Daddy is Home

Pia’s short, horror, thriller, Daddy is Home (pdf format), has been made into a machinima. This previously was audio performed which you can listen to here.

A man wakes up in a stranger’s bedroom after a wild night only to find out the stranger is his wife.

That was brilliant, loved the twist at the end.

The robotic movement and acting had me thrown off at times, but seemingly added to the strange atmosphere you created with your story Pia :)

Well done to yourself and the creators, you all surely delivered a brilliant short and should be very proud.

Pia did an excellent job with that script. As soon as I read it I just wanted to make it. Thanks for giving me permission Pia. Unfortunately the package I used has limitations, the robotic moves being one of them.

The film was shown at this years Cambridge Film festival to a paying audience along with other Machima films, it looks very good on a full size cinema screen. It is also to be shown at this years FILE festival at the SESI Art Gallery, on Paulista Avenue in downtown São Paulo Brasil from July 27th.
