball of 
flame.

He rolls and gets back up onto his feet, spins round ready to fire his 
energy back but the DAEMON has disappeared.

Suddenly a ball of energy hits him and sends him flying back into a 
pile of dead leaves. The DAEMON gets up off its knees and out of cover. 
It looks twice the size of YUKIO as it walks up to him in the pile of 
leaves.

It picks YUKIO up and throws him into a tree. YUKIO falls back to the 
ground and winces in pain as he holds his back. The DAEMON charges him 
but YUKIO jumps up and over. The DAEMON hits the tree and YUKIO lands 
behind, spins round and swings to punch the DAEMON but is hit by its 
arm, as it swings round. He topples over back to the ground.

YUKIO feels something under his arm. He looks at it and picks it up to 
find it's a stick broken from one of the trees. He gets up and turns as 
the DAEMON begins to charge at him again.

YUKIO gets angry and begins to glow with purple psychic energy. He 
throws a ball of energy and hits the DAEMON in the stomach sending it 
backwards through the air.

YUKIO
DRACONIS! WALL!

Behind the DAEMON the entry wall with the holosuite controls appears.

YUKIO
LOCK!

The DAEMON crashes into the wall and drops to the ground. It gets up 
and shakes its head. YUKIO walks up to it carrying the stick. He swings 
it across its face and then quickly thrusts it into its chest. He 
thrusts it deep again and blood spits out from its mouth. YUKIO 
uppercuts it and the DAEMON drops back to the ground. It looks up at 
YUKIO. YUKIO looks down angrily and swings the stick around his arm. He 
then swings it quickly round to hit the DAEMON across the face.

The DAEMON drops sideways and dies with a groan. YUKIO drops the stick 
and walks away.

YUKIO
Bloody Daemons
Fade Into: FOREST - TREE

In the background we see the moon in full, low and bright. YUKIO sits 
on one of the thick branches high up in one of the trees. He leans 
against the trunk and watches the stars.

The wall appears below him and BASHO walks in. He stares up at YUKIO, 
sensing his whereabouts. YUKIO senses him but doesn't move from his 
position.

BASHO
This isn't healthy you've been here
For four hours now. Come and eat.

YUKIO
Has Kenskei found her yet?

BASHO
He's still doing the scan.

YUKIO
Come back when she's found.

BASHO stares up at him for a little longer, shakes his head and then 
turns back to the door and walks out. The door vanishes behind him.
Fade Out.

EXT. SANCTUARY - DAY

The sanctuary stands tall in our view, a large grey stone building. A 
horde of MONKS in brown robes walk into the building slowly through the 
main large doors chanting softly.

CAPTION: SANCTUARY - UPPER SECTOR
Cut To: SANCTUARY - INTERIOR

The MONKS can now be seen on their knees praying. In front of them we 
can see MIKO tied up to two poles. She has been stripped of her uniform 
and wears nothing but a short black robe.

ONI walks in. She wears the kimono again just as before. She walks up 
to MIKO, looks up, smiles at her and then leans against the wall just 
at the side of the poles. MIKO rouses from an uncomfortable sleep.

ONI
Good morning.

MIKO
What time is it?

ONI
Around six. I trust you slept well.

ONI laughs and MIKO groans as she moves painfully. We cut to a view of 
her back and see cuts along it where she has been lashed.

MIKO
You won't get your powers back.

ONI
Oh but I will and everything will be mine.

MIKO
I'll die before I let you have them back, you'll
Just have to kill me.

ONI
What? And lose my powers forever? I don't think
So. The next full moon we start the ritual and
Bleed them out of you.

MIKO
Ah yes the ritual. It won't work.

ONI
And why not?

MIKO
Because you're incapable of retaining the power.

ONI smiles and slowly walks up to her sister. She punches her, landing 
her unconscious.

ONI
Oh I miss my little chats with you sis.

She walks out of view. The MONKS follow her out and leave MIKO alone 
tied up. MIKO lifts her head and looks around. She sees everyone has 
left and opens her hand slightly. We see she has stolen a COM from her 
sister's breast pocket.
Cut To: DRACONIS - INTELLIGENCE ROOM

KENSKEI sits at a console still carrying out the scan for MIKO. A beep 
can be heard on his COM.

KENSKEI
Yes?

MIKO (v.o)
Kenskei?

KENSKEI
Miko? Where are you?

MIKO (v.o)
I don't know exactly but it looks like some kind
Of church.

KENSKEI
I think I know the place.

MIKO
Come quickly, I haven't got much time.
Cut To: SANCTUARY - EXTERIOR

ONI looks around at the working MONKS gathering various pieces for the 
ritual. She reaches into her breast pocket for the COM but finds 
nothing in there. She turns and angrily rushes back into the building 
to find it.

ONI (rushes up to MIKO)
Where is it?

ONI spots it in MIKO'S hand and grabs it.

MIKO (laughs)
They're on they're way.

ONI
I suppose your wondering where I got this
(Presses the COM)
Satori?

SATORI (v.o)
Yes my Queen?

ONI
My sister needs another beating.

SATORI (v.o)
On my way.

MIKO looks at her sister shocked. She can't believe what she has just 
heard.

ONI
It appears there's a traitor amongst your
People.

MIKO
My friends will come and kill both of you.

ONI
Your friends will come just in time to watch
You die.
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - INTELLIGENCE ROOM - DAY

KENSKEI brings up a map on the consoles screen. He types in co-
ordinates and a flashing red beacon can be seen in one section of the 
map.

He zooms - in and we can see the forest and the small red dot 
signifying MIKO'S whereabouts. He flicks a switch on the console.

KENSKEI
Basho?

BASHO (v.o)
Yes sir?

KENSKEI
Wake Yukio.

BASHO (v.o)
You've found her?

KENSKEI (smiles)
Oh yes I've found her.
Cut To: DRACONIS - CORRIDOR

BASHO rushes along the corridor leading to the holosuite. He meets 
YUKIO already walking down the opposite way. He grabs BASHO'S arm and 
drags him back down the corridor with him.

YUKIO
I already know, follow me.

They walk through another door and see KENSKEI still at the console.

BASHO
How do you already know?

YUKIO
I didn't exactly it just dawned on me
That if Oni was taken by Monks then she was
Brought back to the sanctuary and so that's
Where she would've taken Miko.

KENSKEI
She's taken her for the ritual.

BASHO
What ritual?

KENSKEI
In order to gain her power she has to complete
A ritual. This is to gain the voice of the dragon.
A sacred gift and also a curse. 

YUKIO
The voice of the dragon was only given to a few.
Some were of a good nature some were born of evil.
The voice of the dragon was the power that could
Bring and create life and death.

KENSKEI
Oni was one of the selected few. She used it to
Kill her father and many others.

YUKIO
We have to stop her before she can use it again.
Cut To: DRACONIS - WYVERN BAY

TEMPLARS run to their WYVERNS and strap in. They move into position to 
take off. The hatch opens as more TEMPLARS prepare. 

SOPWITH is among them. He runs to the far corner of the room. Within 
the shadows we see an old bi-plane. He climbs into it and prepares the 
cockpit.
Cut To: DRACONIS - ARMOURY ROOM

TSUMETA, KENSKEI, YUKIO and BASHO load their rifles with fresh 
cartridges. BASHO and YUKIO open a drawer and pull out two broadswords. 
They tie them to their backs and walk out onto the bridge.

TSUMETA unsheathes his sword from his side, looks at it then puts it 
back. He looks at KENSKEI and nods, and then they walk out.

TSUMETA
This is going to be a very dangerous mission.
Those who volunteer in going take one-step forward,
Those who don't I won't hold you to your oaths.

All of the TEMPLARS and OFFICERS on the bridge take one step forward. 
They arm rifles that are held in both hands and stand to attention. 
YUKIO and BASHO are amongst these.

KENSKEI (smiles at TSUMETA)
We trained them well.

TSUMETA, KENSKEI, BASHO and YUKIO walk side by side down the corridor. 
WANG walks through the doors at the end to meet them.

WANG
You think you're going without me you've got
Another thing coming.

TSUMETA
Glad to have you sir.

KENSKEI walks over to a panel on the wall. He presses a button and 
holds his finger to it. We see different parts of the ship and watch as 
TEMPLARS and OFFICERS prepare as KENSKEI talks.

KENSKEI (v.o)
I warn you all now. We are coming up to very
Dangerous times. Those of you that do not join
Us for the battle will be spared and their oaths
Forgotten. Once we reach the dropping point
We will come across heavy fire. Spare no one except
For Miko Takagi. Good luck to all.

YUKIO (turns to KENSKEI)
Satori's mine.

TSUMETA (smiles)
Don't kill him too slowly.

YUKIO looks at his father. TSUMETA nods and smiles, YUKIO nods back and 
they continue to walk down the corridor.
Cut To: DRACONIS - WYVERN BAY

The prepared cruisers take off through the hatch. SOPWITH begins to 
move into position and puts on his helmet. BASHO runs in front and 
stops him. SOPWITH stops the engine and BASHO climbs up to him.

SOPWITH
Ah Basho my old friend, what's on your
Mind?

BASHO
When we're down there it will be complete chaos.
When Yukio and I have rescued Miko I will give
You a signal, could you pick us up I have something
Extra up my sleeve for the Monks?

SOPWITH
Of course I can.

BASHO (climbs down)
Tally ho.

SOPWITH 
Chocks away my good man.

SOPWITH restarts the engine and BASHO moves out of the way. He salutes 
him and SOPWITH salutes back and winks. He moves further into position 
and takes off through the hatch. 

BASHO runs up to a cruiser and climbs in. YUKIO is already preparing 
the cockpit for take-off.

YUKIO
What was that all about?

BASHO
Just a little surprise for the Monks.

YUKIO (laughs)
Trust you.

BASHO
Who's taking care of Oni?

YUKIO
We leave that one to Miko.

The WYVERN moves into position. TSUMETA and KENSKEI watch from the side 
near the doors. YUKIO looks at them and nods, then takes off with the 
others.
Cut To: SANCTUARY - EXTERIOR

SATORI stands watching the skies. He wears a black robe. ONI walks up 
from behind and wraps her arms around his waist.

ONI
What you watching?

SATORI
They will attack soon.

ONI
We'd better prepare the troops.

SATORI
I have already done that.

ONI
Oooo your good.

She moves round to the side of him and watches. The sky looks clear and 
blue. There is no sign of the cruisers just yet. 

ONI walks back inside and up to MIKO who looks weakened and sweating.

ONI
How you feeling?

MIKO
Drop dead.

ONI
I think you'll be first to do that.

MIKO
My friends will defeat you and your little
Worshipper.

ONI
He's under my control.

MIKO
Not for long, he'll betray you just as he did Vox.

ONI
I gave him his powers back from the Gods, he
Loves me for it, he'll do anything I ask.

MIKO
Wait and see.
Cut To:

EXT. SANCTUARY - FOREST AREA - DAY

The plants rustle as a figure, hidden by the shadows leaps through to 
get a better view. He unsheathes a sword and we watch as it glows 
faintly with a golden energy. He then moves further along the shadows 
of the forest.
Cut To: SANCTUARY - HUT - EXTERIOR

A MONK stands watch at the side of one of the huts that lie around the 
grounds of the sanctuary. The MAN from the forest creeps up behind him, 
sword still in his hand.

He puts his hand over the MONK'S mouth and pulls him away out of view 
of others. In the shadows he slits the MONK'S throat and leaves him to 
die.

From the clearing we see the MAN run out. He puts the dead MONK'S robe 
on and covers his face with the hood. He walks along the mud path 
through crowds of MONKS getting ready for battle. He watches them for a 
little while and then darts into the sanctuary.
Cut To: WYVERN - COCKPIT

KENSKEI sits as TSUMETA pilots the cruiser beside him. KENSKEI closes 
his eyes and then begins to glow with his psychic energy.

TSUMETA looks at him as KENSKEI opens his eyes wide, realising 
something. We look into his mind and see the MAN again putting on the 
dead MONK'S robe and quickly sneaking into the building. KENSKEI 
smiles.

TSUMETA
What?

KENSKEI
We have the help of an old friend.
Cut To: YUKIO'S WYVERN - COCKPIT

BASHO also senses the MAN and sees exactly the same image as KENSKEI. 

YUKIO
What's wrong?

BASHO
Nothing wrong, we have outside help.

YUKIO
Who from?

BASHO
I don't know but he seems to be a Templar.
Fade Into: SANCTUARY- INTERIOR

MIKO stands still tied to the two poles. She is the only one left in 
the room. The MAN creeps up to her from behind and we can see her back 
bleeding from the lashes. The MAN takes off the robe and sheathes his 
sword at his side. He pulls out a knife and cuts MIKO down. She 
struggles with him but he calms her. She falls into his arms weak and 
looks up at him as he wraps the robe around her.

MAN (softly)
It's ok I'm here to help.

MIKO moans as the pain from her back hits her. He picks her up and 
creeps back to where he came from. ONI walks in to find her missing. 
Anger fills her face as she rushes back out. She grabs a MONK by his 
thin hair and pulls him towards her.

ONI
My sister is missing. FIND HER!

She pushes the MONK away and he runs down to the others for help. They 
split up and begin the search. ONI looks up at the sky and sees the 
WYVERNS in the distance.

ONI
Not a good time.
Cut To: FOREST

The MAN carries her off into the shadows and to safety. He places her 
down against a rock and begins to inspect her back. He takes a small 
pot from his belt and opens it. He takes out some of the contents and 
spreads the colourless liquid over her wounds. MIKO cries out softly in 
pain as he then wraps cloth around the wound.

MAN
You'll be safe now.

MIKO (breathing heavily)
Who are you?

MAN
My name is Hiroshi Samoto.

MIKO (looks at him)
You're a Templar.

HIROSHI
Used to be, I'm a raider.

MIKO
What's one of them?

HIROSHI
We walk the Earth helping where we can, we don't
Choose the direction we take, just where our power
Takes us. 

MIKO
You are attracted to evil?

HIROSHI
In a manner of speaking yes.

MIKO
How did you know I was the key?

HIROSHI
Our powers tell us what must be done. I was
Told to rescue you.

MIKO
Thank you.

HIROSHI
That's quite all-right Miss Takagi.

MIKO
How did you... 
...Never mind.

HIROSHI
Get some rest. I'm going to scout for Monks.

He pulls out his knife and creeps through the plants. MIKO closes her 
eyes and relaxes.
Cut To:

EXT. SANCTUARY - GROUNDS/FOREST - DAY

The first of the WYVERN cruisers sweep over the area. Energy is dropped 
and explodes on impact with the ground. MONKS are thrown screaming in 
all directions as they die in the blasts.

SATORI and ONI watch as TEMPLARS drop from the cruisers. SATORI'S eyes 
flash with gold lightning and two of the TEMPLARS burst into flames, 
screaming. 

ONI
ATTACK!

MONKS charge at the remaining TEMPLARS. More explosions hit them as 
more energy is thrown down from the cruisers. MONKS cut down some of 
the TEMPLARS as they clash in combat with each other. 

ONI senses her sister's presence and runs into the forest. A TEMPLAR 
runs up to attack SATORI who grabs him and throws him into three others 
following to attack.

Another sweep of WYVERNS fills the sky. More TEMPLARS and OFFICERS jump 
from the ships. Rifle fire fills the area as MONKS are gunned down. 
Others charge at the TEMPLARS and cut more of them down with swift 
blade swings.

Another WYVERN flies over and fires down at SATORI who holds out his 
hand and blocks them with an invisible protective field. His eyes flash 
again and the cruiser blows up and crushes more TEMPLARS as it falls to 
the ground.

ONI runs down the path into the forest. A TEMPLAR who holds out his 
sword to her stops her from moving any further. He suddenly drops it 
after realising who he sees mistaking her for MIKO.

ONI picks up his sword and thrusts it deep into his chest. The TEMPLAR 
horrified, drops to the ground dead and ONI runs on into the forest.

Another sweep of cruisers drops more TEMPLARS into the forest. HIROSHI 
meets them at the drop site. They stop and wait for his command. He 
gestures for them to follow and they creep behind him as he moves 
through the plants.

TSUMETA and KENSKEI drop from their WYVERN and an OFFICER takes over 
the controls. SATORI looks at it and the cruiser turns and crashes into 
three more TEMPLARS narrowly missing TSUMETA and KENSKEI as they dive 
out of the way. 

TSUMETA rolls back to his feet and draws his sword. He swings and 
slices it through a MONK who charges at his with a spear held in front. 
TSUMETA then grabs the spear and throws it towards another MONK. It 
slices through his stomach and the MONK drops down dead. 

KENSKEI picks up a dead MONKS sword and pulls his own from his back 
pouch. Two MONKS swing at him with their swords and KENSKEI blocks and 
parries both at the same time. He spins to dodge another thrust and 
slices their heads off with one quick swing as he spins. He looks over 
at SATORI and throws one of the swords at him. We follow it as it aims 
for his chest. SATORI picks up a TEMPLAR and the sword slices through 
the TEMPLARS chest. SATORI throws his to the floor to die.
Cut To: FOREST

MIKO lies by the rock, eyes closed still. She hears rustling behind her 
and sits up quickly. She winces in pain slightly as she does.

MIKO
Hiroshi?

ONI
Not even close.

ONI drags her sister up and carries her back to the sanctuary. MIKO 
struggles but it is no use, she is still weak.
Cut To: SANCTUARY

HIROSHI and his TEMPLARS charge from within the forest. They cut down 
one MONK after another. WYVERNS pass overhead and give cover fire. 
TSUMETA cuts another MONK down and drops his sword. He picks up his 
rifle, cocks it and fires buckshot at more charging MONKS who fall 
backwards dead.

SOPWITH flies overhead and also gives cover fire for the TEMPLARS. He 
Spirals to dodge a burning cruiser and then returns for another sweep 
over the area where he shoots more MONKS down.

YUKIO and BASHO jump down from their WYVERN. YUKIO notices SATORI 
immediately and begins to walk up to him. SATORI stares back at YUKIO 
and grins evilly. A TEMPLAR rushes towards him and punches the side of 
his face. SATORI just turns to face the TEMPLAR and throws him down 
into two others who then burst into flames. 

MONKS charge to attack YUKIO who unsheathes his blade and swings at one 
who blocks. Another thrusts but YUKIO moves aside to dodge and slices 
his head off. He then spins and thrusts his sword into another charging 
at him from behind. He picks the MONK up with his sword and throws him 
into the third that then dies on the end of the flying MONKS sword.

BASHO unsheathes his sword and glows with psychic energy. He points his 
sword out at a charging MONK and throws three bolts of green energy 
from it. The energy hits the MONK and he spirals back and hits the 
ground. BASHO then spins and swings his sword left and slices through 
another MONK who spins to the ground dead.

YUKIO drops his sword and continues to walk up to SATORI. Another MONK 
moves in to attack and YUKIO grabs him and thrusts two balls of purple 
energy into his chest at close range causing a huge hole. He grabs his 
rifle and fires through it killing two more MONKS. He throws the other 
to the ground and then cocks his rifle again and fires just in time to 
hit another MONK coming to attack from the opposite side. 

TSUMETA and KENSKEI move together back to back. TSUMETA battles a MONK 
with his blade as KENSKEI re-cocks his rifle and shoots another down.

TSUMETA
Where's Miko?

KENSKEI
Probably inside.

TSUMETA
We have to get to her before the sunsets.

TSUMETA slices through the MONKS chest and pushes him back. Another 
MONK charges at another TEMPLAR in front of TSUMETA. The MONK thrusts a 
spear into the TEMPLAR'S back and dies as he drops to the ground. The 
MONK looks over and sees TSUMETA staring. He turns and TSUMETA throws a 
bolt of his energy at him and the MONK spins in the air and drops to 
the ground over the dead TEMPLAR.

TSUMETA
I think its time.

KENSKEI nods and they both drop their weapons. They then both leap into 
the air and six wings spread from their backs. They spin round and fire 
their energy at the MONKS who drop to the ground dead. TSUMETA'S wings 
fire six more bolts of energy at the ground. The ground explodes in a 
double line of purple flame. MONKS in the area dive in random 
directions and hit the ground burnt and dead.

KENSKEI'S wings power up with his energy and he fires another six bolts 
of golden energy. They spread into random directions and split into 
another three bolts each to form a cluster bomb. MONKS explode into 
flames as each bolt hits home. SATORI looks up at them both and his 
eyes flash again. Suddenly KENSKEI and TSUMETA drop to the ground, 
their wings disappear.

TSUMETA turns just in time to block a spear from going into his head. 
He sends a bolt of energy up its pole and the MONK flies backwards into 
the air and bursts into flames. They both then get up and fire their 
energy at more of the MONKS.

BASHO throws his sword and focuses his energy on it. It glows green and 
spins through the air. MONK after MONK in the way of the sword loses 
his head. SATORI looks at him and uses his energy to lift a rock. He 
throws it and it hits BASHO in the back of the head knocking him out. 
The sword drops down to the ground and slices through another TEMPLAR'S 
leg.

YUKIO pulls another MONK towards him and snaps his neck, letting him 
drop to the ground beside him. YUKIO gets closer to SATORI and SATORI 
grins again. A wall suddenly appears in the way. YUKIO punches it and 
just as he makes contact with the rock, spikes slice through his hand. 
He moves back from it and wipes his hand over the other. The wounds 
disappear. He throws a ball of energy at the wall and it explodes. The 
pieces of rock hit surrounding MEN who scream as the spikes slice 
through parts of their body.

From above a smaller WYVERN cruiser flies in and fires at more of the 
MONKS, it is WANG. He lowers the craft and TSUMETA and KENSKEI jump up 
and into it. They focus their energy and use it to give rear fire as 
WANG shoots from the front.

All around the warriors more TEMPLARS die. HIROSHI slices through one 
MONK after another as if he's unstoppable. From the side ONI drags MIKO 
up to the sanctuary building. HIROSHI spots this and runs up to attack. 
ONI sees him and picks up a sword, which she then throws at him. It 
glows with a deep red energy and HIROSHI blocks it and jumps back. ONI 
continues to drag MIKO up to the main doors of the building.

YUKIO runs up to her and picks up a rifle. He cocks it and aims at ONI 
who sees him and drags MIKO in front for cover.

ONI
I wouldn't if I were you boy!

YUKIO lowers the gun and lets them go inside. He moves his glance to 
SATORI who laughs at him.

SATORI
You can't win Yukio.

YUKIO glad you still remember my name. You'll
Be using it when you scream for mercy.

SATORI (laughs)
I don't think so, my father gave me power greater
Than you can possibly imagine.

YUKIO
Well I'm about to take it off you.

YUKIO spreads his four wings. He powers up with energy but SATORI 
doesn't even flinch, he just stares unimpressed. 

SATORI backs away into the building and YUKIO follows leaving the 
others to battle the MONKS outside. We follow them in and notice in the 
background ONI is strapping MIKO back to the two poles.

Outside the sun begins to set in the distance. KENSKEI looks over at it 
as TSUMETA fires down killing another MONK.

KENSKEI
Lets hope this goes to plan.

BASHO, down on the ground also notices the sunset. He looks back at the 
doors of the building then throws a ball of energy at another MONK who 
spins to the ground.

BASHO (whispers)
Come on Yukio.

YUKIO gets up from the floor and wipes blood from his face. The roof 
splits up and opens above them slowly and ONI and MIKO look up. ONI 
smiles and turns to finish tying up her sister who continues to 
struggle unsuccessfully.

ONI
Not long now.

SATORI kicks YUKIO in the chest. YUKIO goes back down to the ground and 
SATORI kicks again, harder. YUKIO spins and flies into the wall. He 
lands back on the floor and gets to his feet. He walks up to SATORI who 
punches again. The punch is blocked and countered by another punch to 
the face. YUKIO spins and swings his fist round to hit SATORI again.

SATORI blocks it. YUKIO counters the block with a front kick but this 
is blocked also. SATORI double punches YUKIO in the chest and puts 
energy through it. YUKIO flies backwards and hits an invisible wall and 
drops back to the ground.

SATORI
You can't beat me. Mia couldn't, your
Mother didn't stand a chance...

YUKIO
...MURDERER!

YUKIO floats up and angrily charges at SATORI. SATORI throws a ball of 
golden energy at YUKIO. YUKIO freezes it in front of him and sends it 
back quickly. It hits SATORI in the chest. YUKIO follows it closely 
with a punch to the face. He punches again from left to right, and then 
right to left and back again. He then uppercuts and lifts SATORI up 
where he then falls backwards onto the ground.

YUKIO walks up and kicks SATORI in the chest. He kicks again and then 
again quickly afterwards. SATORI'S eyes flash and YUKIO is thrown back 
into a wall. He lands heavily on the floor.

TSUMETA runs into the room through the main doors. He looks at SATORI 
and slowly walks up to him.

TSUMETA (possessed)
NASARAI HOMITOTAI NIKORO RATSUKO!

SATORI floats up into the air. He twists and turns and purple energy 
spirals round him until it fades into his body. SATORI screams and then 
drops to the ground.

YUKIO
WHAT DID YOU DO?

TSUMETA
GAVE YOU A SPORTING CHANCE!

SATORI gets up slowly. He looks innocently around as if he no longer 
has power. He throws a ball of energy at TSUMETA who stops it and sends 
it back. SATORI blocks it and laughs.

SATORI
Your silly magic can't stop me.

YUKIO gets up and throws a bolt of his energy. It hits SATORI in the 
side and throws him to the ground. He screams in pain as lightning 
surrounds his body and hits random places.

YUKIO
No but I can.

He charges towards SATORI and kicks him in the head. YUKIO puts his 
hands together and sends a stream of energy into SATORI'S body. SATORI 
screams more and then slowly gets back up onto his feet. 

He throws the energy back at YUKIO, turns him round and throws him into 
TSUMETA.

SATORI
Not today!

SATORI forms a swirl of energy around his body and vanishes in a flash. 
ONI looks surprised and MIKO laughs softly making sure she doesn't 
cause pain.

MIKO
I told you he would.

ONI
Shut up.

ONI, YUKIO and TSUMETA look up as lightning strikes the roof. Sparks 
float down onto the floor and ONI laughs evilly.

ONI
Its time!

BASHO runs in with KENSKEI. A MONK tries to stop them but KENSKEI 
flicks some of his energy down onto the ground and the MONK flies up 
out of view screaming as his feet burn up. They stand in a line and 
look up as another bolt of lightning strikes and hit the floor leaving 
a charred mark.

BASHO
Here's the plan. When the transfer starts
Between the girls Yukio will use his energy
To knock Oni out of the way. I'll cut Miko
Down and use my power to heal her.
(turns to TSUMETA)
Could you two get everyone out of the way?

TSUMETA
What do you have in mind?

BASHO
A little surprise for Oni and her followers.

KENSKEI
We'll do our best. Good luck, all of you.

TSUMETA and KENSKEI run out to save the remaining TEMPLARS. MIKO and 
the two poles begin to move towards the centre of the room underneath 
the opening in the roof. 

A platform begins to rise in the centre of the floor. It detaches from 
the rest of the floor and floats up above MIKO as she moves into its 
place. ONI leaps up onto the platform and spreads her arms out.

Thunder cracks and another bolt of lightning hits the roof sending more 
sparks down. ONI turns on the spot as they do and laughs happily.
Cut To: OUTSIDE

TSUMETA and KENSKEI fire their energy at another few MONKS. They look 
around as swords and spears slowly slaughter the remaining TEMPLARS. 
TSUMETA blows another MONK up and rescues a TEMPLAR from his death.

KENSKEI
GET TO YOUR SHIPS AND RETREAT BACK TO DRACONIS!

The WYVERNS above lower to collect the remaining TEMPLARS. WANG returns 
with them and shoots at the MONKS as they surround TSUMETA and KENSKEI. 
They drop to the ground and TSUMETA and KENSKEI jump into the cruiser. 
SOPWITH returns but waits around and shoots more MONKS.

TSUMETA (touches COM)
WE MUST RETREAT!

SOPWITH (v.o)
Sorry old boy I've been told to stay behind
To collect the heroes.

TSUMETA
GOOD LUCK!

SOPWITH (v.o)
Much appreciated old friend.

WANG flies the cruiser following the others back to the ship. SOPWITH 
flies circles and watches as more TEMPLARS are picked up and sent back.

HIROSHI jumps back out of the path of a ball of energy. It fires down 
from one of the cruisers and narrowly misses him. He lands in the 
plants and undergrowth of the forest.
Cut To: SANCTUARY BUILDING

A bolt of lightning hits the roof again covering the two girls in 
sparks.

BASHO
Get ready; the next one will start the ritual.

YUKIO
What you gonna' do?

BASHO
I'm gonna' create an energy wave that will kill 
Everything in this area.

YUKIO
What about us?

BASHO
Don't worry Sopwith will collect us.

YUKIO
Oh great my lives in the hands of some retired
Crack shot.

Lightning strikes down and hit the two girls. ONI opens her arms again 
and a bright and deep red flash of energy fills the room. It knocks 
YUKIO and BASHO into the wall. They drop to the ground and the ritual 
begins.

BASHO gets to his knees and coughs. He looks up and like a strong gust 
of wind the energy transfer begins. BASHO struggles to get up. 

YUKIO also struggles. He finally manages to and is dragged slowly 
backwards into the wall. BASHO glows with green energy. He moves slowly 
along the side of the room and watches MIKO who screams in pain.

YUKIO roars as if possessed. A flash of purple energy fills his body 
and his wings fly out of his back once more. Five balls of energy fire 
slowly, breaking through the spreading energy. 

As if in slow motion the balls of energy twist and turn, getting bigger 
as they collect some of ONI'S energy inside them.

A loud scream sounding like a Dragon fills the room coming from the 
energy. MIKO screams again and the pain intensifies. The five balls of 
energy split just as KENSKEI'S did earlier and then begin to speed up. 
ONI looks at them and her eyes widen. 

Each one hits her and throws her off the platform. YUKIO'S energy from 
the balls spreads over ONI'S body pinning her against the wall.

The energy flashes and moves back into MIKO as we hear another Dragon 
scream. MIKO'S head drops as she loses consciousness. BASHO runs 
towards her and flicks open his knife. He cuts the straps holding her 
and she drops into his arms. He carries her to YUKIO and passes her 
into his arms.

BASHO
Now go, fire this into the sky for Sopwith.

BASHO hands YUKIO a small flare. YUKIO turns and runs out of the 
building. ONI drops to the ground and coughs as if choked. She looks up 
at BASHO angrily and her eyes glow deep red, her pupils no longer 
visible.

ONI (possessed)
YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!

She throws a stream of energy at BASHO. It hits his arm and begins to 
burn him. BASHO screams in agony. The energy moves up his arm leaving a 
charred looking path up it. BASHO drops to the floor weakening.

ONI throws another at him and his other arm begins to burn. She gets 
closer to him and laughs still as if possessed.

ONI
GOOD! I CAN FEEL YOUR PAIN!
Cut To: OUTSIDE

YUKIO gets outside and throws the flare up into the sky. It explodes 
into a green flash of light. SOPWITH notices it and flies down to its 
direction. 

He lands next to YUKIO who still has MIKO in his arms. He puts her in 
the back of the plane and straps her in. HIROSHI limps out of the 
forest. YUKIO notices him.

YUKIO
Quickly.

SOPWITH
What's taking Basho so long?

YUKIO watches the main doors of the building as we...
Cut To: BUILDING - INTERIOR

BASHO screams again. ONI sends another stream at him and BASHO slowly 
and painfully gets up. His eyes flash with his green energy and he 
reverses the streams of ONI'S energy.

She screams as one of the streams loses its grip on BASHO and whips her 
face cutting into it. BASHO glows green and the burn disappears from 
his arms. He throws his energy out and ONI flies across the room and 
hits the wall.

Another bolt of lightning strikes the ground and blows the platform 
away. BASHO ducks as a chunk of rock flies over his head. Another piece 
hits ONI knocking her out.

A golden flash appears just behind ONI. SATORI fades in from the flash 
and picks her up into his arms. He looks at BASHO angrily.

BASHO
Be seeing you again.

SATORI
You can count on it.

With this they both vanish in a flash of gold energy. BASHO is left on 
his own. He limps towards the opening in the roof. He looks up at the 
stormy sky and glows with green energy as a bolt of lightning hits him. 
He closes his eyes and uses the lightning's energy. It turns to a deep 
blue and expands to fill the room. 

He flashes and the energy expands more and leaves his body. He runs 
through the energy as if in slow motion and passes it just outside the 
main doors. 

He runs towards the plane. It starts up and begins to move ready to 
take off. HIROSHI hangs on to the left wing, YUKIO on the right. They 
tie ropes to there hands so they can't fall off. It lifts off from the 
ground, BASHO chasing it closely behind.

The energy wave expands over the remaining MONKS and the dead. They 
move around in slow motion and BASHO leaps into the air as the plane 
takes off. He catches hold of the bar between the two front wheels and 
the plane flies off leaving the sanctuary behind.

We close - in on BASHO'S eyes that suddenly flash with blue energy. The 
wave of energy behind them explodes into a field of flame incinerating 
the remaining MONKS and the dead. BASHO'S eyes return to their original 
green as we see in the background the building exploding spilling rock 
around the area.

From behind the plane a shockwave emerges from the energy. It hits the 
plane knocking the power out. It stutters and then falls out of the 
sky.

They fall to the ground, hitting trees. The wings snap off and spin out 
of view as the plane falls to the ground. BASHO lets go of the plane 
and catches hold of a branch of one of the trees.

The others jump off as the plane hits the ground. HIROSHI and YUKIO 
land and roll along the ground. BASHO jumps down from the tree and 
lands on the ground. He gets up and runs towards the plane.

YUKIO and HIROSHI get up and brush themselves down. BASHO passes YUKIO 
and YUKIO spots the plane. He runs after BASHO towards it, BASHO picks 
SOPWITH out of the front of the plane and YUKIO drags MIKO out and into 
his arms.

They all run from the wreckage and the plane bursts into flames and 
explodes. They stop, turn and watch as the plane burns away.
Fade Out.

EXT. FOREST - DAY

MIKO awakens and finds she is lying against a rock in the forest. YUKIO 
kneels beside her and brushes her hair back.

YUKIO
How you feeling?

MIKO
Pain, lots of it.

BASHO walks over and puts his hand to her head. It glows faintly with 
his green energy and she closes her eyes as he takes his hand away.

BASHO
How about now?

MIKO
Much better thank you.

HIROSHI
Does your COM work?

BASHO
No, damaged during the battle.

YUKIO
Same here.

HIROSHI (looks ahead)
Well we have a long walk ahead of us.

YUKIO
You up for that?

MIKO
Suppose I'll have to be.

YUKIO helps her up and they begin the walk following HIROSHI who 
appears to know the way.
Fade Into: DESERT - DAY

We fade into a desert. Nothing but sand can be seen in the view. We 
zoom - in to find the TEMPLARS still walking, HIROSHI still leading the 
way.

YUKIO stops and hears a faint humming noise behind him. He turns and we 
see a WYVERN cruiser flying towards them. It lands in front of them and 
the TEMPLARS have to shield their eyes from the dust.

TSUMETA (climbs out)
Thought we'd find you eventually.

KENSKEI (follows TSUMETA)
Good to see you again Hiroshi.

HIROSHI
Glad to help.

TSUMETA (smiles)
Come on heroes; let's take you home.

They climb into the cruiser and it takes off. It turns and flies 
straight at the camera.
Cut To:

INT. DRACONIS - WYVERN BAY - NIGHT

The WYVERN flies in and lands on the bay. A crowd has gathered around 
the WYVERN as they get out. YUKIO helps MIKO out as cheers welcome them 
all.

WANG walks slowly from within the crowd. He puts a warming hand on both 
YUKIO and BASHO. He then moves to MIKO and smiles.

WANG
Welcome home.

BASHO 
Good to be back.

WANG
You all did very well. I believe a promotion is
In order. Commander Nasamuri will you do the 
Honours?

TSUMETA steps forward and holds his hand out. Three streams of purple 
energy spread and hit the three TEMPLARS.

A new strip fades onto their uniforms and TSUMETA bows at each one of 
them in turn.

TSUMETA
Welcome home Captain Nasarugi, Captain Nasamuri,
And of course...
(moves to MIKO)
...Captain Takagi.

More cheers fill the room from the crowds as YUKIO and MIKO hug. YUKIO 
picks her up into his arms and makes the hug tighter as we...
Cut To:

INT. MONASTERY - SPORTS ARENA - NIGHT

Five TEMPLARS stand ready in formation. Opposite them is another five 
standing ready. Among these five we see YUKIO, BASHO and MIKO.

CAPTION: VOX MONASTERY

In the centre of the court we see a square compartment lowering from 
the ceiling. On the sides of it a board reads: DRACONIS OUTLANDERS VS 
IMPERATOR WYVERNS.

The hatch opens underneath the compartment and the crowds stand at the 
edges of the court watching through a see - through shield fence. A 
buzzer sounds and a small white ball drops from the hatch to start the 
game.

YUKIO flies forward and leaps up. He summersaults and catches the ball 
before it can hit the ground. He drops it in front of him and holds out 
his hands. We see that he is wearing white gloves. They glow white for 
a few seconds and a stick materialises from them and grows to full 
size. It becomes solid and he moves the ball left and right with it.

He passes left to BASHO. BASHO stops the ball with his stick and spins 
to dodge an opposing player. He then lifts the ball into the air and 
shoots. The ball spins through the air and hits the goal net before the 
goalie can get to it, the board above them flashes 1 - 0 to Draconis.

YUKIO, MIKO and BASHO clash sticks in celebration. The crowd around 
them cheer and shout and the players rotate and prepare for the next 
ball to drop from the hatch.
