Shrieks, Chicks and Phil - posted by Don

Just a general update on neat stuff.

Phil Clarke’s The Devil’s Jokebook (which is a Shriekfest finalist) is up as candidate for amatuer Friday review on ScriptShadow.

Additionally, female writers – ScriptShadow has a call out for female screenwriters, Calling all female screenwriters – we want YOU to submit your best work for an upcoming Amateur Offerings Weekend that will showcase scripts written exclusively by women! Send a PDF of your script along with the title, genre, logline, and a ‘why you should read’ section in an email to carsonreeves3@gmail.com ASAP!

And, Phil was on Shriekfest Radio last month. He says some nice stuff about you guys. He starts to talk about the 5:00 mark.

    Embezzlement by Alan Power

John Redde has written a book and has kept it on his laptop not wanting anyone to read it. Patrick Hughes, his friend, comes to the opportunity to take it and read it but once he does, he finds out that it's the best thing he has ever read and so manages to get it published in his name. When John finds out, him and his friend Nicole Lynch must find a way to get the book back and to prove that Patrick's guilt. Even though there is no trace of it on John's laptop and just their words alone won't help, they find it hard to solve the problem. 20 pages
