ACCOUNTING AREA - A LITTLE LATER - D1 Kevin throws a crumpled piece of paper into the waste basket. Dwight sidles up holding a small rectangular notebook - the kind used to issue citations. DWIGHT What did you just throw in there? KEVIN Nothing. Dwight steps to the trash, pulls out the crumpled piece of paper, sets it on Kevin's keyboard. DWIGHT You call this nothing? Disgusted by Kevin's foul up, Michael slumps, shakes his head. DARRYL (clapping) Hell yeah! That was cool. Pam goes over and helps Kevin up, allowing him to take in a quick view of her rack from below. Dwight stares, doesn't know what to do. MICHAEL Continue please, CO2 monster. DWIGHT Argh! I am the CO2 Monster! And I have come to kill the environment! Suddenly, Dwight whips out a real samurai sword. Jim looks at the camera: wide-eyed. Kevin is still on the ground, slowly getting up with the help of Pam. MICHAEL Dwight - put away the sword. DWIGHT Huh? MICHAEL Put the sword away before you kill someone. It taught me that even if you're just a regular person, you have the power to defeat the CO2 Monster, and that's really cool. CREED TALKING HEAD CREED What did I think of the play? It was okay I guess. I acted in something like that about 25 years ago: The Play in the Hills, by the Traveling Wildebeests of Omaha. We toured a bit, actually. Hit all the hot spots. Humboldt, Santa Cruz, Malibu, Boulder. Then one day the head of the troupe swallowed a bottle of liquid acid and that was it. INT.
