<p><a href="http://www.dianton.com">Anton Diether</a> is the writer of the 1998 Hallmark TV miniseries Moby Dick, the highest-rated long-form show in basic cable history, nominated for five Emmy and two Golden Globe Awards; the 1999 ABC-TV miniseries Cleopatra; and the 2002 Hallmark Channel miniseries Stranded.  Anton developed Beauty and the Beast for Fox Family, Land of Oz for Disney, Gold Fever for Phoenix Pictures, Operation Greylord for Showtime, and Taj Mahal for Threshold Entertainment.  He recently wrote Lost At Sea for TNT, which was to star Patrick Swayze, directed by Nicholas Meyer; and Swim For Your Lives for RHI, to be filmed in 2011.</p>
<p>DIANTON PRODUCTIONS, based in Austin, Texas, is funding its first feature film, Suburban Gothic, as well as Sindrome, White Devil of Shanghai, Wild Cargo and Cult, currently in development.</p>

There are the first episodes of <b>House of Saddam</b> (which is about what you think it is about) and the supernatural series <b>Being Human</b> which Russell tells me has been renewed for a second season. The premise of <b>Being Human</b>, as Russell points out, sounds like the beginning of a joke: a vampire, a werewolf, and a female ghost share a house&#8230;</p>
