EXT. THE STONES - 1278 - NIGHT

WHITE FLASH - Fade In.

Clouds slowly cover the sky as the camera spirals round the mound that stands 
five stones in a perfect circle. We notice that within the stone circle we see 
five DRUIDS all dressed in brown or black robes. As we zoom - in closer to the 
druids we hear the chants from them becoming louder.

CAPTION: THE STONES - 1278

Cut To: CENTRE STONE

Inside the stone circle we see another stone, the sixth stone, placed in the 
centre of the circle stands horizontally unlike the others. The DRUIDS chants 
continue to get louder and appear to be derived from an ancient language that we 
cannot understand.

We focus on the centre stone and notice amidst the chanting a red energy in the 
form of three balls of light fade - in and rest upon the stone. In a sudden 
flash of white light they are gone and the stone begins to glow with a faint 
red.

The DRUIDS step back slightly and watch, as the glow becomes stronger. There is 
another flash but this time of a light red. The three balls of energy rise out 
of the stone and begin to combine to form the shape of a MAN as the druids who 
are becoming slightly frightened by the presence begin to back away slightly. 

Close In: ABOVE CENTRE STONE

As the energy forms the shape and then makes its glow stronger we see that the 
layers of a human, the organs, flesh, bones etc... being formed on the stone out 
of what seems to be the energy.

DRUID #1 (whispers excitedly)
It has begun.

In another flash the energy disappears and leaves a MAN lying there in a black 
suit and cloak. We zoom - in slowly and focus - on his face as his eyes open and 
he smiles evilly towards the camera.

He gets up off of the stone and we spiral round him as the DRUID walks closer to 
him gingerly. As we spiral once more we notice that the DRUID looks scared and 
the smile on the MANS face has gone. 

MAN
You have brought me back from the pits of the
Underworld. I thank you.

In a sudden move of his right arm, the MAN punches through the DRUIDS body and 
rips out his heart. The heart still beating in the MANS hand is squeezed and 
then dropped to the floor where slowly the DRUID also drops dead.

MAN (raises his bloody hands to the sky and laughs)
You fools! What on this Earth were you thinking!

We zoom now into the MANS eyes as we hear frightened whispers coming from the 
other DRUIDS.

DRUID #2 (whispers)
He is not the one.

DRUID #3 (whispers)
We have made a mistake.

DRUID #2 (whispers)
What have we done? This isn't the Beholder.

The MAN darts round to the DRUID and instead of seeing the MANS eyes we see two 
burning black flames that begin to get stronger. We now zoom - out and see the 
DRUIDS suddenly burst into flames and drop to the ground screaming in a pile of 
ashes. Their screams fade into the distance and the MAN walks off.

Fade Out.

MAN (V.O)
Mortals, such feeble creatures.

Cut To: TITLES

INT. MONASTERY - NIGHT

The bay door to the cargo bay of the VOX MONASTERY opens wide and a WYVERN 
cruiser flies in to land on the pad. It lands gracefully and pulls into the pad.

CAPTION: VOX MONASTERY - PRESENT DAY
A door on the side opens and in a close - up shot we see a pair of black boots 
step down from the ship and onto the wooden deck. 

The camera pans up to now see two legs covered in black trousers and at the back 
of them a black/red cloak hangs elegantly behind. We pan further to now see a 
white cotton shirt and then a face. Light purple hair, short and straight sits 
on top of his head and a scar glows faintly purple over his left eye.

He looks round and smiles as if to say 'I'm home'. A hand reaches down at the 
side of him and he picks up a black bag that he then places on his shoulder. He 
then walks forward and through a pair of black double doors.

He puts his bag back down on the floor and looks forward to see, already 
standing in the room are three other people, dressed exactly the same as him. He 
looks around from left to right and then finally picks his bag back up and joins 
the others in a line in the centre of the room.

From the opposite side the MAN walked in another door opens. From it, a man with 
golden hair, dressed in the same uniform as the others but also wearing a 
monocle walks in. He opens out his hand and in a small white flash a clipboard 
appears.

He walks up to the line and faces the four. He ticks places off on his clipboard 
and then throws it over his left shoulder where it spirals in the air and then 
vanishes again in another small white flash.

MAN (STARES AT PEOPLE)
Welcome Cadets, my name is Kenskei Takasoto.
But you will know me as sir. This is the
Dragonship Draconis, Yukio, Basho, you already
Know this, you've both been here before. You
Will all be assigned to the Dragonship 
Draconis, this will be where you will do your 
Training under my command.

KENSKEI walks over to YUKIO, smiles and puts a hand on his shoulder. YUKIO 
smiles back and then they both hug.

KENSKEI
Hey sport, its good to see you again.

YUKIO
You too Uncle.

KENSKEI
Tell me, how is your father?

From within the shadows in the far rear corner of the room a shadow flickers and 
another MAN walks forward. He looks just like YUKIO but older.

MAN
He's just fine Kenskei. Now enough with
This friendly chit - chat we have work to do.

KENSKEI
Oh so the rumours were true Tsumeta.

YUKIO closes his eyes and freezes. KENSKEI looks at YUKIO then back at TSUMETA, 
his father. He senses the bitterness between the two and frowns.

YUKIO returns to his place in the line and KENSKEI moves onto the next person. 
He looks at the young MAN admiringly as his green hair flows down his back 
elegantly and his uniform is placed clean and crisp.

KENSKEI (nods in approval)
I gather it went well?

MAN
Yes sir.

KENSKEI
Good. We will have to train you at a more
Difficult level.

MAN
Yes sir, thank you sir.

YUKIO looks at him and a sense of wonder sweeps across him. BASHO stands 
perfectly still and KENSKEI moves onto the next person, she stands to attention, 
her deep red hair tied behind her head.

KENSKEI
Ah, you must be Miko Takagi.

MIKO
Yes sir.

KENSKEI
Welcome to Vox. Where are you from?

MIKO
The outer rim sir.

KENSKEI (looks her up and down and smiles)
Yes, thought as much.

He then moves on to the fourth and final person but carries on past him quickly. 
He stands to attention with his golden hair tied behind his head and a wide grin 
on his face.

KENSKEI (as he passes)
Satori.

SATORI
Sir.

KENSKEI walks back out of the room with TSUMETA joining him at his side. SATORI 
realising they've gone moves closer to MIKO and looks her up and down. 

He whistles and she smiles mischievously. He moves around her still looking her 
up and down and then moves close to her ear.

SATORI (WHISPERS)
Well, miko, I have to say you look amazingly
Beautiful this morning.

MIKO
Why thank you Satori.

SATORI
You know I was thinking maybe we should...
(leans in further to whisper directly)

MIKO fills with anger upon hearing this and glows with a red psychic energy. 
Suddenly SATORI is sent flying back across the room and into the wall where he 
then drops to the ground. YUKIO watches and upon seeing this laughs quietly to 
himself. The MAN next to YUKIO stands still but a broad smile fills his face.

MIKO flicks her hair away from her face and picks up her bag. The others do the 
same and follow her out of the room as SATORI moans painfully.
Cut To: DRACONIS - CORRIDOR - DAY

CAPTION: DRAGONSHIP DRACONIS

As they walk down the corridor towards their quarters YUKIO runs to catch MIKO 
up.

YUKIO
Excuse me? Miko?

MIKO (STOPS AND TURNS TO HIM SMILING)
Yea?

YUKIO (WALKS WITH HER)
Just wondering. Who's the one in front?

MIKO
Oh that's Basho Nasarugi. Very mysterious.
Apparently no one knows where he comes from.

YUKIO
I recognise him from somewhere.

MIKO 
You do? From where?

YUKIO
From when I first came here with my father.

MIKO
You've been here before?

YUKIO
Yea, when I was ten, I think.

BASHO smiles secretly upon overhearing the conversation. He also remembers and 
then turns into a room where his quarters are placed.

YUKIO and MIKO walk to the end of the corridor and stop by two more doors 
opposite each other. MIKO puts her bag in the right side room and YUKIO in the 
left.

YUKIO
Pleasure meeting you Miss Takagi.

MIKO (smiles)
You too.

Fade Out.

EXT. NASBETH - NIGHT

We open with a sudden burst into the scene. We find ourselves rushing through 
crop and realise we are inside a field. As the camera rises above the plants we 
see the four Cadets.

CAPTION: NASBETH - OUTER RIM

Close - up: SWORDS

We now see a close - up of two swords as they shine in the moonlight, ancient 
writing is found engraved into the blade. It moves to the side and we follow to 
see that the fighting has restarted and the two swords looking identical hit 
each other.

Cut To: FIGHT SEQUENCE

The camera now focuses on YUKIO. His eyes come into view and as he squints we 
notice two flames flash slightly. He summersaults over SATORI who is his 
opponent and thrusts the sword aiming for the centre of his back. SATORI moves 
his sword over his head and blocks YUKIO, then spins round and swings his sword, 
which is then blocked by YUKIO.

Behind YUKIO we notice BASHO. He leaps into the air and lunges at YUKIO. YUKIO 
jumps up and BASHO hits the ground. We focus back on YUKIO who twists in the air 
and points his sword down to his feet. Purple energy surrounds his body and the 
sword as he crashes back down to the ground creating a crater around his body 
and knocking both BASHO and SATORI aside.

KENSKEI
Good, you have great skill Yukio, but
How great is it.

A smile forms on KENSKEIS face and he moves closer, ready to battle. BASHO and 
SATORI step aside and out of the way and we notice that KENSKEI begins to glow 
with yellow psychic energy. The crater heals itself and the ground is restored 
to its original state as YUKIO and KENSKEI face each other ready to fight.

They both hold their swords in front of them and YUKIO closes his eyes. We pan 
round him as the breeze brushes his hair aside. KENSKEI leaps and summersaults 
towards YUKIO thrusting his sword in his general direction. YUKIO vanishes and 
KENSKEI hits the ground causing dust to fly. 

We spin round and find YUKIO smiling at KENSKEI who turns around to face YUKIO 
rage filling his face. He throws the sword down to the ground and moves into a 
forward stance. YUKIO watches and does the same. They move closer to each other 
and KENSKEI throws dirt up into the air and kicks with speed towards YUKIOS 
chest. He hits and knocks YUKIO back slightly. KENSKEI kicks again but is 
blocked and then springs into a double kick followed by a punch to the face but 
they are all blocked.

YUKIO sweeps KENSKEI but KENSKEI jumps and is then hit by a spinning heel kick 
that is produced consecutively by YUKIO after the sweep. KENSKEI falls on the 
floor then spins round and knocks YUKIO down as he gets back up onto his feet.

YUKIO punches the ground twice and then flashes with his psychic energy. His 
body lifts suddenly and he spins into KENSKEI who is sent flying backwards. 
YUKIO gets back to his feet and flashes again. KENSKEI hits what seems to be an 
imaginary wall and falls back to the ground.

As KENSKEI growls in anger he flashes with his psychic energy and YUKIO is sent 
into the air. He begins to scream with pain as he floats there. His body 
flinches and then goes still. KENSKEI gets up and looks at YUKIO, who then looks 
back, anger filling his face. YUKIO thrusts his arms out and then drops to the 
floor.

YUKIO lies still. KENSKEI curiously looks at him and then begins to walk slowly. 
The others around him look up in disbelief. KENSKEI stands over YUKIO who still 
doesn't move.

KENSKEI bends down to see if he's breathing and we cut to behind him to see in a 
purple flash KENSKEI flies up into the air and lands with a thump on the ground 
by YUKIO.

YUKIO gets up, picks KENSKEI back up and brushes himself down.

KENSKEI
Good, you have learnt well.

He pats down the creases in his uniform and then walks off and vanishes. MIKO 
runs up to YUKIO.

MIKO
Yukio?

YUKIO
I'm ok.

SATORI
What did he do to you?

YUKIO
You really don't wanna' know.

He walks off and vanishes just like KENSKEI did earlier. The others look at each 
other, MIKO looking extremely worried.

Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - WYVERN LAUNCH BAY - NIGHT

We cut to YUKIO who is found cleaning down his WYVERN cruiser. MIKO appears 
behind him. He notices her presence but continues to clean his ship.

MIKO
What happened earlier?

YUKIO stops his job and stays there still. His head drops and he sighs.

YUKIO
He used a mind trick on me. He went into my
Mind and unlocked everythin I never wanted
To see again, my nightmares, my fears, he
Made them all come back whilst he send volts
Of pain through my body.

YUKIO turns to face MIKO and she looks into his eyes. He freezes there for a few 
seconds then drops his head slightly.

MIKO runs her hand softly down the side of his face and he lifts his head back 
up and smiles.

MIKO
He unlocked thoughts of your father didn't he?

YUKIO
How do you know about that?

MIKO
I've sensed it, we all have.

YUKIO
He left when I was young.

MIKO
You miss him?

YUKIO
I hate him for leaving. He promised he'd always
Be there. He broke my mother's heart and my
Brother's spirit how can I miss him?

MIKO
I wanna' help.

YUKIO looks up into her eyes again and in her innocent look he sees something 
and smiles. He puts his left hand around her waist, pulls her close and wraps 
his other tight round her. She slowly wraps her arms around his neck.

YUKIO
You are.

We change our view to the back of YUKIO'S head as they kiss slowly.
Fade To: Yukio's Quarters - night

YUKIO lies on his bed and stares up at the ceiling. He looks as if he's having 
trouble sleeping. A dim glow from the light outside comes from the crack left in 
the door. We focus on this and see the shadow of a MAN. It is KENSKEI.

KENSKEI (quietly)
You did well today. You have completed
Your challenge. congratulations.

YUKIO (whisper)
Thank you sir.

KENSKEI
Get some rest and forget about it now.
That part of your training is over, you
Will become a fine Templar.

YUKIO
Uncle?

KENSKEI
Yea?

YUKIO
Did you have to go through that when you trained?

KENSKEI
No but you're father did. Now get some
Rest, you have a big day tomorrow.

KENSKEIS shadow disappears and we leave YUKIO still staring at the ceiling as if 
his mind is in another place.
Cut To:

EXT. DRACONIS - NIGHT

We fade back in to see the exterior of DRACONIS. The camera passes one of the 
large wings that spread along the gigantic ship.

A shadow slides against its body in the moonlight and then disappears into the 
ship.

Cut To: CORRIDOR

We now follow the shadow along one of the many corridors inside the ship. It 
turns and continues along another corridor. It stops and enters a room. As we 
follow it even more we see BASHO lying on the bed asleep. The shadow looms over 
him for a few seconds and then with a sudden burst enters BASHOS body.

BASHO flies up above his bed and stretches out his arms and legs as if in pain. 
He twists and turns in mid - air and the clenches his chest in agony. He twists 
more and then drops to the bed. A few more seconds pass then he leaps up and 
sits there petrified.

Cut To: VISION 1

We now see images as if inside BASHOS mind. We see the stone circle and the 
DRUIDS. We watch as they burst into flames again hearing the screams. This then 
turns into an image of a town. We watch as a MAN walks through the screaming 
village and cuts down the towns people with a sword. This turns into another 
image yet again and now we see what appears to be the world's destruction as a 
wave hits the land and kills everything that stands in its path.

The images vanish and we see BASHO sitting there again who now flops back onto 
the bed still and lifeless.

Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - SHOOTING GALLERY - DAY

YUKIO and BASHO come into view. We see their backs as we zoom out. In their 
hands they hold handguns that they shoot targets with. Paper targets of torsos 
can be seen in the distance and watching them at the side is another TEMPLAR. He 
is COWBOY.

COWBOY (to Yukio)
Good aim son.

BASHO appears to be having trouble and his aim is random and poor. He loses his 
temper with it and begins to glow with his green energy. The gun flies out of 
his hand and shoots in random directions. COWBOY ducks as one narrowly misses 
his head. 

The gun hits the wall and drops to the ground. BASHO turns to walk out but is 
stopped by COWBOY'S arm.

COWBOY
Don't focus your energy on the weapon.
Focus it on your target.

COWBOY hands him the gun and BASHO moves back to the target. He stands there for 
a few seconds then lifts the gun in front of him. He keeps it still for a few 
moments and then releases the trigger. The bullet misses the target again and 
BASHO drops the gun to his side again and sighs.

COWBOY
You'll get it try again.

BASHO closes his eyes and lifts the gun up using just his left arm and tilts it 
onto its side. He shoots, reloads and shoots again. Each time he shoots he hits 
the target. COWBOY pats his back as he walks past.

COWBOY
I think your both ready for the room.

Cut To: Room

Walls placed in random positions stand around the room. On the floor and ceiling 
are black panels.

COWBOY
This is a holosuite. Here you will come across
Holographic images who will try and attack you.
They can hurt you so be careful. What you must 
Do is go through and clear the room of enemies. 
A buzzer will sound when you have completed 
this task, good luck.

He walks out of the room and moves to a screen. The door shuts behind him and 
locks. BASHO and YUKIO pick up their guns from a table by the side of them.

Suddenly from one of the walls in front of them a hole explodes through the 
middle. They both duck as shots are fired at them. The shots rebound off the 
wall behind them and one hits YUKIO in the hand.

He shakes it and yells in pain. YUKIO and BASHO look at each other and then get 
up quickly, aim fast and fire. A holographic image of a MAN jumps back as he's 
shot and YUKIO runs to the sidewall where he hides behind.

More shots are fired at BASHO who jumps to the left and rolls onto the floor. He 
lifts his gun as he lies on the floor, aims and shoots two more men who fall to 
the ground.

YUKIO, still being shot at points his gun round the corner of the wall and fires 
in random places. He hits one MAN but misses the other two. Everything goes 
quiet and the shooting stops. BASHO looks at YUKIO who shrugs. 

BASHO gets up and peeps round to see nothing there. He walks out slowly and 
gingerly, keeping his gun down ready to fire. Suddenly from out of nowhere 
another image appears with a machine gun and begins to fire at BASHO. YUKIO 
fires back but misses and hits the wall behind him. BASHO runs and then jumps 
through the hole in the wall. He lands, rolls and gets up. He shoots two more 
men, turns around and just as the MAN with the machine gun turns he shoots him 
too.

The buzzer sounds and fills the room. A door on the far side of the room slides 
open. YUKIO and BASHO get up, put their guns onto a table by the door and walk 
out where they are met by COWBOY.

COWBOY
You did well boys.

YUKIO (looks at his hand)
Nothing to it.

COWBOY moves his hand over YUKIO'S and the wound disappears. 

COWBOY
Go wash up. 

Cut To: CORRIDOR

YUKIO and BASHO walk down a corridor side by side. BASHO stops suddenly and then 
YUKIO stops a little in front and turns.

BASHO
I need to speak to you.

YUKIO
Me? Why me?

BASHO
I feel close to you. Closer than I've ever
Felt about anyone.

YUKIO
You mean like a link of some kind?

BASHO
Ever since you started this have you been
Getting visions?

YUKIO
No why?

They begin walking again.

BASHO
Last night I think I had one. I saw a
Stone circle. Druids were chanting and
Then they were all murdered.

YUKIO
Probably just a dream, ignore it.
Cut To:

INT. DRACONIS - DAY

We enter this scene on a bowl. It sits there on a green tray. A large wooden 
spoon comes in from the side full of some kind of salted porridge. This 
substance is called Utyuk**. It sloshes around the brown bowl for a few seconds 
making a noise like someone is throwing up inside a tin can before sitting there 
dead.

Cut to: SATORI

SATORI looks down at his bowl of Utyuk, porridge like substance that wobbles. We 
see his face grimace at the substance. He looks up at the chef who stands there 
with his wooden spoon smiling as if saying 'ha, I don't have to eat this.'

SATORI
OH WHAT NOT UTYUK!

UTYUK
Utyuk Utyuk.

SATORI
Oh, it's... it's... Utyuk. Why do you
Torture us with this?

CHEF (laughing)
Bon Apetit Satori.
(down at the bowl)
HEY UTYUK?

UTYUK
Utyuk?

CHEF (laughing)
BE GOOD FOR SATORI NOW.

UTYUK
Utyuk Utyuk.

SATORI begins to feel sick as he walks off as we now see BASHO standing ready 
with his bowl. He sees the Utyuk hit his bowl and slosh around, as it tends to 
do.

BASHO
Mmm, Utyuk, you know one of
These days this is gonna' invent
The wheel.

CHEF
I'm thinkin' of breedin' this batch.

BASHO heads for SATORIS direction laughing. We follow them as they go and sit at 
one of the many free tables. We pan - round to find the door. It opens and YUKIO 
walks in half asleep. He picks up a tray and heads for the Utyuk. He collects 
his helping and walks over to the table.

BASHO (to Satori)
Morning.

YUKIO
Utyuk again?

BASHO
Yea, Satori's favourite. 
(at SATORI)
ISN'T THAT RIGHT SATORI?

UTYUK
Utyuk Utyuk

SATORI runs off, hand up against his mouth as the other two laugh. BASHO stops 
laughing and turns back to YUKIO who begins to sit down opposite him.

BASHO
And where's the lovely Miko this
Fine morning?

YUKIO (rubbing an eye)
I don't know.

BASHO
That's odd; she's usually here waiting for you.

YUKIO
Not today.

BASHO sits there prodding his bowl of UTYUK with his spoon. He slides it in and 
begins to hear a fizz coming from the bowl. He lifts his spoon out and watches 
the end as it dissolves in front of him.

BASHO
Hmm, I think it's just discovered democracy.

SATORI returns and looks at BASHOS bowl of UTYUK as it bubbles away to itself. 
He looks disgusted in it and the UTYUK jumps out of the bowl and hits SATORIS 
face like a face hugger from the ALIEN movies.

SATORIS screams are muffled as he struggles to get the UTYUK back into the bowl. 
BASHO grabs it, throws it into the air, jumps onto the table and kicks the 
porridge like substance away. It flies to the other side of the room and into an 
old fashioned looking stove. He runs up to it and locks the door on it before it 
can crawl out. A faint humming is heard and BASHOS face turns into one of panic. 
The noise gets louder and is accompanied by a clunk as the side of the stove 
forms a dent sticking out.

BASHO
EVERYONE DUCK!

UTYUK
UTYUUUUUUUUKKKK!

The cooker explodes and fills the room with a cloud of grey smoke. Once this 
clears we see BASHO edging towards the mess left. He reaches in and pulls out 
this large inflated black substance. He tips it and looks at it thoughtfully, 
then prods it slightly.

UTYUK (deep voice)
UTYUK!

He walks up to the counter and hands this new improved UTYUK to the CHEF. He 
looks at BASHO and laughs then drops the UTYUK into the bin behind the counter.

BASHO
Best place for it I think.

He sits back down and looks around the room. We hear the door creak and MIKO 
walks through. She notices the UTYUK from another TEMPLARS bowl and decides to 
bypass the counter and instead walks straight up to YUKIO and BASHO, she then 
notices the mess made from the disaster. They notice her walking towards them 
but carry on talking.

YUKIO
What you so happy about anyway?

BASHO
Just happy I guess.

MIKO
Hey guys.

BASHO
Ladies and gentlemen I give you
The lovely and unique Miko.

MIKO
Yes, and I love you too, but what happened
To cute?

BASHO
Damn, knew I forgot somethin'. (smiles)

MIKO
War hit the kitchen?

YUKIO
Basho had a little bit of a run in
With our friend Utyuk here.

MIKO laughs then turns to YUKIO, kisses him, smiles and then sits on his lap. He 
wraps his arms around her and she places hers over his. SATORI and BASHO stare 
at them gob smacked. Another bowl full of UTYUK is then passed to him.

BASHO
Did I miss something?

YUKIO
Depends what your on about.

BASHO
You two suddenly all over each other?

MIKO (smiles)
Not really.

BASHO
Well you two look cosy, I think
I'll leave you two alone. COME ALONG
UTYUK!

UTYUK
Utyuk

He picks up his tray and walks over to join some other TEMPLARS. SATORI gets up 
and storms out knowing his chances are gone. MIKO gets up and sits down next to 
YUKIO and puts his hands into hers.

MIKO
You seem to be in a better mood.

YUKIO
It's early yet.

MIKO (smiles)
Ha ha.

She kisses him then takes a look at the Utyuk, which begins to bubble in the 
bowl. She moves her nose in a quick disgusted motion and turns back to YUKIO.

MIKO
You're not seriously thinkin' about
Eating that are you?

YUKIO
Of course, I love the taste of wallpaper
Paste in the morning.

MIA (v.o)

They walk out of the room and BASHO follows close behind.

From the corner of the hall SATORI watches the others leave. Anger fills his 
face as he stares at YUKIO.

SATORI
Soon you will all know my power. All that
You love and care for will be mine.

Cut To: TSUMETAS QUARTERS

BASHO and YUKIO walk in to find TSUMETA and KENSKEI standing at the far side of 
a long table, which stretches most of the length of the room.

TSUMETA
Ahh, gentlemen. It appears we are
In need of your services.

YUKIO/BASHO
Yes sir.

KENSKEI
We have a bit of a dilemma. It appears last
Night strange occurrences happened around
The Stones.

He clicks a button on the table and a screen appears in the centre of it.

Cut To: SCREEN

We now see an image of the stone circle. Lightning flashes and hits each one of 
the stones consecutively. Red energy falls from the sky and hits the centre 
stone. A big flash hits the camera and knocks it out for a few seconds then as 
it clears we see a black shadow fly out of the centre stone. It flies around and 
stops dead in front of the camera. It then hits it and the picture is knocked 
out once more.

Cut To: ROOM

The screen disappears into the table and TSUMETA moves round to a board on the 
wall.

TSUMETA
I want you two to go to the Stones and
Try to find out what happened. We need to
Know if this forms some kind of threat.

YUKIO
Wouldn't it be better to send a fully trained
Officer on a scouting mission such as this?

KENSKEI
I don't think it will be any problem.
Be good for your training.

TSUMETA
Unless... 
...no it can't be.

BASHO
Can't be what sir?

KENSKEI
Never mind. You take off at 1300 hours.

YUKIO/BASHO
Yes sir.

They salute then walk out of the room. Through the door we see that they are met 
by MIKO as they walk off down the corridor. We return now to the other two in 
the room.

TSUMETA
Does Basho know anything yet?

KENSKEI
No, not yet. I haven't found any need
To tell him. We haven't needed him
Yet have we.

TSUMETA
We may need him now. Could this be it?

KENSKEI
Possibly, lets just pray it isn't.
He isn't ready to know the truth.

INT. DRACONIS - WYVERN BAY - DAY

The doors open to the large bay, which holds the one - man cruisers. MIKO, YUKIO 
and BASHO walk through, BASHO and YUKIO have changed into their flight suits 
ready for take - off and MIKO has come to send them off on their ways.

YUKIO and MIKO stop beside YUKIOS cruiser as BASHO goes off to his to prepare. 
YUKIO begins to prepare and puts his helmet inside the cockpit. He faces MIKO 
who wraps her arms around him and kisses him softly.

MIKO
You come back in one piece and be
Careful ok.

YUKIO
I'm only goin' on a research mission.

MIKO
Yea, but still
(she smiles, kisses him again then turns to BASHO)
You take care of him.

BASHO
Of course your highness.

He bows and she laughs. She backs away as they get into their WYVERNS. She walks 
to the safe point behind the yellow lines that lay around the bay at the edges 
of the room. The cruisers pull away from their set positions and first BASHO 
takes off through the air lock at the opposite end of the room and then finally 
YUKIO does the same. MIKO walks through the doors as we...

INT. DRACONIS - KENSKEIS QUARTERS - DAY

We now find KENSKEI sitting at a desk. It is fairly dark in his room and it is 
only lit by candlelight. He turns over a page of an ancient manuscript and 
thumbs through the page. 

We now close in on him and also see the ancient language written on the page. 
KENSKEIS eyes widen as he reads the page. He lifts his head, gets up and walks 
over to a wall on the opposite side. Here a small device stands on the wall. It 
is a COM. He clicks the button and speaks into it.

KENSKEI (into COM)
Tsumeta?

TSUMETA (v.o)
Yes I'm here. Have you found anything?

KENSKEI
Yes, could you patch into Draconis and find
All the material on document 313.

TSUMETA (v.o)
Certainly. Why?

KENSKEI
Just a hunch.

Cut To: TSUMETAS QUARTERS.

TSUMETA moves away from the COM and goes over to a screen on another wall. We 
see him in a finely furnished but still badly lit room.

TSUMETA
Draconis?

DRACONIS (v.o)
YES TSUMETA?

TSUMETA
Could you give me all information on
Document 313 please and patch it through
To the screen?

DRACONIS (v.o)
CERTAINLY TSUMETA. PATCHING THROUGH NOW
SIR.

TSUMETA
Thank you Draconis.

The screen flashes on and begins to play a video clip on the wall. It is a 
reconstruction of the MAN.

Cut To: VIDEO CLIP.

We watch with TSUMETA as DRACONIS narrates the reconstructed footage. We see the 
MAN tied down to a wooden crucifix. DRUIDS stand around him and another MAN, 
tall, wearing a grey robe and with white hair comes into view and begins to read 
something from the manuscript that looks identical to the one KENSKEI was 
reading.

DRACONIS (v.o)
THEY CALLED HIM NICOLAI, IN THE ANCIENT
LANGUAGE THIS MEANT THE BRINGER OF DEATH. THE
DRUIDS OF THE SACRED STONES RESSURECTED HIM ONCE
BY MISTAKE AND WERE KILLED FOR DOING SO.
HE WAS CLAIMED TO BE IMMORTAL. HERE SHOWS THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF THE BANISHMENT OF HIS SOUL. IT
IS SAID THAT ONLY THE BEHOLDER CAN DEFEAT HIM BUT
AT A TIME OF GREAT POWER HE WILL RETURN TO RID
THE WORLD OF THE HUMAN RACE.

We watch as the DRUIDS drive a spear through NICOLAI's heart and as he screams 
in pain we hear a low chant in an ancient language. In a flash of red light his 
body vanishes and is replaced by two balls of red energy, which then turns into 
a black shadow much like the one that entered BASHOS body and then sinks down 
into the crucifix.

DRACONIS (v.o) (possessed)
ALL BE WARNED, THE EVIL ONE WILL RETURN.
ON THE NIGHT OF THE DRAGONS EYE THE EVIL
WILL POSSESS THE ONE CALLED THE BEHOLDER. 
ONLY HE CAN STOP THE EVIL.

The screen goes blank as we zoom - out to see TSUMETA and the screen. BASHOS 
profile appears on the screen as we...

Fade Out.

EXT. THE STONES - DAY

The camera spins round the stone circle that now enters our view. As the camera 
lifts we see the two WYVERN cruisers setting down on the ground to land. They 
land inside the stone circle at either side of the centre stone. The plants are 
overgrown and everything around looks abandoned or burnt.

CAPTION: THE STONES

YUKIO and BASHO exit their cruisers and walk around the stone circle together. 
Nothing looks unusual or damaged. It looks like nothing has been touched in a 
few thousand years.

YUKIO
Well this was a waste of time.

BASHO
This was the place in my vision.

YUKIO
You saw this pit of depression? You need to
Get out more.

BASHO
What're we supposed to be looking
For anyway?

YUKIO
Some kind of strange disturbances I presume.
It's always the same, I'm gonna' start refusing
To do research missions.

BASHO stops walking as YUKIO carries on mumbling to himself. BASHO clenches his 
chest as if in agony. He drops to his knees as begins to glow with a strange red 
energy. YUKIO turns to see where he has got to and rushes to help him. BASHO 
stands with YUKIOS help.

YUKIO
You alright?

BASHO
Fine, probably somethin' I ate.

YUKIO (laughing)
I knew eating that Utyuk was a bad idea.

BASHO looks up at YUKIO. He has a red glow in his eyes and an evil grin on his 
face. YUKIO looks suddenly afraid as if he's seen this before.

YUKIO (whispers)
No.

We see inside YUKIO'S mind and see his father leaving. He vanishes. He now sees 
his mother crying at the dining table.

BASHO pushes him off and throws a green ball of energy at him knocking him to 
the ground.

YUKIO (in pain)
No, Basho, stop. What are you doing?

BASHO (possessed and tilting his head slightly to the left)
I'm getting rid of a small problem.

He laughs manically and grins again. YUKIO runs towards him and is hit by BASHOS 
fist. YUKIO grabs BASHO's hands and as BASHO struggles YUKIO begins to glow with 
green energy. It spreads to BASHO'S body and he stops struggling. BASHO breaks 
YUKIOS grip and then thrusts backwards as if just hit by some force. He drops to 
his knees again and screams.

BASHO (quietly)
Yukio help me.

YUKIO runs towards him and picks him up. He carries him back into his WYVERN and 
they take off leaving the other cruiser down on the ground.

BASHO lies in the back on the floor of the WYVERN as YUKIO pilots it.

YUKIO
What the hell was that?

BASHO (in pain)
I don't know but get me to a medi-ward quick.

The WYVERN flies off into the distance at great speed as we...

Cut To: DRACONIS - INFIRMARY

We now see BASHO sitting on a bed in the infirmary. His shirt is off and he is 
being checked by one of the DOCTORS.

DOCTOR #1
Well I don't see that there's anything wrong.

YUKIO
Could it of been something he ate?

BASHO
Look, I'm fine, really.

DOCTOR #1
Yes it could well be but I'd like to
Give him a check up just to be sure.

TSUMETA walks in and then up to BASHO's bedside.

TSUMETA
Could I possibly have a word with Basho
Alone?

The others walk out of the room and TSUMETA sits down on the end of the bed.

TSUMETA
I know what's just happened.

BASHO
Well, at least someone knows what the
Hells goin' on.

TSUMETA
I also know that you're in grave danger.

BASHO
Not the first time, doubt it'll be the last.

TSUMETA
I'm about to tell you something that you'll 
Find hard to believe. You probably won't 
Believe me.

BASHO
Sir, I don't think you'd lie to me.

TSUMETA (he hands him a portable computer)
Nicholai was his name. You have probably
Been seeing visions, if not you will. He was
The bringer of death, he destroyed towns, villages,
Even countries. What you see in front of you is
The banishment. He was immortal and it was said that
Only one could destroy him. He was known as the
Beholder. On the night of the Dragons eye the

BASHO looks at the screen and realises he has seen this all before. 

BASHO
I'm the Beholder, aren't I?

TSUMETA (faces BASHO)
Yes. He has possessed you're body and
Is awaiting for his powers to return.

BASHO
Well, get him out, do somethin'.

TSUMETA
I can't. None of us can, you must do that
On your own. Only you know how.

BASHO
What happens to me when he does come out?

TSUMETA
Quite possibly you'll die.

BASHO looks back at TSUMETA shocked. He jumps off the bed and walks towards the 
door.

TSUMETA
Basho?

BASHO (turns round)
What?

TSUMETA
Be careful.

BASHO looks at him for a few more seconds then turns and walks out again. 
TSUMETA sits on the bed as KENSKEI walks in.

KENSKEI
How did he take it?

TSUMETA
I don't know. I think we're too late.

Cut To: BASHOS QUARTERS

BASHO lies on his bed staring up at the ceiling. We see a faded image of the 
banishment of NICHOLAI and then here him inside BASHOS mind.

NICHOLAI (v.o/echoed)
Give in to me Basho.

He leaps up out of bed sweat pouring down his face. He walks over to the 
bathroom and swills his face with water from the sink.

Fade Out.

EXT. MONASTERY - DAY

DRACONIS flies round one of the large towers. It comes into land just by it on 
the landing bay. Two large black doors open at the side of the tower.
Cut To: DRACONIS - BRIDGE

TSUMETA, KENSKEI, BASHO and YUKIO walk along the back of the bridge. YUKIO does 
up his belt in a mad rush. They walk out and into a corridor that turns left.

CAPTION: VOX MONASTERY

Through a door at the side MIKO runs out. YUKIO takes her hand and they walk 
further down the corridor and through another door that leads into another 
corridor that turns right. They walk up to a door and wait for a few seconds 
until it opens up into an elevator. Inside we see SATORI.

MIKO
What's happening?

KENSKEI
We landed at the Monastery last night.
It's time for you to know you're true
Potential.

TSUMETA
Satori, Yukio and Miko will follow me into
The Monastery. Basho you will go with Kenskei.

BASHO
Yes sir.

INT. MONASTERY - DAY

YUKIO sits on a black chair that's positioned in the centre of the room. DOCTORS 
surround him in random places at various consoles. One turns from a table and 
walks up to him. He holds in his hand a small device that looks a lot like an 
electric razor. He presses the button and a stream of white energy flows from 
the top.

DOCTOR
Now don't worry Yukio, you won't feel a
Thing. We're just gonna inject you with 
The dragon D.N.A.

YUKIO nods in acknowledgement as the DOCTOR sits by his side and holds the 
device up to the scar on his left eye. The stream of energy hits it and then 
disappears.

The DOCTOR moves the device away and gets up to put it back on the table. We 
focus on YUKIO'S scar that now glows white. It slowly fades away and returns to 
its original purple.

DOCTOR
Please send in Miss Takagi on your way
Out.

YUKIO gets up out of the chair and walks out as we...
Cut To: DRACONIS - KENSKEI'S QUARTERS

BASHO sits on a mat just opposite KENSKEI, their legs crossed under them. They 
stare at each other focusing all their concentration into their eyes.

BASHO (psychically)
Why am I not needed for this part of the
Training?

KENSKEI (psychically)
Your friends are being injected with the 
Dragon D.N.A they need to continue with when
Focusing their energies. You already have
That and so you don't need to be there.

BASHO (psychically)
Why do I already have it?

KENSKEI (psychically)
You were given it at birth.

BASHO (looks questioningly)
What happened to my parents?

KENSKEI
They died in the great wars.

BASHO
So why do I feel a closeness to Yukio?

KENSKEI
It seems you are ready to know.

Cut To: TOMORAY ISLE - DAY

The CADETS stand to attention in a line. WANG stands opposite them with his eyes 
closed. SATORI looks over to BASHO questioningly and BASHO just shrugs.

CAPTION: TOMORAY ISLE - OUTER RIM

WANG
Shhh.

The CADETS freeze completely shocked by WANG knowing what was going on even 
though he had his eyes closed.

WANG
Close your eyes.

The CADETS obediently close their eyes slowly. WANG breathes deeply in then out 
repeatedly.

WANG
Take deep bweaths. Welax and focus all
You're inner stwenths.

Again, the CADETS obediently do as they are told and WANG opens his eyes to 
watch. Each of the CADETS glows faintly with the colours of their psychic 
energy. He smiles.

WANG
Good, you are harnessing your new found
Energies.

YUKIO and BASHO both smile.

BASHO (psychically)
Can you hear me?

YUKIO (psychically)
Loud and clear, how are we doing this?

BASHO (psychically)
I think it has something to do with the
D.N.A, somehow it makes us telekinetic.

YUKIO (psychically)
This could become very useful. Do the others
Have it?

BASHO (psychically)
I don't know try.

YUKIO (psychically)
Miko can you hear me?

BASHO (psychically)
Any answer?

YUKIO
No. I don't think anyone else does.

BASHO (psychically)
I know Kenskei and your father have it.

YUKIO (psychically)
How do you know that?

BASHO (psychically)
I have to tell you something.

YUKIO (psychically)
What?

BASHO (psychically)
Kenskei told me about my past earlier.

YUKIO (psychically)
I thought you already knew that.

BASHO (psychically)
It isn't true. My parents never died in the
Great wars.

YUKIO (psychically)
So what happened?

BASHO (psychically)
I'll tell you tonight.

WANG watches BASHO and YUKIO. He has overheard the conversation.
Cut To: DRACONIS - KENSKEI'S QUARTERS

WANG walks in and stands behind KENSKEI who sits at his desk reading old 
parchment. He faintly flashes with gold psychic energy noticing WANGS presence.

WANG
Do you think its wise you tell Basho at
This stage?

KENSKEI
He needs to know, he may be in danger.

WANG
And what if he is? The expewiment was a
Complete mistake anyway.

KENSKEI
You designed and created the machine.

WANG
Yes and now we may just have weleased the one
Thing that can kill us all.

KENSKEI
Basho has the power to stop it.

WANG
And what if he doesn't?

KENSKEI
Then we are doomed.
Fade Out.

EXT. NASBETH - STREETS - DAY

 Just by the Tomoray Isle is a small town called Nasbeth. We join SATORI as he 
walks down a street. A line of market stalls selling various items stand on the 
left side of the street with the various merchants shouting random things to 
sell the items they have.

CAPTION: NASBETH - OUTER RIM

SATORI goes through an alley and into a cheese shop. We watch through the window 
as he buys some of the fine cheeses sold here. We also notice a shadow walking 
slowly past the window. It stops and watches with us. SATORI picks up his items 
and walks out of the shop. The shadow darts off to the right and out of view.

SATORI begins to walk back down the street now carrying his bag of cheeses. We 
notice a shadow following him again and spin round to see a close - up of a pair 
of black trouser legs.

The camera moves up to see a shifty looking MIME. It follows SATORI whilst 
pulling an imaginary piece of rope, which seems to be attached to SATORI as he 
walks. 

SATORI stops. The MIME continues and SATORI spins round. The MIME stops and 
moves his hands around as if trapped in a sudden movement. SATORI looks 
thoughtfully then turns and begins to walk away again where the MIME starts to 
pull on his imaginary rope again as if stalking the TERMPLAR.

We get further down the street and notice the stalker is still following SATORI. 
He stops and turns round again and just like before the MIME carries on with his 
own business.

SATORI (walking up to the MIME)
Hmm... Are you following me?

The MIME looks at him innocently and moves his hands as if to say 'me sir, no'. 
SATORI looks at him with a suspicion to say otherwise but he turns and continues 
to walk off.

Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - ENGINEERING BAY - NIGHT

The room is dark and the only light is coming from a door on the bottom floor, 
which has just opened. SATORI walks through with his bag of cheese.

He hears a clatter in the shadows and a metal cylinder rolls into view. Curious 
SATORI walks over to take a look. He notices BASHO. He is bent over and looks as 
if he's planting something in the ground.

SATORI
Hey Basho, what you up to?

BASHO quickly turns around. An angry face is produced on his face and he throws 
a red bolt of energy at SATORI who ducks. Scared suddenly he spins round and 
starts to run. He slips over some strange green slime that is running along the 
floor. He looks at it and is nearly hit by another bolt. He gets up and runs out 
of the room. BASHO turns back round and carries on with his job.

Cut To: YUKIOS QUARTERS

SATORI skids round the corner of a corridor and turns to run for a door in 
another. He bangs on the door for YUKIOS quarters. There's no answer. He bangs 
again and finally the doors open with YUKIO standing there in just his boxer 
shorts half asleep.

YUKIO
What is it?

SATORI (panting and frightened)
B...B...Basho just tried to...to... kill me.

YUKIO
Oh no, not again. Show me.

He walks out of his room shutting the door behind him and follows SATORI as they 
head down the corridor where he had ran from.

They enter the engineering bay but find the place as normal. There is no green 
slime lying on the floor, no slip mark made by SATORI and no BASHO.

YUKIO
Ha ha, nice one Satori. Go
Get some sleep.

SATORI
Really he was, he was right over there.

YUKIO
Then where is he now?

SATORI
I don't know.

YUKIO
Get some sleep. I'll see ya' in the mornin'.

He turns away and walks out leaving SATORI alone. We follow YUKIO as he turns 
down for his quarters but instead of going in he heads for BASHOS. He opens the 
door to his quarters and sneaks in to check on him. BASHO lies there sleeping. 
YUKIO smiles and then closes the door. He heads back to his own room and goes 
in.

Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - ENGINE ROOM - NIGHT

In a dim light coming from the main console BASHO kneels down. He takes off the 
cover and pulls out some of the wires inside.

BASHO takes out a knife from his back pocket and cuts one of the wires. He takes 
another and rips it out of the console and ties it to one of the cut ends. The 
lights flicker in the room and then go back to normal.

An ENGINEER walks in from behind and stands blocking the view.

ENGINEER
What are you doing here?

BASHO (stands up) (possessed)
Nothing that concerns you yet.

ENGINEER
Your not even supposed to be down here.
I'm sending for Inspector Kenskei.

He runs out of the room and BASHO goes back down to finish his job.

From within the shadows behind him we see two pairs of red eyes. We see two 
shadowy bodies of two DAEMONS. They watch BASHO as he carries on changing 
switches and wires on a board in the console.

DAEMON #1
Everything seems to be going to plan.

DAEMON #2
Lets hope this works.

The doors open again and KENSKEI and the ENGINEER walk back inside. The ENGINEER 
points at BASHO and turns to KENSKEI as he watches what BASHO is doing.

ENGINEER
I caught him down here messing with the 
Mainframe.

KENSKEI
What authority do you have here Basho?

BASHO (turns and stands to attention)
I was sent here by Chief Oritiko sir.

ENGINEER
That's not what he said to me.

BASHO
He said he had a job that was to my 
capabilities.

KENSKEI
And what was that job?

BASHO
To realign the mainframe to the system
Matrix. This should give the ship up to at
Least sai 10 of increased power.

KENSKEI
Good Basho, carry on.

ENGINEER
You just gonna leave it at that?

KENSKEI
I believe cadet Nasarugi has the potential
To do his job, nothing here seems to be out
Of line.

He winks at BASHO and walks out. The ENGINEER follows closely behind. In the 
background the DAEMONS continue to watch as BASHO goes back to his job.

DAEMON #2
What is he doing? He's giving them an
Advantage.

DAEMON #1
No give him time.

BASHO lifts his head to listen. He gets up and turns towards the DAEMONS 
standing in the shadows behind.

BASHO (possessed)
Actually you'll find I've just given
Us the advantage.

DAEMON #2
What you mean sire?

BASHO
When they try to use the sai releaser
The systems matrix will overload and rip
The ship apart.

We close - in on his face as he produces the evil smile.
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - BANQUET HALL - DAY

YUKIO, MIKO and SATORI are found sitting at one of the tables. BASHO enters the 
room half asleep just as YUKIO did the other morning. The group turn and notice 
him. He grabs a mug of coffee and sits with them.

He drinks his coffee and we watch as the others just stare at him curiously. He 
looks back.

BASHO
What?

YUKIO
Nothin', where were you last night?

BASHO
In bed Sleeping, why?

YUKIO
No reason, Satori reckons you tried to
Kill him.

BASHO laughs out loud.

BASHO
He knows I'd never do that no matter how
Annoyin' he can get.

The others laugh and SATORI sniggers then walks off out the hall. The others 
watch him leave then MIKO and YUKIO go onto their mindless chatter, BASHO 
carries on drinking his coffee.

YUKIO
...And I gather you enjoyed yourself.

MIKO
Of course, thanks to you.

BASHO
Oh cut it out please.

The other two laugh as BASHO sticks his tongue out at them. WANG walks by 
scratching his bold head. He turns to the group at the table.

WANG
Have any of you seen a piece of celewy
Abouts anywhere?

YUKIO
No sir, sorry.

He walks off and the others look at him as he does so. They giggle slightly and 
then turn back to what they were doing. Suddenly they hear a loud scream coming 
from one of the female CADETS at the other side of the hall.

She is staring down at the back of the coffee machine. She points and curls into 
another TEMPLARS arms. YUKIO, MIKO and BASHO get up and walk across to see.

They pull the coffee machine out and a body of a dead CADET falls down and 
spreads across the floor, blood running from his chest a hole where his heart is 
supposed to be. MIKO curls into YUKIOS arms as BASHO bends down to get a closer 
look.

Cut To: CORRIDOR

BASHO, MIKO and YUKIO walk down the corridor talking to each other about the 
body.

BASHO
What could've done somethin' like that?

YUKIO
Beats me.

They pass a hole in a wall on the left side of the corridor. It is twice as big 
as YUKIO and BASHO put together. A mist is forming on the floor. BASHO looks in 
and forms a green glow on his hand to bring some light into the room on the 
other side of the hole. He hears breathing inside. He looks around and sees a 
body. It falls down on him and he jumps back. The body falls out of the hole.

MIKO
Is that Oritiko?

YUKIO (bends down to inspect the body)
It was.

BASHO gathers himself back together and looks back into the hole. He looks back 
to the right and hears the breathing get heavier.

A green DAEMON jumps out and knocks BASHO over. It gets back up and runs down 
the corridor where it leaves a trail of green blood. It slows and then drops to 
the ground dead. YUKIO and BASHO walk up to it and turn it over. They look at it 
curiously as MIKO walks over.

MIKO
Somethin' really strange is goin' on.

YUKIO
Yes it is.

He looks at BASHO who looks back innocently.

Cut To: RESEARCH LABS

The DAEMON lies on an operating table as scientists study its features. YUKIO 
and BASHO stand back from the crowd and watch as they perform tests on it.

YUKIO
What really happened last night?

BASHO
Nothing, I told you I went to bed like
Usual, why? Do you think this has 
Connection with the other day?

YUKIO
Well, yes. Strange things have started to happen
Since you became weird, what's goin' on?

BASHO (looking innocently)
I don't know it has nothing to do with me.

YUKIO
I think it has, what happened the other day?

BASHO
Ok I'll tell you what's goin' on. 
(he sighs)
It appears I'm possessed by a being called
Nicholai. He has invaded my body because
I am what is known as the Beholder, the only one
Who can defeat this being. He has possessed me
Because he is using my strength to
Become strong again. I'm the only one who can
Help him ok?

YUKIO
Well stop it before someone gets hurt.

BASHO
I can't, I don't know how.

Fade Out.

EXT. BASHOS MIND - NIGHTMARE SEQUENCE

We follow BASHO as he walks along a dark black path. Nothing can be seen around 
him except for a red light in front of him. He walks up to it and looks at the 
light coming from above. Suddenly he's thrown back and he lands on the floor. He 
doesn't take his eyes off the light as NICOLAI appears from above in the red 
glow. He smiles evilly at BASHO who smiles back. He then jumps into BASHO's body 
and BASHO floats into the air. He twists and turns and begins to scream out loud 
as if in pain. He then thrusts and his body drops to the ground lifeless. He 
gets up and finds that he is now dressed as NICOLAI was in the black uniform and 
cloak. 

He turns and finds YUKIO standing there. He grabs hold of BASHO and tries to 
pull him away from whatever danger he sees. BASHO turns around to see what YUKIO 
is so frightened of but sees nothing there. He turns and instead of seeing 
BASHOS face we now see NICOLAIS. YUKIO looks at him frightened. He takes a few 
steps back and then jolts as BASHO thrusts a sword through his chest. He looks 
down at the sword and places his hands over it. Seeing the blood he looks back 
at BASHO as if to ask why. BASHO pushes him backwards and he falls to the floor 
dead. He laughs then looks down and sees YUKIO lying there. His clothes change 
and he drops to his knees in front of YUKIO screaming.

Cut To: BASHOS QUARTERS

BASHO jolts up out of bed screaming, sweat is pouring down his face again. YUKIO 
rushes in to find him sitting upright and panting. YUKIO sits by him on his bed 
and wraps his arms around him. BASHO looks into YUKIOS eyes and then hugs him. 
He bends out of the hug and closes his eyes.

YUKIO backs off scared at what is happening. BASHO floats above his bed. He 
twists and turns above it as he floats a few inches above the covers. We spin 
round to see his back, as his skin is ripped apart. He begins to smile as four 
wings spread out and grow from the inside of his body. They spread out and YUKIO 
watches in amazement, as he becomes a TEMPLAR.

BASHO drops back onto the bed and opens his eyes. He gets up and looks at YUKIO. 
As he smiles he looks at his wings as they curl around him and he glows with 
green psychic energy.

YUKIO
It's happened. It's finally happened.

BASHO
This is just amazing. There's one more thing
I need to do.

YUKIO (curiously)
What's that?

BASHO picks up his pillow and takes out a knife. He walks over to YUKIO and cuts 
his hand across with the knife. He then cuts YUKIOS the same length and puts 
them together.

BASHO
My blood, your blood.

YUKIO (smiling)
Brothers.

BASHO (smiling back)
Brothers.

They take their hands away and we notice that they have already healed. They 
look at the scars and smile to each other.

Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - ENGINE ROOM - NIGHT

A door opens. Light pours in from the corridor outside but the rest of the room 
is pitch black. BASHO walks in slowly. He turns right and his eyes, glowing red 
flash past the camera's view.

He looks around and then turns his head to the left. We can hear breathing from 
within the shadows. It is heavy and slow.

BASHO (possessed)
Where are you?

BASHO flicks a switch on the wall and light fills the room. From the rear left 
corner a DAEMON steps out.

BASHO
Is everything ready for the invasion?

DAEMON
The gateway will be opened upon arrival.

BASHO
Good. Soon my friend, we will have our 
Armageddon.

DAEMON
Yes sire.

BASHO
Prepare the warriors. We attack tonight.

The DAEMON nods and then vanishes in a flash of red energy. BASHO drops to his 
knees weakened. He clutches his stomach and screams in agony.

His breathing gets heavier as he returns to normal and then gets back up just as 
YUKIO runs into view.

YUKIO
You ok?

BASHO (stays in the shadows, back turned to YUKIO)
Fine.
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - ENGINEERING BAY - NIGHT

A thick mist has formed along the bottom level of the bay. Green eggs are 
growing around the place and we begin to hear a cracking noise. We pan round the 
room and notice some of the eggs are hatching. DAEMONS stand around the room 
freshly hatched just like the dead one from earlier.

Some begin to lay more eggs whilst others crash through the walls of the 
engineering bay. We hear roars around the room as they disappear into other 
parts of the ship.

Fade Out.

EXT. TOMORAY ISLE - NIGHT

The moon is full, low and bright in the night's sky. YUKIO and MIKO sit on a 
wooden fence staring up at the stars. She moves closer to him and he wraps his 
arms tight round her waist. She leans back onto him and sighs happily.

CAPTION: TOMORAY ISLE - OUTER RIM

YUKIO
What you thinking about?

MIKO
Nothing really, just how perfect tonight
Seems.

YUKIO kisses her head and continues to cuddle her in his arms. He turns to his 
left and in mid - air a ball of purple psychic energy appears. MIKO watches as 
the ball of energy turns into a red rose. It floats towards her and she catches 
it in her hands. She smiles and blushes.
Cut To: DRACONIS - TSUMETA'S QUARTERS

TSUMETA sits at his desk looking through a pile of old papers. He turns one over 
and notices what is on the next. He picks it up, leans back in his chair and 
reads through it.

KENSKEI walks in through the door in front of his desk. He sits down opposite 
TSUMETA who puts the paper down and looks at him.

TSUMETA
It's started?

KENSKEI
Yes.

TSUMETA
Start the evacuation procedures and get
The men to their ships.

KENSKEI
Yes sir.

TSUMETA
How long do we have?

KENSKEI
It appears the gateway will be open in
Approximately four hours.

TSUMETA
We don't have a lot of time.

They both get up out of their seats and KENSKEI follows TSUMETA out of the door.

We follow them as they walk around the rear gangway of the bridge and through 
another door towards the armoury room.

KENSKEI and TSUMETA open up one of the cupboards sitting on the walls around 
them. TSUMETA picks out one of the rifles and throws it towards KENSKEI who 
catches it. TSUMETA then picks out one for himself. They both check to make sure 
they're loaded and walk back out onto the bridge.

TSUMETA
I want two officers to accompany us.

OFFICER #1
I volunteer sir.

OFFICER #2
I volunteer.

KENSKEI
Grab a rifle and follow us.

The two OFFICERS get up from their seats and run into the armoury room whilst 
KENSKEI and TSUMETA walk out into the corridor.
Cut To: TOMORAY ISLE

YUKIO and MIKO walk along a stone path. The moon in full can be seen in the 
background as they walk hand in hand.

A ball of energy hits the fence just behind YUKIO. They both duck as a swarm of 
DAEMONS attack. They charge at them shooting red energy at them. MIKO dives to 
the left as YUKIO dives over the fence on his right. As he does so the fence 
explodes in a mass of energy.

YUKIO
Run!

MIKO
I'm not leaving you!

YUKIO
Just do it!

He glows with purple psychic energy, jumps out of cover and fires at the 
DAEMONS. He hits one but the others charge at him and fire back.

MIKO dives out the way of another ball of energy that hits a tree behind her. 
She loses her balance whilst landing and rolls down a hill. She comes to a halt 
at the bottom and lies on her back panting for breath. DAEMONS surround her. She 
gets up to a sitting position and the DAEMONS then pick her up by the arms and 
carry her off out of view.

YUKIO hides behind a tree as DAEMONS shoot at him. He turns and just before he 
can fire back they fire again. He takes cover quickly before the energy can hit 
him.

He turns again and a DAEMON jumps down from the top of the tree. It slashes his 
right arm. YUKIO winces in pain as a large fist comes up and hits him across the 
face. He stumbles back and the DAEMON charges. He gains his balance back and 
quickly fires at the DAEMONS feet. The force of the bolt throws the DAEMON back 
into three others who land under it in a crumpled heap.

YUKIO makes a run for it. He runs along the path as DAEMONS fire at him, energy 
just missing him, hitting his last steps. He stops as one hits the ground in 
just in front and then leaps forward and over the explosion as another hits the 
ground just where he stood. He fires back and hits another blowing it into 
oblivion.

A WYVERN floats down in front of him and the rear door opens down. TSUMETA 
stands inside. He fires his rifle at the chasing DAEMONS who fly back into 
others as the energy hits them. YUKIO jumps into the WYVERN. His father catches 
his hand and pulls him to safety as the cruiser flies off leaving the DAEMONS.
Cut To: WYVERN - INTERIOR

YUKIO lies on the floor panting for breath. The rear door shuts slowly beside 
him. He suddenly jumps up remembering.

YUKIO
Miko, we left her behind. We have to go
Back.

TSUMETA
Don't worry she'll be safe.

The WYVERN flies off into the distance as we...
Cut To:

INT. DRACONIS - WYVERN BAY - NIGHT

The WYVERN flies in and lands. DAEMONS surround it and fire. The doors open and 
the two OFFICERS fire back as the run out. One by one DAEMONS go down in a ball 
of energy creating a path of escape.

OFFICER #1
Quick sir.

TSUMETA
You two evacuate as soon as you can.

OFFICER #2
And what about you sir?

TSUMETA
We'll be along in a minute.

The two OFFICERS jump down the side of the ship. They drop their rifles and pull 
out swords from their backs. They charge and disappear in a crowd of DAEMONS who 
slowly get cut down.

TSUMETA, YUKIO and KENSKEI run out of the bay and through into a corridor as the 
DAEMONS focus their attention on the battle.
Cut To: DRACONIS - BRIDGE

BASHO runs through the door. Sparks fly from the ceiling above him and he ducks 
out of the way. He looks around to see OFFICERS and TEMPLARS slaughtered by the 
consoles. 

From above him a DAEMON jumps down and knocks him to the ground. BASHO gets back 
up and the DAEMON backs off recognising him. It bows down by his feet.

BASHO glows with green energy and throws a bolt at its neck. The DAEMON drops to 
the ground moaning. BASHO runs to the right and into the armoury room. 

He looks around and sees one of the cupboard doors open where four rifles are 
missing from their places. He opens a drawer underneath it and pulls out a 
broadsword. He swings it round his arm, turns and slices another DAEMONS head 
off.
Cut To: DRACONIS - ENGINE ROOM

TSUMETA, KENSKEI and YUKIO run in to find more people slaughtered. Blood sprays 
from one of the dead bodies up the wall. 

Suddenly a huge crash knocks the ship and they fall to the ground. The ship 
steadies and TSUMETA gets up.

TSUMETA
Draconis?

DRACONIS (v.o)
YES TSUMETA?

TSUMETA
What was that?

DRACONIS (v.o)
HULL BREACH ON LOWER DECKS!

TSUMETA
How many Daemons on board?

DRACONIS (v.o)
300, ALL DEAD!

TSUMETA looks at KENSKEI who gets up. YUKIO does the same.

KENSKEI
They must of left.

TSUMETA
But why?
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - BASHO'S QUARTERS - DAY

BASHO opens up a drawer in his room and grabs a case. He puts it onto his bed 
and opens it. Inside we see different kinds of weapons and a note attached to 
the lid. He opens the slip of paper and reads it.

NOTE (KENSKEI)
Only use in case of an emergency.
Good luck, Kenskei.

The door bursts open behind and YUKIO walks up, grabs BASHO and throws him 
against the wall. BASHO struggles but YUKIO pins him there.

YUKIO
What the hell is going on?

BASHO
Why you coming to me?

YUKIO
We've been attacked, some have been 
Slaughtered, our food has tried to eat us 
And this has all happened since you started
To act crazy and now I wanna know why.

BASHO
Then you'd better sit.

YUKIO sits on the bed and BASHO walks around the room.

BASHO
Others know more about me than I do. I've
Never been clear about myself until I was
Told. I always believed that I was a regular
Orphan, my parents both died on a battlefield 
And I inherited their power to be a Templar.

YUKIO
Kenskei told you different.

BASHO
Actually it started with your father.

YUKIO
What do you mean?

BASHO
When he came to see me at the medi-bay. He told
Me about a prophecy. On the night of the dragons
Eye an unspeakable evil will rise up again to
Slaughter mankind until there is none left. One
Can rid the world of evil. He is called the
Beholder. He harnesses the power to destroy the
Evil once and for all and bring balance back to
The world. His name is Nicholai. 

YUKIO
The prophecy came true?

BASHO
Yes. In order to harness power and become strong
Again it was said that Nicholai would possess
The Beholder and use his body to gain his strength.
I have him inside my body and that's why we
Are being attacked. I'm the only one who can stop him
But I don't know how.

YUKIO
What really did happen to your parents?

BASHO
I had none, well technically I did. Do you remember
When you first came to the Monastery? You and
Your father came to see Wang about your future.
You looked up at a little boy inside a tube full of
Liquid that was connected to a large machine.
You smiled and I smiled back at you.

YUKIO nods remembering that day.

BASHO
That was where I was born. Wang created that 
Machine in desperate times. He thought, as well as
Others that the day of the prophecy would come soon
And they weren't ready for it. Wang decided to
Create a being that would hopefully become the
Beholder. He used the D.N.A of the elite members
Of Vox and also Nicholai. The elite were the best
Fighters, they were made of old and new. They were
Ritoko...

YUKIO
...The first Templar?

BASHO (nods)
Wang, Kenskei, Denko, Ritoko's second in command,
And your father.

YUKIO lifts his head and looks into BASHO'S eyes shocked.

BASHO
We are brothers.

YUKIO
When do we expect the final attack and the invasion
To take place?

BASHO
Soon.

YUKIO
What about Miko?

BASHO
I don't know what he plans with her but she
Is still alive.

YUKIO
We have very little time.
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - CORRIDORS - NIGHT

We hear screams as we see another TEMPLAR die. A DAEMONS claw cuts off his head 
as other TEMPLARS run away whilst being chased by more DAEMONS. We follow 
another TEMPLAR as he knocks on every door he passes waking people up. More 
TEMPLARS die as we notice KENSKEI come round the corner. 

We now follow him as he runs over to a wall in the corridor and hits an alarm. 
He then runs down the corridor to a room where he finds TSUMETA.

MIA (v.o)
ALERT! ALERT!
PLEASE EVACUATE THE SHIP IMMEDIATELY
AND MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE EVACUATION 
SHUTTLES IN BAY TWO. (repeated)

KENSKEI
Lets just hope he knows what to do.

TEMPLAR (outside door)
Quick sir we must evacuate.

TSUMETA
No, we're staying. 

KENSKEI
Is that wise?

TSUMETA
I don't run away from the first sign of
Trouble you know. I'm goin' to try
And stop this. This is my ship and nothings
Gonna' take that away from me.

KENSKEI
You have faith in the boy?

TSUMETA
Always did, that's why I'm staying.

KENSKEI nods and turns. He opens a cabinet and throws a couple of swords to 
TSUMETA. TSUMETA catches them and straps them to his back. KENSKEI does the 
same.

KENSKEI
Like old times.

TSUMETA
Quite so. 

Cut To:

INT. DRACONIS - BASHOS QUARTERS - NIGHT

BASHO lies on his bed still. His eyes flicker slightly as if he sees something 
we cannot as we close - in on his face. With a sudden movement he leaps out of 
bed, sweat running down his face. 

He gets up and walks out of his room wearing only his boxer shorts. We follow 
him as he enters one of the main dojos and training areas that are found on this 
floor of the DRAGONSHIP. 

The lights are off but we can see BASHO because of the green glow of psychic 
energy that surrounds his body. He stands in the centre of the room as if still 
asleep and begins to float into the air. He spins, as the glow around him gets 
stronger. His arms spread out and we see his chest opening. His eyes are now 
closed and a green aura fills the insides of his chest.

Cut To: YUKIOS QUARTERS.

YUKIO wakes from his sleep with a sudden burst as if he feels something 
happening. He looks at his hand and at the scar that was made when him and BASHO 
became blood brothers. A trickle of blood slides down his hand, which tells him 
something's wrong. He clenches his fist and walks out. Following his instincts 
he heads for the Dojo where BASHO is.

He sees BASHO floating there. He watches in horror at what is happening to his 
brother.

YUKIO (whisper)
No.

He runs towards him his body suddenly filling with purple psychic energy. In a 
sudden thrust he is sent back and hits the floor as a bolt of red energy hits 
him. He shakes his head to try and arouse himself back to focus and notices the 
next phase.

Suddenly BASHO thrusts in his position. Again, he thrusts and two red balls of 
energy fly out of his chest as he is thrown back against the wall. He slides 
down the wall knocked unconscious and sits there as the two red balls of energy 
encircle his head then disappears inside. He wakes with a grin of evil on his 
face as if possessed.

YUKIO runs up to him and helps him to his feet. BASHO groans and then laughs 
manically.

YUKIO
You ok?

BASHO
Never better.

He looks at YUKIO with an angry face and then uppercuts him, knocking him back. 
YUKIO looks shocked and dodges the punch thrown by BASHO.

YUKIO
What are you doing?

BASHO says nothing but instead picks up a sword that lies on the wall and swings 
for YUKIO just narrowly missing him. He swings again missing him like before. 
YUKIO spins and pushes BASHO away so now he is behind him. 

YUKIO
BASHO STOP!

BASHO (possessed)
Basho's gone.

YUKIO
I won't fight you.

BASHO (possessed)
You will

BASHO thrusts out his hand and in a flash of red energy MIKO appears. He grabs 
her neck and brings her close to him. She looks beaten up, blood trickles down 
the side of her face. BASHO throws her to the ground in front of him, she looks 
up at YUKIO scared and BASHO begins to glow with psychic energy.

YUKIO (realising what's about to happen)
NO!

He dives into BASHO knocking him back and away from MIKO. He gets up and kicks 
BASHO in the chest. He kicks again but it's caught and BASHO throws him back.

YUKIO
RUN!

MIKO gets up and runs out of the room just before a ball of red energy can hit 
her. It narrowly misses her and hits the doorway.

BASHO gets up and moves his hand towards the sword. It flies towards him and he 
catches it and swings at YUKIO once more.

YUKIO spins to dodge another thrust and elbows BASHO in the face. BASHO growls 
in anger and pushes YUKIO off and then again into the wall using his energy.

He laughs again and thrusts the sword deep into YUKIOS chest, as he stands there 
shocked at what had just been said. He looks down at the sword, which is then 
pulled out of him still shocked then looks back at BASHO.

BASHO drops the sword and spin punches him across the face, which then knocks 
him down. YUKIO lies there bleeding to death. BASHO kneels down beside him 
smiling as he chops his neck choking YUKIO who dies a few seconds later.

BASHO stands again and is then thrown against the opposite wall. He is pinned 
against it as some force falls out of his chest and head. The red energy is 
pushed out of BASHOS body and BASHO falls to the ground. 

The energy forms a MANS body shape as the layers of a body are formed in front 
of our view. There now stands a MAN in a black uniform and cloak just like at 
the Stones. He laughs manically as did BASHO when he was possessed then he walks 
off out of the dojo leaving YUKIO lying dead and BASHO just waking.

BASHO awakens fully and sees YUKIO lying dead. His eyes widen as if shocked. He 
runs over to his body and slides beside him. He checks for a pulse and finds 
nothing.

BASHO (quietly)
No, not this.

BASHO fills with green psychic energy and presses against his heart trying to 
get it to start. His energy pounds to get it restarted but he fails.

BASHO
NO! HELP ME PLEASE!
SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!

Cut To: Infirmary

We cut to a pair of plastic doors. They burst open as a stretcher carrying YUKIO 
rushes in with doctors and nurses surrounding it. 

They park it next to a bed surrounded by resuscitation equipment and pass him 
over from the stretcher to the bed and link him to the machines.

NURSE #1
Ready Doctor.

DOCTOR #1
Right, CLEAR!

He presses a button on the machine and YUKIOS body pounds on the bed but his 
heart doesn't start. They try again with a higher voltage but still this fails. 
Music is heard in the background as the DOCTORS give up, looks at the clock, 
write something on a chart and cover YUKIOS body up.

MIKO stands at the doorway with BASHO. Sadness strikes BASHOS face, as he knows 
what has just happened. MIKO realises the same and turns into BASHO who hugs her 
tight as she cries.

A DAEMON crashes through a wall and jumps onto one of the DOCTORS. It claws away 
as the NURSES around scream and run away. It claws deep into his skin and kills 
him. The DAEMON gets up and jumps around then spots MIKO. It stops and looks for 
a few seconds then charges at her. She just stands there looking at it as it 
comes closer. BASHO thrusts two energy balls from his arms. They hit the DAEMON 
in the chest and send him crashing through a wall on the far side. It crashes 
through into another corridor, gets up and chases after another CADET. BASHO 
runs up to YUKIOS body, picks it up and walks out through the hole in the wall.

MIKO
Where you taking him?

BASHO
Don't worry I know what to do.

MIKO
There's nothing you can do he's gone.

BASHO
There's always somethin' you can do.

He smiles at her and runs off down the corridor. We follow him as he makes his 
way through the crowds and the scattered and scared CADETS and TEMPLARS trying 
to escape and we watch from a distance him running down the long corridor.

INT. DRACONIS - RESURRECTION ROOM - NIGHT

As we hear crashes and screams from outside in the corridor we see BASHO walk 
through carrying YUKIOS body. He walks over to an operating table and places him 
on it. He then attaches an electrode to his head and two more to his chest 
either side of his heart.

He then walks over to a large dome shaped machine. He steps inside and places 
his hands on two sensors in the centre of the machine. A screen slides over 
YUKIOS body and three circular strips of metal begin to spin around the outside 
of the machine. BASHO begins to glow with green energy and he then focuses it on 
his hands. It glows thicker as the machine speeds up. He then thrusts backwards 
and the energy is transferred to the sensors. BASHO holds on to them as a wave 
of white energy spreads through the room from the machine.

The machine gets faster still and takes more energy from BASHO. We focus on his 
hands as electricity runs from the sensors up his arms and into his body. He 
tries to collapse and he goes weak but he can't move. He screams in pain as more 
electricity shoot up into his body. We turn the view to see YUKIO. Green energy 
goes down the electrodes and fills his body. He still lies dead. 

The white wave of energy gets thicker and we see waves of green energy from 
BASHO within it going back and forth along the white wave. It suddenly vanishes 
and everything lies still as the machine comes to a halt.

BASHO takes his hands off the sensors, takes two steps out of the machine then 
collapses to the ground. Electricity escapes his body and fades away along the 
floor, as he lies unconscious. YUKIO lies on the bed still. There is a flicker 
of movement and slowly he opens his eyes. BASHO has just resurrected him. YUKIO 
opens his eyes slowly and pulls the electrodes off his body. He then gets up and 
sits on the side of the table rubbing his eyes as if awakening from a deep 
sleep.

He looks around not recognising the place and then looks at his hand and the 
scar. It begins to throb. As he looks at it he finally comes into focus and sees 
BASHO lying on the floor. He jumps off the table and runs to him. He skids along 
the floor and turns BASHOS body over. He then checks for a pulse and finds one. 
BASHO's eyes open and look straight at YUKIO who is kneeling over him smiling. 
BASHO smiles back and then he gets up and hugs his brother. YUKIO helps him up.

BASHO
Come on we've gotta' get out of here.

YUKIO (hearing the screams)
I agree.

They stand up and run for the door. At that moment two DAEMONS crash through 
them. Not able to stop BASHO and YUKIO slip and slide underneath the DAEMONS 
legs passing them and escaping the room. The DAEMONS topple over somersaulting 
then crashing to the ground in a heap.

Cut To: CORRIDOR

YUKIO and BASHO get up onto their feet and turn to see the DAEMONS struggling to 
get up. They look at each other and laugh then turn to see SATORI running their 
way. He crashes into BASHO and they both fall onto the floor. SATORI looks at 
the DAEMONS who have now got up and they both get up and make a run for it. 
YUKIO follows and they come to a T - junction in the corridor.

BASHO
Right, I have a plan. Yukio, you go and
Get supplies. Also grab Miko and tell her to use 
This. (he hands him a piece of paper)
Satori and I are goin' to see if we can get
Rid of greaseball and slim here.

YUKIO nods and runs down one end of the T - junction. BASHO and SATORI see that 
the two DAEMONS have spotted them and are now running after them. They look at 
each other and nod then leg it down the other corridor. The DAEMONS follow them.

Cut To: NEXT SCENE.

INT. DRACONIS - CORRIDORS

The alarms buzz away as many TEMPLARS on board scatter and try to evacuate the 
ship. We follow SATORI and BASHO as they join the many TEMPLARS around the 
place. We hear roars and growls coming from behind and spin round to see two 
DAEMONS chasing them. 

BASHO and SATORI split from the crowd and move to the opposite direction to the 
evacuation bays. We notice a sign on the wall saying 'MESS HALL'. The two 
DAEMONS follow them and we notice from another corridor a head pop round to see 
SATORI. It is the MIME from earlier. He begins to pull the rope but faster to 
compensate for SATORIS running.

SATORI spins round and sees the MIME standing there moving his hands again as if 
trapped in and imaginary cage. SATORI looks at him shocked and continues to run 
away from the DAEMONS chasing as the MIME is run down by one of them.

They dart into the dark, which is found in what looks like the mess hall.

Fade Out. 

INT. DRACONIS - CORRIDORS - NIGHT

YUKIO runs around frantically along the corridors. He holds a bag of weapons at 
his side. He looks along and sees a horde of DAEMONS fighting KENSKEI and 
TSUMETA. YUKIO drops the bag and takes out a sword. He walks closer and is then 
met by a DAEMON who crashes through another wall to the right of the corridor. 
YUKIO slices the sword through its body slicing it in two. 

As it drops screaming to the ground he walks further on. KENSKEI notices him and 
smiles. He then slices the head off another DAEMON with his sword.

KENSKEI (panting)
Its about bloody time you got here.

YUKIO thrusts his sword into a DAEMON and laughs. TSUMETA recognises the laugh 
of his son and smiles to himself knowing that BASHO had resurrected him. TSUMETA 
grabs his other sword and fights two DAEMONS. KENSKEI slices one of them in two 
and TSUMETA spins and slices the others head clean off. They turn down another 
corridor as we watch the DAEMONS head spinning.

We then follow the group down the corridor as TSUMETA crashes into MIKO round a 
corner. She looks at YUKIO amazed to see him alive again and runs up to him 
jumping into his arms.

MIKO
Is it really you?

YUKIO
Yea, it's me. 
(hands her the paper)
Basho said to give you this, he said
You'd know what to do.

She looks at the paper with a knowing smile and then looks back up. She takes 
YUKIO by the hand and they run down the corridor.

TSUMETA
Where you goin'?

MIKO
We don't have much time, please evacuate
The ship, we'll be fine.

They run off out of sight and TSUMETA and KENSKEI are met by another horde. They 
block the claws and begin to fight again.

We now follow YUKIO and MIKO as they go down into the research labs. MIKO lets 
go of YUKIOS hand and turns to him. She kisses him hard then backs away.

MIKO
You must go find Basho. Take the 
Weapons. I must go collect some stuff,
I'll meet you in the engineering bay.

YUKIO
Ok, you be careful.

MIKO
You two.

They kiss again and MIKO runs off. YUKIO turns and runs back down the corridor 
where he came from.
Cut To: DRACONIS - WYVERN BAY

TSUMETA and KENSKEI run through the door. TSUMETA throws his sword at one of the 
DAEMONS and it flies back into the wall. KENSKEI throws a bolt of his energy at 
it and it explodes knocking out at least six more DAEMONS.

Another DAEMON flies in the air and lands on more in the distance, they look 
over at it and find one of the OFFICERS still fighting.

TSUMETA
I thought I told you to evacuate!

OFFICER #1
Like we'd leave you.

TSUMETA
Fool!

KENSKEI slices through another DAEMON and notices that the WYVERNS on the bay 
are charred or on fire. TSUMETA punches another twice and snaps his neck. The 
DAEMON drops to the ground.

KENSKEI
Do you know where we can find an undamaged
Cruiser?

OFFICER #1
Follow me.

They run down the gangway as more DAEMONS fire at them. The wall behind explodes 
as the energy hits it. The OFFICER fires back with his rifle. It runs out of 
energy so he throws it at another DAEMON who flies back into a WYVERN. It bursts 
into flames and blows up knocking them to their knees and another horde of 
DAEMONS into oblivion.

They run down to the end and KENSKEI taps a code into a pad by the side of the 
door. It opens down and they run in. A bolt of energy hits the hull at the side 
of the door. The officer falls backwards onto the floor as another bolt hits the 
ground. The other two duck as smoke fills the area. Red eyes can be seen through 
the smoke and both TSUMETA and KENSKEI hit them with balls of gold and purple 
energy.

KENSKEI runs down and drags the OFFICER to safety inside the cruiser. The door 
closes and KENSKEI runs over to the cockpit. TSUMETA picks the OFFICER up and 
places him on a pile of boxes at the back. He checks the wound on his leg and 
the OFFICER winces in pain. 

The cruiser flies out of the bay and into the distance. A flash and then a bolt 
of lightning fills an area in the sky. The gateway begins to open.
Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - MESS HALL - MORNING

The room is dark. No light has entered this room all night. Suddenly a light 
flickers on, and then another and we spin round to the door to see two giant 
DAEMONS. They snarl at each other and go separate ways around the tables.

One looks up at the ceiling and we notice that one of the plates is missing. It 
growls at the other one and it comes pounding over the tables to look. The other 
DAEMON looks up and we see SATORIS head popping through the gap, it's a trap. 

SATORI
Hi, you here for the fleshy humans?

His face turns from a smile to a look of anger as he pulls out a spear and 
throws it at one of the DAEMONS. It hits the DAEMON and goes straight through 
it's body all the way to the other side and sends it towards the wall where it 
is impaled onto it, green blood dripping down onto the floor below it.

BASHO
Not a bad shot.

He comes out from behind the counter and smiles to SATORI. The other DAEMON 
looks at BASHO and runs towards him. BASHO moves into a stance and then moves 
back slightly as the DAEMON continues to charge towards him. He spins round and 
the DAEMON knocks him with his arm as if knowing his move.

BASHO collides with one of the tables and topples over it hitting the floor at 
the other side. He gets up and looks at the DAEMON in anger. His body fills with 
green psychic energy and he throws two balls of flame at the DAEMON who blocks 
it and throws it back. He misses BASHO narrowly but summersaults and kicks BASHO 
to the wall.

It then gets up and runs towards BASHO knocking him further into the wall. The 
daemon now tries to crush BASHO who squints in pain and holds his hand up 
against his nose and realises he's bleeding. His eyes flash with green flame and 
his body fills with energy again, which then knocks the DAEMON away. BASHO 
kneels down in pain and then looks up to see the DAEMON who rushes back and 
knocks BASHO up into the air then kicks him aside where he hits the counter 
causing a dent.

SATORI
BASHO, HERE TAKE THIS!

BASHO looks up at SATORI who throws down another spear.

BASHO
THANKS BUT COULDN'T YOU GET DOWN
HERE AND HELP?

SATORI
NO CAN DO, I'M STUCK!

UTYUK (quietly behind the counter)
Utyuk Utyuk.

BASHO tries to thrust the spear into the DAEMON but it moves out the way. He 
tries again but the DAEMON knocks it snapping it in two. BASHO looks around 
frantic for another weapon as the DAEMON begins to come closer, then he 
remembers the noise from behind him. He looks and finds a half eaten bowl of 
UTYUK. He reaches down for it and holds it in his hand as he turns back to face 
the DAEMON.

BASHO
Hey, what do we say to the nice creature?

The DAEMON growls loudly.

BASHO
Very good.

UTYUK
UTYUK UTYUK!

He throws the UTYUK and it heads straight for the camera in one slick motion. We 
spin round and see that it has hit the DAEMON between the eyes. It screams in 
pain and starts to smoke where the UTYUK has hit. He screams more and we notice 
blood running from his eyes. In one final scream he falls backwards to the 
ground.

UTYUK
Utyuk.

BASHO falls beside the counter and sits there laughing. SATORI looks at him 
curiously.

SATORI
What you laughing at?

BASHO
Oh nothing, just knew that stuff
Would become useful one day.

SATORI
Well could you please hold the laughter
For a second and help me down please?

BASHO throws a ball of flame up at the roof where SATORI is and it comes 
crashing down with SATORI screaming as he falls with it. He hits the ground with 
a large thud.

Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - CORRIDORS - NIGHT

BASHO and SATORI limp out of the banquet hall shake their ankles and walk 
normally. They are met by YUKIO and his bag of weapons.

BASHO
What you get?

YUKIO
A few spears, all I could find, the rest
Is damaged or destroyed.

SATORI
Right, I'll go and help Miko set up.
See you two later.

He runs off down the corridor and is then out of view of the camera. We focus 
back on YUKIO and BASHO. YUKIO hands him a spear, then takes his out of the bag 
and throws it aside.

BASHO
I gather you know what must be done.

YUKIO (holds up the scarred hand)
My thoughts, your thoughts.

BASHO
You make it sound so perverted.

YUKIO
No time for jokes come on I'll give
You a leg up.

He crosses his fingers together and bends. BASHO puts his foot inside and jumps 
up. He knocks a grate out of the ceiling and throws it aside. He then climbs in. 
YUKIO passes him the spears then jumps up. BASHO catches him and lifts him into 
the ceiling just as another horde of DAEMONS carrying several severed heads jump 
after YUKIO trying to catch him. They walk along the tunnel as we...

Fade Out.

INT. DRACONIS - ENGINEERING BAY - NIGHT

The room is dark like most of the rooms now on board the DRAGONSHIP. We hear a 
low hum as we pan to the left and notice one of the many machines in the room. A 
spear is dropped onto one of the platforms high up near the ceiling. A body 
drops down followed by another spear and then a final body. We see the 
silhouetted image of the two bodies moving and walking along the gangway. 

One of them walks up to a switch on the wall and presses it. The light flickers 
on and everything comes to life within the room. We see that the two bodies are 
YUKIO and BASHO. 

A crash hits the ship and everything shakes and rumbles. They look at each other 
questioningly.

BASHO (whispers)
The gateways opening.

We now see the room from behind YUKIO as he bends over the side of the gangway 
to look down at the floor level of the room. We watch with him as we see a mist 
has formed and various sizes of large green eggs are situated in several places 
around the floor.

BASHO (quietly from behind)
Breeding?

YUKIO (also quietly)
Yes. Has Miko got everythin' ready?

BASHO (goes over to the communicator on the wall)
Miko, is everything set?

MIKO (v.o)
Nearly, havin' trouble with the power.

BASHO
We don't have much time.

MIKO (v.o)
Hold on a few seconds longer.

BASHO stays near the COM as YUKIO notices a change in the present situation. We 
begin to hear faint cracking noises and return to the view of the floor. Some of 
the eggs start to hatch and we see that small claws are beginning to show within 
the cracks of the eggshells.

YUKIO
Basho, problem, it's started.

BASHO (into COM)
We need it now; they've started to hatch.

MIKO (v.o)
Ok, ready.

BASHO clicks another switch on the wall and we see a thick cloud of smoke 
appearing within the mist on the floor. Screams can be heard coming from the 
DAEMONS inside the hatching eggs as they begin to die.

A crash is heard and there is suddenly an explosion coming from the far end of 
the room. One of the machines has exploded. YUKIO and BASHO watches as DAEMONS 
from the other parts of the ship begin to break through into this room.

YUKIO turns and grabs his spear. He climbs over the low wall surrounding the 
gangway.

BASHO
Yukio no.

YUKIO
This has to stop.

BASHO
We've lost you once, we're not gonna'
Do it again.

YUKIO (putting his scarred hand on BASHOS)
I'll be fine. Stay here.

YUKIO jumps down onto the lower floor and is met by a group of DAEMONS. BASHO 
looks down then moves his hand round, which fills with green energy. His spear 
floats towards him and he catches it then jumps down to the platform where YUKIO 
is.

BASHO
YOUR NOT DOIN' THIS ALONE!

YUKIO turns and smiles. The battle begins. The camera floats down to see YUKIO 
on one side of the platform fighting a DAEMON with his spear, swinging it around 
hitting him with the staff end. BASHO is on the other side and we zoom in to see 
him as he throws two DAEMONS back with a ball of green flame. Another group of 
DAEMONS jump onto the platform, two more are hit by the other two whom have just 
been thrown. 

The other DAEMONS in the group charge at BASHO who flashes with his green 
psychic energy. He jumps over them so now he is behind them and they charge into 
an invisible wall, which had just been placed by BASHO. The DAEMONS fall to the 
floor level and BASHO looks around for anymore that may be coming. He sees that 
they only seem to be coming from YUKIOS side.

BASHO
YUKIO MOVE!

YUKIO darts to the right of the platform as BASHO throws his spear at the 
DAEMONS that stand there. His spear rips straight through three of them and 
impales them onto the wall, which electrocutes them suddenly as the spear goes 
through the COM.

There is another explosion coming from the back. More DAEMONS run through and 
join the others fighting YUKIO and BASHO. NICOLAI who floats in, his black cloak 
trailing behind him follows them into the room. BASHO looks in the direction of 
the explosion and notices him. He hits a DAEMON over the head and knocks it to 
the ground.

YUKIO picks up a block of metal and throws it at a group of DAEMONS who hit the 
floor. From behind he is tackled by another DAEMON. They hit the floor and the 
DAEMON crawls onto his back scratching at his skin. He spins on the floor and 
the DAEMON scratches his face drawing blood whilst growling. It stops and cheers 
as it pins YUKIO to the floor. YUKIO raises his hand, rubs it against the blood 
and looks at it angrily. He then looks at the DAEMON who then looks back. With 
one loud scream YUKIO flashes with blue psychic energy and hits the DAEMON with 
both of his fists first from the left then the right and back to the left again 
throwing the creature off. 

YUKIO floats up into the air and bolts of lightning flash from his body hitting 
the DAEMONS that surround him and BASHO. The creatures burst into flames and 
drop to the ground dead. YUKIO also drops to the ground and kneels there as if 
in pain. BASHO runs to him and picks him up.

BASHO
You ok?

YUKIO (in pain)
I'll be fine.

He gets up onto his feet and walks over to the wall where he then pulls out 
BASHO's spear. The three DAEMONS drop to the ground dead and YUKIO spins with a 
grin on his face. BASHO looks at him as YUKIO glows with strong energy. He 
smiles as YUKIO floats again and we spin to see the back of him. Four wings 
unfold from his back and spread wide. 

BASHO
It has begun.

YUKIO floats back down to the ground with his four wings still spread. He looks 
up at BASHO.

YUKIO
You were right my brother. This is
Amazing.

BASHO laughs, as YUKIO looks himself over. His wings return into YUKIOS body and 
he watches as DAEMONS begin to surround them again. He looks at them and tilts 
his head slightly to the left. BASHO stands back and watches him. We do the same 
as YUKIO walks up to the DAEMONS who are now surrounding him and are swinging to 
hit him unsuccessfully. YUKIO ducks or jumps every time one DAEMON or more take 
a swing at him.

He holds his arms out stretched at the side of him and energy rushes through his 
arms and hits the DAEMONS in its path pushing them away of their feet out of 
view of the camera. He moves his arms in front of him and as a couple more 
DAEMONS who stand in front of him swing again unsuccessfully he points his hands 
down to the floor. The DAEMONS look down at the floor as more energy is pushed 
from his arms. It hits the ground and rebounds into the DAEMONS faces knocking 
them up into the air then back down to the ground.

YUKIO laughs at the DAEMONS who now lay dead around him. NICOLAI jumps down to 
the floor level from somewhere above and applauds YUKIO sarcastically. 

NICHOLAI
Very good Yukio.

YUKIO (bowing)
I know.

NICHOLAI
Ahh, your no match for me boy.

YUKIO goes into a forward stance and twists his wrists around putting his right 
hand up against his chest in a fist ready and the other just in front of his 
right still twisting. He turns it palm up and gestures for NICHOLAI to come.

BASHO (from behind)
NO!

YUKIO stops and turns. NICHOLAI watches BASHO as he makes his way slowly towards 
YUKIO.

BASHO
This is my battle.

BASHO faces YUKIO directly, smiles, winks and we notice his eyes flash with his 
green psychic energy slightly. YUKIO nods once and smiles back. He then backs 
away as BASHO walks around NICHOLAI. NICHOLAI just stands and watches.

NICHOLAI
It's no use Basho. You can't beat me.

BASHO
That was then, this is now.

BASHO throws down a ball of energy at his right foot and kicks it at NICHOLAI 
hitting him in the chest. NICHOLAI burts into a stance and goes into BASHO to 
kick him. This is blocked but NICHOLAI swings and hits BASHO across the face. 
BASHO is tossed aside and stumbles slightly. He spins round and his four wings 
fly out in a rapid movement filled with green energy. NICHOLAI runs in and is 
stopped by BASHO who swings to hit him but is then blocked. NICHOLAI sweeps and 
BASHO jumps and spins, kicking NICHOLAI around the head. NICHOLAI spins and then 
blocks the two fists coming to knock him. BASHO swings again from the left with 
both fists then to the right. NICHOLAI blocks both of these and flies up into 
the air slightly producing a double kick to BASHO's chest.

NICHOLAI
Give it up.

BASHO (gets up)
Never!

BASHO is knocked back into the wall. NICHOLAI runs up to him and punches but 
BASHO ducks and moves out the way of him as NICHOLAI's fist creates a dent in 
the wall. BASHO jumps around in his stance ready. He flicks his nose just as 
BRUCE LEE does in 'Fist Of Fury'. He then tilts his head to the left as we pan 
round to the back of him to see NICHOLAI running again towards him, his face 
frustrated. He jumps and produces a crescent kick heading for BASHO who blocks 
it again. He holds NICHOLAI in the air and his pupils disappear. All we can now 
see is the whites of his eyes. NICHOLAI also sees this and as BASHO begins to 
glow green NICHOLAI swings his other leg round and hits BASHO around the head. 
NICHOLAI is dropped and he lands and punches BASHO continuously in the chest. He 
then puts his hands together and pushes a black ball of energy at BASHO who 
flies back into another machine destroying it. He drops to the ground as if dead 
and YUKIO runs forward to him only to be stopped by an explosion coming from the 
machine BASHO had just hit.

The explosion engulfs BASHO's body and YUKIO falls to his knees. 

YUKIO
NO!

NICHOLAI stands there laughing at his triumph. We hear a dragons roar coming 
from within the flames, which shuts NICHOLAI's laughing up. He looks, as the 
camera swings round to the flames. We see a silhouette of a MAN. It is BASHO; he 
walks out of the flames, his wings trailing behind him.

NICHOLAI's face looks disgusted as BASHO continues to walk out of the fire and 
up to him. NICHOLAI comes into view now as we see this from the side. He swings 
at BASHO who ducks out of the way. BASHO then swings and hits NICHOLAI around 
the face with his right, then the left. He spins and his wings then cut 
NICHOLAI's chest. He shuffles back holding the cuts on his chest. He looks at 
them and we see black liquid trickling out. He looks up angry and rushes back 
throwing all he can at BASHO.

He throws bolts of black energy, which is blocked by BASHO's wings that seem to 
be extremely strong. He opens up his wing - shield and throws a ball of green 
energy, which hits NICHOLAI in the chest and makes the cuts bigger. BASHO's eyes 
are glowing green with only his whites in view. He stands there with his arms 
beside him as his wings trail behind him again. NICHOLAI runs up again and 
punches continuously in various parts of BASHO's body. Each is useless and 
doesn't get anywhere near BASHO's skin as if there is an invisible shield around 
BASHO'S body. BASHO then breaks through the shield with a double punch. It 
knocks NICHOLAI back. Blood runs down the side of his mouth as BASHO now runs at 
him. BASHO jumps and spins heel kicks NICHOLAI who falls back. A green field 
lifts NICHOLAI back to his feet as BASHO continuously hits him in the chest. We 
close up as this happens and watch NICOLAI's face, as it is hit countless number 
of times by BASHO's fists swinging again from left to right. Blood sprays in 
numerous directions from his face as we enter slow motion.

BASHO stops and stands there in - front of NICHOLAI breathing heavily. NICHOLAI 
drops to his feet and closes his eyes. He then keels over to the right and lies 
on the floor dead. BASHOS glow of green fades away as he drops to his knees. 
YUKIO runs up to him and supports him wrapping BASHO in his arms.

YUKIO (quietly)
What the hell was that?

BASHO (laughing slightly)
Probably somethin' I ate.

YUKIO (also laughing)
Probably that bowl of Utyuk.

They both laugh. BASHO stops suddenly and goes into a coughing fit. YUKIO 
supports his body more; looking worried as he smiles at BASHO.

YUKIO
You ok?

BASHO
Never... (coughs)
Better.

A faint humming is heard again as DRACONIS comes back into power. YUKIO picks 
BASHO up into his arms as BASHO's wings return to his body. They look out of a 
hole in the wall to see lightning. A black hole that had appeared flashes white 
and then disappears. They smile and then YUKIO carries BASHO off through the 
doors on the floor level as we...

Fade Out.

INT. MONASTERY - DAY

We now see a large room within the walls of the VOX monastery. WANG sits on a 
large wooden chair at the front of what seems to be a hall. We zoom out and see 
YUKIO, BASHO, MIKO and SATORI standing to attention before him. Around them are 
other TEMPLARS and by WANG at the wall we see TSUMETA, KENSKEI, SOPWITH, COWBOY 
and MIA. WANG gets up from his seat and walks up to our TEMPLARS.

CAPTION: VOX MONASTERY

WANG
You are vewy bwave. Your gweat deed
Is one of couwage and bwavery.

He produces four medals in his hand out of thin air.

WANG
You have become Templars my fwiends.
Congwatulations on your victowy.

The other TEMPLARS applaud the four TEMPLARS still standing to attention.
Fade Into: MONASTERY - LANDING BAY - NIGHT

BASHO leans against the wall looking up at the stars. One flashes brighter than 
the others and he smiles knowing exactly what it is.

YUKIO walks through the door beside him and stands watching.

YUKIO
You ok?

BASHO
Fine.

YUKIO
Something's bothering you.

BASHO
I keep forgetting you can sense me.

YUKIO
It isn't over is it?

BASHO
Far from it.

KENSKEI walks in behind YUKIO and places a hand on his nephews shoulder.

KENSKEI
You did well, both of you.

BASHO
I can still sense him inside me sir.

KENSKEI
You always will.
(looks at YUKIO)
We all have our own Daemons.
Cut To: FOREST - DAY

Rustling can be heard in the background as we focus on the leafy ground of a 
forest. A pair of legs comes into view partly covered by black boots. We follow 
them as they walk down the path. They stop and are met by another pair 
completely covered in brown monks' robes.

CAPTION: GANGRET FOREST - UPPER SECTOR

GIRL
Is everything set?

MONK
Everything is ready as you commanded.

We pan up and circle her to see a short black skirt, a short mid-drift cut top 
covered partly by a black denim jacket and then her face. She looks exactly like 
MIKO.

GIRL
I think its time for a little reunion.
Fade Out.

EXT. NASBETH - STREETS - DAY

The group walks along the streets of this small town. YUKIO and MIKO walk 
together holding hands, BASHO and SATORI walk behind them.

CAPTION: NASBETH - OUTER RIM

BASHO
So Satori, what can you tell us
About your new friend then?

He winks at SATORI and nudges his arm. The others laugh and SATORI stops dead 
scowling at them as they walk off. He begins to hear some strange circus music 
faint coming from a dark alleyway. 

He turns to see what it is and the MIME pops out with his arm in a sling. SATORI 
ignores him and walks off. He turns down another alley following the direction 
where the others went. We notice the MIME following, still pulling on an 
imaginary bit of rope but this time with a limp. SATORI stops and turns to see 
the MIME standing there smiling just inside the alley.

He walks up to it and the MIME continues to smile. He stops and blows him a 
kiss. SATORI looks and then moves his wrist in a camp way and smiles to the MIME 
who then smiles back and begins to get closer. SATORIS eyes flash slightly and 
his hand lifts and produces a ball of yellow energy, which knocks the MIME out 
of view. 

We hear a loud thud as the MIME hits something out of the view of the camera. We 
focus on SATORI who flicks his hair back and walks off down the alley where the 
others wait laughing.
Fade Into: END CREDITS
