Discussion Board is back up! - posted by Don

Hi Gang!

Well, after a lot of time, the discussion board is back up. Please note the new url:

http://www.simplyscripts.com/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl.

If you were wondering what the heck happened. I still do not know. For some reason on the script just stopped running on the dot net server. After hours on with tech support and a lot of research into pathing and what not, I’m still no closer to finding out what happened.

Apologies for the delay. It took forever to download the old board and upload it to the new location and then figure out all the message and image pathing changes.

if you find any broken images on the discussion board, let me know. Also, if you have any internal links on the discussion board to your script threads, you will have to change them from simplyscripts.net to simplyscripts.com. – Don

Hey Don,

It’s iPower right? I’ve had problems this week as have friends with sites hosted by them. One friend had a forum that stopped working and they had to do a complete password reset. Stuff got moved around during a migration and the passwords were not synced up correctly for their scripts to work. I don’t know if that’s your problem but it’s something to check.

Sandy,

Turned out the issue with the discussion board was that I was too popular. I ended up moving the entire discussion board to a new server which I hope is robus enough.
