The Bucket List script

Thanks to Joblo.com – hands down, the best website for movie news and reviews and movie hotties (if you are into that) for the heads up on The Bucket List. There is the August 11, 2006 unspecified draft script by Justin Zackham. Corprate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers have nothing in common except for their terminal illnesses. While sharing a hospital room together, they decide to leave it and do all the things they have ever wanted to do before they die according to their bucket list. In the process, both of them heal each other, become unlikely friends, and ultimately find the joy in life. This was filmed with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Guess who plays the billionaire? Well, check out the trailer on the official site and then tell me that this movie couldn’t have been pulled off with the roles reversed. You can check out the script over on the Movie Scripts page. Thanks Sam for the heads up on the broken link! – Don

WGA – Day 11 – and check out John August.com for strike happenings on the front lines as well as useful screenwriting tips.
