Spoilage! Tron and Akira screenplays

Spoilage! Tron and Akira screenplays

Thanks Isacc for the heads up on a couple of cool scripts thanks to ScriptLeak.

Read Akira (pdf) – July 30, 2008 draft by Gary Whitta (wrote The Book of Eli) based on the story by Katsuhiro Otomo.

There is also an undated, unspecified draft of Tron 2.0 (pdf) by Richard Jefferies

As an anime fan, I really don’t see the big hype around Akira. I’ve watched it twice, and still don’t see some blockbuster film being made. Even if directed perfectly, it seems like just another sci fi film. Nothing classic about it. That’s just my opinion.
